Abstract

Data management activities are important activities for every agency. SDN Wadungasri Sidoarjo is one of the primary level formal school institutions in Sidoarjo district. Data collection for students at this school is still done manually by using books or by manual data collection applications on a computer. Manual data management requires a lot of time. For teachers, searching for learning device documents can take 20 to 30 minutes. In this study, a web-based application system will be proposed using the Waterfall model software development method to support student data management activities. The Waterfall model is suitable for use because the application requirements are predetermined prior to system design and implementation. Whereas for designing the system architecture using the Model View Controller (MVC) architecture so that the grouping of system functions is more orderly. In this study, an analysis of unit testing and system validation will be carried out, as well as an analysis of usability and system compatibility. The results of unit testing and validation show that the application meets functional requirements and produces valid test results. The results of usability testing using the task scenario found 98.2% success in the users of Educators and Education Personnel. Whereas usability using the USE questionnaire method has an average result of the feasibility of the usefulness criteria of 98.14%, the ease of use criteria of 96.59%, the ease of learning criteria of 97.13%, and the satisfaction criteria of 95.02%. Application compatibility test results have produced valid test results.

Abstract

Malang is one of the favorite tourist destinations in the country. However, the beaches in South Malang are still relatively deserted by tourists. This is because its location is far from the city center, so most tourists prefer to visit attractions in the city center and Batu area only. In fact, the beaches in South Malang have a beauty and uniqueness that is not widely known by tourists. With the increasing number of facilities and media that support the implementation of virtual reality, the innovation that is widely applied is using virtual tourism. Many companies in the tourism industry innovate by utilizing this digital technology. Innovations using virtual reality in the tourism sector have been shown to have a positive impact. Based on the problems that have been described, a virtual tourism application for Balekambang and Watu Leter Beach in Greater Malang was developed with an integrated ambience environment. In its development, this application uses the Agile software development life cycle (SDLC) and is based on Web VR. This application is divided into two parts, a VR application for users, and an admin application to manage data on tourist attractions and spots that will be used by users. The implementation of this application uses HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript. HTML and CSS are used to create views with the help of Bootstrap. PHP and Javascript are used to run application functions with the help of Laravel and A-Frame. This application was tested using black box testing method for functional requirements, as well as usability and compatibility testing for non-functional requirements. From the results of black box testing, it was found that all functional requirements were valid. From the results of usability testing, it was found that VR applications without an ambience environment got an average System Usability Testing (SUS) score of 70.42, VR applications with an ambience environment got an SUS score of 80.83, and admin applications got an SUS score of 72.5.

Abstract

Digital distribution service is a container for various applications that can be downloaded at any time. In addition to applications on Digital distribution service, there are also application reviews that contain comments from certain application users. The review contains a very large number of negative comments or positive comments. Due to the large number of reviews, the digital distribution service shares these reviews using ratings with inappropriate review content. To solve the problem of mismatch between the content of the review and the rating given by the user, a sentiment analysis is needed. This study uses the Naive Bayes method and the Modified Term Frequency Scheme. Naive Bayes method was chosen because it works well in document classification by estimating the required parameters. Used 1,500 data consisting of 627 positive reviews and 873 negative reviews. Preprocessing process is carried out, weighting using the Modified Term Frequency Scheme and document classification using the Naive Bayes method. In the 5-fold test, the average of the method used was accuracy 83%, recall 86%, precision 76%, f-measure 77,70% with the 3rd fold being the best fold with accuracy 85%, recall 84,50%, precision 81,34%, f-measure 82,88%.

