Abstract

ABSTRACT The microchemical test is a method to determine the content of compounds in plants. The materials used are porang tubers, potatoes, corn, peanuts, guava leaves, lime leaves, ylang flowers, purple sweet potatoes, cassava and coconut shells. Preparations were made using thin slices which were cut with a clam on hand microtome, then the reagent was dripped on the thin slices on an object glass and covered with a deck glass, then observed using a microscope. The starch test on sweet potato, cassava, potato, and porang preparations showed yellow or brown starch; the cellulose test on the corn preparations showed that the cellulose cells were swollen and blue; the protein test on peanut preparations showed a color change to brick red; lignin test on coconut shell showed violet-red color; tannin test on guava leaf preparations showed a dark brown color; lipid test on lime and ylang leaf preparations showed red globules and reducing sugar test on sweet potato and corn preparations showed brick red color. Identification and characterization in microchemical tests were carried out to identify differences in color and crystal formation in plant samples after the administration of specific reagents. Bahan yang digunakan adalah umbi porang, kentang, jagung, kacang tanah, daun jambu, daun jeruk, bunga kenanga, ubi jalar ungu, singkong dan tempurung kelapa. Preparat dibuat dengan menggunakan irisan tipis yang dipotong dengan clam on hand microtome, kemudian reagen diteteskan pada irisan tipis di atas object glass dan ditutup deck glass, selanjutnya diamati menggunakan mikroskop. Uji amilum pada preparat ubi jalar, singkong, kentang dan porang menunjukkan amilum berwarna kuning atau coklat; uji selulosa pada preparat jagung menunjukkan sel selulosa membengkak dan berwarna biru; uji protein pada preparat kacang tanah menunjukan perubahan warna menjadi merah bata; uji lignin pada tempurung kelapa menunjukan warna violet merah; uji tanin pada preparat daun jambu menunjukkan warna coklat gelap; uji lipid pada preparat daun jeruk dan kenanga menunjukkan globulus berwarna merah dan uji gula reduksi pada preparat ubi jalar dan jagung menunjukan warna merah bata. Identifikasi dan karakterisasi pada uji mikrokimia dilakukan untuk mengenali perbedaan warna dan bentukan kristal pada sampel tanaman setelah pemberian reagen spesifik. Abstract

This research aims to develop a Culture-based English e-book aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum for Phase E in MA Al-Bairuny, Jombang. The Merdeka Curriculum is expected to provide a more contextual and culturally relevant learning experience for students. Using the ADDIE method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), this study focuses on the validation of the e-book product.The analysis phase identified the needs of students and teachers, highlighting that the current curriculum does not adequately address the cultural diversity of the students. The design phase resulted in an e-book with English content focusing on text types rooted in Indonesian culture. Material and media validation were conducted by education and media experts, resulting in "excellent" ratings for both aspects. Implementation involved student response testing, which showed high satisfaction with the e-book.The findings of this research confirm that the e-book aligns with the Merdeka Curriculum, integrates cultural values, and receives positive feedback from students. This e-book can serve as a relevant alternative to enhance English language learning in Phase E and should be expanded for broader use.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to design learning media named SEGA (Speaking English Games) to help mentally disable students of 7thgrade Junior High School at SLB Muhammadiyah Jombang. This research focuses on student’s vocabulary mastery by using games as learning media. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). This development used ADDIE model which consist of: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research result was got through the process of need analysis, material validation, media validation, and students’ responses. To collect the data, researcher used observation, interviews, and questionnaire. The result average material validation got 92% and it was in “Very Good” category, while the result average media validation got 92,5% and it was in “Very Good” category. Subject of this research was mentally disable students in 7thgrade Junior High School at SLB Muhammadiyah Jombang. The students’ responses of tried out result got 95% was in “Very Good” category. Based on those result, it can be concluded that SEGA (Speaking Eglish Games) learning media is feasible or deserved to be used as learning media to improve students’ vocabulary mastery. Abstract

