Abstract

The results of a study in Leuwigajah, Cimahi City on the habit of taking iron tablets among female high school students showed that they sometimes only took a small portion of the iron tablets because of nausea and decreased appetite. Therefore, a study was needed that aims to analyze the correlation between the habit of taking iron tablets and the incidence of anemia, in preparation for becoming a mother. This study applied a cross-sectional design involving 202 female high school students in grade 12 in Leuwigajah, South Cimahi. Cimahi City, selected using the stratified random sampling technique. The habit of taking iron tablets was measured by filling out a questionnaire, while the incidence of anemia was measured by taking capillary blood. Furthermore, a correlation analysis was carried out between the two variables using the Chi-square test. The results of the analysis showed a p value of 0.064, so it could be interpreted that there is no significant correlation between the habit of taking iron tablets and the incidence of anemia. It was concluded that the habit of taking iron tablets is not a significant determinant of the incidence of anemia in female adolescents in Leuwigajah, South Cimahi. Cimahi City.Keywords: female adolescents; anemia; iron tablets ABSTRAK Hasil studi di Leuwigajah, Kota Cimahi tentang kebiasaan meminum tablet tambah darah para siswi SMA menunjukkan bahwa mereka kadang-kadang hanya meminum sebagian kecil tablet tambah darah karena timbulnya rasa mual dan berdampak pada penurunan nafsu makan. Oleh karena itu diperlukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis korelasi antara kebiasaan minum tablet tambah darah dengan kejadian anemia, dalam rangka persiapan menjadi ibu. Penelitian ini menerapkan rancangan cross-sectional yang melibatkan 202 siswi SMA kelas 12 di Leuwigajah, Cimahi Selatan. Kota Cimahi, yang dipilih dengan teknik stratified random sampling. Kebiasaan minum tablet tambah darah diukur melalui pengisian kuesioner, sedangkan kejadian anemia diukur dengan pengambilan darah kapiler. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis korelasi antara kedua variabel menggunakan uji Chi-square. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai p yaitu 0,064, sehingga bisa diinterpretasikan bahwa tidak ada korelasi secara signifikan antara kebiasaan minum tablet tambah darah dengan kejadian anemia. Disimpulkan bahwa kebiasaan minum tablet tambah darah bukan merupakan determinan yang signifikan dari kejadian anemia pada remaja putri di Leuwigajah, Cimahi Selatan. Abstract

Hospitals are obliged to provide various facilities needed to maintain medical records. Storage of medical records needs to be supported by appropriate facilities and infrastructure and a supportive work environment so that the security of medical records is well maintained and does not threaten the work safety and health of the personnel concerned. So research was needed which aimed to describe work safety and security of medical record documents based on physical aspects of the work environment including temperature, humidity and lighting in the filing room at Nganjuk Hospital. This research was a descriptive study. The variables studied were temperature, humidity and lighting in the filing room. After measurements were taken, the data is then analyzed descriptively. The analysis results showed that the temperature of filing room 1 = 30.8 °C, filing room 2 = 31.65 °C, and filing room 3 = 31.75 °C. Humidity measurement results in filing room 1 = 63.5%, filing room 2 = 61.5%, and filing room 3 = 62%. Temperature and humidity that do not comply with these standards can be a risk factor for the occupational health and safety of officers as well as the risk of damage to medical record documents. Meanwhile, the lighting measurement results in filing room 1 = 176.3 lux and filing room 3 = 119 lux. The conclusion of this research is that the average air temperature in all filing rooms at Nganjuk Hospital exceeds the standard storage temperature, the average humidity exceeds the standard; and substandard lighting.Keywords: filing room; work safety; work environment; temperature; humidity; lighting ABSTRAK Rumah sakit wajib menyediakan berbagai fasilitas yang diperlukan dalam rangka penyelenggaraan rekam medis. Penyimpanan rekam medis perlu ditunjang dengan sarana dan prasarana yang tepat dan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung agar keamanan rekam medis terjaga dengan baik serta tidak mengancam keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja petugas terkait. Maka diperlukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan keselamatan kerja dan keamanan dokumen rekam medis berdasarkan aspek fisik lingkungan kerja meliputi suhu, kelembaban dan pencahayaan di ruang filing Rumah Sakit Nganjuk. Penelitian ini merupakan studi deskriptif. Variabel yang diteliti adalah suhu, kelembaban dan pencahayaan ruang filing. Setelah dilakukan pengukuran, selanjutnya data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa suhu ruang filing 1 = 30,8 °C, ruang filing 2 = 31,65 °C, dan ruang filing 3 = 31,75 °C. Hasil pengukuran kelembaban di ruang filing 1 = 63,5%, ruang filing 2 = 61,5%, dan ruang filing 3 = 62%. Suhu dan kelembaban yang tidak sesuai standar tersebut, dapat menjadi faktor risiko terhadap kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja pada petugas maupun risiko terhadap kerusakan dokumen rekam medis. Sedangkan hasil pengukuran pencahayaan di ruang filing 1 = 176,3 lux dan ruang diling 3 = 119 lux. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa rerata suhu udara di semua ruang filing RS Nganjuk melebihi suhu standat penyimpanan, rerata kelembaban melebihi standar; dan pencahayaan di bawah standar.Kata kunci: ruang filing; keselamatan kerja; lingkungan kerja; suhu; kelembaban; pencahayaan

