Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve short story writing skills using the Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) model in Class IV SDI Bontosunggu. The type of this research is classroom action research. The results showed that learning to write short stories cycle I was unsatisfactory and the class atmosphere was less conducive. Teachers have not carried out learning activities to the fullest, so there are still students who find it difficult to express ideas or ideas in writing short stories. The learning process in cycle II was more effective and satisfying after improvements were made to the problems in cycle I. In cycle II students were more enthusiastic and motivated to take part in learning, worked together in groups, and it was not difficult when expressing ideas in writing short stories. This increase can be seen from the average student score as a whole in cycle I of 69.5 while the score in cycle II was 86.1 with a percentage increase of 16.6%. All aspects of assessment are classified as very poor in cycle I and increase to a good category in cycle II.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is descriptively to find out: 1) The contribution of teaching factory learning outcome to the work culture of class XI students in the field of culinary expertise in the Academic Year of 2022/2023, 2) The results of teaching factory learning in class XI students in the field of culinary expertise at Yogyakarta 6th State Vocational High School Academic Year of 2022/2023, and 3) Work culture of class XI students in the field of culinary expertise at State Vocational High School 6 Yogyakarta Academic Year of 2022/2023. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study is 142 students of class XI in the field of culinary expertise. The research sample consists of 58 students using a proportional random sampling technique with the slovin formula. Data collection uses questionnaires and documentation. Testing the validity of the instrument using the product moment correlation with n = 30 of 20 statement items and obtained 17 valid items and 3 failed items (No. 3, 4, and 8), the reliability test used Cronbach's Alpha on the student work culture variable (Y) with a value coefficient 0.824. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis techniques and product moment correlation which is preceded by a prerequisite test, namely the normality test and linearity test. The results of the study show that (1) there is a contribution between teaching factory learning outcomes on the work culture of class XI students in the field of culinary expertise at SMK Negeri 6 Yogyakarta for the Academic Year of 2022/2023 with a determinant coefficient calculation of 0.117. This is indicated by the results of the value of r count = 0.342 > r table = 0.254, (2) The results of teaching factory learning in class XI in culinary expertise at SMK Negeri 6 Yogyakarta for the 2022/2023 academic year are included in the good category with a relative frequency of 98.3%, (3) The work culture of class XI students in the field of culinary expertise at SMK Negeri 6 Yogyakarta for the Academic Year of 2022/2023 is included in the high category with a relative frequency of 48%.

Abstract

The research aims to describe the learning motivation and learning outcomes of students with the application of picture and picture model on narrative text. Data collection techniques in this study used tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study are qualitative data analysis techniques and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of learning motivation in pre-cycle activities were 51.33%, in cycle I it was not maximized with a result of 74.58%, and in cycle II it increased with a final result of 83.61%. The results of pre-class activities on narrative text writing skills were 57.85%, in cycle I experienced a slight increase with a result of 70%, and in cycle II experienced an increase with a result of 80%. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that learning narrative text writing skills using the picture and picture model can increase learning motivation and learning outcomes of students in class VII-B MTs Negeri 5 Sleman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan bernalar kritis pada implementasi projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila di tahap perkembangan operasional konkrit. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek tunggal. instrumen penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri, lembar kerja milik “S” pada tahapan pengenalan, perencanaan projek, dan lembar observasi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode think aloud dan wawancara tak terstruktur. Analisis data pada penelitian ini mengacu pada model Miles and Huberman. Melalui penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa subyek “S”, siswa kelas 4 Sekolah Dasar yang berusia 10 tahun mempunyai kemampuan bernalar kritis yang sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan kognitif jean piaget . Subyek “S” berada pada tahapan operasional konkrit. Hasil Penelitian ini dapat menjadi landasan guru Sekolah Dasar dalam menyusun perencanaan projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila di fase B kelas 4.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis budaya adalah tentang situasi otentik yang secara langsung dapat diakses oleh siswa dalam kehidupannya sebagai komunitas di sekitarnya, sehingga mengintegrasikan budaya dalam pembelajaran matematika. Diharapkan dapat membantu untuk memahami hubungan antara budaya dan matematika, sehingga meningkatkan kualitas pengetahuan matematika siswa dan masyarakat dapat menjadi lebih akurat dan dapat diakses, serta memanfaatkan budaya tertentu yang ada dalam kelompok masyarakat, termasuk berpikir, bekerja, akting dan berbicara, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan Matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsep geometri yang terkandung dalam seni rebana santri pondok pesantren Raudlatul Ulum 2. Subjek penelitian ini adalah santri pondok pesantren Raudlatul Ulum 2. Konsep geometri yang terdapat pada kesenian rebana merupakan kajian etnomatematika yang menghubungkan konsep geometri dengan koteks dunia nyata. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yang berarti peneliti ingin menggali secara mendalam tentang sebab-akibat atau faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peristiwa tertentu. Peneliti ingin menggambarkan dan menguraikan secara mendalam faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peristiwa yang terjadi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kesenian Rebana adalah suatu tradisi yang diajarkan di Pondok Pesantren Raudlatul Ulum 2. Konsep-konsep geometri yang terdapat pada kesenian Rebana adalah: garis, sudut, bangun datar, panjang Lebar dan tinggi yang mana pada penelitian ini difokuskan pada materi geometri dimensi tiga.

