Abstract

Tourism has became one of influential sectors that plays significant role in shaping the economy of a nation. Malang Raya is one of the place in Indonesia that have an abundance of tourism potential. Malang Raya is a region consisting of three different area of administration which are Kabupaten Malang, Kota Malang, and Kota Batu. Malang Raya has a large collection of destinations and attractions for tourists. On the other hand, the diverse tourism spots to visit can rise another issue as tourists left confused in choosing the best sites and destination alternatives that suit their expectations. The selection of routes faced with limited travel time is a common optimization problem known as Travelling Salesman Problem With Time Windows (TSP-TW). Optimization problem such of TSP-TW can be solved by utilizing Evolution Strategies (ES). According to the result acquired in (pre-research) assessment, the highest fitness value of 0,0041 is reached when the sum of population is 100 and the sum of generation is 15. The results of the optimization test obtained that the application can optimize the recommendation of respondents by 5.57%.

Abstract

Wireless Sensor Network is a technology used in obtaining data from physical conditions or environmental conditions with the help of sensors. Wireless Sensor Network consists of several nodes that will transmit data on the Gateway node. Wireless Sensor Network communication requires the same Channel to connect between nodes. Problems with the Wireless Sensor Network if the area is monitored widely and the nodehas multi- channels will require a lot of Gateway nodes according to the number of channels. Wireless Sensor Network communication like this is less concise and requires extra funds. Based on the problems mentioned in this research applied Wireless Sensor Network communication with multi-channel. Multi-channel will improve the performance of data transmission so that on the Gateway nodethere are several channels for communication with the node. The method in this study is another SPI (Serial Periperal Interface) on the node, I2C on the Gateway node. The results of Wireless Sensor Network communication with Multi-Channel method can improve the delivery and data reception performance. The node address specification has an important role in multi-channel communication to perform channel switches in receiving data on the server. Data obtained by the server successfully received at the same time, but it takes approximately 2 - 4 seconds of synchronization at the beginning communication.

Abstract

It's a common sense that the railways as a means of transportation is needed by all kind of people. In previous studies, GPS train tracking is done with XML RPC technology. For each train that will going to be tracked, it's being installed with an Android based mobile device that comes with an application which will sends GPS's signals that contains position data at a certain time's interval to a server via a webservice mechanism by utilizing XML RPC technology. The author believes, the method of publish/subscribe can be used to replace the method in the previous studies without having a result that inferior to XML RPC client-server. This study uses MQTT protocol (MQ Telemetry Transport) and Mosquitto broker to implement publish/subscribe architecture. Finally, it can be concluded that the quality of the produced delay is in compliance with the author's hypothesis, that the delays required to deliver messages generated by the publish/subscribe protocol are smaller than XML RPC protocol's delays, as has been shown in the preliminary research, where the resulting delay of XML RPC protocol are always greater than MQTT. This is being proved using 2 testing scenarios for each protocol, these are one-to-many testing and many-to-one testing.

Abstract

Software cost estimation is a process of predicting the effort to develop a software. The basic input of software cost estimation is measurement metric. Projects often delays, over-budget, and do not finish because failure estimate software development costs. PT Sekawan Media Informatika determining the estimated cost based on the number of human resources, the required features, and the complexity of the database based on estimates project manager called Guesstimate. This research explains the allocation of cost estimation, time, and human resources in the development of Archive Letter Management System Information (SIPAS) at PT. Sekawan Media Informatika uses Function Point and Object Point, and project schedule using Gantt Chart based on Work Breakdown Structure. Function Point is a metrics sizing of software functionality based on five types of user functions, External Input, External Output, External Inquire, Internal Logic File, and External Interface File and technical calculation from software development, result in a lower effort estimation of 44 people over 9 days with a total cost of Rp. 34.381.426. Object Point is a software measurement metric based on the number and complexity of an object screen, report, and 3GL component (third generation language) as well as calculate the percentage of reuse and productivity value, result in a large estimated effort of 44 people over 12 days with total cost of Rp. 47.286.499.

Abstract

User experience is gained by the consumers through the participation and involvement when using the appications. It has a possibility to be captured more strongly than consumers experience from conventional media. The aim of this research is to determine whether there is influence of user experience on brand image, the influence's level of user experience on the brand image, and also the influence of user experience on the brand image. This research used two methods, there are De Angeli method which used seven dimensions for measuring the user experience and also Keller method which used three dimensions for measuring the brand image. The data source used in this study was a primary data which derived from quitionnaire. Based on the data analysis, it is known that the user experience on the ride sharing application had no effect toward the brand image of ride sharing application, then the high correlation level of user experience towards the brand image explained that the user experience was able to influence on the brand image. The user experience of Android users had an effect amount 29.40% and 52.10% for iOS users on the brand image.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi membuat kualitas kehidupan manusia semakin berkembang, banyak dari perusahaan yang saling berlomba dalam membuat teknologi yang dapat memudahkan kehidupan manusia, salah satu teknologinya adalah alat transportasi. Alat transportasi sangat bermacam-macam dari yang di darat, laut ataupun udara semua menggunakan teknologi. Transportasi darat sekarang ini tidak hanya difungsikan sebagai alat transportasi pada umumnya tetapi dibuat gaya hidup. Alat transportasi yang sedang banyak dikembangkan adalah alat transportsi satu roda atau sering disebut Segway, teknologi ini dapat digunakan jarak pendek, karena bebannya yang cukup berat sehingga sulit untuk dibawa kemana. Dari masalah tersebut pada penelitian ini dibuat alat transportasi yang cukup ringan dan memenuhi daya hidup yaitu skateboard beroda satu. Pada umumnya skatebord beroda empat, untuk memenuhi gaya hidup dibuat skatebord dengan sentuhan teknologi yaitu sakteboard beroda satu. Skateboard ini memanfaatkan gyroscope dan accelerometer sebagai sensor untuk menyeimbangkan badan dari skateboard. Roda memanfaatkan motor BLDC dan driver motor IBT2, arduino nano sebagai mikrokontrollernya dan PID sebagai metode kontroller. Dengan menggunakan metode proporsional integratif derivatif yang ditanamkan pada kontroller arduino uno dengan nilai Kp=6.98, Ki=4.61 dan Kd=1.15 sistem dapat berjalan sesuai yang diinginkan yaitu skateboard dapat setimbang

