Abstract

All drugs used for COVID-19 therapy are circulated under a particular scheme, namely the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the Food and Drug Administration. Considering that this COVID-19 is a new case, the high mortality rate, and the lack of research related to COVID-19 drug therapy in Central Kalimantan, a study was conducted to compare the success of COVID-19 treatment in severe patients using remdesivir and favipiravir antivirals with clinical evidence parameters. Number Needed To Treat (NNT) at the COVID-19 referral service at RSUD dr. According to inclusion, Doris Sylvanus in 140 study subjects was divided into 70 topics, each using favipiravir and remdesivir. The results of the study in the remdesivir group showed that 36 (51.43%) subjects recovered and 34 (48.57%) died, while in the favipiravir group, 48 (68.67%) recovered and 22 (31.43%) died. Calculation of the NNT parameter values for remdesivir was obtained with six results, indicating that it takes six COVID-19 patients to be treated with remdesivir to produce therapeutic success, at least one patient recovers. The ideal NNT value is number 1; the smaller the NNT value is close to 1, the more effective it is to produce the expected recovery or positive impact. On the other hand, the higher the NNT value, the lower the effectiveness.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is one disease that contributes to the death rate to date. This could be due to a lack of knowledge and attitudes so that people's behavior has not been maximized in carrying out Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN). Currently, PSN activities are still not maximally carried out by the community, so the Aedes aegypti mosquito breeding is increasingly widespread. To determine the correlation between knowledge and attitudes with community behavior regarding eradicating mosquito nests with dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) and using the literature review research method. Search journals using an academic database, namely Google Scholar, published in 2017-2020 using Indonesian and obtained six research results according to the inclusion criteria. The research design used in the article is Cross-Sectional. The results obtained from 6 related articles that five pieces stated that there was a correlation between knowledge and attitudes toward community behavior regarding the eradication of mosquito nests with dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) with an average p-value <0.05 and 1 article did not correlate. There is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes toward community behavior regarding eradicating mosquito nests with dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF). This is because respondents who have good knowledge and positive attitudes tend to behave well.

Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis, or pulmonary TB, is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M. Tuberculosis). Pulmonary TB bacteria spread to other people through transmission or airflow (sputum of smear-positive pulmonary TB patients) when the patient coughs or sneezes. In addition, it impacts the individual and the sufferer's family, namely the psychological effect in the form of decreased support, anxiety, or low self-confidence. The World Health Organization (WHO), in its 2018 Annual report on global TB Control, stated that there were ten countries categorized as high-burden countries for pulmonary tuberculosis, namely Indonesia in third place with 842,000 TB cases. According to the WHO 2018, the incidence of tuberculosis in Indonesia in 2017 was 319 per 100,000 population, and the death rate for tuberculosis patients was 40 per 100,000 population. The condition of the home environment is very influential on the transmission of pulmonary TB disease. These include roofs, floors, walls, availability of windows, ventilation, lighting, and occupancy density. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between home environment conditions and the incidence of pulmonary TB. Using the literature review method. Search journals using an academic database, namely Google Scholar, published in 2018-2020 using Indonesian and English. The research analysis results showed that six research journals had a relationship with the relationship between home environmental conditions and the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis. Based on the results of research using the literature review method, there is a relationship between home ecological conditions, including ventilation, occupancy density, and lighting, with the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB).

Abstract

Integrated service post is the earliest health service center for toddlers. However, in reality, the community members themselves still do not use Integrated service posts to monitor toddlers' growth with the excuse that he was busy, so he did not have time to bring his toddler to school: integrated service posts and lack of knowledge about the importance of monitoring growth flowers in toddlers. A person's level of expertise affects an lt individual behavior, where the higher the level of understanding of mothers about the benefits of Integrated service post, the higher the level of awareness to play a role. In the Integrated service post-program, low knowledge of Integrated service post will cause a low level of understanding of mothers who have toddlers to visit Integrated service post. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between mothers' knowledge about Integrated service posts with the behavior of toddlers' Integrated service post-visit. This research method is Literature Review. The study design used is a cross-sectional and correlation analytic survey. Using Google Scholar (2017-2020). Articles in Indonesia. Strategy using PICOS with Inclusion and Exclusion criteria. The result showed that as many as six pieces analyzed stated a relationship between a mother's knowledge about integrated service post and visiting behavior of a toddler Integrated service post. Mother knowledge is related to seeing the Integrated service post for toddlers. Good knowledge will lead to good behavior visiting the Integrated service post. Age and education are factors that affect understanding, affecting the behavior of visits to Integrated service post toddlers. Mature age makes it so easy to accept and disapprove of the information obtained, and with a good education, it is broad knowledge gained so that a person who knows, receives data and can apply it in their lives.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Tuberculosis is still a global public health problem that is a worldwide challenge. One of the causes of the lack of general knowledge in efforts to prevent the transmission of Tuberculosis is the lack of information and education from health workers or posyandu cadres about Tuberculosis, resulting in a lack of public knowledge about Tuberculosis. This study aims to explain "Correlation Between Knowledge Level And Attitude Of The Community About The Prevention Of Transmission Of Lung Tuberculosis" based on data through the Literature Review method. They are using the Literature Review method. Journal searches use an academic database, namely Google Scholar, published in 2017-2020 using Indonesian and English. Cross-sectional study design. Of the six journals, three journals state a relationship between knowledge and public attitudes about efforts to prevent Tuberculosis transmission p value = 0.05). At the same time, three journals say that there is no relationship between knowledge and measures to avoid Tuberculosis, but there is a relationship between attitudes and Tuberculosis prevention efforts. One of the causes of the lack of public knowledge in efforts to prevent the transmission of Tuberculosis is the lack of information and education from health workers or posyandu cadres about Tuberculosis, causing a lack of public knowledge about Tuberculosis. Other factors that can influence a person's attitude such as family, the influence of friends, personal experience, and information obtained from various sources.

Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is one of the public health problems in Indonesia because the number of sufferers and the area of distribution is increasing along with increased mobility and population density. The motivations and behavior of the still diverse people often hinder the PSN movement. In addition, it is also supported by not maximal actions or activities for eradicating mosquito nests (PSN) in the community, causing extraordinary events (KLB). The targets are mosquito breeding places, such as water reservoirs for daily needs or natural water reservoirs or yards. To determine the relationship of motivation to the behavior of eradicating dengue mosquito nests and using the literature review method. The research uses an academic database, namely Google Scholar, published in 2017-2020 using Indonesian and English. Study design Cross-sectional. They obtained six research results according to the inclusion criteria. The research sample is an average of 40-109 respondents. The results of the research analysis showed six research journals that there was a relationship between the factors that influenced the administration of HB-0 immunization in newborns with a value (α = 0.05). There is a relationship between knowledge, family support, occupation, age, education, and motivation in the factors influencing the administration of HB-0 immunization in newborns.

Abstract

Premature rupture of membranes is declared if it occurs before the delivery process takes place. PROM is one of the causes of infection in mothers, the disease itself is the third cause of death in mothers. This study aims to determine the relationship between gestational age and history of PROM with the incidence of premature rupture of membranes (PROM). This study is an observational analytic with a case-control design. The population of this study was all mothers who gave birth to RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya with premature rupture of membranes as many as 225 mothers, and for the control population were all mothers who gave birth without premature rupture of membranes (PROM) at RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya. The case sampling technique in this study used the Slovin formula which resulted in 144 samples. The control sample size in this study was in accordance with the variable data studied, amounting to 144 mothers who did not experience PROM. The control sampling technique in this study used a systematic random sampling technique. The dependent variable in this study was PROM and the independent variables were gestational age and history of PROM. Data analysis using SPSS and the statistical test used is Chi-Square. The results showed that there was a relationship between gestational age and the incidence of PROM (p-value=0.048, OR=1.843) and there was a relationship between the history of PROM and the incidence of PROM (p-value=0.024, OR=3.473). So it was concluded that there was a relationship between gestational age and a history of PROM with the incidence of PROM in RSUD dr. doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya. Health promotion efforts are needed regarding the factors causing the incidence of PROM.

Abstract

Breast Self-Examination (BSE) is a breast self-examination that is carried out to find an abnormal lump in the breast or detect breast cancer early, especially among young women who have not been exposed to information about BSE, especially among young women at SMK PGRI Sampit. This research aims to convey information and education among adolescents who have not been exposed to learning and knowledge about BSE, especially at SMK PGRI Sampit. The type of research used in this research is quasi-experimental research, with a "Nonequivalent Control Group Design" research design. The sampling technique used was the Nonprobability Sampling technique with the type of total sampling. The Wilcoxon Rank Test data analysis was used because it used a categorical measurement scale (Nominal/Ordinal) in pairs consisting of the pretest and posttest groups. The results of the Knowledge Analysis about BSE from the treatment group obtained p = 0.000, which means that there is an effect on the effectiveness of BSE learning through video media. In contrast, in the control group, the results are p = 0.253, which shows no influence from the knowledge of the control group on adolescent girls at SMK PGRI Sampit. Based on the results of the analysis of BSE practices in the Treatment group, a p-value = 0.000 was obtained, which indicated the effect of the effectiveness of BSE learning through video media, while in the control group, a p-value = 0.083, which showed no impact on BSE practice in the control group of adolescent girls at SMK PGRI Sampit. The results showed a significant p-value of 0.000 (< 0.05) which showed the effectiveness of BSE learning on video media for young women at SMK PGRI Sampit.