Abstract

Document of medical records are owned by health care facilities and the contents of medical records are owned by patients. Release of medical record information must be carried out with the approval from the leader of hospital, based on terms and conditions. Implementation in several hospitals still found problems which could resulting the leakage of medical records. The aims of this study is analyzing the release of medical record based on 3 factors, such as man, facilities, and methods. This is literature review research which uses articles on the online databases of Google Scholar, Crossref, Garuda Portal, and Microsoft Academic. Search and selection resulted in 24 selected articles. The results of the study explain that in the man factor the medical record officer becomes a facilitator in releasing medical record information. Facilities factor, the requirements that must be attached are official permit from suppliant. Method factor, the information release procedure begins with the submission of requirements, processing the request, and submitting the results to the applicant. Problems that often occur in the release of medical record information consist of incomplete requirements, medical record officers did not comprehend the procedure, and Standard Operating Procedures were not yet available. Suggestions for improvements which could be made include providing training to medical record officers, making x-banners of flow and procedures for releasing medical record information, and reinforcing or updating Standard Operating Procedures.

Abstract

Myofascial pain syndrome is a clinical condition described as a combination of sensory, motor, and autonomic signs and symptoms caused by myofascial trigger points. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of neck calliet exercise to reduce neck pain due to myofascial pain syndrome. This type of research was pre-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest design, by applying the neck calliet exercise, and then measuring neck pain in cases of myofascial pain syndrome. This study involved 20 female seamstresses at Makale Central Market who experienced local neck pain for more than one month, as well as upper trapezius spasms. Differences in neck pain between the pre- and post-intervention phases were analyzed using paired samples t-test. The results of the analysis showed that the p value = 0.000, which means there was a significant difference in pain levels between before and after the intervention is given. Thus, it could be concluded that neck calliet exercise can significantly reduce neck pain due to myofascial pain syndrome.Keywords: neck calliet exercise; myofascial pain syndrome; seamstress ABSTRAK Myofascial pain syndrome adalah kondisi klinis yang digambarkan sebagai kombinasi tanda dan gejala sensorik, motorik, dan otonom yang disebabkan oleh myofascial trigger points. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektifitas neck calliet exercise untuk menurunkan nyeri leher akibat myofascial pain syndrome. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pra eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest, dengan menerapkan neck calliet exercise, dan selanjutnya dilakukan pengukuran nyeri leher pada kasus myofascial pain syndrome. Studi ini melibatkan 20 penjahit perempuan di Pasar Sentral Makale yang mengalami nyeri tengkuk lokal lebih dari satu bulan, serta mengalami spasme upper trapezius. Perbedaan nyeri leher antara fase sebelum dan sesudah intervensi dianalisis menggunakan paired samples t-test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai p = 0,000 yang berarti ada perbedaan tingkat nyeri secara signifikan antara sebelum sesudah diberikan intervensi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa neck calliet exercise secara signifikan dapat menurunkan nyeri leher akibat myofascial pain syndrome.Kata kunci: neck calliet exercise; myofascial pain syndrome; penjahit perempuan

Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis is caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis and is an infectious disease. An unhealthy home environment can contribute to the high incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis. The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of residential density and humidity on the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in the working area of the Tamalate Community Health Center. The study implemented a case-control design with a 1:1 proportion. The case sample size and control sample size were 30 people each. Data was collected by filling out a questionnaire and then analyzed using the Chi-square test and odds ratio. The results showed that for residential density, p value = 0.161 and odds ratio = 0.224; while for humidity, p value = 0.000 and odds ratio = 3.727. It was concluded that the risk factor for the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in the working area of the Tamalate Health Center, Makassar City, was humidity.Keywords: pulmonary tuberculosis; environment; humidity ABSTRAK Tuberkulosis paru disebabkan oleh bakteri Mycobacterium tuberculosis dan termasuk penyakit menular.  Lingkungan rumah yang tidak sehat dapat berkontribusi pada tingginya kejadian tuberkulosis paru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepadatan hunian dan kelembaban terhadap kejadian tuberkulosis paru di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tamalate. Penelitian menerapkan rancangan kasus-kontrol dengan proporsi 1:1. Ukuran sampel kasus dan sampel kontrol masing-masing adalah 30 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengisian kuisioner lalu dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-square dan odds ratio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk kepadatan hunian, nilai p = 0,161 dan odd ratio = 0,224; sedangkan untuk kelembaban, nilai p = 0,000 dan odd ratio = 3.727. Disimpulkan bahwa faktor risiko kejadian tuberkulosis paru di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tamalate Kota Makassar adalah kelembabanKata kunci: tuberkulosis paru; lingkungan; kelembaban

Abstract

     Hospitalization in children can cause anxiety. There are many efforts to reduce anxiety in children with hospitalization, one of which is with play therapy, with bibliotherapy and puzzle therapy as one of the options. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of bibliotherapy and puzzle games to reduce the level of anxiety in school-age children undergoing hospitalization. The design of this study was a two-group pretest and posttest. The first group received bibliotherapy, while the second group received puzzle therapy. This study involved 40 children with hospitalization selected using a purposive sampling technique. The number of respondents for each group was 20 children. In the phases before and after therapy, children's anxiety was measured using an instrument in the form of CSAS-C. The difference in anxiety levels between before and after therapy was analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the Wilcoxon test in the bibliotherapy and puzzle therapy groups were 0.001, respectively, so it can be interpreted that there is a difference in the level of anxiety in children in the two groups. Furthermore, it could be concluded that bibliotherapy and puzzle therapy are effective in reducing anxiety levels in school-age children with hospitalization.Keywords: anxiety; school-age children; hospitalization; bibliotherapy; puzzle therapy ABSTRAK Hospitalisasi pada anak dapat menyebabkan kecemasan. Banyak upaya untuk mengurangi kecemasan pada anak dengan hospitalisasi, yang salah satunya dengan terapi bermain, dengan biblioterapi dan terapi puzzle sebagai salah satu pilihan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektifitas permainan bibliotherapy dan puzzle untuk menurunkan tingkat kecemasan anak usia sekolah yang menjalani hospitalisasi. Desain penelitian ini adalah two group pretest and posttest. Kelompok pertama mendapatkan bibliotherapy, sedangkan kelompok kedua mendapatkan terapi puzzle. Penelitian ini melibatkan 40 anak dengan hospitalisasi yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Jumlah responden untuk masing-masing kelompok sebanyak 20 anak. Pada fase sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan terapi, dilakukan pengukuran kecemasan anak menggunakan instrumen berupa CSAS-C. Perbedaan tingkat kecemasan antara sebelum dan sesudah terapi dianalisis dengan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil uji Wilcoxon pada kelompok bibliotherapy dan terapi puzzle, masing-masing adalah 0,001, sehingga bisa diinterpretasikan bahwa ada perbedaan tingkat kecemasan anak pada kedua kelompok. Selanjutnya bisa disimpulkan bahwa bibliotherapy dan terapi puzzle efektif untuk menurunkan tingkat kecemasan pada anak usia sekolah dengan hospitalisasi.Kata kunci: kecemasan; anak usia sekolah; hospitalisasi; bibliotherapy; terapi puzzle

