Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki proses dan kualitas pembelajaran mata kuliah program linear mahasiswa semester IV Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika melalui Lesson Study. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif, dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil observasi/pengamatan akivitas mahasiswa dan dosen. Kegiatan Lesson Study dilakukan sebanyak dua kali open class, masing-masing open class terdiri dari tiga tahap kegiatan yaitu: perencanaan (plan), pelaksanaan, (do), dan refleksi (see). Pembelajaran dilakukan melalui penerapan model kooperatif. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah:  meningkatkan aktivitas mahasiswa dengan penerapan model kooperatif pada mata kuliah program linear, meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa dalam mengerjakan masalah maksimasi dengan metode simpleks, interaksi antar mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran meningkat. Berdasarkan hasil di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif pada mata kuliah program linear dalam kegiatan lesson study dapat meperbaiki proses dan kualitas pembelajaran. Abstract:The research aims to improve the process and quality of learning linear program at the fourth semester students of the Mathematics Education Study Program through Lesson Study activities. This research is descriptive research to describe the observation results of the students and lecturers activities. Lesson Study activities were conducted in two times open classes, each open class consisted of three activity phases, namely: planning (plan), implementation (do), and reflection (see). Learning was conducted through implementation of cooperative learning models. Based on the findings, it is recognized that the lesson study activities improve the students’ activities through the implementation of cooperative model in the linear program subject, improve students’ understanding in maximizing problems with the simple method, and improve the interaction among the students. Based on those findings, it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model in the linear program subject through lesson study activities can improve the process and quality of learning.

Abstract

Abstract:The study aims to find out the profile of junior high school students’ problem solving in answering the content PISA test of uncertainty and data based on IDEAL (I-Identify problem, D-Define goal, E-Explore possible strategies, A-Anticipate outcomes and act, and L-Look back and learn) problem solving. Three students of the third grade state junior high school (SMPN) 1 Salatiga of academic year 2018/2019 were selected as the subjects of this study. The study used test, interview, and documentation as data collection techniques. Based on the results of the written test and interview, it is found that some students were able to implement all problem solving stages appropriately and sequentially. The subjects tended to ignore ’exploring strategies’ and ’look and learning’ stages.Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil pemecahan masalah siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal PISA konten uncertainty and data berdasarkan pemecahan masalah IDEAL (I-Identidy problem, D-Define goal, E-Explore possible strategies, A-Anticipate outcomes and act, dan L-Look back and learn). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 3 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Salatiga tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil tes tertulis dan wawancara diperolehbahwa sebagian siswa mampu melaksanakan tahapan pemecahan masalah dengan runtut dan tepat, dan cenderung semua subjek kurang dalam tahap explore strategies dan look and learning.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu produk pengembangan dalam bentuk desain didaktis dan mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Data diperoleh dari wawancara, observasi dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba lapangan nilai rata-rata sebesar 74,2% dan tingkat kelulusan 76,19%. Hasil tertinggi dari aspek pemecahan masalah adalah memahami masalah 90,48% dan nilai terendah adalah memeriksa kembali sebesar 56,55%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa hasil posttest menunjukkan indikator memahami masalah sudah baik artinya siswa mampu memahami masalah dengan menuliskan apa yang diketahui dan ditanyakan. Namun, pada indikator memeriksa kembali diperoleh presentase terendah, karena siswa jarang memeriksa kembali jawaban yang telah ditulis.Abstract:The research aims to create a developmental product in the form of didactical design in order to know the students’ ability of mathematical problem solving. The data were obtained from interview, observation, and problem solving skill test. Based on the results of field try-out, it was obtained the mean score of 74% with achievement level of 76.19%. The highest problem solving aspect was understanding the problem with the score of 90.48% and the lowest score was rechecking skill with the score of 56.55%. Based on the findings, the posttest results show that the indicator of understanding the problem is good, it means that the students are able to understand the problem by writing what they know and what is being asked, but the indicator of rechecking gets lowest presentation score because the students rarely recheck their written answers.

Abstract

Abstract:The study aims to find out the students’ mathematical learning outcome differences through the implementation of cooperative learning model of Think Pair Share (TPS) type, Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) type, and Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type. The study used quasi-experimental research design. The population of this study was all the second grade students of SMPN 1 Pallangga that consisted of 11 classes with the total number of 343 students. The sample was determined by using purposive sampling technique. The data analyses techniques used were descriptive and inferential statistics by using F one-way Anova test and follow-up testing by using Scheffe test. Based on the statistics analysis, it was found that there were the students’ mathematical learning outcome differences through the implementation of Think Pair Share (TPS) type, and Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) type at the second grade of SMPN 1 Pallangga. Based on the mean scores, the highest score of the students’ learning outcomes was the experimental class implemented learning model of TPS type.Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS), Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS), dan Numbered Heads Together (NHT). Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan quasi experiment. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 1 Pallangga yang terdiri dari 11 kelas, yang berjumlahkan 343 siswa. Penentuan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan uji F one-way Anava dan uji lanjut dengan menggunakan uji Scheffe. Berdasarkan analisis statistika menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matemaika siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS), Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS), dan Numbered Heads Together (NHT) pada kelas VII SMPN 1 Pallangga. Berdasarkan nilai rerata, hasil belajar matematika siswa yang tertinggi adalah kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model pembelajaran tipe TPS.

