Abstract

The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology in Indonesia is a government organizers in the field of communication and information technology. The success of the ministry on doing its job is based on the existence of information technolgy. Data Center and information Facilities troops is responsible for information technology management. The importance of managing information technology is aligned with managing of optimal information technology resources to support business activities. With the obstacles that have been found about information technology resources currently, human resources management, service request and incindents on Data Center and Information Facilities troops, therefore it's necessary to do the evaluation focus on the problems to help providing recomendations for fixing and improving the problems. The COBIT 5 framework is appropriate to evaluate information technology resources on subdomain EDM04: Ensure Resource Optimisation, APO07: Manage Human Resources, and DSS02: Manage Service Request and Incidents to determine capability level and GAP analysis. The result of capability level on EDM04 and APO07 is at the level 3, DSS02 is at the level 2 with the value of each subdomain gap score 1. In hope that the organization can achieve the targeted level, the recommendation given is focusing on control in each procedures, defining organization structure, and truning systematic documents in incidents handling and service request.

Abstract

The use of cooking oil repeatedly and beyond the normal limits (waste cooking oil) can cause variety of dangerous diseases to human health such as heart failure, stroke, coronary heart disease, and others. However, currently the use of recurrent cooking oil is still high. This is shown from the results of research in Semarang City, showing that 75% of respondents people use the same cooking oil for frying as much as 61.2 percent use it twice, 19.6 percent use it three times, and 5.4 percent use it as four time. Based on problems, it is necessary to have an automation system for classifying the frequency of the using cooking oil, so it can be used for the frequency classification of the use of cooking oil that has been used several times (waste cooking oil) accurately. In this study, the parameters used were the color and turbidity level of cooking oil. Determination of cooking oil classification is based on color and turbidity level of cooking oil was obtained from TCS3200 color sensor readings ADC and the resistance of the photodiode sensor by the Arduino uno microcontroller using the Support Vector Machine methods, because this method is one of the classification methods that are still rarely used, easy to understand, more accurate and has high computational speed. From the results of the tests performed, it is known the percentage error reading TCS3200 color sensor is 3.31% and the photodiode sensor can work well. So, if the cooking oil is more turbid, the value of the photodiode sensor is bigger. Furthermore, in testing the system using the Support Vector Machine method with the amount of training data as many as 60 data and test data as many as 13 data, obtained an accuracy of 92.3% with the average computing time for 4384.53 ms.

Abstract

Preventation of diabetes mellitus bale to do if the patient knows the signs of diabetes mellitus. But people has difficulties to find it's signs. Because the expert in this subject is very less and the cost so expensive. That's why people need to help to prevent this deases by knowing it's signs by using expert system. One of method can use to know diabetes mellitus is Naive Bayes. Naive Bayes a statistic approach to do induction inferency in classification matter. This methode use probability. The basic of Naive Bayes is Training Data. Training Data is Diabetes Mellitus and it's signs that get from research object. The result comes from the biggest probability. Functional test gets 100%. It's means that the system works well. Bigger training data will get higher system accuration. The best accuration is 100% comes from 140 data training.

Abstract

The big number of social media users is a big appeal for entrepreneurs to find new customers and maintaining good relationship with them through social media. Not only big companies, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) also using social media to get some benefits, one of them is culinary SMEs. The number of culinary SMEs is raising rapidly, causing the competition between them get tougher. The present study explored the influences of social media technology use towards business performance satisfaction felt by SMEs. Beside trying to find out the influences between two things mentioned before, this research also considerating the two moderating effects provided by SMEs owners and/or employees' social competency and the intensity of sales generated from social media. The survey data were collected from 80 culinary SMEs in Malang City. The results from multiple linear regression analysis shows that regression model proposed has met the goodness of fit. Results also shows that SMEs whose used social media Instagram tended to report higher business performance satisfaction. Furthermore the social competency of owners and/or employees as independent variables also has influences to business performance satisfaction. Two moderating variables, social competency and the social media sales intensity also influences the relation between social media technology use and business performance satisfaction.

Abstract

The rapid development of intelligent systems is highly developed, one of them in the health or medical fields. In the medical field, a tool is needed to observe the patient's condition in a noninvasive way without injuring the patient. If it is ignored continuously then hypoxia can interfere with the function of the brain, liver, and other organs quickly. So that in this study a hypoxic early symptom detection tool that uses a noninvasive method using the Max30100 sensor that is clipped to the fingertip can be made to determine the results of the initial symptoms of hypoxia. To detect the initial symptoms of hypoxia in this tool, the Sugeno fuzzy method is used so that output is obtained according to the existing rules. Sugeno fuzzy method will process data taken from the Max30100 sensor. There are 3 hardware devices that are on this device, the Arduino microcontroller as the controller, the Max30100 sensor to get the input and Bluetooth for sending data to the smarthphone. Software uses the Arduino IDE to program detection devices and APP inventors to program android applications so they can display data. In this study, the test results were obtained and the results of the test obtained a tool error of 2.96% for oxygen duration and 2.86% for heart rate obtained. From the fuzzy method on 12 data experiments, 100% accuracy was obtained and the Sugeno fuzzy method was able to process the input data properly.

