Abstract

Indonesia is the largest archipelagic country which makes it the world's maritime axis. Indonesia is a country that has the largest archipelago in the world and a wide and strategic coastline. Paciran District, Lamongan is one of the areas that has a long beach. Village tourism is the utilization of existing resources in the village as tourism that provides benefits to the surrounding community. This study used a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. This study used primary data and secondary data. The primary data was obtained from observations and interviews with several residents of the Kec. Paciran, Lamongan, while secondary data was obtained from reading some information through several reading sources such as journals, books, etc. This study aims to analyze the empowerment of village resources as a tourism village in Paciran sub-district, Lamongan. The results of this study indicate that Paciran District, Lamongan has many tours that can be visited by tourists ranging from Lamongan marine tourism, Maharani Zoo Lamongan, Wali's graves, to the beach.

Abstract

The pandemic problem seems to have forced all economic sectors to recover, including market traders, community groups who are under pressure because of this phenomenon. The omzet that has been obtained so far is difficult to return to before the pandemic due to changes towards new normal. This research is based on the Community Based Research method on groups of people's market traders in Bantul Regency. The study found that traders experienced difficulties in adjusting to themselves due to a lack of information technology proficiency. The solution to the problem starts with optimizing the most familiar social media to merchants, namely Whatsapp. The use of WhatsApp Business is used to promote the products. Optimizing Whatsapp business provides a new strategy for conducting marketing promotions. The optimization through exploring product photos technique and persuasive message through captions. In the end, the market traders start getting new customers by uploading stories and uploading products.

Abstract

Candisari village is one of the villages in Windusari District, Magelang which has a problem of high stunting children. Stunting is a major threat to the quality of Indonesian society. This activity aims to assist the government in overcoming stunting through integrated native chicken cultivation. The methods used are raising awareness in the community, training and making demonstration plots. The target group is mothers who have children under five years old (toddlers) who are indicated to be stunted. The training carried out was how to raise native chickens integrated with vegetable crops, making supplementary food formulas for toddlers, demonstration plots of raising chickens integrated with vegetable plants. Chicken rearing activities are carried out by providing stimulus to 30 hens and 3 roosters. The results of the assistance reduced the stunting rate from 79 toddlers at the beginning of the activity to 46 toddlers at the end of the activity. Based on observations, all native chickens (100%) have laid eggs, with 100% hatchability and an average number of chicks of 10. In the cultivation of vegetable plants in the yard, it has succeeded 90% and has started to harvest the mustard, tomato and chili plants. The conclusion from this activity is that integrated chicken farming has a positive impact on reducing stunting rates.

Abstract

Agriculture is a great potential in Resapombo Village. However, over time the community has not been able to use the land properly so that the land becomes less productive. The land experiences landslides, especially when rain occurs due to the absence of standing plants or trees that become water catchment. There is a need for forest rehabilitation by utilizing geospatial technology. Forest rehabilitation aims to restore forest functions. The methods used in this community service activity are coordination and socialization to the community, plant breeding, planting seedlings, aerial photography, and aerial photo processing, as well as making maps. The result of this community service activity is the Map of the Forest Rehabilitation Planting Area of Resapombo Village-Blitar Regency. The map made can be utilized in effective and efficient forest management and plant monitoring to be optimal. People with high enthusiasm and awareness and concern for the surrounding environment, especially forests, are provisions for the success of forest rehabilitation carried out. The community is expected to be more protective and understand the importance of forests for their survival, especially for the next generation.

Abstract

Fig cultivation is a hobby-based economic activity that can help families in Cimanggis District, Depok City, West Java, meet their income needs. The overall goal of this activity is to teach retirees how to do it. Figs (Tin) were chosen because of their high social and economic value as well as their simplicity and low seed costs. To produce tangible benefits, such as economic benefits and standardized and high-value products, this activity is carried out through a plant cultivation training process guided by competent resource persons. This activity specifically aims to equip retirees with the necessary knowledge and skills to grow fig plants and produce figs. In addition, when this activity is practiced, the target output will be met. Among them are activity posters, activity videos posted on social media sites such as YouTube, YARSI TV, and Facebook, online articles in print media such as newspapers and magazines, as well as articles in online community service journals with an ISSN. Based on the findings of field research, the majority of the population aged over 55 years still shows high enthusiasm and activity productivity. The average value of the questionnaire before this activity was 33% and after this activity was carried out, the average value of the questionnaire results was 76%.