Abstract

Women during pregnancy are advised to maintain nutritional adequacy, especially energy and protein. Inadequate nutrition intake will cause pregnant women at risk of Chronic Lack of Energy or in Indonesian called as Kurang Energi Kronis (KEK). In this research given recommendations of the composition of foodstuffs that have balanced nutrition with minimal price using genetic algorithm. The process of finding a solution is to perform a combination of chromosomes and then processed using genetic operators (crossover, mutation, and selection). Crossover process using one cut point method, mutation method used is exchange mutation, and selection process using selection elitism method. Need of parameters of genetic algorithm are population size, Crossover rate (Cr), Mutation rate (Mr), and number of generations. In this system obtained the best optimization results on the population size of 100 population with average fitness value 17.744, Cr value of 0.5 and the value of Mr of 0.5 with average fitness value 17.983, and on the number of generations 100 generated average Average fitness value of 17.962. The results obtained recommendations of the composition of foodstuffs for 7 days along with the costs to be incurred. However, these results still do not meet the maximal needs during pregnancy.

Abstract

Virtualization is the process of creating forms in virtual versions of operating systems, networks and others that can run applications like physical devices. Resources in virtualization become an important factor to support server performance. Sometimes resources are not fully utilized when resource allocation remains. As a result, when the server requires more resources, unused memory allocations can not be used. With memory allocation, the system can manage memory usage to maintain and improve server performance that can sometimes change. Application of memory allocation can be facilitated by algorithm and k-means regression method to predict the use of memory resources. To that end, the authors have implemented a dynamic memory allocation system on computer-based k-means clustering system. From the test results, the system is able to make changes in the form of upgrades and downgrades with the help of tools Apache Jmeter with time 2.5 seconds. Based on the results of tests that have been done, hypervisor successfully upgraded at 36.5699 seconds from 1 GB to 2 GB. Then second to 153.1348 hypervisor upgrade again from 2 GB to 4 GB. After the request to the server stops, the hypervisor downgrades the seconds to 611.709 from 4 GB to 2 GB then downgrade again in seconds to 624.4994 from 2 GB to 1 GB.

Abstract

In conducting a software project, the success of the project should begin with a proper planning. If the planning is considered as bad, it will cause the failure of the project. One of the example of failure projects takes place on the time swelling of the Time swelling can lead to the swelling of the project cost. One of the project planning phase is the project cost estimation. Project cost estimation constitutes time, cost and number estimation of employees working on the project. The cost estimation of this research uses COCOMO II method. COCOMO II method provide a cost estimation technique which aims to determine how long is the process of software development and the number of employees needed to finish the software project. To describe the characteristics of the project, COCOMO II method uses Scale Driver and Effort Multipliers questionnaires which are distributed to the entire project team. To illustrate the complexity of the system that will be done, the value of Unadjusted Function Point is used in each process of Monitoring Information System and Evaluation of Achieved-Student Scholarship Enrollment of UIN Malang which are obtained from Data Flow Diagram analysis. The research result is the cost estimation (time, cost, number of employees) to finish the Monitoring Information System project and Evaluation of Achieved-Student Scholarship Enrollment of UIN Malang

Abstract

Brawijaya University website information service is an important aspect for Brawijaya University in providing information to its users. The concept of good quality of information services and according to user needs will affect user satisfaction and perceived value. This research uses conceptual model from E-S-Qual and E-Recs-Qual to measure the quality of website information service of Brawijaya University and to know the effect of the model on user satisfaction and perceived value. The measurement of the quality of Brawijaya University website information service uses 8 variables from E-S-Qual and E-Recs-Qual including Efficiency, System Availability, Privacy, Fulfillment, Web Appearance, Personalization, Responsiveness, and Contact. This study also provides recommendations using the ISO / IEC 9126 standard. This study uses the population of Brawijaya University students with a sample of 310 respondents. Methods of data collection of this research is by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Correlation analysis techniques and correlation strength between latent variables or constructs using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that the variables system availability and contact is a variable that has no effect on user satisfaction and perceived value due to these variables produce a critical ratio value of less than 1.96 at the stage structural fit model.
