Abstract

Choosing a tourist destination when you want to go on vacation is a must for people so that they don't choose a tourist location wrong and so they don't get disappointed when they have visited a tour. A review is needed in this case, because with the review the public can find out the comments given by previous visitors. The comments given are not only in the form of praise, but sometimes there are visitors who feel disappointed so that they give bad comments too. The number of comments that sometimes makes people difficult and takes a long time to find out all the advantages and disadvantages of a tourist destination. To overcome this problem, a classification of tourism reviews is carried out using the SVM and QE methods. In this study, 200 data comments were used which were divided into positive and negative. The method used in this research is the Support Vector Machine method with a linear kernel with Query Expansion. QE in this case has the utility to expand the words that are in the test data that have synonyms for words that are not found in the training data. The results of the test produce an average accuracy value of 87.50% with the parameter value of learning rate = 10 and complexity value = 20. Based on the test results, the accuracy of using the SVM method with QE is 87.50% and accuracy using the SVM method without QE of 77.50%.

Abstract

Land Surface Temperature (LST) is the temperature found in the outermost layer of the soil surface. Information about LST is very important because LST is a factor that can influence global climate change. There are several ways that can be used to obtain SPT data, one of which is to use data obtained from satellites using the help of a satellite image data processing application such as QGIS. There are various plugins provided by QGIS to help its users. Plugins are additional tools designed to deal with various problems encountered. However, there is currently no plugin that automatically calculates the LST algorithm. LST algorithm calculations performed on the QGIS application still use manual methods so to get LST data requires a complex steps to produce LST data. To facilitate the process of getting LST data, a plugin is needed that helps users to automatically calculate LST. In this case, the QGIS SPT plugin is built using the Python with the hope that it can simplify and speed up the process of calculating LST data.

Abstract

Broiler chickens are one of the main needs of the community. Poultry production ranks at the top in meeting meat needs by contributing 70 percent of the total 3.5 million tons of meat production throughout Indonesia. The potential for fulfilling the needs of chicken meat has a high risk with high environmental temperatures due to global warming. The factors that cause crop failure due to climate change are the influence of weather conditions, cages and the environment caused by the chickens being susceptible to infection. So that we need a system that can monitor the conditions of the cage to adjust the condition of the chicken's body with the surrounding environment. The system that is made consists of 3 components, namely publisher, broker, subscriber. The first component is a series of DHT11 temperature and humidity sensors on the ESP8266 as a microcontroller and also as a WIFI module, coupled with a USB webcam camera to monitor conditions in the cage as a publisher. Then the Raspberry Pi microcomputer acts as a server as well as functions as a broker. Data transmission is carried out using the help of a wireless network and data processing is carried out in a local broker. From the research made, the test results obtained are as expected and obtained the system performance which refers to the average latency value below 1ms, namely 0.31 ms. Abstract

The Halodoc mobile application on the Google Playstore was recorded as of January 2021 getting a rating of 4.8 out of 5 with around 6 thousand users still giving a rating of 1. Halodoc prioritizes the ease of consulting with doctors through chat features with doctors, purchasing drugs, making hospital appointments and visit without the need to queue. Based on user feedback and preliminary interviews with the Halodoc application, it was found that there were difficulties in finding information and felt uncomfortable with the display of images that were deemed unrepresentative, there were also a complaint to the displays on some of the menus. These constraints cause a sense of discomfort to the user. To find out how comfortable the user feels when using an application, an evaluation of the usability of the application is needed. Based on the evaluation of usability testing to three new user participants and three old user participants from the Halodoc application, a proposed design design was then made as a recommendation for improvement based on the design principles of the Eight Golden Rules. The results of the evaluation of the proposed design get an increase in the usability value, namely the learnability criterion of 1.62 which decreases to 1.13. Efficiency criteria of 89.97% increased to 100.0%. The criteria for memorability are the average number of steps and average clicks from 33 steps and 29.33 clicks to 27.33 steps and 23.33 clicks. The errors criteria got a value of 6.48%, decreased to 0%, and the satisfaction criteria got a value of 81.3 which increased to 90,8 which means it is also above the average score. With the test results that have increased from the usability value, the proposed design can be easily used by users and has resolved user problems.

Abstract

Face is a part of the human body that is very influential in everyday life. Most humans recognize a person by face. From the uniqueness of the face, there are innovations about automatic presence using faces that are more efficient than manual presence which is prone to manipulation. However, in reality, automatic presence based on facial recognition has a disadvantage of high light intensity, which makes facial images look biased. This problem can be overcome by approaching the YCbCr color space which is able to overcome the high light intensity in the image. The essence of automatic presence is the process of detecting and recognizing human facial images. In this study, only focus on facial recognition with the YCbCr color space feature extraction method and the Principle Component Analysis method. The results from the PCA value will be calculated using the Eucledian Distance to determine the closeness between the training image and the test image. In this test using two scenarios, the first test scenario uses a test image without light that is able to get an accuracy of 84%. The second test scenario uses a test image with a light beam capable of obtaining an accuracy of 52%.

