Abstract

Algaetree is a closed cultivation system with a photobioreactor type created by Gadjah Mada University in collaboration with the Indonesian Institute of Arts Yogyakarta. The aim of this research was to see the effectiveness of the growth kinetics of the microalgae type Spirulina sp. The research was carried out by carrying out variations in data sampling at 3 (three) points where microalgae grow in Algaetree. The dose was 10 ml using the sampling method, then 2 ml was taken to be examined using a microscope and the number of microalgae cells found on the haemocytometer was counted. The microalgae cells were studied and counted on 4 haemocytometer columns, then the number of cells was accumulated and the standard deviation and growth kinetics were calculated using Microsoft Excel and Python software. As a result, it was found that the highest cell number of microalgae on the Algaetree was 69166.67 cells/ml, with a standard deviation of 4249.18, while the maximum growth kinetics of microalgae on the Algaetree with the Richard model and the Gompertz model, the most significant value was the Richard model, namely (miumax ) 1.9958, curve fitting parameter (A) 6.8700, stationary phase (V) 397.43, and r-square (R^2) close to 1, namely 0.9674. This value shows that there is a match between the data processed and the cultivation system used. The results of the cultivation process can be seen that the kinetics of microalgae growth is quite significant, meaning that spirulina type microalgae can grow well in a tool called Algaetree. In the next process, Algaetree can be used as a reference object for comparing microalgae growth from a closed cultivation system with an open cultivation system.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Coranova Trans Service Batam aims to 1) find out how competency, port rates and service quality influence customer satisfaction; 2) find out how port tariff competency and service quality influence loyalty through customer satisfaction; 3) find out how competence indirectly influences loyalty through customer satisfaction; 4) find out how port tariffs indirectly influence loyalty through customer satisfaction; 5) find out how service quality indirectly influences loyalty through customer satisfaction. The research method used is quantitative with descriptive research using a questionnaire instrument in the form of a Likert scale. The results of this research found that partially competency, port rates, and service quality have a significant and positive influence on customer satisfaction. Partially, competency, port rates and service quality have a significant and positive influence on customer loyalty. Competence, port rates and service quality have a significant and positive influence on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction at PT. Covanova Trans Services Batam

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability represented by return on asset, liquidity represented by current ratio and solvency represented by debt to equity ratio on dividend policy represented by dividend payout ratio. The method used in this research is quantitative with associative research type. The object of research is companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Indeks in 2020-2022. The sampling technique is purposive sampling so that there are 14 companies that are the object of research so that there are 42 observation data. The data in this study is panel data processed with the rstudio application. The results showed that return on asset has a significant negative effect on dividend payout ratio, current ratio has no significant effect on dividend payout ratio and debt to equity ratio has no significant effect on the dividend payout ratio. Simultaneously, all independent variabels have a significant effect on the dividend payout ratio. This research is useful for assessing the concept on finansial performance contained in finansial management using finansial ratios.

Abstract

Sungai Buluh Peat Protection Forest is a peat area with protected forest status in Jambi Province. Protected forests are not only aimed at preservation, and protection but also open up utilization opportunities for local communities. The utilization is through Social Forestry (SF) which turns part of the forest area into a Village Forest. This aims to open up opportunities and access for local communities. A critical ethnographic approach explains the meaning behind the reality, where the forest is not only protected but has an economic impact on the surrounding community. Through interviews, observation and documentation techniques, data was collected. Informants consisted of KPHD, KUPS, community leaders, stakeholders, KKI Warsi and local communities to provide their views on the village forest scheme and how it impacts their lives. The results show that forestry provides opportunities for community-based forest management with the aim of protection, preservation and utilization. Through KPHD the village forest is managed and provides economic opportunities through KUPS which consists of the community in Pematang Rahim Village. Thus, through social forestry the forest can be maintained and local communities experience economic improvement. However, the challenge is that efforts to sustain forest protection and utilization must be supported by all sectors so that forest management by the community provides welfare and maximum protection efforts are achieved.