Abstract

The PKM activity partner is Ima Food, which is located in Purwomartani Village, Kalasan, Sleman, D.I. Yogyakarta. The primary issue that partners deal with is that they continue to mix up personal and business finances. This is motivated by a lack of skills and the media used to record business financial reports. Do not have Financial Reports because financial records are not optimal. To overcome partner problems, the PKM team offers the following solutions: (1) Financial literacy education related to MSME Financial Management; (2) Assistance using the android application “Akuntansi UKM” to facilitate recording and preparing financial reports. This PKM implementation method uses Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) theory. Some of the steps taken are planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. The result of this activity is that Ima Food has financial reports that comply with established standards. Through financial reporting using the Aplikasi UKM, partners can calculate the cost of goods sold based on their expenses, not based on the market selling price. This will certainly provide added value to business activities, increase business enthusiasm and expand business capital.

Abstract

Fever virus that can affect wild and farmed pigs. This virus can sicken or kill 100% of the population if attacked. This ASF virus is not dangerous or contagious to humans, and in an in vitro environment, the resistance of ASF viruses to exotic diseases is very high. Irresponsible development of the problem can be a serious problem in the East Bokasape Village epidemic ASF control program. The population's ignorance and lack of correct information about the ASF virus epidemic has a significant social impact. Prevention can be done by implementing various activities, one of which is counseling/education and leadership activities, assuming that it can provide information and scientific knowledge about ASF outbreaks to all levels of society. The method used is to provide public education and advocacy. Duties and responsibilities of the Community Service Team include supervision/training of pigs and preventive supervision and direct monitoring according to PRISMA recommendations for husbandry, measures to strengthen biosecurity and continuous surveillance.

Abstract

The elderly experience various aging processes which result in functional decline including cognitive decline. Mild decline in cognitive function is characterized by the occurrence of forgetfulness and if it is severe it will cause senility to the occurrence of Alzheimer's disease, a progressive disease that destroys memory and other important mental functions. Decreased cognitive function can also be caused by a lack of activity in the elderly that involves the brain. So far, processing of plastic waste has been carried out but it is still limited to collecting and reselling it, there has been no attempt to use plastic waste into toys that are beneficial to health and cognitive function. The domino game using plastic bottle caps was created by the team as an activity to support cognitive and social functions for the elderly. Game activities were carried out 12 times for 15 elderly people who were in RT 06 RW 01 Tanjungrejo Village, Sukun District, Malang City. Elderly cognitive function was measured at the beginning and at the end of the activity using the MMSE. The results found are known that although some elderly people experience problems in completing game targets, elderly people who complete game cycles have improved cognitive function. The development and improvement of the appearance of the game set becomes a recommendation for further activities.

Abstract

The problem faced by partners, namely the 'Bunda Sekarningsih' banana chip business, is the lack of production equipment and traditional production methods so that they have not implemented the principles of sanitation and hygienic food processing, as well as poor financial and administrative governance. The aim of implementing the program was to increase the production and income of IRT (Household Industry) partners in banana chips, as well as the knowledge and skills of producers in food processing and financial management. The method of implementing this program was counseling, training and assistance to the owner and employees of IRT banana chips 'Bunda Sekarningsih'. The results of the service program that has been carried out include: the availability of banana cutting tools that are designed and made by applying Higher Education Science and Technology so as to increase the quantity and quality of production; Increased knowledge and understanding of partners to apply sanitation principles and produce hygienic food; Increased knowledge and skills of partners to manage financial and managerial business with the POAC (Planning Organizing Actuating Controlling) concept.

Abstract

Increased public awareness of the importance of health is a challenge for health workers, especially in the field of pharmacy, to show their existence in realizing the quality of public health by orienting services to improve the quality of life. The lack of teaching staff in pharmacy results in not optimal pharmaceutical competency training which has an impact of the lack of cincern on students' awareness of the pharmaceutical world so that students know the use and selection of rational drugs. The pesantren environment makes students pay less attention to their own health and the surrounding environment so that students are easily exposed to disease. The purpose of this service is to increase students' awareness of the pharmaceutical world so that they know how to use and select drugs rationally and increase the importance of their own health and the surrounding environment. The stages carried out are pretest, socialization of the importance of knowing the world of pharmacy, practice making preparations, games, evaluation, and quizzes. The results of this socialization provide results that al-mizan Muhammadiyah lamongan students have increased their understanding of the world of pharmacy, and know how to use drugs rationally.
