Abstract

Covid-19 disease is a contagious disease, so it is necessary to avoid direct contact between humans to minimize exposure to this virus. Examination to the hospital can allow people to be exposed to the Covid-19 virus because direct contact with some people is still carried out in an invasive way. So research is needed to detect the symptoms of Covid-19 non-invasively and does not require a lot of money and time. In this study the detection of body temperature used the MLX90614 sensor by facing the hand towards the front of the sensor so that the body temperature value was obtained. To detect oxygen levels using the MAX30100 sensor by placing your index finger on the sensor then waiting until the oxygen level value is obtained. The two values ​​from the sensor readings will be classified using the K-NN method. The output will be displayed on the LCD in the form of sensor measuring value text and classification results. The test results in this study obtained the accuracy of the sensors used. For measuring body temperature using the MLX90614 sensor, an accuracy of 99.56% was obtained, then for measuring oxygen levels using the MAX30100 sensor, an accuracy of 98.77% was obtained. In the classification test, it is determined by three distances k, namely k=3, k=5, and k=7, where k=3 gets an accuracy of 100%, k=5 gets an accuracy of 90%, and k=7 gets an accuracy of 80%. and from this classification, the average computation time is 2.38 ms.

Abstract

One of the main elements of technological development in the trading business is inventory, which requires special attention. The inventory of goods is an element of the trade sector that needs to be fulfilled. The progress and success of a business venture are influenced by the supply of goods that can meet customer needs. The problem of inventory is one of the problems that occurs in an electronic component store called the Gokasi store. The purpose of this research is to make a transaction application and collect goods data to solve problems at a shop called Gokasi. This study uses the waterfall method. In the needs analysis, there are 14 functional and 2 non-functional requirements. The design stage includes the design of activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, pseudocode, class diagrams, databases, and interfaces. The database implementation and 10 interface views are then produced during the implementation stage. The testing process produces 100% valid black-box and compatibility results. Usability testing using SUS resulted in a score of 89.16, which is included in grade B with excellent adjective ratings.

Abstract

Technology has become a basic human need, especially in various fields of life, especially in the field of education. One form of technology application in education is chatbots. So far, the application of chatbots in the education sector is still lacking due to ineffective academic services. So, a web-based academic service chatbot will be designed with a focus on the interaction between chatbots and humans who can help academic services in serving students and prospective students about academic services in UB Philosophy. The chatbot was designed using Tidio tools and using the Human Centered Design (HCD) method. The stages in HCD consist of understanding and specifying the usability context, analyzing user needs, creating solution designs, and evaluating solution designs. At the solution design evaluation stage, usability testing is carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) to test aspects of effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction with the design solutions that have been made. Based on the test results, the effectiveness test obtained a value of 100%, an efficiency value of 100%, and a user satisfaction value obtained through the results of the SUS questionnaire of 78.7%. After doing the calculations, we get a usability level of 92.9%. Based on this level of usability, it shows that the results of the chatbot design have reached the very good category. Based on the level of satisfaction achieved and the opinions on the positive aspects given by the participants during the test, it was concluded that the identified needs have been met.

Abstract

Public Relations of the University of Mataram is a part under the auspices of the University of Mataram which aims to become a center for information, publications and documentation. Mataram University Public Relations has 4 business processes including, information management processes, documentation management processes, regional keprotokan activity organizers, and administration administrators. While undergoing the business process, Public Relations of the University of Mataram still encounters various obstacles such as the difficulty of communication in the data collection process and difficulties in knowing the status of news. The hope of the Head of Public Relations at the University of Mataram is that by taking into account the assistance and utilization of the information system provided, existing business processes can run more efficiently in the future. From the problems that have been described, an analysis and improvement of the business process of information management is carried out. The analytical method used is Business Process Improvement (BPI), then the results of the analysis and evaluation will then be simulated on the business process. After conducting a simulation of information management business processes, it showed that there was a reduction in the total time for the business process being executed, namely the information management business process by 1060 minutes to 856 minutes. So it can be concluded that the time needed to carry out the recommendation business process is more efficient than the current business process at Mataram University Public Relations.

