Abstract

Chili peppers are fruits or plants of the genus Capsicum. Fruits can be classified as spices or vegetables. As a spice, chili peppers are very popular in Southeast Asia as a food flavor enhancer. Chilies have some nutritional content in 100 grams of it, which content: Water, energy, protein, fat, carbohydrates, fiber, calcium, etc. Chili also has several benefits, including: Relieve pain, maintain digestive health, maintain blood sugar levels, etc. In Malang, chili prices fluctuate, so the price of chili is difficult to predict. This makes the government worried in maintaining the stabilization of chili prices so that they remain affordable and the chili price inflation in Malang City will be good. In this research, several prediction processes were carried out, including, consisting of pre-processing, data normalization, training and prediction using the Long Short-Term Memory method, and error results using the Mean Square Error (MSE). Based on the tests that have been done using daily data on cayenne pepper prices from January 1 2021 to July 31 2022 in Malang City using the Long Short-Term Memory method, the smallest MSE result is 0.0155 with a proportion of training data and testing data of 70%; 30%, with 21 sequence data, 128 hidden units and 150 epochs.

Abstract

The shift in consumer spending to digital has also fueled the growth of online businesses, one of which is online resellers. It is clear from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) that in 2020 there are 2.36 million companies engaged in e-commerce across the country. Of these, 1.77 million companies (75.15%) are located in Java. Evermos is a platform that connects brands and retailers to sell the best authentic Indonesian products. Therefore, the researchers evaluated the user experience aspects using the meCUE survey method on the Evermos app to identify which apps need improvement from a user experience perspective. The purpose of testing with the MeCUE questionnaire is to find out the advantages and disadvantages of the application under study. The MeCUE study is divided into 4 modules, each discussing product attributes (usefulness, usability, visual aesthetic, status, commitment), user sentiment (positive and negative), and consequences (product loyalty and intention to use), the last one concerns general evaluation product. The EVERMOS application evaluation results for all modules 1 to 4 of the EVERMOS application get the best usability rating or 80. The lowest test score is an indicator of negative emotions, which is 2.00. The results that can be used as a comparison when repairing applications are found in module IV, namely the Intention to Use indicator which gets a value of 3.00. This shows that this application is less attractive among users to use it every day.

Abstract

Coronavirus (COVID-19) has become global health problem that entered Indonesia since March 2020. This is an infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2. The government through the Indonesian Ministry of Health released PeduliLindungi application as an effort to deal with COVID-19. In the early stage PeduliLindungi tend to be voluntary application, but after being regulated through the Minister of Domestic Affairs Instruction Number 38 and 40 of 2021 which regulates community activities restrictions enforcement in Indonesia, PeduliLindungi became mandatory for Indonesian. This study aims to determine the long-term experience of users in using mandatory Android-based PeduliLindungi application, whether the user experience at the beginning who is forced to use the application can change for the better. Respondents involved in this study were 12 people. Each respondent will be asked to draw the 5 dimensions of the UX Curve, there are general UX, attractiveness, ease of use, utility and degree of usage. This study produced 60 curves from 12 respondents. At the end of the research, user experience did increasing with 45 out of 60 curves showing an improving trend, but 8 out of 12 respondents had not shown an impression of liking and recommend the use of the application to others.

Abstract

Plagiarism is an academic violation that is quite serious so that the process of examining plagiarism is one of the prerequisites that must be carried out by academics in making a scientific paper including thesis. Advances in information technology make manual plagiarism checks increasingly difficult. Therefore, technological assistance that uses artificial intelligence is needed to be able to get comprehensive plagiarism analysis results. Turnitin is a software that uses artificial intelligence to detect plagiarism which is very popular and widely used by various institutions around the world. In the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya, there is a policy that regulates the use of Turnitin to examine student thesis where supervisors play an important role in this policy. Therefore, a study was conducted to analyze lecturers' perceptions of the policy of using turnitin to detect student thesis plagiarism using qualitative methods. In the data collection process, semi-structured interviews were conducted involving 7 thesis supervisors as resource persons. The qualitative data that has been obtained from the interview process is then processed using the thematic analysis method with the help of NVivo software. From the analysis process, two main themes were found, namely the theme of the lecturer's perception of the use of Turnitin with 5 categories and 15 codes and the theme of the lecturer's perception of the policy of using Turntin with 3 categories and 15 codes.

