Abstract

Taman Muda IbuPawiyatanYogyakarta Vision is to be a quality school, arts-based cultural and educational noble character. Therefore, any learning activity seeks to implement the values of character and concepts ketamansiswaan, including on science learning (IPA). Translating that vision relevant to the purposes of science education that not only emphasizes the development of students’ knowledge of science, but also help the development of students into well-rounded individual with good character. This study aims to explore the implementation of character value through the development of science process skills for students with special needs, values character of the development of science process skills and the factors that influence its implementation. This study is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Mechanical analysis of data through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Testing the credibility of both the source and use triangulation techniques, the extension of observation, and check data providers (member check). Implementation of character value through the development of science process skills for students with special needs high class Taman Muda IP Yogyakarta had walked though not maximized, both in terms of planning, implementation, and assessment. The values of character can be extracted including gender, honest, independent, responsibility, willpower, and appreciate nature. Its success is influenced by the family environment, school, and community.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes through the use of thematic learning medium for students of class III comic Karanggondang Bantul elementary school year 2013/2014.This research is classroom action research ( CAR), which was commissioned jointly. Subjects in this study were students of class III SD Karanggondang Bantul totaling 34 students consisted of 17 female students and 17 male students. Object of this study is the result of the third grade elementary student learning Karanggondang Bantul on thematic learning using comics medium. Data collection techniques in this study was conducted with the test method and the method of observation. The instrument used in this study is testing and observation sheet. In this study, the test used is the test used. Test instrument is tested. Test trials tested are validity, distinguishing features, level of difficulty, and reliability. Data analysis techniques to determine the test with an average score on the learning outcomes of each cycle were used to determine the average value, the percentage increase in learning outcomes in each cycle, and the percentage of completeness that meet the KKM .The results showed that the learning outcomes on thematic learning using comics medium has increased from pratindakan, the first cycle and second cycle. This is indicated by an increase in the average value of student learning outcomes in pratindakan ie 65.56 increased to 73.09 in the first cycle and then again increased to 81.88 in the second cycle. The percentage of students who are able to reach KKM also increased each cycle is equal to 11.76% or 4 students at pratindakan, increased to 64.71%, or 22 people in the first cycle and the second cycle indicator of success has been achieved with the percentage of 82.35% or 28 students reached the KKM. Thus it is advisable for teachers to use comics in the thematic learning medium that can be considered as an alternative or efforts to improve student learning outcomes.

 Abstract: The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has an important contribution in education, especially in learning process. Shortages and bottlenecks in the learning process can be overcome with the use of ICT. Social studies as one of Sciences relating to the development of human life both in terms of economic, social relations, culture, history, law and its interaction with the natural environment is closely associated with the level of human civilization, including today's technology. All aspects of human life is the object of study in Social studies. Therefore to be able to clarify the learning materials so broad and constantly experiencing these developments, then information and communication technology (ICT) which is now thriving very supportive.

Abstract

Folklore is one type of child literature that has great benefits for its readers. One of the benefits of folklore is as a media biblioterapi for children. Bibliotherapy is a reading therapy, in which a person with problems is asked to read self-help books and motivate them to speed healing. Folklore can help to overcome problems faced by children. Folklore especially the fairy tale that has been favored by children not only provide basic education about the absorption of moral messages and characters, but more than that through fairy tales can be a means of non-formal education that can be utilized by teachers and parents in restoring trauma and meet thirsty children with other special needs.

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned attempt to create a learning atmosphere and a learning process in order that learners actively develop their potentials to possess spiritual and religious power, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble characters, and skills needed by themselves, the society, nation, and country. Civic Education at the elementary school requires learning through a variety of approaches emphasizing the habituation of the students by the teachers in inculcating values and moral. Therefore, the teachers are expected to prioritize the among (guiding) system and apply the values by providing examples (ing ngarso sung tulodo), developing will (ing madyo mangun karso), and enhancing the students’ creativity in the learning process (tut wuri handayani). In this way, the students understand Civic Education as value and moral education which finally can produce students with good morals and characters for the development of the nation and country.

Abstract

 Abstract:Jean Piaget is known as the founder of constructivist learning. The theory regardes basically each studenthasknowledge before they have been treated in learning process. Cognitive development is also covering theory of moral logical development.  A social study learning is learning closely related to value and morality, a social study learning will tend to social cognition so influents students’ morality. In fact, social study learning is still experiencing some problems. Therefore, value and moralityinternalizationto social study learning needs to be prepared and planned continuously by pressing to each different level.  The higher cognitive level is the more mature comprehensive element and responsibility. Due to, the attitude and their action will always be based by responsibility to their selves and environment.