Abstract

Abstrak:Pemahaman konsep merupakan salah satu indikator hasil belajar peserta didik, sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik dengan menggunakan microsoft powerpoint pada aplikasi android. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimental design), dan menggunakan desain penelitian non equivalent control group. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji n-gain dan uji hipotesis nya menggunakan Anova satu jalur. Pengujian hipotesis menyatakan bahwa Ho ditolak, sehingga terdapat peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis menggunakan microsoft powerpoint pada aplikasi andorid dengan taraf n-gain pada interprestasi tinggi.Abstract:Concept understanding is one indicator in improving student learning outcomes, so the aim of this research is to find out the improvement of students' mathematical concept understanding by using Microsoft Powerpoint on Android applications. The type of research used is quasi-experimental (quasi experimental design), and uses the non equivalent control group. The data analysis technique used in the study is the n-gain test and hypothesis testing using one-way ANOVA. Which states that Ho is rejected, so there is an increase in understanding of mathematical concepts using microsoft powerpoint on andorid applications with an n-gain level at high interpretation.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kemampuan numerik dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa di daerah pedesaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian korelasional dengan populasi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Cibal yang terletak di Kecamatan Cibal Kabupaten Manggarai, Propinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur yang berjumlah 458 siswa. Sampel sebanyak 214 siswa dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Data diperoleh dari tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dan tes kemampuan numerik yang kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis product moment.  Analisis dan interpretasi data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang cukup kuat  kemampuan numerik dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa pedesaan. Selain itu, terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan numerik dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Kontribusi kemampuan numerik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa sebesar.Abstract:The study aims to determine the correlation between numerical abilities and mathematical problem-solving abilities of the students in rural area. This study used correlational research with a population of eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Cibal of Manggarai regency, the Province of east Nusa Tenggara with total number of 458 students. The sample of 214 students had been selected by using random sampling technique. The data were obtained from mathematical problem-solving ability test and numerical ability tests, the data were then analyzed by using product moment analysis techniques. The analysis and interpretation of the data showed that: (1) the correlation between numerical ability and mathematical problem solving ability of the students in rural area was strong enough; (2) there was a positive and significant relationship between numerical ability and mathematical problem-solving ability. The contribution of numerical ability to the students' mathematical problem-solving ability was 17.64%.

Abstract

Abstrak:Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap bagaimana permaianan tradisional kelerang dapat digunakan sebagai media dalam pembelajaran matematika. Kelereng merupakan permainan tradisional maka tujuan lain dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap unsur etnomatematika dalam permainan tersebut. Metode penelitian ini adalah etnografi dimana peneliti melakukan pengamatan dan wawancara serta studi literatur yang berkaitan dengan permainan kelereng. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan bagaimana proses permainan dan manfaat dalam permainan kelereng. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dalam permaianan kelereng dapat melatih keterampilan motorik, melatih kemampuan berpikir (kognitif), kemampuan berhitung,  mengasah keterampilan sosial dan melatih anak mengendalikan emosi.Abstract:The purpose of this research is to uncover how traditional game on the kelerang can be used as. Marbles is traditional games and the stated goal of this research is to uncover the ethnomathematics elements in the game.The research is ethnography where researchers conducted observation, observation and interview and study literature relating to the game of marbles. This is the kind of research qualitative described the game and benefits in the game of marbles. The result of this research is in game marbles can train motor skills , train cognitive capacity to think, computation capabilities, sharpening the social skills and training their control your emotions.

Abstract

Abstract:This study aimed to develop conceptual-conflict-based learning device in mathematical problem solving on the subject of equations in three variables systems in the class X at MIA MAN 1 Makassar which was valid, practical and effective. The type of this study was research and development which consisted of: Lesson Plans, Student Book, Student Worksheet, and Learning Outcomes Test. The developmental model used was 4D model which consisted of difining, designing, developing and disseminating. The result of this study obtained that learning device was valid criteria based on the assessment from two validators. While the result of the limited trial showed the learning device was practical, but there were still several suggestions from observers that need to be considered to improve the practicality of the device. It was also effective which was proved by the completeness of learning outcomes that has been achieved, students’ activity was as expected, the ability of teachers to manage the learning was in a high category and the students’ responses was in a positive category.Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis konflik konseptual dalam pemecahan masalah pada pokok bahasan sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel kelas X MIA MAN 1 Makassar yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan yang terdiri atas: Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, Buku Siswa, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik, dan Tes Hasil Belajar. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model 4D yang terdiri dari tahapan perancangan, pendefinisian, pengembangan dan penyebaran. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah perangkat pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria valid berdasarkan penilaian oleh dua orang validator. Sedangkan hasil yang diperoleh pada uji coba terbatas, yaitu perangkat pembelajaran sudah praktis, tetapi masih ada beberapa saran pengamat yang perlu diperhatikan untuk meningkatkan kepraktisan perangkat. Perangkat pembelajaran sudah efektif dilihat dari ketuntasan hasil belajar yang telah tercapai, aktivitas siswa sudah sesuai yang diharapkan, kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran sudah dalam kategori tinggi dan respon siswa sudah dalam kategori positif.

