Abstract

This paper discusses the dynamics of implementing the Emergency Community Activity Restriction (PPKM) policy in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic in the city of Padang, which has been taking place effectively since last July 2021. Several problems arise lack of available resources, weak supervision, and coordination mechanisms that have not been running optimally. However, the implementation of the PPKM policy in Indonesia, including in the city of Padang, has succeeded in reducing the prevalence of Covid 19 virus transmission with all the dynamics it faces. This paper is designed with a qualitative approach, namely by using an analysis of secondary data originating from both print and electronic media as well as a critique of various regulations related to the implementation of PPKM policies both at the national level and at the regional level, especially the City of Padang. The analysis was carried out using the concept of policy implementation as an analytical knife in dissecting the data presented in this paper.

Abstract

Spatial modeling of landslide hazards in the Tarusan watershed is an effort to reduce losses due to landslide disasters. The purpose of this article is; determine the frequency ratio value of each parameter that causes landslides, and perform spatial modeling of landslide hazards using the frequency ratio method. The method used is a quantitative method with a modeling approach to determine the pixel value based on the frequency ratio. The results of the research show that the largest frequency value is found in the land cover parameter in the form of mixed gardens with an FR value of 2, 10, and rainfall with an FR value of 2.06. Thus, the triggering factors for landslides in the Tarusan watershed are changes in land cover and rainfall. The results of landslide hazard modeling in the Tarusan watershed show a high hazard area of 2095.41 ha or 7.39%, a medium hazard area of 4148.73 ha or 14.63%, and a low hazard area of 22117.46 ha or 77.98%. Key words: hazard, landslide, spatial model

Abstract

The Coastal and Small Islands Zoning Plan (RZWP3K) is a plan that determines the direction of utilization of the resources of each planning unit is accompanied by the determination of the structure and spatial patterns in the planning regions. The purpose of this research is to analyze the marine spatial allocations and utilization arrangement of RZWP3K in West Sumatra Province. The research method used is the analysis of environmental suitability criteria is done through the procedures of Geographic Information System (GIS) in the form of overlap parameters biophysical of coastal/marine waters. Spatial utilization arrangements are based on the procedure for the preparation of the RZWP3K and the Minister of Marine and Fisheries regulations of the Republic of Indonesia (Permen KP) No. 23/2016. Results of the analysis of the RZWP3K in West Sumatra Province divided into 4 regions, i.e general utilization, conservation, certain national strategic, and cruise groove. General utilization (3,041,610, 20 ha) consist of tourism, port, capture fisheries, aquaculture, mangrove, industrial, public facility, and other utilization. Conservation (196,905.34 ha) consist of conservation of waters, coastal, and small islands. Certain national strategic regions (331,683.99 ha) consist of defence and security zones. RZWP3K are important documents of the Provincial Government in Indonesia as the basis for the business permit granting in waters (marine).

Abstract

The Mandeh regions is one of the coastal and marine ecosystems in the Province of WestSumetera. Mandeh regions has mangrove forests, seagrass beds and sizable coral reefs. Nowadays, Mandehregions has been completed in the development, especially in development of road access to increase theacceleration of the development of Mandeh tourist destinations as a new destination in West Sumatra. However, in that development, it turns out that it has affected many forest ecosystems and coastal and marineecosystems, one of which is the reduction of blue carbon which is one of the ways to mitigate climate change. Therefore, this research is very important to do considering the impact of development on the coastal andmarine ecosystems. This research is the first study conducted in the Mandeh regions with a focus on estimatingblue carbon stored in mangrove forests and coral reefs. This study aims to determine and analyze the bluecarbon contained in the Mandeh regions after the development, especially the opening of roads. The resultsshowed that from 1999 to 2019 there was an ecosystems degradation which caused a decrease in carbon stocks.Estimated carbon stock in the mangrove ecosystem is around 257 Mg.C / Ha and coral reefs 3291 g.C / m2.Estimated carbon stock is not much different from other studies in Indonesia, thus after the opening of the roadin Mandeh regions does not significantly affect mangrove ecosystems and coral reefs, so that ocean carbonuptake, is still quite large.

Abstract

Education is a long life need. Every human being needs education, when and wherever he is. Education is very important because without human education it will be difficult to develop and even be retarded. Education is a conscious endeavor and aims to develop quality. The definition of education according to the Law (UU) of the National Education System No. 20/2003 is a conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students actively develop their potential to have religious-spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and skills needed by themselves, society, nation, and state. With education, it is hoped that humans will know all the advantages that have the potential for a better quality of life than before. Based on the findings obtained, it can be concluded that learning outcomes are the abilities possessed by students after receiving their learning experiences and these results can be used by teachers to be used as measures or criteria in achieving an educational goal and this can be achieved if students understand learning with accompanying learning by changing behavior for the better.

Abstract

Changes and improvements in the field of education include various components involved in it, both implementing education in the field (teachers' competence and quality of teaching staff), quality of education, curriculum devices, educational facilities and infrastructure, and quality of education management, including changes in learning methods and strategies used. more innovative. Efforts to change and improve are aimed at bringing the quality of education in Indonesia to be better. This study aims to determine the application of the Canva application-based Think-Talk-Write (TTW) strategy to increase student motivation and student learning outcomes in Geography. The method used is a systematic literature review (SLR). The data sources analyzed by the literature can be in the form of books, scientific articles, research journals, research reports, seminar proceedings, and so on. The results of the analysis of several reviewed articles found that the application of an effective TTW strategy based on the Canva application was used by teachers because the TTW strategy invited students to explore students minds by discussing strategies for problem-solving questions that would indirectly improve students' learning motivation, and provide a positive view of the subject of geography.
