Jurnal Ilmiah Psikologi Inquiry ISSN 1979-7273 (Print); ISSN 2540-9255 (Online) diterbitkan oleh program studi psikologi Universitas Paramadina yang mengakomodir publikasi karya ilmiah baik yang bersifat penelitian lapangan, review buku, tinjauan teoretik atau inovasi teoretik dalam bidang psikologi atau perilaku manusia. Abstract

Conformity often arises in student organizations when individuals adjust to group norms to gain social acceptance, including in the Boyolali Student Association (IMB), which has a distinctive regional and cultural identity. This phenomenon attracts further attention because it can demonstrate the social dynamics formed from the intersection of group norms and cultural identity. This study aims to explore the meaning of conformity among members of the Boyolali Student Association (IMB) with four subjects aged 18–25 years selected through purposive sampling according to the criteria of active members. The method used is qualitative phenomenological through semi-structured interviews and Descriptive Phenomenological Analysis (DPA). The results show conformity reflected through cohesiveness, agreement, and obedience. Overall, conformity in the Boyolali Student Association (IMB) is adaptive and supports group stability.

Abstract

Almost everyone can potentially become a victim of sexual violence and experience varying levels of anxiety when faced with it. This study aims to develop a tool to measure anxiety about sexual violence in college students. The sample size was 286 students, using a purposive sampling technique. Data were obtained from the Sexual Violence Anxiety Scale, developed based on Nevid's theory and comprising 24 items, covering three aspects: physical, behavioral, and cognitive. The data analysis methodology used to test construct validity was Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), processed using the Jamovi data analysis application. The test items were proven to be unidimensional (valid), and the scale's reliability was coefficient  Cronbach's Alpha of 0.975, indicating consistency in measuring anxiety about sexual violence in the students sampled in this study
