Abstract

This research aims to increase students’ speaking ability by using flashcard props (picture cards). The method used is qualitative. The sample of this research is the students of class V SDN 205/IV Jambi, Academic Year 2022/2023. The results showed an increase in English speaking skills, which refers to the results of the final test and interviews given to students. Thus, the use of contextual learning models assisted by flashcards can improve the English speaking skills of students in class V SDN 205/IV Jambi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test, analyze and explain the impact of digital marketing and service quality on purchasing decisions. This independent research variable is digital marketing and service quality. While the dependent variable in this study is the purchase decision. This type of research uses quantitative research methods. The sample for this study was determined based on a minimum sample size of 10 times the number of measurement items used in the study. The analytical method used is linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that digital marketing variables have no significant effect on purchasing decisions. The service quality variable has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This research examines how the study of the implementation of pre-and post-operative patient safety in hospitals. The research used by researchers is a Systematic Literature Review with data obtained from journals and research articles from 2013-2023. The data source platforms used in this study are Google Scholar and PubMed. In this study, it is known that patient safety is an important health problem worldwide, and patient accidents in the operating room can cause serious problems. This miscommunication situation is a potential threat to patient safety because issues can easily go unnoticed by the rest of the team. Hospitals must provide a useful framework of requirements and safety protocols to address these challenges. One standard that can be used is the surgical safety checklist designed by WHO. The use of this list, in research, can increase safety procedurally, when surgery is performed, and after the action is given. Not only that, but hospitals must also provide formal instructions through various activities such as seminars, workshops, to conferences needed to increase awareness regarding patient safety before and after surgery.

Abstract

SiLPA is the remaining budget formed the financial management process in terms of regional revenue and terms of regional expenditure. SiLPA can occur as a result of exceeding PAD receipts, exceeding financing receipts, spending savings, obligations to third parties until the end of the year that have not been resolved and remaining funds due The purpose of this study is to determine the condition of SiLPA in Batang Hari Regency and the components that cause SiLPA in the 2017-2022 fiscal year. The research method used in this study is Descriptive Quantitative, describing the components estimated to trigger the occurrence of SiLPA. to non-achievement of performance targets and remaining financing expenditure funds. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the SiLPA of Batang Hari Regency occurs on average due to savings in regional spending. This can be compared to the regional revenue of Batang Hari Regency which on average does not exceed the APBD target during the 2017-2022 fiscal year period.

Abstract

The proportion of HIV-positive pregnant women in Indonesia rises annually. Pregnant women’s HIV test results in Indonesia fall a little short of the target for 2022. Knowledge is one of the most important aspects of the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV (PMTCT). The aim of this research is to determine the knowledge among pregnant women in Putat Jaya Community Health Care in Surabaya regarding the transmission of HIV from mothers to their children. Cross-sectional analysis is used in this descriptive study. There are 35 pregnant women who have responded. Mothers enrolled in trimesters 1, 2, and 3 who are getting antenatal care at Putat Jaya Community Health Care in Surabaya meet the inclusion criteria for this study. However, a mother with special needs is the sole requirement for this study. In September 2023, this study was carried out at Putat Jaya Community Health Care in Surabaya. The method for gathering samples is called purposive sampling. According to the findings, 77.1% were sufficiently aware of how to prevent HIV transmission from mother to child, followed by 14.3% who had high knowledge and 8.6% who had a lack of knowledge about the prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) of HIV.

Abstract

Geprek Bakar Tuku Sambal is one of the culinary delights in the city of Jambi, which sells a food menu that is in great demand by the people in the city of Jambi. This research aims to determine the partial and simultaneous effect of Digital Marketing and Promotion variables on purchasing decisions of Geprek Bakar Tuku Sambal, besides it is also to find out the most dominant variable in making purchasing decisions for Geprek Bakar Tuku Sambal. This research is comparative causal research with a quantitative approach. The variables in this study are Digital Marketing, Promotion, and Purchasing Decisions. The population of this research is regular customers of Geprek Bakar Tuku Sambal, with 69 respondents. The results of the study indicate that the partial influence of Digital Marketing and Promotion of each variable has a positive and significant effect on the decision, while simultaneously all variables X1 and X2 have a positive and significant effect on the buying decision of Geprek Bakar Tuku Sambal. The results of the analysis show that the value Adjusted R Square of 0.719 means that the variable Digital Marketing and Promotion 71.9% influences the purchasing decision of Geprek Bakar Tuku Sambal by 28.1% is influenced by other variables that were not examined in this study.