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease characterized by high blood glucose levels due to insulin secretion problems. A common complication of this disease is a disruption in peripheral blood vessel flow, namely neuropathy. Neuropathic pain that occurs in patients with diabetes has a significant impact on quality of life. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of Buerger Allen Exercise and relaxation music to reduce the level of neuropathic pain in patients with diabetes mellitus. The design of this study was one group pretest and posttest, with a time series approach carried out for 3 consecutive days. Sample selection was carried out using the purposive sampling method, so that a sample size of 34 patients was obtained. The sample was given treatment, namely Buerger Allen Exercise and relaxation music. In the phases before and after treatment, pain levels were measured using the Numeric Pain Scale, then a comparative analysis of pain levels between phases was carried out. The results of the analysis showed a p value = 0.000, which means that there was a significant difference in pain levels between phases. Thus, it could be concluded that the Buerger Allen Exercise and relaxation music interventions are effective as therapies to reduce the level of neuropathic pain in the feet in patients with diabetes.Keywords: diabetes mellitus; diabetic foot neuropathy pain; Buerger Allen Exercise; relaxation music ABSTRAK Diabetes melitus merupakan penyakit metabolik yang dikarakteristikkan dengan tingginya kadar glukosa di dalam darah karena masalah sekresi insulin. Komplikasi yang sering terjadi pada penyakit ini adalah gangguan pada aliran pembuluh darah perifer yaitu neuropati. Nyeri neuropati yang terjadi pada pasien dengan diabetes memberikan dampak yang sangat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektifitas Buerger Allen Exercise dan musik relaksasi untuk menurunkan tingkat nyeri neuropati pada pasien dengan diabetes melitus. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah one group pretest and posttest, dengan pendekatan time series yang dilakukan selama 3 hari berturut-turut. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling, sehingga  didapatkan ukuran sampel 34 pasien. Kepada sampel dilakukan perlakuan yaitu Buerger Allen Exercise dan musik relaksasi. Pada fase sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan dilakukan pengukuran tingkat nyeri menggunakan Numeric Pain Scale, lalu dilakukan analisis perbandingan tingkat nyeri antar fase. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai p = 0,000 yang berarti bahwa ada perbedaan tingkat nyeri secara signifikan antar fase. Dengan demikian bisa disimpulkan bahwa intervensi Buerger Allen Exercise dan musik relaksasi efektif sebagai terapi untuk menurunkan tingkat nyeri neuropati kaki pada pasien dengan diabetes. Abstract

Konjac glucomannan is rich in polysaccharides, able to reduce the incidence of blood vessel blockages. The aim of this study was to assess lipid metabolic activity on the effectiveness of konjac glucomannan for reducing total cholesterol levels in the blood. This study implemented a pretest and posttest randomized controlled group. The research samples were male Rattus novergicus Wistar aged approximately 3 months with a body weight of 120-200 g which were divided randomly into 2 treatment groups. All samples were given a high-fat diet. The positive control group (P1) was given 1.26 mg simvastatin intervention; while the treatment group was given konjac glucomannan intervention at a dose of 20 mg/kg BW. Blood cholesterol levels are checked using UV-Vis Spectophotometry. The data obtained was analyzed descriptively. The results of the study showed that blood cholesterol levels in Rattus novergicus Wistar could decrease at a dose of 25 mg/kg BW. Treatment with a dose of 20 mg/kg konjac glucomannan dose-dependently restored all changes towards normal values as well as lipid accumulation in the liver and adipose tissue. These findings indicated that konjac glucomannan is able to reduce body weight gain and IR in hypercholesterolemia in Wistar Rattus Novergicus through adipocytokine modulation. It was concluded that konjac glucomannan has the ability to reduce cholesterol levels in the blood.Keywords: konjac glucomannan; LDL-C; blood cholesterol level; Uv-Vis spectophotometry; Rattus novergicus wistarABSTRAK Konjak glukomanan kaya akan polisakarida, mampu mengurangi kejadian penyumbatan pembuluh darah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menilai aktivitas metabolisme lipid terhadap efektivitas konjak glukomanan untuk penurunan kadar kolesterol total dalam darah. Penelitian ini menerapkan pretest and post test randomized controlled group. Sampel penelitian adalah Rattus novergicus Wistar jantan berumur kurang lebih 3 bulan dengan berat badan 120-200 g yang dibagi secara acak menjadi 2 kelompok perlakuan. Semua sampel tersebut diberi diet tinggi lemak. Kelompok kontrol positif (P1) diberikan intervensi simvastatin 1,26 mg; sedangkan kelompok perlakuan diberikan intervensi konjak glukomanan dengan dosis 20 mg/kg BB. Kadar kolesterol darah diperiksa menggunakan Spektofotometri UV-Vis. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar kolesterol darah Rattus novergicus Wistar dapat menurun pada dosis 25mg/kg BB. Pengobatan dengan dosis 20 mg/kg konjak glukomanan secara dependen memulihkan semua perubahan menuju nilai normal serta akumulasi lipid di hati dan jaringan adiposa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa konjak glukomanan mampu menurunkan pertambahan berat badan dan IR pada hiperkolesterolemia pada Rattus Novergicus Wistar melalui modulasi adipositokin. Abstract

