Abstract

The database is the most important part of the development of a software. Management of data storage in the database is very important because the amount of data stored is increasing and varied. Thus requiring increased storage capacity and increased processing time. One form of database used in software is a relational database. Relational database modeling to reduce storage capacity can be circumvented by normalizing the database. From the experimental results, database normalization has an effect on the number of entities. So that the storage capacity and processing time in data processing are also affected by the normalization of the database. The more the number of entities will cause the more time needed in data processing.

Abstract

The frame is a main component for electric scooter construction which must have high distortion resistance to minimize the failure risk. This study aims to design a frame for electric scooter with broadtrack model and 1200 W of wheel drive motor power. The simulation was conducted by Finite Element Method (FEM) using Aluminum 6061 and Steel AISI 1020 as the material frame. The down tube used rectangular profile pipe and others used cylindric profile. The frame was generated in 3D model and been analysed using static structural. The results showed the biggest maximum stresses and also the smallest deformation given by steel AISI 1020 are 84,852 Mpa and 0.1082 mm, respectively. The minimum safety value for AISI 1020 steel material is 2.3813 and 6061 aluminum alloy is 1.5518. These show that the effect of mechanical properties on steel AISI 1020 is better than aluminum 6061. Overall, the Electric scooter frame should be recommended using steel AISI 1020.

Abstract

The need for household-scale electricity consumption is very closely dependent on household appliances that use electrical energy. The demand for household electricity has increased along with the Work From Home (WFH). If this is not managed optimally based on the aspect of its use, it will unconsciously have an impact on economic spending. The purpose of this study focuses on a prototype monitoring system for electrical quantities in the form of voltage, current strength and electric power in real time via the Android platform. The prototype that was created was able to collect realtime data every 1 minute and 5 minutes, respectively, resulting in a measurement accuracy of 92.99% and 81.85%. As well as reading accuracy of (36.60 + 2.42) Watt and (27 + 4.96) Watt. Based on the error results and the results of the reading accuracy of the prototype, a comparison was made between the delay of data retrieval per 1 minute and 5 minutes, it can be concluded that it has a higher reading accuracy per 1 minute. So that the suggestions and recommendations from further researchers regarding the design of electrical energy monitoring management use a delay time of more than one minute so as not to lose a lot of data information from the measurement results.
