Union: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Matematika is a peer-reviewed open access journal published three times in a year (March, July, and November). Union: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Matematika provides a forum for lecturers, academicians, researchers, practitioners, and students to deliver and share knowledge in the form of empirical and theoretical research articles. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities at SMA Negeri 8 Palembang. This research method is a Quasi-experimental method with a Posttest-Only Control Design research design. The subjects in this study were students of class XI MIA 1 and XI MIA 2, SMA Negeri 8 Palembang, totaling 64 students. The instrument used in this study was a test of problem solving ability. Analysis of the data used in this study is the t test. The results showed that there was a positive influence on the application of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model to students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran Concise Learning Method (CLM) berbantuan concept mapping, dan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep aljabar mahasiswa setelah pelaksanaannnya. Deskriptif kualitatif merupakan jenis penelitian ini, sedangkan mahasiswa pendidikan matematika Unipdu Jombang yang memprogram aljabar linier elementer II adalah subjek dalam penelitian. Lembar observasi dan soal tes pemahaman konsep merupakan alat untuk mengumpulkan data. Data dalam penelitian ini meliputi deskripsi hasil pengamatan terhadap keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan deskripsi hasil tes pemahaman konsep matematis mahasiswa. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan interactive model. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa (1) Tahapan pembelajaran CLM berbantuan concept mapping meliputi mempelajari terlebih dahulu materi perkuliahan, berartisipasi aktif dalam perkuliahan, memproses informasi dalam bentuk concept mapping, mengerjakan latihan soal, dan menghasilkan ide baru, (2) kemampuan pemahaman konsep aljabar mahasiswa untuk setiap indikatornya mengalami peningkatan.  ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to describe Concise Learning Method (CLM) assisted with concept mapping and to increase the ability of students to understand algebraic concepts after the implementation. Qualitative descriptive is the type of this research, while the mathematics education students of Unipdu Jombang who program elementary linear algebra II are the subjects in the study. Observation sheets and concept understanding test questions are instruments used to collect data. Data ini this research consisted of a description of the observation of the implementation of learning and a description of the results of tests of students’ understanding of mathematical concepts. The data is then processed using interactive models. The results showed that (1) CLM learning stages assisted with concept mapping include previewing literature material, actively participating in lectures, processing information in the form of concept mapping, doing practice exercise, and produce new ideas, (2) the ability to understand student algebraic concepts for each indicator increased.

This research aims to determine the relation between motivation, learning independence and students’ perception of mathematics with the learning achievements of grade X of Vocational High School in Umbulharjo district both jointly and independently. The study was conducted at Vocational School in Umbulharjo district using the ex post facto method. A sample of 122 was taken by cluster random sampling. Data collection using questionnaire and test techniques. data analysis techniques used multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the study showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between motivation, learning independence and students’ perception of mathematics with students’ achievement both jointly and independently. This can be seen from the sig value of each motivational variable by 0.005 < 0.05, learning independence by 0.000 < 0.05 and students’ perception of mathematics by 0.002 < 0.05.

This study aims to describe the process of applying the Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) cooperative learning model as an effort to improve the activeness and learning outcomes of students in class VIII B, SMP N 3 Banguntapan. This type of research is Classroom Action Research which consists of two cycles, each of which consists of 4 stages, namely (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII B, SMP N 3 Banguntapan, with a total of 30 students. Data collection techniques used were observation techniques, documentation techniques, and test techniques. The results showed an increase in each indicator of student activity. In the first cycle, the value of the percentage of student activity 57.916% increased in the second cycle to 79.578%. While the average student mathematics learning outcomes increased from 44.83 in the pre cycle to 70.6 in the first cycle then the second cycle increased to 79.4.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD (Student Teams Achievment Division) terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu, dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas X SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta dan sampel penelitian kelas X TSM1 sebanyak 20 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X TSM2 sebanyak 21 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan simple random sampling.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes. Tes yang dimaksud adalah tes kemampuan awal siswa dan tes hasil belajar matematika siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD (Student Teams Achievment Division) lebih efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa di SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta. ABSTRACTThis study aims to find out which is more effective between the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) cooperative learning model and the direct learning model on student mathematics learning outcomes of class X in SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta. This type of research is quasi-experimental, with a population of all students of class X SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta and the sample of class X TSM1 as many as 20 students as an experimental class and class X TSM2 of 21 students as a control class. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. Data collection techniques using test techniques. The test is a student's initial ability test and a student's mathematics learning achievement test. Analysis of the data used in this study is the t test. The results showed that the mathematics learning using the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model is more effectively applied in learning than the direct learning model of student mathematics learning outcomes in SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta.