The Pancasila student profile is a form of implementing the noble values of Pancasila in learning. Learning that contains character values and competencies characteristic of learning includes the Pancasila student profile. In line with developments in science and technology, today's learning media is integrated with renewable technology and the internet, for example, the learning media of electronic student activity sheets or E-LKPD. This research aims to describe the validity of the electronic worksheet containing the profile of Pancasila students on protist material. Electronic worksheet development refers to the 4D method, which consists of the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The research instrument is a validation sheet that material experts and education experts will validate. The results of the electronic worksheet development show validity with a percentage of agreement of 94% in the valid category. Based on the results of this assessment, it can be concluded that the electronic worksheet, which was developed with a Pancasila student profile on protist material, was declared valid and suitable for use by students. Pembelajaran yang berisi nilai karakter serta kompetensi yang menjadi karakteristik pembelajaran bermuatan profil pelajar Pancasila. Selaras dengan perkembangan IPTEK, media pembelajaran masa kini sudah terintegrasi dengan teknologi terbaharukan dan internet, contohnya media pembelajaran lembar kegiatan peserta didik elektronik atau E-LKPD. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mendeskripsikan validitas E-LKPD bermuatan profil pelajar Pancasila pada materi protista. Pengembangan E-LKPD mengacu pada metode 4D yang terdiri atas tahapan define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi yang akan divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli pendidikan. Hasil dari pengembangan E-LKPD menunjukkan validitas dengan percentage of agreement sebesar 94% dengan kategori valid. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-LKPD yang dikembangkan dengan bermuatan profil pelajar Pancasila pada materi protista dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan pada peserta didik. Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine the morphology of Simplicillium sp. which can be used as a teaching media in the identification of pathogenic fungi, useful in practical technology for the propagation of biological agents. The research was carried out in the microbiology laboratory at Universitas KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah Jombang, June – August 2023. This type of research is qualitative which aims to determine the morphological characteristics of the fungus Simplicillium lanosoniveum CG888 from the collection of the Faculty of Agriculture UNWAHA as a data source. Data collection methods include observations carried out macroscopically and microscopically, and documentation. Data obtained from observations are compared with existing literature in books and supporting literature to identify the data. The results showed that the colonies of the fungus S. lanosoniveum were white on the upper surface, and yellowish on the bottom. The growth of the colony forms a circle, the edges are white with the growth of new hyphae. The texture of the colony is like wavy cotton with thick mycelia. This fungus has hyaline and septate hyphae. They are branched and tend to be arranged regularly, tapering towards the tip, and have phialids. Phialids produce conidia attached to their tips. Conidia are transparent, small and round in shape. Simplicillium lanosoniveum CG888 has chitinase enzyme activity in it. It is hoped that this teaching media can help students to increase their knowledge of the identification and propagation of fungi which act as biological agents. Penelitian dilaksanakan di laboratorium mikrobiologi Universitas KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah Jombang, bulan Juni – Agustus 2023. Jenis penelitian bersifat kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik morfologi cendawan Simplicillium lanosoniveum koleksi Fakultas Pertanian Unwaha sebagai sumber data. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi observasi yang dilakukan secara makroskopis dan mikroskopis, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan dibandingkan dengan literatur yang ada pada buku dan penunjang pustaka untuk mengidentifikasi data tersebut. Hasil penelitian diperoleh koloni cendawan S. lanosoniveum pada permukaan atas berwarna putih, dan di bawah kekuning – kuningan. Pertumbuhan koloni membentuk bulatan, bagian pinggir berwarna putih dengan adanya pertumbuhan hifa baru. Tekstur koloni seperti kapas bergelombang dengan miselia yang tebal. Cendawan tersebut mempunyai hifa hyalin dan bersepta. Hifa bercabang dengan letak cenderung teratur, dengan meruncing ke ujung, dan terdapat phialid. Phialid menghasilkan konidium yang menempel diujungnya. Konidia transparan, berukuran kecil dan berbentuk bulat. Simplicillium lanosoniveum CG888 terdapat aktivitas enzim kitinase di dalamnya. Diharapkan media ajar tersebut dapat membantu mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan pengetahuannya terhadap identifikasi dan perbanyakan cendawan yang berperan sebagai agens hayati. Abstract

ABSTRACT The importance of learning models in the learning process has a huge impact on student understanding and learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to identify, reconstruct and apply the Mufrodat learning model based on Multiple Intelligence. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and document study. From the data obtained, conclusions were drawn using triangulation. As a result of this research, the emergence of verbal-linguistic, visual-spatial, physical-kinesthetic and logical-mathematical intelligence was reconstructed into a mufrodat learning model based on Multiple Intelligence theory. The aim is to make it easier for students to receive and understand the material so that learning can run effectively and optimally. ABSTRAK Pentingnya model pembelajaran dalam proses pembelajaran sangat berdampak pada pemahaman dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini mengidentifikasi, merekonstruksi dan menerapkan model pembelajaran Mufrodat sesuai dengan Multiple Intelligence. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Dari data yang diperoleh, disimpulkan dengan menggunakan trianggulasi. Hasil penelitian ini, munculnya kecerdasan verbal-linguistik, visual spasial, jasmani-kinestetik, dan logis-matematis direkonstruksi menjadi model pembelajaran mufrodat berbasis teori Multiple Intelligence tujuannya adalah untuk mempermudah peserta didik dalam menerima dan memahami materi sehingg pembelajaran dapat berjalan efektif dan maksimal.

