Abstract

A low rate of exclusive breastfeeding is a threat to child development. According to the Ministry of Health 2018, exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia in 2017 was 35.7%, while in Palangka Raya, it was 14.9%. One of the factors causing a low rate of exclusive breastfeeding is the mother’s poor knowledge and attitude. They were determining the effectiveness of the health education using video to improve the knowledge and attitude on exclusive breastfeeding among pregnant women in the 3rd trimester III in the working area of Pahandut Public Health Center, Palangka Raya. The research type was quasi-experiment with a control group design pre-test-post test. The research population and sample were 69 pregnant women in the 3rd trimester in the working area of Pahandut Public Health Center, Palangka Raya, sampled using a simple random sampling technique. The video development used the Thiagarajan theory, which has been validated by a multimedia expert, learning expert, and midwifery expert. The data collection used a questionnaire. The data analysis used General Linear Model (GLM). The research result showed improvement before and after treatment using video with a difference of 14 points in knowledge and 16 in attitude. There was significant improvement in knowledge using video (F=275.727; sig=0.00; partial eta=0.80) and attitude (F=370.015; sig=0.00; partial eta=0.84). Video improves knowledge and attitude on exclusive breastfeeding.

In this study, it was found that from the six journals analyzed; four journals stated a relationship between knowledge about nutrition on the nutritional status of adolescents with each p-value (0,003, 0,0001, 0,001, and 0,021). Then two journals stated that there was no relationship between nutrition knowledge on the nutritional status of adolescents, with p-values of 0,619 and 0,147. There is a significant relationship between knowledge about nutrition with attitudes and behavior in choosing the food consumed. Abstract

Postpartum blues is a mild mood disorder syndrome often ignored by postpartum mothers, families, or health workers. Postpartum blues can develop into depression and even psychosis. The incidence varies significantly in Asia, between 26-85%, whereas the incidence is around 50-70% in Indonesia. Postpartum blues also affect the interaction between the baby and the mother, especially during the first year. In mental health, collaborative practice can increase patient and health team satisfaction, reduce the duration of treatment, reduce the cost of care, reduce the incidence of suicide, and reduce outpatient visits. The study aimed to analyze the differences between the implementation of postpartum collaboration services and postpartum blues at Sewon I & Banguntapan II Primary Health Center of Bantul Regency in 2019. This study applied a comparative study with a prospective cohort approach, and the sampling technique used consecutive sampling. Data analysis employed the Wilcoxon test, Mann-Whitney, and binary regression. Wilcoxon test p=0,000 means a difference in the initial and final EPDS score reduction between the two Primary Health Centers and the postpartum blues incidence. The number of postpartum blues in Sewon I Primary Health Center reached 52 (44.83%), while in Banguntapan II, there were 45 (42.45%). Fisher exact test results pregnancy relationship p = 0.642 and history of depression p = 0.078 meaning that there was no relationship. The binary regression test of the age obtained p = 0.000 and parity p = 0.007, meaning a relationship. It can be concluded that Inter-professional Collaboration has become an effective and efficient strategy to improve the quality of services and patient health outcomes due to the increasing diversity of professions in the health sector and the increasingly complex patient problems.

The number of people with hypertension continues to increase every year, it is estimated that in 2025 there will be 1.5 billion people affected by hypertension and it is estimated that every year 9.4 million people die from hypertension and its complications. The research Objective is To analyze the factors related to the incidence of hypertension in the elderly based on data through the literature review method Results: 6 research results were obtained according to the sample inclusion criteria of 64-137 respondents. The results showed 5 research journals there was a relationship between hypertension risk factors with a value of = 0.05 and one journal had no relationship between stress, physical activity, and smoking habits. 6 research journal articles using the literature review method there are 5 journals there is a relationship, namely stress, physical activity, and smoking habits and in 1 journal there is no relationship between stress, physical activity, and smoking habits in factors related to the incidence of hypertension in the elderly.

Abstract

Total Community Sanitation, from now on referred to as STBM, is a clean and healthy lifestyle that is used as a reference in implementing STBM. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the management of the achievement of the Community-Based Total Sanitation program at the Konawe District Health Center. This type of research is quantitative, using a cross-sectional design, collecting, analyzing, and describing information and data systematically, simultaneously increasing understanding of certain phenomena. The results of the variable analysis obtained the value of the Chi-Square test for knowledge management with a value of X Count 18.72 > from 3.84 or X table with a p-value of 0.529, which means it has a strong relationship. This study concludes that there is a significant relationship between the independent and dependent variables. To increase access to sanitation needs, it is recommended that the puskesmas coordinate with the local government in providing access to sanitation.

Abstract

The nutritional status of pregnant women dramatically affects the growth of the fetus in the womb. In Central Kalimantan alone, the number of pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency is still high, seen from the upper arm circumference measurement of pregnant women in the health profile of Central Kalimantan Province in 2017. The purpose of this study was to find out the level of knowledge of pregnant women about Chronic Energy Deficiency at the Pahandut Health Center, Palangka Raya City. This research design uses a descriptive research design. The sampling method used is Nonprobability Sampling (Accidental Sampling). Samples were taken from as many as 32 respondents, namely all pregnant women. The research data was taken using a questionnaire. The results showed that the knowledge of pregnant women about Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK) was categorized as lacking in as many as 22 respondents (69%), adequate knowledge among as many as seven respondents (22%), and three respondents with good knowledge (9%). Most pregnant women have less knowledge; this is due to the lack of information from the media that explains the nutritional intake of pregnant women.

Abstract

Vitamin A is one of the essential nutrients that are fat-soluble and stored in the liver, the body cannot make it, so it must be met from the outside (essential). Another most severe consequence of vitamin A deficiency (VAC) is night blindness, another form of xerophthalmias such as corneal damage and blindness. Vitamin A can increase the body's resistance to infectious diseases such as measles, diarrhea, and ARI and has a vital role in health eye. This study determined the relationship between a mother's level of knowledge about vitamin A and giving vitamin A to toddlers based on the data through the literature review method. They are using the literature review method. Journal searches use an academic database, namely Google Scholar, published in 2017-2020 using Indonesian and English. Cross-sectional study design. They obtained six research results according to the inclusion criteria. The research sample averaged 38-100 respondents. The results of the research analysis showed in six research journals that there was a relationship between the mother's level of knowledge about vitamin A and giving vitamin A capsules to toddlers with A mother's awareness of the importance of vitamin A in toddlers can be seen in the knowledge they have, one of the causes of the problem of vitamin A deficiency is the behavior or attitude of mothers who do not give vitamin A to their children.
