Abstract

To cope with the growth of the human population, the government makes policies to anticipate the population explosion which is increasing every year. One of them is the family planning (KB) program, this program aims to control births for married couples. This program has existed and been implemented in Indonesia since 1957 until now. From government programs, in fact there are contraceptive methods in Indonesia that are low in demand, one of which is the implant method. The implant method in Indonesia does tend to be small when compared to other long-term methods. The BKKBN stated that implant users in 2019 were only 7.4%, far below the pill and injection methods. In his study, (Putri, Rahma, 2015) concluded that knowledge has a relationship with the choice of implant contraceptive types. There are several factors that influence the low use of implant contraception in Indonesia. Studies conducted by (Triyanto, L. Indriani, 2018) stated that age, education, employment and family planning service sources could influence the use of Long-Term Contraceptive Methods (MKJP) in Women of Reproductive Age (WUS) including in the selection of implants as a contraceptive method. This literature review uses a narrative research study of the literature which describes the factors causing the low interest in contraceptive implants. The sample uses 5 research articles. The conclusion from this literature review is that age, knowledge, perceptions of the mother and sources of information are the factors causing the low interest in KB implant acceptors. In addition, there is the participation of health workers, cadres and all levels of society to support the implementation of counseling and good KIE so that information about family planning implants reaches the community properly and correctly. It is hoped that family planning service providers will provide even better efforts in sharing information and counseling and KIE about family planning implants to acceptors and prospective family planning acceptors. Researchers hope that the results of this study can be used as a reference for further research with a wider range of variable

Abstract

One of the other things that causes high IMR is giving MP ASI too early. The high provision of Complementary Food for Early Breastfeeding is influenced by family support. The internal factor that influences early complementary feeding is the mother's attitude. Tanjung Seloka Health Center, Kotabaru Regency, is the health center with the third lowest coverage of exclusive breastfeeding, namely 83.7%. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between family support and mother's attitude with early complementary breastfeeding to infants aged <6 months in the work area of the Tanjung Seloka Health Center, Kotabaru District. The results show that 18 respondens (85.7%) who gave MP-ASI early to infants aged <6 months did not receive adequate family support. Statistical analysis reveals a significant relationship between family support and early complementary feeding (p-value = 0,000 < 0,005). Furthermore, all 15 respondents (100%) who gave MP-ASI early complementary feeding (p-value = 0,000 < 0.005). The conlusion: family support and maternal attitude significantly influence the early provision of complementary feeding to infants aged <6 months in the working area of the Tanjung Seloka Health Center, Kotabaru Distric. Strengthening family support and fostering positive maternal attitudes are essential to promoting exclusive breastfeeding practices.

Abstract

One of the causes of postpartum maternal deaths is infection in the perineal wound due to lack of adequate wound care, which causes secondary bleeding during the postpartum period, as well as triggering local and general infections. The impact of perienal suture wounds can cause infection and disruption of the mother's movements and activities. Accelerating wound healing during the postpartum period is highly expected, one of which is by consuming high levels of protein, namely eggs. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of giving boiled eggs on healing perineal wounds in postpartum mothers. The observation case study method using observation sheets and checklists with a continuity of care approach was given to postpartum mothers, Mrs. R at Adeyane Midwife Independent Practice, Tanggamus Regency from 30 December- 3 January 2024. Data analysis by comparing the data obtained with existing theory. Complementary midwifery care for postpartum mothers by consuming boiled eggs twice a day for a week or as long as the wound has not healed. As a result, giving postpartum mothers boiled egg whites will speed up the healing of perineal wounds. It is expected that providers of midwifery care services will always maintain existing midwifery services and continue to develop the latest knowledge.

Abstract

Nuclei as a cell nucleus have been found since the 18th century. This discovery was then developed for the need for methods for diagnosing pathogenic organisms of an infectious disease at that time. The aim of this study is to review the principle of nucleic acid amplification test and describe the existing evidence regarding the role of the test in respiratory diseases. The study use the keywords, such as nucleic acid, diagonsis and nucleic acid amplification test, to invesitage relevant studies in PubMed and Google Scholar database. We found that nucleic acid-based testing techniques have evolved to adapt to the need for early and rapid detection and rely on a high level of accuracy. This continuously developed technology can replace conventional test methods. Conventional examination is known to take longer time so the definitive therapeutic might be delayed. However, there is still an obstacle, namely the cost of tests quite expensive because of the standard procedure that must be strictly followed, otherwise result might not be valid. The technique from the beginning needs to be carried out following the procedure, starting with the preparation of tools, how to take samples, how to deliver the samples to the laboratory, and how to process and analyze data. This procedure is necessary to minimize false positive or negative results. As a conclusion, nucleic acid assays is beneficial in pulmonary infectious diseases diagnosis, however it is high-cost and not recommended for treatment evaluation in pulmonary infection.