Abstract

TSES (Thursina Smart Education System) is an academic service information system owned by the Thursina IIBS Malang Islamic boarding school to facilitate the learning process. Thursina IIBS Malang Islamic boarding school is one of the modern Islamic boarding schools in Malang, where this Islamic boarding school follows and implements technological developments that occur, one of which is through the TSES system (Thursina Smart Education System). Since the initial release, in 2019, there has been no research on usability evaluation of TSES (Thursina Smart Education System). This condition allows usability problems that are not yet known. Given the function of TSES as a support for learning activities at the Thursina IIBS Malang Islamic boarding school, evaluation is needed to analyze the level of usability and measure the success of using information systems. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the performance and problems of the TSES learning system. The expected results of this study are to be able to provide recommendations for the development of the TSES Thursina IIBS Malang. The redesign method used is Human Centered design with reference to the HHS Usability Guidelines, as well as the System Usability Scale (SUS) and usability testing evaluation method. Improvements based on the results of interviews and usability testing in the form of adding a forgotten password feature, a password change feature, a search feature, an excel import feature, changes to the existing navigation system and content layout. The evaluation results show that the average value of the learnability aspect of teachers and students is 96%, the average efficiency aspect of teachers and students is 94.5%, the average aspect of memorability of teachers and students is 35.5 clicks with 112.4 seconds, the average -the average error aspect of teachers and students is 2% and the results obtained for the satisfaction aspect are 84.13. Based on the research results, it was found that the solution design developed based on the evaluation results of the TSES was well received.

Abstract

Corona Virus is a single stranded RNA virus that can infect human dan a few animal. X-ray Imaging can be one of the few way to check or monitor lungs condition such in the case of tuberculosis, pneumonia, and hernia. Combining X-ray Imaging with deep learning can be one of the solution to the covid-19 detection problem. Vision Tranformer is an architecture that inspired by transformer which is state of the art in the natural language processing realm. One of the few public dataset that contain x-ray image is covidX. CovidX can be breakdown into 3 classes which is pneumonia, covid-19, and normal with as few as 30,530 x-ray image available.the Dataset will processed with data augmentation gaussian blur and colorjitter. The vision transformer that will be used in this experiment is base, large, and huge. This architecture will be used with transfer learning and data augmentation. This experiment will use 40 Epoch, stochastic gradient descent Optimizer, WarmupCosine Scheduler, and Cross Entropy loss function. This experiment will test the effect of transfer learning toward accuracy, the effect of data augmentation toward accuracy, and then will be compared to other architecture. The best accuracy from this experiment is achieved by ResNet50 with transfer learning that achieve accuracy as high as 0.9617006 with validation data and 0.9548872 in test data. Based on this result, the model is overfitting.

Abstract

Brawijaya University's Center for Disability Services (PLD UB) is an organization in Universitas Brawijaya that is focused in providing academic and non-academic services to students with disabilities in Universitas Brawijaya. One of their services is Selection for Student Candidates with Disabilities (SMPD) that is held periodically, once a year. There are processes that can still can be improved upon. Therefore, designing business process architecture is done to help PLD UB in evaluating SMPD so they can provide better services. In this undergrad thesis, Business Process Management framework is used to design the business process models, and is conducted up to the business process analysis. In identifying the core business process, researcher did an interview with SMPD committees and discovered six core business processes, which are SMPD announcement publishing, enrollment, personal data submission, administration selection, psychological test and general knowledge selection, and interview selection. All six processes then modeled into six business process models using Business Process Modeling Notation, abbreviated as BPMN. And on the analysis process, Root Cause Analysis with Why-why Diagram is used on each business processes. After analysis is conducted, there are total of twelve issues that emerges from all six business processes which, most of them, are related to efficiency of technical aspects in SMPD.

Abstract

Peanuts (Arachis hypogaea) are a food crop consumed by the Indonesian people. The demand for peanuts has steadily increased to 900,000 tons, with an average annual production of 783,110 tons, or approximately 87.01%. In 2018, the value of Indonesian peanut production fell in comparison to previous years. According to the Central Statistics Agency (2018), Indonesia produced 512,198 tons of peanuts in 2018, a decrease from 638,896 tons the previous year. Several factors contribute to Indonesia's low peanut production. Pathogens such as fungi, bacteria, and nematodes attack one of them. The availability of software to assist farmers in diagnosing peanut plant diseases will be extremely beneficial in overcoming peanut crop failure caused by peanut plant disease attacks. The MKNN Modified K-Nearest Neighbor method was used in this classification of peanut plant diseases. The Modified K-Nearest Neighbor (MK-NN) method can be used to classify peanut plant diseases using two types of tests: testing the effect of the amount of training data on accuracy and testing the effect of the K value on accuracy, with 30 test data. This system is designed to assist farmers in determining the disease of peanut plants in peanut crop failures caused by attacks. System To classify with a 97% accuracy rate.

Abstract

Sampoerna Furniture is one of the shops that engaged in the furniture sector that located in Probolinggo which provides various kinds of furniture products. This store still uses traditional management methods for all of their business processes. This causes the range of stores to be limited only in that city. Sales record are still done manually in the book. The problem is the data record is not neat which can cause problems on data recap and can also make it difficult for the owner to get accurate sales reports. Then there is also the problem of documentation on stock items. Because to solve this problem the researchers built a store management system with the waterfall development method and used the ReactJs, NodeJs and MySQL as programming languages. The process of elicitation and analysis has been carried out and resulted in 2 actors with 20 functional and 1 non-functional. Validation testing also used in this study to test the results of the suitability of the implementation with the design.
