Abstract

This study aims to identify the level of self-regulated learning, the level of academic anxiety, and to analyze the relationship between self-regulated learning and academic anxiety in class X students at vocational high school. This study uses a correlational quantitative approach. The subjects of this study amounted to 44 students. Data collection techniques used self-regulated learning scale instruments and academic anxiety scales. This study used descriptive statistical analysis and parametric inferential statistics with the support of the IBM SPSS version 25 Pearson Product Moment formula. The results of the descriptive analysis of this study show that the level of self-regulated learning and the level of academic anxiety are in the medium category. Meanwhile, the Pearson Product Moment analysis results obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, then Ha is accepted which means there is a correlation between variable (X) and variable (Y) and the correlation coefficient value between self-regulated learning variables and academic anxiety is -0.742 which shows a negative relationship, meaning that the higher the self-regulated learning, the lower the academic anxiety of students, and vice versa, the lower the self-regulated learning, the higher the academic anxiety of students.

This research aims to determine the role of group guidance services using problem solving techniques on the understanding of mental health represented by students. The method used in this research is quantitative research with a true experimental type with a pretest posttest control group design model, using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The initial condition regarding understanding of students' mental health was found to be 10% in the very low category, 80% of students in the low category, and 20% in the high category for the experimental group. The control group received the low category with a presentation of 90% and the high category with a percentage of 10%. After being provided with group guidance services using problem solving techniques. Students' mental health understanding increased to 20% in the very high category and in the high category with a percentage of 80%. Meanwhile, the control class received the low category with a presentation of 90% and the high category with a percentage of 10%.  The research results show that group guidance services using problem solving techniques can influence and improve students' understanding of mental health. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the understanding of mental health of students before and after group guidance services using problem solving techniques.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between peer interaction and bullying behavior in adolescents, aiming to identify effective strategies to mitigate bullying. Using a quantitative approach, the study employs simple regression analysis to analyze data collected through a Likert scale. The sample comprised 232 adolescents selected through random sampling. Results indicate that peer interaction exerts a significant negative effect on bullying behavior, as evidenced by a regression coefficient of -0.412. This finding suggests that enhancing positive peer interactions may reduce bullying behavior by 0.412 units. The study recommends that schools implement intervention programs fostering cooperation and communication among students and reinforce guidance and counseling services to support adolescents' social and emotional development. In summary, promoting positive peer interactions appears to be an effective approach to reducing bullying behavior among adolescents.