Abstract

The online learning policy that had to be taken during the Covid-19 pandemic required SMK Negeri 51 Timur to utilize learning media to facilitate learning and teaching activities to continue. One of the learning media used by SMK Negeri 51 East Jakarta is the Google Classroom. In the context of using Google Classroom as a computer technology, there are factors that affect the acceptance of technology use by users, one of which is the perception of convenience and the perception of usefulness. In this study, the authors tested the influence of the perceived ease of use factor and the perceived usefulness of using Google Classroom as a learning medium used by SMK 51 East Jakarta and how it affects student learning motivation and independence. This research was meant to determine whether there is a partial and simultaneous influence on the perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of students in using Google Classroom on their learning motivation and learning independence. Researchers conducted observations, interviews and distributed questionnaires to collect primary data. The author uses a saturated sampling technique in taking samples or using the entire population of students in the multimedia department of the 2019/2020 school year totaling 72 students consisting of two classes. For data processing, the authors used partial test (t test), determination coefficient test, correlation product moment test, simple linear regression test and multiple linear regression test. After processing the data, the authors get the following results (1) perceived ease of use of Google Classroom has a partial effect on learning motivation as evidenced by the value of t count 4.066> t table 1.99444 with a significance value of 0.000 (2) perceived ease of use of Google Classroom has a partial effect on learning independence as evidenced by the value of t count 3,3456 > t count 1.99444 with a significance value of 0.001 (3) the perceived usefulness of using Google Classroom has a partial effect on learning motivation as evidenced by the value of t count 4,743> t table 1.99444 with a significance value of 0.000 (4) the perceived usefulness of using Google Classroom has a partial effect on learning independence as evidenced by the value of t count 5,319 > t table 1.99444 with a significance value of 0.000. (5) perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of use have a simultaneous effect on learning motivation as evidenced by the value of f count 14.125> f t­ table 3.13 with a significance value of 0.000. (6) perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of use have a simultaneous effect on learning independence as evidenced by the value of f count 14.872> f t table 3.13 with a significance value of 0.000.

Abstract

Twitter is a social media that is still very popular in Indonesia. Not just for communication, Twitter now become one of the fastest way of spreading information. One of information that disseminated by Twitter is news. This thing is proven by the large number of followers in online news media's Twitter account such as @detikcom that has over fifteen million followers on its Twitter account. Nowadays, news tweets on Twitter are not categorized into categories based on the discussion in that news. This research is conducted to classify the categories of the news on Twitter to make user easily find the category of the news that users want to find. One of algorithm that can be applied to do classification is Support Vector Machine (SVM). This research use multi-class SVM algorithm with one against all method with classes as many as 5 type of classes. Before proceeding to SVM algorithm process, preprocessing and term weighting is processed first. Parameter-parameter that are used by this research are ratio of training data and test data 90%:10%, lambda = 0.1, complexity = 0.001, learning rate = 0.0001, and epsilon = 0.0001. The average accuracy value in this research is 0.85.

Abstract

Pattent Goods is a local brand that presents comfortable daily wear products and focuses the production of socks located in Bandung, West Java. Pattent Goods has a website that needs to be improved in terms of interface appearance, information structure and content addition. The Goal-Directed Design method can provide solutions to create a website interface that fits the user. Goal-Directed Design (GDD) has six steps to research. The first stage is research to get initial data from general users and stakeholders. The second stage is modeling to produce persona modeling. The third stage is the requirements for finalizing the need for personas. The fourth stage is a framework for designing interface frameworks in the form of wireframes. The fifth stage is a refinement for the construction of a high fidelity prototype design. The last stage is support for running the final testing and evaluation of high fidelity prototype websites that have been improved. In the final evaluation using a System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. The final evaluation result of system usability scale get an average score of 81.5 and get acceptable category in acceptability ranges, get category B in grade scale, get excellent category in adjcetive rating and percentile rank get grade A.