Chronic renal failure is the final failure stage where the nephrons cannot maintain their function. This disease contributes to the world's disease burden with a mortality rate of 850,000 people per year according to WHO. This kidney failure is followed by the high prevalence of patients undergoing hemodialysis which can interfere with the patient's physical and physiological condition. Some studies say that music therapy in kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis can reduce the anxiety level of patients undergoing hemodialysis. Methods: This research is a literature review of 3 articles. Articles searched through Google Scholar and Pubmed are searched according to keywords. for the nation with the keywords music therapy, anxiety, chronic kidney failure, and hemodialysis. Then for international articles, researchers determined the keywords music therapy, anxiety, chronic renal failure, and hemodialysis, and 3 articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected. Results: The results of a review of 3 articles state that there is an effect of music therapy on reducing anxiety in patients undergoing hemodialysis with kidney failure. Discussion: There is a correlation between various studies related to the effect of reducing anxiety in patients undergoing hemodialysis with kidney failure. Conclusion: There is an effect of music therapy on reducing anxiety in patients undergoing hemodialysis with kidney failure and music therapy. This therapy is good to continue to be developed.
Stress Kerja dan Kualitas Tidur Sebagai Determinan Utama Kelelahan Kerja pada Pekerja Konstruksi Intan Pardyani; Indri Hapsari Susilowati

Abstract

Fatigue is a concern in the workplace because it has the potential to affect the productivity, health and safety of workers; which is the main cause of accidents and occupational diseases in construction workers. The aim of this scientific study was to determine the determinants of fatigue in construction workers. This study was a literature review, which used the PRISMA protocol. Literature was searched from 2 databases, namely Research Gate and Science Direct, with the keywords "Construction", "Fatigue", "Fatigue Level" and "Type of Work". This scientific study produced 9 articles, consisting of 5 articles included in Scopus Q1 and 4 articles included in Scopus Q2. The results of this review showed that the most frequently found determinants are work stress and sleep quality. Work stress can increase if there are consecutive work days which have an impact on work fatigue, causing decreased productivity. In addition, the influence of sleep quality is associated with an increased risk of work accidents caused by daytime sleepiness due to poor night's sleep. Furthermore, other risk factors that influence work fatigue included working hours, experience/year of work, age, work activities, work days, physical workload, mental load, work environment, alcohol consumption, smoking habits, and gender of construction workers. It was concluded that the main determinants of fatigue in construction workers are work stress and sleep quality.Keywords: fatigue; construction workers; work stress; sleep quality ABSTRAK Fatigue menjadi perhatian di tempat kerja karena sangat berpotensi mempengaruhi produktivitas, kesehatan dan keselamatan para pekerja; yang menjadi penyebab utama kecelakaan dan penyakit akibat kerja pada pekerja konstruksi. Tujuan dari studi ilmiah ini adalah untuk mengetahui determinan fatigue pada pekerja konstruksi. Studi ini merupakan tinjauan literatur, yang menggunakan protokol PRISMA. Literatur dicari dari 2 database yaitu Research Gate dan Science Direct, dengan kata kunci “Konstruksi”, “Kelelahan (Fatigue)”, “Tingkat Kelelahan” dan “Jenis Pekerjaan”. Studi ilmiah ini menghasilkan 9 artikel, yang terdiri atas 5 artikel termasuk dalam Scopus Q1 dan 4 artikel termasuk dalam Scopus Q2. Hasil dari tinjauan ini menunjukkan bahwa determinan yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah stres kerja dan kualitas tidur. Stres kerja dapat meningkat apabila terdapat hari kerja yang berturut-turut yang berdampak pada kelelahan kerja sehingga menyebabkan menurunnya produktivitas. Selain itu pengaruh kualitas tidur dikaitkan dengan peningkatan risiko kecelakaan kerja yang disebabkan oleh kantuk di siang hari akibat tidur malam yang buruk. Selanjutnya, faktor risiko lainnya yang berpengaruh tehadap kelelahan kerja meliputi jam kerja, pengalaman/masa kerja, usia, aktifitas pekerjaan, hari kerja, beban kerja fisik, beban mental, lingkungan kerja, konsumsi alkohol, kebiasaan merokok, dan jenis kelamin pekerja konstruksi. Disimpulkan bahwa determinan utama dari fatigue pada pekerja konstruksi adalah stres kerja dan kualitas tidur.Kata kunci: fatigue; pekerja konstruksi; stres kerja; kualitas tidur