Abstract

Robot is a very important work for the life of modern humans currently. Robot created to facilitate human activities daily, especially humanoid robot, the robot is able to similar almost all human activities completely, ranging from robots have joints to robots that are able to walk and exercise, but the constraints are often seen in the humanoid robot has not been able to walk Well, therefore this study aims to obtain the error value and maximum results in the process running on humanoid robot using kinematic inverse method. This study will provide an overview of the process of walking in detail and the calculation of the value of each joint so that the robot is able to stand and walk properly. The humanoid robot research design uses actuators in the form of Dynamixel AX-12 servo motor as propulsion and minicomputer Raspberry Pi as the brain and processor of all instructions given to the robot. Testing of this humanoid robot includes the robot's straight path, the robot oblique path and the testing time taken from the movement. Testing of robot straight path has an average rate of 92% and time 54,1 second, while the straight road has 86% accuracy and time 69,46 second.

Abstract

University of Brawijaya Malang has applied moodle based e-learning. UB e-learning website can be accessed through vlm.ub.ac.id. This research has a purpose to determine what factors that affecting the acceptance and success of UB e-learning implementation on the aspects of intention to use, use, user satisfaction and net benefit. The model that used there are the combined model of four variables Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), there are performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions and seven variables Delone and McLean with modifications there are system quality, information quality, service quality, intention to use, use, user satisfaction and net benefits using parametric and non parametric methods. Collecting data method using the questionnaire online, with the minimum number of samples using slovin formula of 100. Based on the results of the data that has been collected, the number of respondent that will be used for this research is 113. The collected data is tested the basic assumption of normality, linearity and homogeneity. The data that passed the basic assumption test was done by parametric analysis using simple linear regression, while those did not pass the basic assumption be analyze using non parametric using Kendall Tau method. The results showing that all the variables that checked thoroughly positively affect the aspects of intention to use, use, user satisfaction and net benefits of UB e-learning.

Abstract

PDAM Malang is one of company that provide water distribution service. One of the services provided is complaint service which will help customers's complaints. The most frequently reported complaints services within the last 6 months of September 2017 - February 2018 are non-flowing water, booth meter checks, increased usage, leaking pipes, leaking cob and road reconditioning. Mission of PDAM Malang is to improve and give service priority. However, based on reviews from website of PDAM Malang, most of people gave criticism related to the handling of complaints on PDAM. Based on observations, the business process flow of complaint-handling service has variations on certain conditions that may affect targets from those already established. Variations can be formed due to an uncertain condition in a business process, so that variation has a major influence on the ongoing activity. Therefore it is necessary to evaluate the variation of 6 business process complaint services. Getting the variation will be conducted through applying process mining that will get two variations, then the evaluation will be conducted by using Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF) method, so it will found 15 quality factor in 6 types of complaint. From the result of the evaluation, that was founded is one of quality factor that is not in accordance with the target and has no relation with the resulting variation, but there are some quality factors that can be achieved or in accordance with the target.

Abstract

Electrocardiogram (ECG) can be used to recognize abnormal heart beats or arrhythmia. Automatic arrhythmia recognition can be achieved through the use of machine learning techniques. However, ECG generates raw numerical data with large amount of features that can reduce the quality of automatic recognition. Genetic algorithm (GA) can be utilized to perform a feature selection, reducing the amount of features. Data with reduced features then will be used to train a support vector machine (SVM) classifier. ECG data from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology-Beth Israel Hospital (MIT-BIH) arrhythmia database is used as training and testing data. Each data is a six-second ECG recording, and is classified into normal heartbeat and 3 different kind of arrhythmias. Result shows that GA-SVM yielded average accuracy of 82.5% with 120 training data and 20 test data, and reduced the amount of feature from 2160 original features to an average of 406 reduced features.

Abstract

Technology development nowdays has reached all areas including education.With the support of technology, teaching and learning activities can be increase to a better level. SMP Negeri 1 Cikarang Barat has adequate technology facilities, but the facility is not fully utilized yet for teaching and learning activities. In this research, developed a learning application called E-School which has a feature to detect plagiarism on the answers of tasks and student quizzes which type is essay. The plagiarism detection feature will be developed by applying knuth-morris-pratt algorithm. The application applying the Evolutionary Prototype approach that could be help stakeholders and system developers in exploring system requirement specification as desired by stakeholder. By applying Evolutionary Prototype approch,. stakeholders can work together as to what will be developed and this will impact some additional and functional changes between the first prototype and the second prototype. Stakeholder and developer can evaluated the prototype of the application that is being developed, this can be simplify the communication in the aim for system elicitation and this can avoid some of misunderstanding between stakeholder and developer in builiding application. The results of the test obtained all the functionality contained in the application first prototype and second prototype has been running well and the second prototype can be used by stakeholder.