Abstract

One of the Posyandu, namely Posyandu Permatasari, every month, a health check is carried out for toddlers and the elderly. This health monitoring is seen from several indicators, the recordes on the Kartu Menuju Sehat (KMS). After that, it will be recorded in the reports and the health ranking of toddlers and elderly will be made. In doing the ranking, currently Posyandu cadres are still doing the sorting by manually comparing toddlers and elderly people. So that it takes quite a long time, and sometimes there are writing errors. Therefore, researchers created a system to rank healthy toddlers and elderly people, which is expected to help increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Posyandu cadres in monitoring progress and making reports easier. This research will be made using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to find the weight of the criteria used and the Weighted Product (WP) to rank each alternative using the weight obtained in the AHP calculation. Based on the result of the tests that have been carried out, for toddler data in testing changes in the value of comparison matrix between criteria, for all matrix changes, the accuracy value was 100% with maximum lambda value of 2, CI value 0, and CR value 0. Meanwhile for the elderly data, in the testing changes in the value of comparison matrix between criteria, the highest accuracy value was 90% wih maximum lambda value of 8,361, CI value 0.05157, and CR value 0.03657.

Abstract

Students in schools generally think about the diversity of intelligence levels, there are students who have high, ordinary, and low intelligence levels. The diversity of the intelligence levels of these students makes students who have a high level of intelligence can not maximize what they can get. Therefore the school makes a superior class program, superior classes are classes filled with students who have a high level of intelligence. The selection of superior class students in a case study in SMA Negeri 1 Taman still uses a manual that compares students with other students. So in order to simplify the selection process of superior class students, it is necessary to create a system for the recommendation process for selection of superior class program students. In carrying out the decision support system this recommendation uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and Weighted Product (WP) methods. This system uses several student grades as a criterion to be calculated including the potential academic test scores, psychological scores, and the national exam scores of each subject. The SAW method is used to calculate the overall UN score and the WP method is used to calculate all grades and rank is then taken 36 students with the largest value. From the testing that has been done, the accuracy result is 80.56%. From the results obtained it can be concluded that the use of the SAW and WP methods is quite effective in using the superior class recommendation system.

Abstract

The search for housekeepers on life is now a common thing for some people. It is not closed the possibility that housekeepers are also looking for employers who want to hire them. High time intensity also makes employers difficult to find suitable workers because of the absence of time. Therefore, research is developed based on the problems that have been raised. In the development of search housemaid, model prototyping is used to get the necessary needs in application development. This developed application will be excavated needs to be used to create useful applications for prospective employers and prospective housekeepers. In the use of this method there is a mockup created as a picture of the application to be used, the mockup will be evaluated by the user and will be reviewed either the addition of the need or reduction of needs until the discovery of the completed application in the evaluation and will be implemented using Android. Android is an operating system that is widely used among people nowadays, development of this application using Android Studio application with database using Google Firebase Realtime database. Testing of the application there are three Tests namely Blackbox testing, usability testing, and compatibility testing, which results from the three tests are useful to make the application run as function, accepted in all actors and can run on many types of Android operating systems.

Abstract

Population growth which always increases every year has an impact on the need for public transportation services. In this case, the role of technology is needed in the needs of public transportation services. Angkot is one type of public transportation service used by many residents and currently, the Malang City government has provided information on public transportation routes on the MediaCentre website. However, the problem that occurs is that there is no direct information at the bus stop. This study builds an angkot system system for bus stops with the aim of making it easier to see the angkot when passing the bus stop. The Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol is used in this study to be embedded in public transportation in the form of a beacon module. The Message Queue Telemetry (MQTT) protocol is used as a communication protocol between stops, using a cloud brokerage service on cloud.mqtt.com. The tests are limited to only 3 pieces of public transportation at one stop. The results of the system functionality test result in all functionality requirements being met. The results of the response time test for the detection of incoming angkot resulted in the highest average detection of 3 angkot with a scanning time of 0.247563 seconds and the lowest average scanning time of 0.117454 seconds. Another response time test is the time of sending data from the bus stop that supervises the angkot to the next stop with the highest average time on the detection of 2 angkots at once with 0.981685 seconds and the lowest average time at 0.792323 seconds. The result of the distance tester is that the maximum range between public transportation and bus stops is 30 meters