Abstract

The development of Internet of Things (IoT) systems using container technology has several problems, such as difficulty in managing and updating deployed applications, and difficulty in managing dynamically changing system configurations. To solve these problems, a development method is needed that can help manage and update IoT system applications using container technology. This method is called the Development Life Cycle Over the Air (DLCOTA). DLCOTA is a development method that allows the automatic and controlled deployment, update, and rollback of IoT system applications through the internet. The design of the Development Cycle for the IoT system using the Development Life Cycle Over The Air (DLCOTA) method adapts the software development method of Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery is a system that uses automation techniques to speed up and simplify the development process of the Internet of Things (IoT) system. Automation of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) is a method that can be used to improve the efficiency and reliability of IoT system development. The result of the DLCOTA design is a system that is able to perform the automatic and controlled deployment, update, and rollback of IoT system applications through the internet. This system is also able to manage dynamically changing system configurations and improve system reliability and security. Abstract

Daphnia are a good natural food source for freshwater fish larvae or fry. Daphnia sp. had a protein content ranging from 42-54%, a fat content ranging from 6.5-8% of dry weight, and linoleic and linolenic fatty acids ranging from 7.5 and 6.7%, respectively. Testing the quality of the water where Daphnia lives is something that needs to be considered so that the Daphnia product is good. Water quality parameters that need to be monitored are, for example, temperature and pH. Therefore, research is needed that can facilitate testing the quality of Daphnia culture water. Namely the Daphnia culture water quality test system. The method used is fuzzy sugeno to determine the value of water quality based on the parameter values given by the ds18b20 temperature sensor and 4502c ph sensor. The test produced by the ds18b20 temperature sensor has an average error value of 0.88%. by comparing 9 samples, three of cold water, three of normal water, and three of hot water, to a digital thermometer. For testing the ph sensor has an average error result of 9.5%. By testing using 5 different types of water, namely: well water, pond water, pH buffer 4 water, pH buffer 7 water, and pH buffer 9 water compared to digital pH. Testing the fuzzy method produces an average error value of 2,89%.

Abstract

A wireless mesh network is a network,consisting of,a collection of wireless nodes that are connected to each other and then form a distributed network. Advantages of,wireless mesh network itself, namely in terms of flexibility, scalability and robustness, it is better than other conventional wireless networks. Characteristics Wireless mesh network It is also different from other ad hoc networks, which can be seen from the multi-hoop system, which can make connectivity capabilities in the network faster. In a plural environment, the connection is usually very constrained due to various factors such as trees, fog, and geographical conditions. In the research that has been done, the results show that the OLSR routing protocol has the best results for use on wireless mesh networks compared to other routing protocols on throughput and delay parameters. This research discusses the effect of constant and variable package delivery on a wireless mesh network using the OLSR routing protocol. The test scenario is carried out by changing the number of active nodes, namely 30, 25, 20, 15, 10, and 5, with QoS testing parameters including throughput, end-to-end delay, and packet loss. The best results of the throughput test were obtained from constant packet delivery in the scenario of 15 nodes with 206.43 kbps, which means it has a bad category, so there must be a limit on bandwidth to maintain the performance of the wireless mesh network. The best end-to-end delay test results were obtained for constant packet delivery in the five node scenario with 11867 ms, which means it has a bad category and will affect the performance of a wireless mesh network. The best test results for packet loss obtained from variable packet delivery in the scenario of 10 nodes were 63.466%, which means it has a bad category and affects the performance of the wireless mesh network because too much data is wasted.

Abstract

The Regional Secretariat of the Regional Welfare Office of Tuban Regency is the office that processes the submission of grants and incentives proposals, and other proposals. According to the results of interviews conducted by researchers with one of the Welfare employees, the Welfare office manages 1,312 institutions, 11,200 teachers, and 154,000 students, and processing reports can take 7 to 14 working days. In addition to the length of processing reports, there are often mismatched or unspecified addresses that make it difficult for Welfare employees to come to the TPQ. Based on these problems, a mobile application for verification and submission of an TPQ proposal based on Android was developed. This app uses GPS, camera, and Firebase functionality to make it easier to submit proposals. GPS is used to find out the exact point of the location of the TPQ or proposed event. Cameras are used to capture image of ongoing events. Firebase is used to store data that has been inputted. From the results of black box testing, it is known that the validity value of the functionality of this application is 100%. Then from the results of the efficiency of this application, it is known that the longest difference between the examiner and the researcher is 22.5 seconds. In usability testing this application gets a success rate of 96.29% for admins and 100% for institutions, when the usability test is calculated using the System Usability Scale (SUS) this application gets a score of 86.94 for admins and 89.26 for institutions, both scores are acceptable. in the acceptability ranges category, also get grade B, if using adjective ratings and will enter the Excellent category.