ABSTRAK Model pembelajaran “Mating†adalah model pembelajaran Matematika-Bahasa Inggris yang menggunakan sintaks model pembelajaran RME. Pembelajaran ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dan Bahasa Inggris siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) model Borg and Gall. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa di Sekolah Dasar perbatasan Entikong (Indonesia-Malaysia) setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran “Matingâ€. Adapun hasil uji coba kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dan kemampuan Bahasa Inggris siswa setelah proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran “Mating†pada kelompok kecil mengalami peningkatan sebesar 30%, sedangkan pada uji coba kelompok besar tersebut meningkat sebesar 51,785%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah Matematika dan Bahasa Inggris siswa kelas III SDN No.12 Entikong dapat ditingkatkan dengan penerapan model pembelajaran “Matingâ€.  ABSTRACT Mating learning model is a learning model of Mathematic and English used RME learning model syntax. This learning can increase the ability of Mathematic problem solving and English. The research used a research and development method (R&D) by Borg and Gall method. The result of this research shows that there is an increase of the problem solving and Mathematic-English ability of elementary student in border area-Entikong (Indonesia-Malaysia) after applying this “Mating†method. While, trial test result of Mathematic problem solving and English in a small group after applying this method increases to 30%, whereas, the trial test result in a big group increases to 51,785%. So that, it concludes that the ability of Mathematic problem solving and English in the third grade student of public elementary school number 12 Entikong can be developed by learning model “Matingâ€.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah peningkatan dan pencapaian kemampuan literasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning lebih baik daripada peningkatan dan pencapaian kemampuan literasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional, serta untuk mengetahui bagaimana sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran yang menggunakan model Problem Based Learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII A dan VIII B MTs Salsabiila Zainia Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020 yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes dan non tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan dan pencapaian kemampuan literasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning lebih baik daripada peningkatan dan pencapaian kemampuan literasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional, serta sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran yang menggunakan model Problem Based Learning positif ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether improvement and the achievement of the literacy skills of mathematical students using learning model of Problem Based Learning is better than the improvement and the achievement of the literacy skills of mathematical students who use conventional learning models, as well as to determine how student attitudes to learning using the model of Problem Based Learning. The research method used  Quasi-Experimental. This research design using Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample is students of class VIII A and VIII B Salsabiila Zainia Junior High School 2019/2020 period. Selected with a purposive sampling technique. Experimental class using learning model Problem Based Learning and control class using conventional learning models. The instrument test and non-test. The result of the research shows that increasing and achievement of literacy mathematics students are using a model of learning Problem Based Learning better than an increase in and achievement of literacy mathematics student are using the conventional learning, as well as the attitude of the students to use positive learning model of Problem Based Learning.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan pada kemampuan komunikasi matematika mahasiswa yang masih rendah, mahasiswa cenderung mengalami kesulitan dalam mengkomunikasikan persoalan matematika dalam bentuk essay atau soal cerita ke dalam bentuk kalimat matematika sehingga mahasiswa cenderung tidak bisa menyelesaikan soal tersebut. Solusi dalam permasalahan ini bisa dilakukan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran yang tepat, model pembelajaran Situation Based Learning menjadi solusi yang dilakukan peneliti untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematika karena model ini menekankan pada proses pembelajaran yang membuat mahasiswa belajar dengan cara berpikir berdasarkan situasi atau kondisi dari soal yang diberikan. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester 6 program studi pendidikan matematika Universitas Indraprasta PGRI Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa kelas R5C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas R5D sebagai kelas kontrol yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling berjumlah 50 mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrument tes berupa soal essay berjumlah 10 soal yang telah melalui tahap validasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t. Penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran Situation based learning terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematika. ABSTRACTCommunicating mathematical problems in the form of essays or story problems into mathematical sentence form so that students tend not to be able to solve these problems. The solution to this problem can be done by applying the right learning model, the Situation-Based Learning model becomes the solution made by researchers to improve mathematical communication skills because this model emphasizes the learning process that makes students learn by thinking based on the situation or condition of the given problem. The population of this study was all 5-semester students of the Mathematics Education Indraprasta University PGRI University Academic Year 2019/2020. The sample of this study was R5C class students as an experimental class and R5D class as a control class selected by a simple random sampling technique totaling 50 students. The instrument used in this study was a test instrument in the form of essay questions totaling 10 questions that had passed the validation stage. Analysis of the data in this study used the t-test. Research shows that there is a significant influence on the application of the Situation based learning model to mathematical communication skills.

