Abstract

The goal of this research is to develop valid and feasible Nearpod-based circulation system teaching materials. This research method uses the ADDIE development model, which includes stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research was conducted from July 2022 to June 2023. The teaching materials were tested for feasibility in material, media, and language and tested by Biology teachers and students of SMAN 14 Jakarta. The feasibility test results showed that Nearpod-based circulation system teaching materials had an average score of 3.65 (very valid) on the material aspect, 3.89 (very valid) on the media aspect, and 3.53 (very valid) on the language aspect. In Biology, the teacher trial obtained a mean value of 3.51 and an average of 3.31 for the student trials. This shows that Circulapod teaching materials are very valid and feasible to be used as learning media for circulatory systems learning in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the success of managing the teacher mobilization program in remote areas in improving the quality of education in Mappi District. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data were collected using interviews, documentation studies, and observation. Data validation was carried out using technical triangulation and source triangulation. The data analysis technique used refers to the Miles and Hurben model, which includes four stages, namely: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data display, and (4) conclusion. The results of this study are that the implementation of the teacher mobilization program in remote areas based on research has gone quite well; in this case, the GPDT qualification target is still not by the initial plan based on the report on recruitment activities made by the UGM Papua Task Force; there are still many teachers who are placed not by the qualifications of the majors of teacher expertise. It was concluded that the program's success in improving the quality of education was effective in producing quality graduates in quantity, which increased every year, and the HDI and GPA/IPM scores increased every year from 2016 to 2021.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of cooperative learning on suburban students’ motivation. This study used an experimental approach by comparing the effectiveness of cooperative learning in the experimental group with traditional learning in the control group. The research began by carefully identifying schools in a developing industrial area in Cerme, Gresik City, Indonesia. Data collection was carried out carefully through documentation techniques, including taking various documents and records directly related to student learning motivation. This research group featured 224 high school students divided into two equal groups: 146 students in the experimental group and 145 students in the contr with traditional learning. The data were analyzed using the t-test as an analytical tool to measure and establish the statistical significance of the differences between these two groups of students. The research results clearly show the positive impact of cooperative learning on student motivation, as shown by the p-value of 0.014. In light of these important findings, future research directions have been carefully outlined to include in-depth and longitudinal investigations of motivational sustainability within cooperative learning frameworks, exploration of the potential for cultural variation, refinement of teacher training methodologies, integration of modern educational technologies, and development of parental involvement initiatives and innovative. Cooperative learning can increase student motivation and enrich and stimulate academic environments.

Abstract

Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) is one of the educational policy innovations. As a program, MBKM is designed to achieve certain goals, including matching students' abilities with the market (industry) and the beneficiary (student) 's satisfaction with the program. This study aims to measure the index of student satisfaction with implementing MBKM. The measurement process uses an evaluation study framework by the Kementerian Pendayagunaan Aparatur regarding excellent service. This research used a descriptive quantitative analysis approach, interviewing 349 respondents from all faculties at Tanjungpura University. This number was obtained from the final result of the number of indicators multiplied by five, then multiplied by the number of faculties. There are nine variables (indicators) measured in this study. The study's results stated that the average value of the student satisfaction index was 3,923, with a percentage of 78,458. This value is included in the "satisfactory" category and B predicate. This shows that students as beneficiaries are fairly satisfied with the MBKM program at UniversitasTanjungpura.

Abstract

The research is attracted by students’ motivation to participate in learning. They only like using printed book materials and worksheets in schools through reading assignments and doing exercises in the book. It is developed by Discovery Learning-based e-modules in integrated thematic learning. It applies the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques use interview lists, validation sheets, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use descriptive techniques to describe validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results showed that from the E-module feasibility test, the lecturers were subject matter experts, language expert lecturers, media/design expert lecturers, and one teacher. Based on the validation of material experts, it is obtained an average total score of 97% or classified as very valid. Then, the next validation shows valid criteria with an average score of 100% linguists. Design validation obtained a total average score of 95%, 94%, and an average score of 80%. One teacher tested the practicality of the E-module with a score of 98%. The student response test conducted on 13 grade IV students obtained a value with a proportion of 97%. E-modules in Discovery Learning-based thematic learning include features that are very practical or very feasible to use.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and interpret forms of interreligious rituals in primary schools. Researchers also look at children's religious expressions in practicing interreligious rituals and their contribution as learning resources in building a sense of togetherness in schools. This study uses a qualitative-phenomenological approach with data collection interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that children's religious rituals were taught in and outside the classroom. They practice with teachers of the same religion in class, but outside the classroom, they practice with students of other religions as spectators. Therefore, religious rituals that can be communicated socially are celebrated. Interreligious rituals do not make children and parents experience theological fear but can become a source of learning to recognize and respect other religious rituals. The ritual expression is an expression of harmony and togetherness because they can cooperate in celebrating their respective religious rituals.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of using wordwall gamification media on enhancing educational achievements. The research strategy used in this study was the One-Group pretest-posttest design. The participants consisted of 43 students enrolled in the Chemistry C Education program at Yogyakarta State University, taking the Pancasila Education course. The data collected from the study were analyzed using descriptive statistics. According to the findings of inferential statistical analysis using the t-test method, there was a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes, with a mean gain of 12.31 score points. Given that the t count is statistically significant at a significance level of 0.05, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected in favor of 3400 of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). This implies a discernible impact of using wordwall gamification media on enhancing learning outcomes. Based on the findings and deliberations, it can be deduced that the utilization of Wordwall media in the context of gamified learning exhibits efficacy in enhancing the educational achievements of 43 participants enrolled in the C Chemical Education program, namely those doing Pancasila Education courses at Yogyakarta State University.

Abstract

Recently, cases of bullying in the education sector have become increasingly prevalent in Indonesia. Bullying cannot be taken lightly as the emotional scars of infliction can damage a child's mental health, and it is not uncommon for victims of bullying to become bullies themselves in the future. This study aims to describe the correlating factors aligned with the bullying of elementary students in Sumenep Regency. Two hundred eighty-eight elementary school students from 14 schools participated in this research, and the data was analyzed using bivariate tests. The results of this study indicate that 68.1% of the respondents reported experiencing direct bullying, with 50% of those being boys. Additionally, 128 male students (44.4%) were reported as bullies. There is no significant relationship between gender and the experience of being bullied; every child has the potential to become a victim or perpetrator of bullying at school. Bullying is also closely related to academic achievement. The study does not expose any relationship between the experience of being bullied and the living situation of the students. Students feel sad and lacking in confidence when they are bullied, and they have tried to report this to relevant parties such as parents or teachers. However, the culture in Sumenep still considers bullying to be a common occurrence among children. Therefore, all parties must work together in addressing bullying, given the significant psychological impact it can have on children.