Abstract

Improving Learning Outcomes IPA Grade IV Model-prompting Probing in SDN Regunung Tengaran Semarang District 01 District 2 Semester academic year 2015/2016. Essay. Bachelor degree essay at PGSD the Faculty of Education Christian University Satya Discourse Salatiga. Supervisor Prof. Dr. Slameto, S.Pd., M.Pd. Classroom action research conducted in the fourth grade students of SDN Regunung Tengaran Semarang District 01 District Academic Year 2015/2016. The number of students as many as 26 people consisting of 16 male students and 10 female students. This study aims to improve learning outcomes using cooperative learning model Probing-prompting. This classroom action research conducted by two cycles, with one cycle of meetings to 2x and 1x reflection meeting. In each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, evaluation and reflection. Collecting data in this study was conducted with a written test to calculate increase student learning outcomes IPA fourth grade. Improving student learning outcomes occur gradually, in which student learning outcomes on student learning outcomes prasiklus 23% the number of students 6 children, the first cycle of 73% with the number of students 19 0rang children, cycle II 96% by number of students 25 students. Thus, learning is successful 88%> 80% of the indicators of success. This shows that the type cooperative learning-prompting probing can improve student learning outcomes in grade IV SDN Regunng Tengaran Semarang District 01 District Academic Year 2015/2016.

Abstract

The research aims to get how the teacher’s role as guidance and counseling service in establishing the discipline of students at SD Negeri 2 Keputran Yogyakarta year 2015/2016. The kind of the research is qualitative descriptive, using interviews, observation, and documentation for collected data. The subject of the research are headmaster, teachers, and students. The technique of data analysis uses interactive model are data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The result of this research indicated that: 1) the role of the teacher as an guidance counseling services among others, as counselors, facilitators, and collaborators; 2) some examples of activities that created the teacher as an effort to build the discipline of students, among others, the flag ceremony every Monday and other major holidays, infaq routine once a week, morning assembly, pray, picket class, the working group; and 3) the constraints faced by teachers in an effort to build the discipline of students can be seen in terms of students, guardians or parents, and teachers.

Abstract

Negative perceptions about math in elementary school students resulted in less active students in the learning process, student engagement in learning is very important for students to understand the material presented. Based on these problems, teachers need to develop innovative learning models that can melibatka Math students in the learning process. This study aimed to describe the learning that can improve the activity of learning integers fifth grade students through a learning model Bamboo Dancing. The research method is a classroom action research with research subjects fourth grade students of SDN 35 Kebonsari 1 Malang. The products of this research is learning design study model bamboo dancing. The results show the percentage of students 'learning activeness in the first cycle of 80% with good liveliness criteria, then the second cycle students' learning activeness on the second cycle increased to 92.5% with the liveliness of the criteria very well. Based on this model study of bamboo dancing can enhance the activity of learning integers fifth grade students of SDN Kebonsari 1 Malang.

Abstract

This study aimed to know (1) correlation between learning activeness with learning achievement of social science subject, (2) the correlation between parents’ learning guidance with learning achievement of social subject, (3) the correlation between learning activeness and parents’ learning guidance with learning achievement of social science subject. The type of this study was a quantitative research. The data collecting techniques used questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis techniques used descriptive technique and hypothesis testing used Product Moment and double regression with two predictors that were started by an independence test, a normality test, and a linearity test. This study shows that the correlation coefficient of each independent variable had a positive correlation with dependent variable. The score of = 0.26557 > = 0.1912, it means that learning activeness had a positive and significant correlation with learning achievement of social science subject. The score of = 0.30402 > = 0.1912, it means that parents’ learning guidance had a positive and significant correlation with learning achievement of social science subject. The study shows that there is a positive and significant correlation between learning activeness and parents’ learning guidance with learning achievement of social science subject (Fregresi = 8.66415 > Ftabel=3.0884). It can be concluded that learning activeness and parents’ learning guidance have a correlation with learning achievement of social science subject among the fifth grade students of state elementary schools of Sultan Agung in Karanganyar Purbalingga. The score of R2 is 0.14521, it means that learning activeness and parents’ learning guidance gives contribution 14.521% toward learning achievement of social science subject, while 85.479% is explained by other factors that are not analyzed in regression model.
