Abstract

The presence of lecturers and students is one factor that influences the quality of teaching and learning activities. Processing information on the company of lecturers and students manually by providing information on the presence of student lecturers in the attendance book. To overcome this problem, this Belitian pen automatically processes lecturer and student information on the presence of lecturers and students by using an SMS Gateway. In general, incoming Short Message Service will be read because of the nature of cellphones, which are private property, and psychologically, someone wants always to be considered necessary. So whatever type of Short Message Service comes in, that person will open and read it. Messages can be conveyed quickly and more effectively without leaflets or notices that are not necessarily read. In addition to sending messages between cell phone users, the Short Message Service is suitable for interacting with a computer-based information system. To obtain accurate data in every job, where the technology is increasingly modern, from the analysis, the researchers carried out the Student Attendance Information System in a system that can increase work efficiency and effectiveness. This research has stages as follows analyzing the needs of lecturers, academics, and students, developing system designs and SMS codes, designing databases, creating systems, testing systems, and determining whether the system is accepted and implemented on campus. This research results from an information system based on SMS Gateway, including student attendance, where the system automatically sends SMS to parents.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: (1) To know and analyze the effectiveness of Government Regulation no. 11 of 2017 concerning the management of civil servants for employee discipline in the Palopo City Government; and (2) to know and analyze the factors that influence the effectiveness of the implementation of Government Regulation No. 11 of 2017 concerning the management of civil servants for employee discipline in the Palopo City Government. This research is descriptive research with an empirical approach. The descriptive research method uses primary data with data collection techniques such as documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. The population in this study were all employees in the Municipal Government of Palopo. The sample in this study was determined to be as many as 45 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the survey show that: (1) Government Regulation Number 11 of 2017 concerning the Management of Civil Servants for employee discipline in the Palopo City Government is implemented ineffectively which is generally considered to be less effective, especially those rules contained in Article 229, namely: (1) To ensure the maintenance of order in the smooth implementation of their duties, civil servants must comply with civil servant discipline; (2) Government agencies are required to enforce discipline against civil servants and carry out various efforts to improve discipline; (3) Civil servants who commit disciplinary violations are subject to disciplinary punishment; (4) Disciplinary punishment for civil servants is imposed by officials who have the authority to punish; and (2) PNS quality factors, PNS behavior, PNS welfare, legal structure, legal culture, legal knowledge, and legal sanctions affect the ineffective implementation of Government Regulation Number 11 of 2017 concerning Management of Civil Servants towards employee discipline in the Palopo Municipal Government, so that the implementation of these seven factors needs to be maximized

Abstract

Currently, data has a role as a vital requirement in research, especially in the health domain. Unfortunately, Indonesia does not yet have many quality datasets that can be obtained easily. Even though the central and regional governments in the Republic of Indonesia have started implementing Open Data Initiatives, the fact is that the data obtained is still not good enough to be used as datasets. This is where open data is required to enable researchers to perform data analytics and visualization, especially research that uses techniques in machine learning. This research fills the gap to solve the above-mentioned problems by providing resource-sharing datasets. We have built an Open Data Health portal from various trusted data sources so that 200 datasets have been collected. The architecture used in our proposed Open Health Data is a single model. This model is suitable for relatively small datasets and is controlled by a single agency. Our test results show that the portal we build can function properly, but lacks data quality and usability. This requires further work, especially in terms of improving the quality and adequacy of the amount of data to be used as datasets, especially for the purposes of resource sharing and machine learning-based research.

Abstract

Globalization has significantly changed international trade law and investment in countries like Indonesia. To improve people's welfare through international trade and foreign investment, because the more significant the output, the greater the foreign exchange that comes in, so that it becomes a source of income for the state treasury. To accelerate the national economy's growth and realize Indonesia's political and economic sovereignty, investment must be increased to transform economic potential into economic power. This study employs a normative juridical research approach, namely a procedure to identify the rule of law, legal principles, and legal doctrines about foreign commerce and investment in Indonesia. The problem of this research is 1). How is international trade regulation from the perspective of investment law in Indonesia? 2). What forms of international trade and investment are based on Law Number 25 of 2007 concerning Investment? This research resulted in the following conclusions: Regulations should be in international trade and investment, and regulations on taxes and agreements set forth by investment companies. The Forms of International Trade are divided into 2, namely bilateral trade and multilateral trade.

Abstract

Assessment of teachers by the Principal of SMA Negeri 1 Kedungwaringin certainly needs to be done to determine the best teacher, so that teacher performance is in accordance with the specified competencies because the teacher is the most important and influential role in the world of education in the process of teaching and learning activities. The assessment was carried out not only for civil servants (PNS), including honorary teachers who also participated in the assessment process so that there were no limitations in evaluating teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Kedungwaringin. This assessment process uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Algorithm. The method used aims to determine the best teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Kedungwaringin who is in accordance with the assessment criteria prepared. The results of the ranking show that Dian Purwanti, S.Pd obtained the highest score of 0.342 out of 5 other teachers. This application is expected to assist school principals in determining the best teacher based on the criteria and weight of each existing value.

Abstract

BPJS, Social Security Administrator, is a state-owned health insurance company previously serving as PT. ASKES (Health Insurance), whose services are implemented in several health agencies in Indonesia. One example is hospitals. In doing the community to provide complete individual health services, the Hospital is one of the health agencies supporting the BPJS (Social Security Administrator) program. One of the hospitals that participated in realizing and launching the BPJS program was the XYZ Hospital in AA City. Currently, in managing one of the BPJS social security programs, XYZ Hospital is still manually processing data in the patient referral process, namely by still using patient referral letters. That is what is being demanded by researchers to realize this study's objectives, namely design, a system where later patient referral data can be computerized and efficiently. Based on observations in the field regarding the data collection process, which is still manual, the researchers will be able to design a patient referral information system with software development tools using database design with MySQL, while programs can use PHP. The researchers in this study used a data collection method, such as interviewing several related parties. This information system design will make it easier for hospital managers in the next stage to develop an information system so that it can be used to process patient referral system data and present computerized information as a whole and efficiently.
