Eduhumaniora is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes different kinds of scientific articles based on the research-article and ideas-article. All topics that we received only articles relating to elementary education fields. For research category, articles can be written using quantitative and qualitative approaches, and can be made in a variety of research designs, such as action research, experiments, and case studies. This journal was published since 2009 twice a year every January and July, and published by the collaboration between Elementary Teacher Education Program, Kampus UPI di Cibiru and Himpunan Dosen PGSD Indonesia.

Abstract

Pancasila economy is an economic system imposing a joint venture based on kinship and cooperation to symbolize Indonesian identity which is not possessed by another country. Besides, the Pancasila economy is the philosophical foundation and the 1945 constitution (UUD 45) is the constitutional foundation of Indonesia. This research aimed to describe how the implementation of Project-Based Pancasila Economic Learning through the Experiential Learning method. Project-based done, of course, adjusts to students who are still elementary school age. This research used an action research approach in Public Elementary School Blitar, Indonesia, the research subject was 70 elementary students. Data collection was conducted by interview, questionnaire, and Forum Grup Discussion (FGD). The research finding showed that the students were able to interpret that economic learning could be conducted outside the class. By experiential learning method, the students were expected to be more understand the purpose of Pancasila Economic learning. In addition, based on the learning mentioned, the students could understand and implement the form of Pancasila Economic, especially practicing the precepts in everyday life.

Abstract

This paper is motivated by the author's efforts to improve the quality of Human Resources (HR) in accordance with the demands/developments of the times. This research was conducted to (1) find out how the differences in creative and collaborative thinking skills through STEM-integrated project-based learning and the use of conventional learning models, (2) describe creative and collaborative thinking skills using STEM-integrated project-based learning models. This study uses a quantitative approach method. It was held at Gugus 4 Cibadak, Public Elementary School Pamuruyan (as the control class) and Public Elementary School Cilengo (as the experimental class). Creative thinking data collection is using posttest and pretest, while for collaborative ability data collection is by observation sheets. The results showed that (1) the creative thinking ability (mean pretest 32,14 for experiment class and 40,17 for control class, mean posttest 79, 29 for experiment class and 40,83 for control class) and collaborative ability of the class with STEM-integrated project-based learning were superior/got more significant results than the class that used conventional learning models, (2) students' creative abilities emerged into several indicators such as fluency, flexibility, original thinking, and elaborative thinking, (3) collaborative abilities appear in the field based on indicators of confidence, positive attitude, respect, giving encouragement, and building group spirit.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the design of the hypothesis and the feasibility of the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (CPA)-based multiplication teaching module to improve the numeracy literacy of elementary school students. The research method used is Design and Development (DD). This research procedure is Planning, Production, and Evaluation (PPE). This research result is a Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (CPA) based teaching module on multiplication material in grade II Elementary School. The teaching modules have been validated by three experts: material experts, design experts, and linguists. The validation results from material experts get a percentage of 95%, design experts get a percentage of 89%, and linguists get a percentage of 92.5%. All validation results are included in the excellent criteria. The product was tested on students through a literacy ability test which was carried out through a pretest and post-test. The average result of the students' pretest scores is 50, and the average post-test results are 83. Thus, this teaching module is feasible and can improve students' numeracy literacy.

Abstract

Natural Science is a science that requires a scientific attitude, understanding of concepts and experimental skills. However, in its implementation in the field of education, there are still a lot of scores that do not reach the minimum criteria due to a lack of understanding of students' concepts and approaches that are still traditional. Therefore, in accordance with the capabilities of the 21st century, this study purposes to develop a game based media from Scratch that can be used by teachers and students in science learning material changes in the shape of objects. This research uses a method by applying Research and Development whose main purpose is to develop new products or improve existing products. The results of this study shows that the development of media based on the Scratch game can be developed by a teacher and can be used in learning with students. The results of testing the learning media that have been made on the display design aspect show a percentage of 93% which means it is very proper, the substance aspect of the material shows a percentage of 89% which means it is proper, and the respondent's response to the program shows a percentage of 83% which means it is proper.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe the teacher's strategy in overcoming bullying behavior at MI Hadrul Ulum Cisalak (2) analyze the teacher's obstacles in overcoming bullying behavior atMIHadrul Ulum Cisalak. To answer the problems that occur in this study, the research used BF Skinner's Behaviorism Theory. The type of research used is a qualitative approach with a case study research method. The research location is at Madarasah Ibtidaiya (MI) Cisalak which is located at Cisalak Village. In data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation, while determining informants using purposive sampling techniques. Whereas in data analysis techniques using data collection techniques, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and data validity. The results of this study indicate that the teacher' strategy in overcoming bullying behavior at MI Hadrul Ulum Cisalak is: (1) knowing the root causes of bullying, (2) giving punishment (punishment), (3) making study groups, (4) giving advice to students who engage in bullying behavior and other students, (5) provide several services from BK to students who are victims of bullying and bullies, (6) provide rewards, (7) provide "stop bullying" programs, (8) supervise (Obstacles in overcoming bullying behavior are: (a) difficulties in controlling student behavior when outside school, (b) students who are victims of bullying are not open to reporting to teachers, (c) teachers lack understanding of bullying behavior).