Abstract

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model explicit instruction terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi bilangan Romawi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra-eksperimen dengan melibatkan 28 siswa kelas IV sebagai sampel di SD Inpres Kapasa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one-group pretest-posttest design. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh gambaran bahwa: (1) sebelum penerapan model explicit instruction, skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yaitu 55,32 yang tergolong kategori rendah, sementara setelah penerapan model explicit instruction skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa mencapai 83,29 yang tergolong ketegori tinggi; (2) persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa mencapai 92,86% yang memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan hasil belajar secara klasikal; (3) hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung > ttabel (4,931>1,703) sehingga Ha (Ha: µ1 < µ2) diterima; (4) diperoleh peningkatan nilai pretest dan posttest dengan indeks gain (d) sebesar 0.62601 yang berada kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model explicit intruction dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi bilangan Romawi kelas IV SD Inpres Kapasa. Dengan demikian, model explicit instruction merupakan alternatif perbaikan pembelajaran dimana materi bilangan Romawi diajarkan secara tersruktur dan siswa diberi penguatan agar pengetahuan mereka mengendap dan bertahan lama dalam memori. Abstract:The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of implementing the explicit instruction model towards students’ learning outcomes through Roman numeral material. This research was a pre-experimental study involving 28 fourth grade students as a sample in SD Inpres Kapasa. The research design used in this study was one-group pretest-posttest design involving one experimental class which began with a pretest before being given treatment and posttest after being given treatment. Based on the results of the data analysis, it was obtained an illustration that: (1) before the implementation of the explicit instruction model, the average score of student’s learning outcomes is 55.32 which was classified as low, while after the application of the explicit instruction model the student’s learning outcomes score reaches 83.29 which was classified as high category; (2) the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes reaches 92.86% which met the criteria for completeness of learning outcomes in a classical; (3) based on the results of the hypothesis test obtained tcount> ttable (4.931> 1.703) so that Ha (Ha: µ1 <µ2) was accepted; (4) obtained an enhancement in the value of the pretest and posttest with the index gain (d) of 0.62601 which was in the medium category. Based on the results of the study concluded that the implementation of the model of explicit instruction can improve learning outcomes of students in the material of Roman numerals in IV grade. Thus, the explicit instruction model is an alternative learning improvement where the material of Roman numbers was taught structurally and students ware given reinforcement so that their knowledge settles and lasts long in memory.

Abstract

Abstrak:Etnomatematika menjadi kajian tren penelitian saat ini. Etnomatematika memberikan pengaruh positif dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan melibatkan potensi budaya. Matematika perlu dikomunikasikan dengan menyisipkan budaya sehingga siswa mudah memahami materi. Oleh karena itu, etnomatematika perlu diintegrasikan dengan suatu model pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran model probing-prompting berbasis etnomatematika yang dapat melatih komunikasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Instructional Development Institute (IDI) dengan tiga tahapan, yaitu menentukan, mengembangkan, dan mengevaluasi. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 siswa kelas 8 MTs Negeri Sidorejo Banyuwangi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, observasi, lembar validasi, dan tes. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berupa kisi-kisi soal, soal tes, LKS, dan RPP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Perangkat pembelajaran ini dapat digunakan guru untuk mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.Abstract:Ethnomatematics becomes current study trend. It gives positive influence in learning mathematics by involving cultural potential. Mathematics needs to be communicated by integrating culture so that students easily understand the material. Therefore, ethnomatematics needs to be integrated with a learning model. Thus, the purpose of this study is to develop an ethnomatematics-based probing-prompting learning device that can train student’s mathematical communication. The study used a development model of the Instructional Development Institute (IDI) with three stages, namely defining, developing, and evaluating. The research subjects were 30 eighth grade students at MTs Negeri Sidorejo Banyuwangi. Data were collected through questionnaire, observation, validation sheet, and test. The learning device consists of the prediction of test problems, test problems, student’s worksheet, and lesson plan. The result of the study shows that the learning device fulfill valid, practical, and effective criterion. The learning device can be used by teachers to develop students' mathematical communication ability.