ABSTRAKHasil akhir penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan Pembelajaran Virtual Menggunakan Aplikasi Zoom terhadap hasil belajar statistik pendidikan mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) Semester VI Institut Agama Islam Negeri Sorong tahun Akademik 2019/2020 genap. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian preexperimental dengan desain the one shot case study design. Populasi penelitan mencakup seluruh mahasiswa semester VI Fakultas Tarbiyah kelas PGMI VIA sebagai sampel acak. data peningkatan pembelajaran virtual diperoleh dengan lembar angket dan data hasil belajar digunakan hasil tes belajar dengan memberikan lembar soal test, uji one simple t test digunakan untuk melihat keefektifan model pembelajaran secara virtual, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran statistik pendidikan menggunakan pembelajaran secara virtual efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa di masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini sangat berguna untuk mengetahui model- model pembelajaran yang tepat digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Statistik Pendidikan dalam pembelajaran dimasa pandemi covid-19. ABSTRACTThe final result of this research is to describe the effectiveness of virtual learning through Zoom on the learning outcomes of student Educational Statistics in the sixth semester Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (PGMI) Sorong State Islamic Institute for the academic year 2019/2020. This research is pre-experimental research with a one-shot case study design. The study population included all sixth-semester students Tarbiyah Faculty, PGMI VIA class as a random sample. The virtual learning enhancement data is obtained by using a questionnaire sheet and learning outcome data is obtained by providing test question sheets, one-sample t-test is used to see the effectiveness of the learning model virtually. The results showed that studying Educational Statistics using virtual learning effectively improves students learning outcomes during the covid-19 pandemic. This research is very useful to find out the appropriate learning models used to improve learning outcomes in Educational Statistics learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

ABSTRAK Hasil PISA menyatakan bahwa siswa Indonesia memiliki kemampuan literasi yang rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh realistic mathematics education terhadap kemampuan literasi matematika siswa kelas II SD Hang Tuah 10 Juanda. Terdapat pengaruh apabila rata-rata kemampuan literasi matematika siswa kelas eksperimen yang diajar dengan model RME lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol yang diajar menggunakan model TPS. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan tipe quasi eksperimental design tipe Posttest-Only. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II SD Hang Tuah 10 Juanda. Sampel diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas II-D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan II-E sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, dan teknik dokumentasi. Lembar observasi dan tes soal cerita adalah alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sedangkan untuk tes analisis data digunakan SPSS 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh realistic mathematics education terhadap kemampuan literasi matematika siswa kelas II SD Hang Tuah 10 Juanda. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata kemampuan literasi matematika siswa kelas eksperimen yang diajar dengan model RME lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol yang diajar dengan model TPS. ABSTRACTPISA results state that Indonesian students have low literacy skills. The purpose of this study was to see whether there was a realistic mathematics education effect on the mathematics literacy skills of the second grade students of SD Hang Tuah 10 Juanda. The existence of the environment, the average mathematical literacy ability of the experimental class students who were taught with the RME model was better in accordance with the control class using the TPS model. This type of research used in this research is quantitative research with a quasi experimental design type Posttest-Only. The population in this study were students of class II SD Hang Tuah 10 Juanda. The sample was taken using cluster random sampling technique in order to obtain class II-D as the experimental class and II-E as the control class. The data techniques used were tests, observation, and documentation techniques. The observation sheet and story test were data aids used in this study, while the data analysis test used SPSS 22. The results showed that there was an effect of realistic mathematics education on the mathematics literacy skills of grade II students of SD Hang Tuah 10 Juanda. This is indicated by the ability of the experimental class students' average mathematical literacy taught with the RME model better than the control class taught with the TPS model.