Abstract

This study is based on Permendikbud No. 65 of 2013, which mandates that students learn in accordance with 12 learning principles. As a result, educators must be adept at utilizing a variety of strategies to meet students' learning goals. Consequently, the purpose of this study is to assist teachers in utilizing a method that is in line with the curriculum, one of which is a problem-based learning method, in order to help students develop their critical thinking skills. So, in this study, problem-based learning, or a strategy that presents challenges connected to daily life in real terms, is used in the teaching materials created, namely E-Handout. To improve student motivation and learning results, interactive digital teaching resources have been developed. The study methodology employed is called ADDIE, which stands for Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Analysis includes curriculum analysis, material analysis, and student analysis. Design includes handout design and material design, The systematics of Electronic Handout teaching materials are cover or title of the handout, KI/KD, learning objectives, concept maps, material and videos, exercises and quizzes, and bibliography.

Abstract

This study aims to dig up information about fun learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study is focused on analyzing the perspectives of high school elementary school students regarding fun learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is qualitative with a phenomenological design, data collected from a qualitative approach by conducting interviews and distributing questionnaires. The participants in this study were 19 fourth, fifth, and sixth grade elementary school students. The results of data collection were analyzed to form several themes. The results of the study show the importance of the skills and personality of the teacher in teaching because it greatly influences students' understanding and passion for learning. The nature and attitude shown by the teacher to students greatly influences learning, how the teacher conveys the material, chooses learning methods, and chooses learning media can attract students to enjoy learning. The role of parents is also one of the supporting factors for the creation of fun learning during the pandemic. It is very important to collaborate between teachers and parents to achieve learning goals so that they can create fun learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the positive effect of using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model on the learning outcomes of problem-solving math story problems for second-grade students of SDN 03 Pelang. The lack of students understanding of the issue of the story problems and imagining the problems in story questions is not optimal. The RME model will provide students with authentic experiences and opportunities to construct mathematical knowledge. The type of research conducted is experimental research. The design used in this study is quasi-experimental in the form of a nonequivalent control group design. The subjects in this study were second-grade students of SDN 03 Pelang. The data collection technique in this research is in the form of a test (description). While the data analysis techniques include analysis of instrument trials, prerequisite tests, and hypothesis testing. The results showed a significant effect of the RME learning model on the problem-solving ability of students' story problems between the experimental and control groups. So, the RME makes students actively participate in learning so that students' problem-solving skills are achieved optimally.

Abstract

As a leader in an educational institution, the principal is one of the determining factors that can encourage schools to realize the vision, mission, goals, and objectives through various programs that are implemented in a planned manner. Therefore, this study will analyze the principal's policy in preparing for the implementation of the independent curriculum at Palembang 104 Public Elementary School and what efforts are made by the principal to make it easier for teachers to develop and apply the independent curriculum. This study used a qualitative research method based on field research or field research. The research was conducted at SDN 104 Palembang and the research objects were the principal and teachers. The obstacles to preparing for the implementation of the independent curriculum, such as inadequate facilities, teacher readiness, and education regarding the independent curriculum for teachers. Regarding the statement from the Ministry of Education and Culture that SDN 104 Palembang does not have to wait for all the teachers to be ready, because its implementation in elementary schools is only recommended for grades 1 and 4. The facilities are not difficult, schools and parents can take part in determining the material to be focused on students, and parents can help if such facilities are not available at school.
