Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang difokuskan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk e-modul interaktif berbasis Canva yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) Validitas e-modul interaktif berbasis Canva pada materi sistem ekskresi, 2) Kepraktisan e-modul interaktif berbasis Canva pada materi sistem ekskresi, 3) Peningkatan minat baca peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 13 Makassar setelah menggunakan e-modul interaktif berbasis Canva pada materi sistem ekskresi, 4) Peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 13 Makassar setelah menggunakan e-modul interaktif berbasis Canva pada materi sistem ekskresi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model penelitian dan pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Uji coba produk ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 13 Makassar kelas VIII, dengan jumlah subjek 69 orang. Hasil analisis disimpulkan: 1) E-modul interaktif berbasis Canva yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid, 2) Berdasarkan respons pendidik dan peserta didik, e-modul interaktif berbasis Canva dikatakan praktis dan sangat praktis, 3) Peningkatan minat baca peserta didik dengan N-gain 0,39 pada kategori sedang, 4) ) Peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan N-gain 0,41 pada kategori sedang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tujuan untuk melihat peningkatan hasil belajar IPA di SMPN 1 Kesamben melalui pembelajaran problem-based learning (PBL) terintegrasi kearifan lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan subjek penelitian sebanyak 30 peserta didik. Dalam penelitian iini, peningkatan hasil belajar IPA menggunakan analisis data statistik deskriptif dengan indikator keberhasilan dengan hasil rata-rata dan persentase kelulusan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwai pada siklusi 1 hanya terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata kelas dari 59 menjadi 70 dan belum mencapai KKM sehingga belum dinyatakan berhasil. Perbaikan dilanjutkan pada siklus 2 dengan nilai rata-rata kelas menjadi 84 dan dinyatakan berhasil karena mencapai indikator keberhasilan. Persentase kelulusan kelas juga mengalami peningkatan yaitu sebesar 30% dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2. Dengan demikian implementasi model PBL terintegrasi kearifan lokal mampu meningkatan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas 7 di SMPN 1 Kesamben tahun ajaran 2022/2023.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menegetahui: 1) skor motivasi belajar IPA peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Makassar sebelum dan sesudah diajar dengan media Sparkol  Videoscribe pada materi “Usaha dan Pesawat Sederhana dalam Kehidupan Sehari-hari”, 2) kategori peningkatan motivasi belajar IPA yang diajar dengan media Sparkol  Videoscribe, 3) apakah penerapan media Sparkol Videoscribe dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPA, dan 4) ada tidaknya perbedaan yang signifikan antara peningkatan motivasi belajar IPA. Adapun jenis penelitian yang di gunakan yaitu “Pre-Experiment” dengan desain penelitian “One Group Pretest-Posttest Design”. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu keseluruhan peserta didik kelas VIII dengan menggunakan cara “purposive sampling” yaitu mengklasifikasikan 3 kelas berbeda: kelas VIII.1 19 orang; VIII.2 26 orang; dan VIII.7 16 orang. Instrumen penelitian ini mengunakan angket motivasi belajar. Dengan analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Kesimpulan hasil analisis: (1) skor motivasi belajar IPA saat motivasi awal adalah 90,41 sedangkan skor motivasi akhir adalah 103,11; (2) kategori peningkatan motivasi belajar IPA berada pada kategori sedang yaitu 0,42; (3) penerapan media Sparkol Videoscribe dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPA dengan nilai   motivasi 12,44; (4) tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara peningkatan motivasi belajar IPA setelah penerapan media Sparkol Videoscribe dengan nilai  motivasi 2,619.

Abstract

Google books merupakan platform atau aplikasi yang dapat digunakan untuk bahan bacaan berupa buku dan sejenisnya. Untuk menunjang dan mempermudah bahan bacaan mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan Dasar-Dasar Pendidikan MIPA di IAIN Palangka Raya maka dikembangkan bahan ajar berbasis Google books. Pengembangan bahan ajar yang dilakukan dengan 4D, yaitu Define, Design, Development serta Disseminate. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan berbentuk buku dan memberikan hasil bahan ajar yang menarik, mudah dibaca dan digunakan serta tidak memberikan beban tambahan pada gawai yang digunakan. Serta bahan ajar yang digunakan mampu digunakan dengan berbagai platform sistem informasi, mulai dari Android, iOS, Windows, MacOS hingga linux. Mahasiswa menjadi terbantu dan mudah dalam proses perkuliahan Dasar-Dasar Pendidikan MIPA dengan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan Sangat baik dan Layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the high level of numerical literacy skills of grade VIII students in accredited public and private junior high schools in Rappocini District. This research is a quantitative descriptive survey with a population of 1080 students and a sample of 292 students selected randomly. The research instrument was a 10 question multiple choice test. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results showed: (1) the numerical literacy ability of public junior high school students is in the medium category (53.48%), (2) the ability of private junior high school students is in the high category (69.03%), (3) indicators of knowing, applying, and reasoning in public junior high schools are in the medium category (54.67%, 49.13%, and 56.62%), (4) indicators in private junior high schools are in the high category (69.35%, 72.04%, and 65.59%), (5) the average numerical literacy skills of public junior high school students are 5-6 (medium category) and private junior high school students are 6-7 (high category), (6) there is a significant difference between the numerical literacy skills of public and private junior high school students.