Abstract

English is a part of the curriculum in Indonesian schools and universities, even English is used as the extra lessons and programs developed in inclusive schools or local content specifically provided as the student’s knowledge of the language. The objective of the research is to designing M – RIES (Mental Retardation English Vocabularies) as learning media for mild mental retardation students. The researcher used Research and Development (R&D) methods. In this research procedure adapts ADDIE model that consist of five stages. Those are: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The researcher used observation and questionnaire to collect the data. This media has been validated by 4 experts before being implemented to the students. The result of the material experts validator obtained 82,5% and 90% in the “Strongly Agree” category. In addition, the result of media experts validator obtained 89,4% and 96,4% that was also include in “Strongly Agree” category. The researcher conducted trials on 4 mild mental retardation students at SMALB Tunas Harapan 1 Tembelang. The result of implementation obtained 95% were in “Very Good” category. By having those results, this M – RIES media is feasible to be used as learning media for mild mental retardation students. Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system on the quality of teaching staff at SMK PGRI 1 Jombang. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis techniques. The research results show that the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system has contributed positively to improving the quality of teaching staff at SMK PGRI 1 Jombang. Factors that support this implementation include the commitment of school leaders, the active participation of teaching staff, and the existence of a continuous monitoring and evaluation process. In conclusion, the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system can be a strong foundation for improving the quality of teaching staff at SMK PGRI 1 Jombang. The recommendation from this research is the need for regular coaching and training for teaching staff to strengthen understanding and application of ISO 9001:2015 principles.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Abstract: This STEM approach is an approach that refers to the four components of science, namely knowledge, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This STEM later in research will be reviewed and modified into biology subjects. The purpose of this research is to analyze the application of the STEM approach to biology learning. This research uses the study literature method which has a concept with data collection and data sources used are secondary data, which come from journals and scientific papers totaling at least 20 sources (journals/articles). The results that the researchers found were that the STEM approach to biology learning could be integrated with various learning models and appropriate materials and could improve student learning outcomes, students' critical thinking skills, students' scientific literacy, students' creativity, students' ability to think scientifically. ABSTRAK Abstrak: Pendekatan STEM ini adalah pendekatan yang merujuk kepada empat komponen ilmu pengetahuan, yaitu pengetahuan, teknologi, teknik, dan matematika. STEM ini nantinya pada penelitan yan akan di kaji dimodifikasikan ke dalam mata pelajaran biologi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis penerapan pendekatan STEM pada pembelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode study literature yang mempunyai konsep dengan pengumpulan data dan sumber-sumber data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder, yang berasal dari jurnal dan karya tulis ilmiah yang berjumlah minimal 20 sumber (jurnal/artikel). Adapun hasil yang peneliti temukan adalah pendekatan STEM pada pembelajaran biologi dapat diintegrasikan dengan berbagai model pembelajaran dan materi yang sesuai serta dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa, literasi sains siswa, kreativitas siswa, kemampuan berpikir ilmiah. Abstract

ABSTRACT The Discovery Learning model is a model that guides students to identify what they want to know by searching for information themselves, then finding concepts from what is known and understood. The scientific approach is a learning process that is equated with a scientific process because it includes stages, especially in the core activities, namely observing, asking questions, gathering information or experimenting, associating or processing information, and communicating. Learning Outcomes are the numbers obtained by students who have succeeded in completing subject concepts according to the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) set, namely 75 according to the applicable curriculum. The purpose of this study was to describe student learning outcomes by applying the discovery learning model with a scientific approach. Keywords: Discovery Learning, Scientific Approach, Learning Outcomes ABSTRAK Model Discovery Learning adalah model yang menuntun siswa untuk mengidentifikasi apa yang ingin diketahui dengan mencari informasi sendiri, kemudian menemukan konsep dari apa yang diketahui dan dipahami. Pendekatan Scientific adalah proses pembelajaran yang disamakan dengan suatu proses ilmiah karena didalamnya terdapat tahapan-tahapan terutama dalam kegiatan inti yaitu Mengamati, Menanya, Mengumpulkan Informasi atau Eksperimen, Mengasosiasikan atau Mengolah Informasi, dan Mengkomunikasikan. Hasil Belajar adalah angka yang diperoleh siswa yang telah berhasil menuntaskan konsep-konsep mata pelajaran sesuai dengan kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) yang ditetapkan yaitu 75 sesuai dengan kurikulum yang berlaku. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan scientific approach.