Abstract

Business uncertainty during the Covid-19 pandemic triggers feelings of threat and discomfort for employees in carrying out their work. Employees are afraid of losing their jobs and making work stress higher. This study aims to determine the effect of job insecurity, performance, work stress, and turnover intention on employees during the Covid-19 pandemic. There were 101 respondents from the service industry who participated in this study. The results of the study show that even though job insecurity is high during the pandemic, it does not make employees intend to move if they feel they are performing well. However, turnover intention will be higher if employees feel that the discomfort at work has made them stressed at work. This study provides several suggestions of important implications for organizations in managing human resources during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The millennial generation, who grew up in the technological era, is a pioneer in the sociopreneurship phenomenon as a growing career trend. Their motivations involve concern for social and health issues, making them not only seekers of financial gain but also creators of real solutions to society's challenges. In facing competition and the impact of the pandemic, the enthusiasm and creativity of young sociopreneurs remains unwavering. Through marketing strategies via social media, they utilize technology to spread positive and educational messages to the public. This research, using a descriptive qualitative approach, discusses the character of young sociopreneurs from the millennial generation. The research method involved semi-structured interviews with three successful sociopreneurs, which were then analyzed using thematic analysis. The results illustrate that the sociopreneur character includes courage, creativity, and a focus on positive social change. These findings indicate that the millennial generation, with their technological understanding and humanitarian motivation, plays an important role in shaping an innovative and impactful social entrepreneurship landscape.

Abstract

The high number of child births and marriages in Indonesia today is a big problem and needs special attention in its handling to control the birth rate. One of the handling of high birth rates is the implementation of comprehensive development and family planning so that the behavior of using family planning becomes more effective. The effective use of family planning is influenced by several factors, including: knowledge, attitudes, number of children, income, husband's support, and support from health workers. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the behavior of early childhood couples in using family planning in the work area of the puskesmas Kotabaru.The research design is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional approach, which is carried out on a sample of 50 female couples of early age who were taken by purposive sampling. The chi-square analysis showed that there was a relationship between knowledge, income, husband's support, attitude, number of children , and support from health workers with the behavior of early married women in the use of family planning in the working area of Puskesmas Kotabaru.Through this research, the researchers suggested for the campaign to be more menggencarkan kb and improve the delivery of younger couples counseling to women in an effort to increase knowledge and disseminate, communication information and education (CIE) will benefit the use of contraception puskesmas Kotabaru.

Abstract

Numeracy literacy skills are the most important part of the abilities that every student must have. The limited number of numeracy literacy instruments at SMP Negeri 2 Jambi is one of the factors causing less than optimal mathematics learning. Students are still lacking in understanding questions, formulating, identifying and interpreting mathematical problems properly and correctly. To train these abilities, an ethnomathematics-based numeracy literacy test instrument is needed. This research aims to describe the process of developing an ethnomathematics-based numeracy literacy test instrument and determine the validity index of the ethnomathematics-based numeracy literacy test instrument. This research is development research that adapts the Plomp model which consists of initial assessment stage, design stage, realization/construction stage, and test, evaluation and revision stage. Data collection techniques in this research are field note techniques, questionnaire techniques, validation techniques and test techniques with research instruments in the form of field note sheets, questionnaire sheets, validation sheets and test questions. Data analysis uses Aiken's formula and empirical validity uses product moment correlation. The results of this research show that at the design stage, there was a difference of opinion between the two validators regarding the grid, there was one indicator question that was not in accordance with basic competencies. These differences are then analyzed and revised according to input and suggestions from the validator. The researcher improved the question grid as well as the test questions, resulting in good question items, and the results of content validation by 4 expert validators calculated using the Aiken's formula obtained a validity value of 0.785. These results indicate that the ethnomathematics-based numeracy literacy test instrument is declared valid from three aspects, namely; materials, constructs and language.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to investigate the extent to which rewards affect the performance of Agracipta Teenage Busana company. The research utilized a quantitative explanatory method based on the S-R theory. Data was collected through questionnaires from a population of 3,000 Busana Teenage Agracipta employees, selected using a simple random sampling technique. Simple linear regression was employed to measure the impact of independent variable (X) on the dependent variable (Y). Data from the questionnaires were analyzed using Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) version 24. Based on the findings from the simple linear regression, it was discovered that rewards have 35.3% effect on the performance of Agracipta Teenage.

Abstract

This research aimed to identify persona deixis in the short film entitled "Aku dan Mesin Waktu. Deixis is words that take meaning from the speech situation, whether in the form of person, time or place) when the words are used. The method in this research used a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection technique in this research used the listening and note-taking technique, while the data analysis technique in this research used data transcription procedures, data classification, data analysis and drawing conclusions. The results of this research found first person deixis (Aku/-ku, me, me, I and kita), second person deixis (Kamu/-mu, lo, and Mereka), third person deixis (Dia, Nya, and Mereka). ). The most dominant person deixis is first person deixis.