Abstract

The Kaur Regency Lagoon Beach is home to a diverse range of macroalgae, presenting an opportunity for various applications. Among these, the development of educational materials, such as booklets for macroalgae identification, stands out. This research aims to catalog the types of macroalgae at Laguna Beach, Kaur Regency, evaluate the suitability of a macroalgae identification-based booklet as educational material for tenth-grade Protista content, and assess the booklet's readability among students. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) approach, macroalgae samples were collected using the cruising method along the shoreline of Laguna Beach. The booklet's effectiveness was validated by media and material experts, as well as two practitioner experts, while its readability was tested with 20 tenth-grade students from SMAN 5 Kaur. The study identified 16 macroalgae species at Laguna Beach, classified into 3 divisions, 9 orders, and 11 families. Specifically, it found 9 Chlorophyta division species (green algae), 2 Rhodophyta division species (red algae), and 5 Phaeophyta division species (brown algae). The booklet validation yielded an average approval rating of 96.34%, categorizing it as 'very good.' The student readability assessment also rated the booklet highly, with a 93.1% approval rate, further supporting its 'very good' classification.

Abstract

Understanding a concept is very important for students to understand, but in the process misconceptions often occur. To minimize misconceptions, an instrument is needed that can diagnose student misconceptions through diagnostic test assessments. The purpose of this study is to assess the level of validity and ensure the use of a Google form-based three-tier diagnostic test. This instrument can identify the misconceptions of seventh grade junior high school students on the theme of heat around us. This development research refers to the three steps of the Thiagarajan model: defining, designing, and developing. Expert validators and samples, namely 2 lecturers as assessment experts participated in this study, 1 lecturer as a media expert, and 3 practitioners, as well as 30 seventh grade junior high school students. Interview sheets, validation, limited trials and teacher response questionnaires were used in data collection. The percentage calculation results obtained a score of 89.9% with a very valid category. The results of the limited trial showed that 83.4% of students had misconceptions, 12.3% knew the concept, and 4.3% did not know the concept. While the results of the teacher response questionnaire showed that 84.6% of the test were in the very high category.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis sikap ilmiah, aktivitas, dan respon terhadap   menerapkan pembelajaran projek. Jumlah sampel penelitian 98 calon guru  tahun ajaran 2022/2023  di Program Studi Pendidikan IPA di FMIPA Universitas Negeri Makassar.  Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah metode pra eksperimen semu, Instrumen penelitian: 1) angket sikap ilmiah dengan skala liker dan 2) lembar observasi keterlaksaaan pembelajaran projek.  Hasil analisis statistis deskriptif ditemukan bahwa: 1) 100 persen calon guru IPA  aktif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran projek pada masa pandemic covid-19; 2) tanggapan calon guru IPA terhadap pelaksanaaan pembelajaran projek berbasis sangat positif; 3) skor rata-rata sikap ilmiah 49,49 termasuk kategori tinggi. Kesimpulan pembelajaran projek dapat 1) mengaktifkan calon guru belajar, 2) tanggapan calon guru terhadap pelaksanaaan pembelajaran projek berbasis sangat positif, 3)  menunmbuhkembangkan sikap ilmiah.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Snowball Throwing method in the Discovery Learning Model on the learning outcomes. This quasi-experimental research with a posttest-only control group design was carried out in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research sample was determined at simple random from 6 classes of XI MIPA SMAN 22 Makassar as the research population. The research sample was class XI MIPA 3 as the experimental group and class XI MIPA 4 as the control group. Data collection was carried out by giving a multiple choices test at the end of the meeting. Based on results of data analysis using descriptive statistics, the average value for the experimental group was 80.16 and the control group was 68.66. Hypothesis testing with inferential statistical analysis using the Mann Whitney non-parametric test shows that the Zcount = 7.57 is greater than the Ztable = 1.64 at a significance level of 0.05. This shows that there is an influence of the Snowball Throwing method in the Discovery Learning Model on the learning outcomes of class XI MIPA students at SMAN 22 Makassar Basic Study of Buffer Solutions

Abstract

The research aims to determine: 1) students’ science literacy skills before and after implementation Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by electronic modules on biotechnology material. 2) The improvement science literacy skills after implementation PjBL model assisted by electronic modules. 3) Significant improvement in science literacy skills after implementation PjBL model assisted by electronic modules. This research is a pre-experimental with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population was class IX SMPN 27 Makassar, the sample was selected using Purposive Sampling technique and selected class IX.2 totaling 32 samples. The instrument of multiple choice totaling 25 items. Data analysis using descriptive and inferential analysis, as for the results obtained: 1) the science literacy skills of students before the implementation of the PjBL model assisted by electronic modules had a score of 6.16 in the low category and after of a score of 12.00 in the medium category, 2) the science literacy skills of students after the implementation of the PjBL model increased with an N-Gain score of 0.39 in the medium category. 3) there is a significant increase. So it is concluded that the PjBL model assisted by electronic modules can improve students' science literacy skills.