Abstract

The Environmental Service of Malang City is a government agency engaged in the regional environmental sector which includes activities to supervise, control and control the environment in Malang City. The role of DLH Malang City in providing services requires a permit document for planning activities or business in the environment as legal protection for the environment and society against the impact of issuing administrative decisions. In the environmental document storage process, it is stored in the form of physical documents and electrical documents. In the electrical document storage mechanism, each officer is required to provide data reports on the results of client services related to activities for recapitulation into a computer archive. All data is recapitulated in excel, while environmental document files are stored in the computer directory. The problem that was found was that the review process was not optimal because of the limitations of officers in reporting or client services requiring time and effort to access the archive computer. The complaint mechanism acts as a means of alleged incidental complaints to provide rights and opportunities for the community to be able to take an active role in protecting and managing the environment of Malang City. The problem that was found in this mechanism, DLH Malang city wanted to use the existing website to be able to function as a complaint medium to support the quality of complaint services. Therefore, the authors conducted a study by proposing that this service system was built to help optimize the needs of officers to improve the quality of DLH services in Malang. The waterfall model is used because all needs are clearly defined in advance.

Abstract

Routing is the core of an infrastructure network that regulates how the path of sending a packet from one node to another node, the routing network is divided into 2 namely cable networks and wireless networks. One of the routing protocols of wireless networks that have a flat topology is Directed Diffusion (DD), Directed Diffusion (DD) is a routing mechanism in WSN where the sink node will request the data source on the source node by sending an interest then the source node will search the best route for sending data from the source node to the sink node. To do wireless network routing, a wireless communication module is needed, one of the wireless communication modules is LORA SX1278. In previous studies managed to make a comparison between the Directed Diffusion routing algorithm and Geographic Adaptive Fidelity which proves that Directed Diffusion routing is better when it is simulated on network simulation software. Therefore in this study the writer implements the Directed Diffusion routing algorithm and tries to develop it using the LORA communication module. In this study there are 6 nodes contained LORA SX1278 module, where 1 functions as a sink node, 1 functions as a source node, and 4 functions as a neighbor. In this study the authors did not maximize the range of LORA distances due to the lack of testing sites during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to analyze the results of the Directed Diffusion routing algorithm which is the RSSI value and the routing path obtained. In this test the author tests the routing algorithm by providing data transmission variations of 8 bytes, 16 bytes, 32 bytes, and 64 bytes. The results of the tests obtained show that the RSSI values ​​obtained dynamically from -118dB to -72dB and the routing paths obtained are not affected by changing data variations.

Abstract

cQuran was a platform for Al-Quran recitation session, together using voice channel feature that developed in mobile apps. Users could create a voice channels with selected surah. Through this channel, user can start recitation session with other users, as well as interact to provide input from the recitation of the Al-Quran that is spoken. In the process of developing the application, the development team has never been evaluated the app related to the user experience. In this study, evaluation was carried out and improvement were designed to enhance the user experience related to the user interaction with the application. In the process, the Usability Testing method is used with 3 aspects, namely effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction, as well ass design thinking the process of designing the solution. Based on the results of the first stage evaluation, for the effectiveness aspect it was obtained a value of 67,85%, 33,72% for efficiency aspect, and a SUS score for the satisfaction aspect for 69. Based on the results of the first stage evaluation, there were 17 recommendation points based on observations and interviews. Using that recommendations, an improvement was designed for cQuran apps. After carrying out the second phase of testing the effectiveness value was 92%, the efficiency aspect was 76%, and SUS score for the satisfaction aspect was 75. Based on the student t-test that conduct to test the truth of the increase in the third usability aspect, it shows that the increased value was really happen. For the efficiency aspect that get a higher increased percentage namely 42,3%, could occur after the addition of a onboarding screen and tutorial tooltips flow. It makes user to be able to learn all of the features and new layout design that implemented in the solution.

Abstract

Business people use many technological developments in their business, one of which is the management information system. The perfume business is a business that is available in various regions. Blossom Perfume is a shop that runs a famous perfume business in the Kisaran area, Asahan Regency, North Sumatra. Blossom Perfume is currently still using manual methods in transaction data and checking the stock of perfume seeds at each outlet as well as the estimated demand for seed stock in the following month. To solve this problem, a management information system was developed that supports Blossom Perfume in writing sales transactions and optimizing information. The development process in this system uses the waterfall model method. The main features contained in this management system are adding transaction data, viewing transaction history, viewing seed stock at each outlet and predicting orders for perfume seeds. This system is expected to make it easier for owners to manage their business. In making predictions, this system uses the Single Exponential Smoothing (SES) method. The choice of this algorithm is because it requires little past data by assuming fluctuations in data around the average value that still pay attention to patterns or trends. Web-based system with Codeigniter (CI) framework. Testing on this system uses the Whitebox method for unit testing and integration and the Blackbox method for testing validation. Reusability testing was also carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method with a final score of 88.3 (acceptable).

Abstract

Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) is a technology that is very popular with the public. The reason is because the user is not bothered with the length of the cable that must be connected to the device. However, there are weaknesses that can harm the user actively or passively. The weakness of this technology is that the transmission media is too open and a weak encryption scheme that can provide a path for hackers to enter the network. Rogue Access Point (RAP) is one of the most dangerous attacks on this technology. Thus, this study aims to detect RAP on the network. To achieve the objectives of this study, a Multi-Agent method is used to detect the presence of RAP on the network. The Multi-Agent method used in this study consists of a Master Agent and a Slave Agent to detect RAP. The Master Agent is pinned on the Network Manager device while the Slave Agent is pinned on the PC Staff. Slave Agent acts as a sensor while the Master Agent has the role to decide whether the findings from Slave are RAP or not. The results of the study were obtained based on two tests, namely the accuracy test resulted in 80% of the ten experiments while the detection time obtained a value of 1.94 seconds. The conclusion of this research is the Multi-Agent method successfully detected the presence of RAP on the network resulting in an 80% value for the accuracy test and 1.94 seconds for the detection time test. So, the Multi-Agent method can detect RAP well.