Abstract

Self-concept and learning discipline on student achievement play an important role, because self-concept and learning discipline can affect students' mathematical abilities. The purpose of this study is "Analysis of Student Self-Concept and Discipline Against Mathematics". This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. This research was conducted for 2 months at MAN 1 Probolinggo. The population of this study was 665 students of MAN 1 Probolinggo. The research sample was 42 students of class XI IIS. The results showed that students' self-concept towards mathematics produced the most frequency, namely 22 people (52.4%) in the medium category, followed by the high and low categories. Student learning discipline towards mathematics in the moderate category is the highest frequency, namely 21 people (50%), followed by the high category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ability to think reflectively in solving math word problems in class XI SMA Muhammadiyah Sungguminasa. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The instruments used were a learning style questionnaire, a reflective thinking ability test and an interview guide. The subjects in this study were 3 students of class XI SMA Muhammadiyah Sungguminasa, each of which represented a category of visual learning styles, auditory learning styles and kinesthetic learning styles. The data collection technique used is to provide learning styles, reflective thinking ability tests and interviews. Data analysis techniques in this study are data condensation, data presentation and data verification. The results showed that students with visual and auditory learning styles were able to fulfill 4 indicators of reflective thinking skills. So that this subject includes students who have good reflective thinking skills. Meanwhile, students with a kinesthetic learning style are only able to fulfill 2 of the 4 indicators of reflective thinking skills.

Abstract

This research aims to produce science electronic student worksheet based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) on environmental pollution material, determine the quality of the electronic student worksheet that has been developed, and determine students' responses to the electronic student worksheet that has been developed. According to Thiagarajan, this type of research includes research and development with the 4D development model through the Define, Design, Develop stages. Observation, interview, and questionnaire techniques were used to collect data, while data collection instruments had observation sheets, interview sheets, expert assessment sheets and student response questionnaire sheets. The V-Aiken index and descriptive data analysis were used to analyze the data. The results of this research include: a CTL-based science electronic student worksheet on environmental pollution material for seventh grade middle school students has been produced through the development stages of define, design, develop; the quality of the science electronic student worksheet is declared valid with high criteria; and students responded very agreeably to the CTL-based science electronic student worksheet. Thus, the CTL-based science electronic student worksheet has met the eligibility criteria as junior high school science teaching materials.

Abstract

This study aims to develop guidelines through analysis of skills education management for children with disabilities through the Ticket to Life (TTL) program at SLBN 2 Bantul. These guidelines/guidelines are restricted to scout teachers/coaches. Education of scouting technical skills of students with Skills need to be possessed by children with disabilities as part of children/adolescents at the age of students in general so that they are independent, confident, resilient, empowered, able to support themselves and/or others so as to achieve quality life, progress, develop, dignity, prosperity born inside. These achievements need a forum for training activities. The Asia Pacific Region (APR) Ticket to Life (TTL) program cares deeply about disadvantaged (vulnerable) children/adolescents such as disabilities, by providing skills education and elevating their dignity. Disability is one cluster that has not been addressed by Ticket To Life in the world. According to his disability, the development of motor skills of scouting techniques was chosen. The purpose of this study is to develop guidelines through the analysis of skills education management for children with disabilities through the Ticket to Life (TTL) program at SLBN 2 Bantul. These guidelines/guidelines are restricted to scout teachers/coaches. Research and Development design with development design according to Sugiyono (2009), with test subjects are principals, teachers/scout assistants/coaches, students, and the Ticket to Life team.  Data collection and analysis techniques with observation, interviews, documentation, and SWOT. The results showed that the development of these guidelines was able to make scouting skills education for children with disabilities through the Ticket to Life program at SLBN 2 Bantul effective and successful with indicators of independence, confidence, social sense and high solidarity, happy to be able to complete tasks, according to the objectives of the Ticket to Life program namely the emergence of Self Worth (gaining recognition as a human being / valued), obtaining Education (education), building Self Esteem (self-confidence), Team Spirit (spirit of togetherness), and Personal Development (self-development into responsible adults. This guide/guideline is expected to be applied to other scouting technique materials so that students master the scouting technique.

Abstract

Critical thinking as 21st-century skill is important, but students' low critical thinking skills are a problem that is often found. This study aims to develop STEM digital media to improve students' critical thinking skills on Archimedes' principle. The subjects of this research included 15 validators and 42 students of SMP Negeri 2 Balai. This type of research is Research & Development (R&D) with nine steps of the Dick, Carey, & Carey instructional model. Product validation results show Aiken's V average in the design, media, and material aspects of 0.85; 0.93; and 0.89 so that the media is declared valid in each aspect. The results of formative evaluation in one-to-one evaluation, small group evaluation and field trial evaluation are categorized as very good. The N-gain value from the pretest and posttest is known to be 0.36 (moderate). The effect size of media is 2.44 (high). The implication of this research is the STEM approach combined with digital media has a positive influence on students' critical thinking skills.
