Abstract

Bruner's stage of cognitive development is an alternative to knowing the characteristics of students other than Piaget's. It is hoped that teachers can find out the characteristics of students in thinking to prepare learning strategies that adjust to the characteristics of these students. For this reason, this research aims to describe Bruner's stages of thinking in grade 2 elementary school students on the theme of Caring for Animals and Plants. This research uses a qualitative approach with a single subject. The subjects in this study used a purposive technique, namely one 2nd-grade elementary school student. The instrument used in this study was the researcher as the main instrument and supported by documents of students' homework answers. Data analysis used descriptive techniques with data reduction steps, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that subject K used the stages of enactive and iconic thinking, while the stages of symbolic thinking were not carried out. For this reason, the teacher in giving problems is expected not to conflict with real life, and the issues faced by students must be seen clearly so as not to cause multiple interpretations by students.

Abstract

This reseach to determine the increase in learning outcomes in Pancasila and civic education subjects using the Problem Based Learning learning model. This research is one of the solutions to improve student learning outcomes through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model, which is a learning model that involves the activeness of students to always think critically and skillfully in solving a problem. The method used in this research is classroom action research (PTK) which is a research model that includes four components or stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were third grade students of SDN Guyung 4 in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The subjects in this study amounted to 11 students consisting of 9 boys and 2 girls. The instruments (data collection tools) used are questions, interviews, documentation and observation sheets. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it shows an increase in student evaluation results, which initially averaged 62,72 in the pre-cycle, increased in cycle I, students had an average of 66,36 while in cycle II they had an average of 80 with a percentage increase from pre-cycle to cycle I of 3,64% and cycle I to cycle II increased by 13,64% and from pre-cycle to cycle II increased by 17,28%. Thus, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve student learning outcomes in Pancasila and citizenship education subjects in the material of the Pancasila principles in class III SDN Guyung 4, Gerih District, Ngawi Regency.

Abstract

This classroom action research was conducted to overcome problematic thematic learning outcomes in limited face-to-face learning for blind students at SLB Yaketunis Yogyakarta. This study uses a classroom action research approach. The research design uses the Kurt Lewin Model with two cycles where each cycle consists of four stages of activity: planning, implementation, observation/observation, and reflection. Each cycle was carried out and completed in two meetings. Data collection techniques are carried out through tests, compliance, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using a quantitative descriptive approach. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that (1) students' interest and motivation in thematic learning activities using the scientific method approach, which utilizes Asik audio with thematic content, can have a positive impact on blind students so that learning outcomes increase in each cycle; (2) students are more active in responding to the teacher's stimulus in learning as evidenced through performance responses.

Abstract

Computational Thinking is one of the competencies added in the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. Based on observation, SDN Gedongtengen has not implemented the Merdeka Belajar curriculum and will implement the Merdeka Belajar curriculum in the coming academic year so that students need to train computational thinking skills. This research is a descriptive study that aims to describe the application of problem-based learning to train Computational Thinking skills on the characterization material of fictional stories. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and worksheets and used quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. This study involved 25 fourth grade students. The results of this study are the 1) implementation of problem based learning has positive impact of computational thinking skill; 2) the percentage of classical completeness of student learning outcomes reached 96%; 3)the response of students is very high with an average score of 3.5 so it can be concluded that the application of Problem Based Learning on the material characterization of fictional stories has a positive impact on Computational Thinking ability.

Abstract

Implementation of thematic learning that is carried out online is centered on the teacher so that it makes students not active when participating in lessons. The purpose of this study was to find out whether there was an increase in the learning outcomes of third grade elementary school students through Problem Based Learning (PBL). This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The PTK model used is the spiral from C. Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The research procedure uses at least 2 cycles with a note that if each cycle shows an increase in learning outcomes, each cycle consists of planning, implementing actions and observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques using test techniques. The research instrument is in the form of item questions. The results of the research show that the Problem Based Learning learning model has an effect on the learning outcomes of third grade elementary school students through PBL. It can be concluded that the PBL learning model can improve student learning outcomes. The implications of this research have an impact on an active and fun learning atmosphere so that it can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research focused on the application of Marhaban media (Mading with Rights and Obligations) as a means of improving student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education subjects at SDN Bogem 1. The research used the PTK (Classroom Action Research) method including four stages, namely, planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject of the research was class IV SDN Bogem 1 which amounted to 9 students, including 6 male students and 3 female students. Instruments using interview sheets, question items, observation sheets and documentation. The results of learning improvement through the application of Marhaban (Mading with Rights and Obligations) media can be seen based on the pre-cycle class average score of 63.3 to 72.2 in cycle I, and 83.3 in cycle II. Students who reached the KKM increased from 33.4% to 55.5% in cycle I and to 88.8% in cycle II. The value of student learning outcomes that are below the KKM has decreased from 66.6% at the pre-cycle stage to 44.5% in cycle I and 11.2% in cycle II.
