Abstract

Peanuts are one type of agricultural crop from commodity crops that can provide additional income opportunities for farmers in Indonesia. In addition, the benefits of peanuts are as a source of protein and vegetable fat for human body, so they are also much needed by the food industry. However, in increasing soil productivity there is a decrease in quality and quantity caused by one of the factors, namely plant diseases. Efforts that can be made in maintaining peanut productivity are to prevent early by applying early detection technology. This study presents the application of digital image processing application-based technology using the Multiclass SVM One-Against-One (OAO) strategy to classify the types of leaf disease of peanut plants based on texture feature extraction on the diseased parts of peanut leaves using the Gray Level Co-Occurrence Matrix (GLCM) method. In the classification process using the M-SVM method the OAO strategy will use three kernels, namely polynomial kernel, linear kernel and RBF kernels. Based on the experimental results, the best accuracy is obtained, namely by using GLCM texture feature extraction with a distance of d = 1 and angle 90 degree of and classified using the M-SVM method, the OAO strategy with polynomial kernels provides the highest accuracy results, namely 96.39% for leaf spot class, 92.79% for leaf rust class, 96.39% for eye spot class and 100% for normal class

Abstract

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) have attracted the attention of researchers in recent years. WSN , is increasingly using it in various fields. Even though the use of WSNs is becoming more widespread, they are often vulnerable to security attacks. Therefore, it is important to have a strong security system that can provide users with a sense of security and comfort in sending data via WSN. Sending data via WSN also carries significant security risks, especially when the data sent is related to the sender's location. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the scalability of the security system in sending data via WSN using the LSP routing technique. The main focus of this research is protecting data source location information in the context of WSN using LSP Routing techniques. In the tests carried out in this research, a sinkhole attack was used which aims to detect nodes. The research results show that the data transmission rate from the node to the CH increases by 50%, 75%, and 90% in each cycle when the security system is implemented. However, only around 25% and 50% of node attacks in the data transmission process are successfully detected by the sinkhole. The impact of such attacks is felt on the nodes operating in the network, with approximately 95% of nodes eventually going down at the end of the cycle when no security systems are in place. However, when a security system is implemented, only about 60% of nodes fail to send data to their destination.

Abstract

In determining exemplary administrators, there are several assessment criteria that have been designed by looking at all the tasks and programs carried out. This is done to encourage administrators to be more enthusiastic in their service at Islamic boarding schools. Apart from that, this program is also an evaluation for management who need to follow up on their negligence in all duties and responsibilities. From the research carried out, there is a problem, namely in determining exemplary administrators, currently at the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School it is only based on observations of regional heads and regional heads, and does not pay attention to assessment criteria and indicators in the form of professionalism, personality and social issues. Therefore, a decision support system implemented in web form is very necessary to solve the problems that occur. The programming language used is PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) using the CodeIgniter framework. The hope is that the resulting website can help regional and regional heads make the right decisions for exemplary organizers. K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) is the method used for classification in this research. The KNN algorithm uses the k value to determine the number of nearest neighbors whose status will be calculated. The data used is 348 lines of management assessment data for 2021-2023. Optimizing the k value using k-fold cross validation produces the highest level of accuracy, namely 97.70% with a value of k = 4 and training data of 75% of the total previous assessment data.

Abstract

Gold, a precious metal, is highly favored for its ease of maintenance and low risk of loss, making it a popular investment choice. However, gold prices are subject to fluctuations influenced by factors such as the dollar exchange rate, market demand and supply, and monetary crises. Understanding these fluctuations is crucial for investors to minimize losses and maximize profits. The dataset, sourced from Investing.Com, spans from January 2019 to December 2024 and includes 1548 records with five attributes. The error rate was evaluated using Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). This study aims to forecast gold prices using the Multiple Linear Regression algorithm, with the K-Fold Cross Validation method applied to enhance model accuracy. The results show RMSE and MAPE values of 695.7909 and 0.27%, respectively, indicating that the Multiple Linear Regression algorithm is effective in predicting gold prices.

Abstract

The Wani 2 Port Pier, located in Tanantovea District, Donggala Regency, is a vital infrastructure equipped with a Gantry Crane that requires optimal street lighting to support loading and unloading activities as well as maritime and land transportation. This study aims to analyze the lighting intensity and its compliance with the standards set by SNI 7391:2008, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, the Ministry of Maritime Transportation, and the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 70 of 2016, which recommends a minimum illumination level of 20 lux. An evaluation of the existing street lighting system indicates that the average lighting intensity remains below the established standard, ranging from 8 to 16 lux. This discrepancy is attributed to the varying distances between light poles, which range from 15–20.5 meters and the use of 100-watt LED lamps with an output of 12,500 lumens and a color temperature of 4000 Kelvin, which are not optimal. To address this issue, this study optimizes the street lighting system through simulations conducted using DIALux Evo software. The proposed improvements include modifying the lamp specifications and increasing the number of lamps. This upgrade results in a total luminous output of 30,000 lumens. Additionally, adding one streetlight with a 14-meters spacing between poles enhances overall illumination. The simulation results indicate that modifying the lamp specifications and adding streetlight points significantly improve light distribution. The achieved illumination levels comply with SNI 7391:2008 and the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 70 of 2016.