Abstract

Hotel Le Polonia is a hotel located in an urban area in the city of Medan. This hotel began operating in 1977 with a total of 51 rooms at that time. By offering a classic concept and providing good facilities and comfort for hotel visitors. Currently, the types of rooms offered by Hotel Le Polonia are superior deluxe, family room, premier deluxe, junior suite and polonia suite. This research uses quantitative descriptive research methods. The sample in the study was 110 samples. The results of this research show that the sig value for influencing employee competence on visitor satisfaction is 0.19 < 0.05 and the t-count value is 2,376 < t-table 1,983. The sig value for influencing the physical environment on visitor satisfaction is 0.045 < 0.05 and the t-count value is 2.033 > t-table 1.983. The sig value for influencing promotions on visitor satisfaction is 0.014 < 0.05 and the t-count value is 2,500 > t-table 1.983; It can be concluded that partially the variables of employee competency, physical environment and promotion have a positive and significant effect on visitor satisfaction at the Le Polonia Hotel Medan. F-count value 5.579 > F-table 2.69; This indicates that there is an influence of employee competence, physical environment, and promotion simultaneously on visitor satisfaction at Hotel Le Polonia.

Abstract

Acid mine drainage can be generated by coal stockpile piles, especially if the sulfur content is high which can have an impact on environmental health. The impact of coal stockpile runoff water pollution can be overcome by treating wastewater using phytoremediation. The author conducted a phytoremediation experiment using Echinodorus palaefolius plants with samples of coal stockpile runoff taken from the inlet of KPL C PT Bukit Asam Tbk Unit Dermaga Kertapati in June - August 2022, the experiment was carried out using three different treatments, namely 600gr, 700gr and 900gr which were observed for 7 days with parameters of pH, TSS, temperature and plant morphology. The results of the study showed that the pH parameter in the sample of 600 grams of plants, neutral pH was reached on the 4th day with a value of 6.03, in the sample of plants, 700 grams of neutral pH was reached on the 3rd day with a value of 6.11, on the treatment of plant samples. 900 gr neutral pH was reached on day 2 with a value of 6.10. On the TSS parameter, in all plant sample treatments, on day 2 the TSS value has reached the environmental quality standard value of 200 mg/l and the TSS value is decreasing day by day with the highest removal efficiency value obtained at 89.0% of the sample treatment. 900 gr plants on the 7th day. In the temperature parameter, the temperature value in the sample is relatively constant with temperatures ranging from 27.4°C - 31°C, which means it is still in normal conditions according to the required environmental quality standards. In the morphology of the Echinodorus palaefolius plant for 7 days, the plant underwent physical changes with some leaves withering and drying but there were also new shoots that appeared on the plant, but in general the water jasmine plant was able to survive and grow in the coal stockpile runoff water samples.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the significant influence of liquidity on dividend policy, the significant influence of solvency on dividend policy, the significant influence of profitability on dividend policy, the significant influence of liquidity on stock prices, the significant influence of solvency on stock prices, the influence of profitability on stock prices, the influence of dividend policy on share prices, and the ability of dividend policy to mediate the influence of liquidity on share prices, to ascertain whether dividend policy can effectively moderate the impact of profitability on share prices as well as the influence of solvency on share prices listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020–2022 period. This research uses quantitative methodology and associative descriptive research. The findings show that during the 2020-2022 period, dividend policies and share prices in restaurant, hotel and tourism companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange are significantly influenced by liquidity, solvency and profitability. Dividend policy will have a major impact on the share prices of restaurant, hotel and tourism companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The impact of liquidity on share prices can be mitigated through dividend policy. Dividend policy is unlikely to mitigate the impact of solvency on share prices. Dividend policy can act as a mediator between the impact of profitability on the share prices of restaurant, hotel and tourism companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of Hofstede's national cultural dimensions in the form of power distance, collectivism, uncertainty avoidance, feminism, and long term organization on employee performance in financial management in the Kupang City Government. This type of research is based on the characteristics of the research variables using survey research. By using a correlative associative quantitative approach (causal/cause and effect). The research results show that the variables power distance, individualism, masculinity, long term organization have a positive and significant effect on employee performance in financial management. Meanwhile, the uncertainty advoidance variable has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance in financial management in the Kupang City Government.
