Abstract

This research has a background of low student learning outcomes in grade 5 theme 6 at SDN I Barusuda, sub-district, Garut City. It is known that students have daily test scores that do not reach the specified KKM score.The purpose of this study was to increase the activity and learning outcomes of students by using interactive media PowerPoint for students of Class V Theme 6 at SDN I Barusuda, Cigedug District, Garut Regency. The research method using Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of 3 cycles with 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study is students of class V with a total of 30 people. Data collection techniques useing observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. While the data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the average percentage of student activity classically has increased. In the pre-cycle before treatment, it was 65%, in the first cycle it was 69%, in the second cycle, it was 74% while in the third cycle it was 87%. While the percentage of mastery learning outcomes in the pre-cycle is 33%, in the first cycle it is 33%, in the second cycle, it is 73%, while in the third cycle it is 90%. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that learning in Theme 6 using interactive PowerPoint media can increase students' activities and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT) can make it easier for everyone to access various types of information through the internet and social media; this can result in a decline in national identity in society. Meanwhile, technological developments can also be used as a medium to educate the general public. Therefore, this study aims to obtain information on how to use YouTube social media to increase historical awareness. The research method uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach, while the data collection procedures include observations, interviews, and documentation. Informants in this study consisted of founders of historical creators on Youtube and several general audiences. The results of this study suggest that the use of social media in increasing historical awareness on the Inspect History Youtube account by utilizing animated videos is one of the efforts that can be made to provide historical knowledge and its relation to increasing historical awareness in the current digital era.

Abstract

Blind individuals take longer to learn a concept compared to seeing individuals. Early assistance provided by the family will undoubtedly help blind children develop their cognitive abilities in mapping various existing concepts. Many families still have minimal understanding of assisting blind children, causing delays in the development of concepts that impact their independence. This family involvement allows blind children to reach the appropriate age/behavior stage in their independence. The research aimed to formulate and acquire a family-based CSOM basic skill program to increase the independence of the blind. The research was carried out using a qualitative approach with a case study type consisting of three stages, analyzing and determining needs, compiling program designs, and conducting FGDs. The results of research on the objective conditions of the basic CSOM skills in the family environment of blind children show a lack of understanding and proper assistance so that the ability of the blind children's CSOM is hampered, especially in social activities. The structured program is designed to illustrate to parents how to accompany blind children according to the principles of learning while in the family environment. The results after the workshop activities showed an increase in awareness and assistance efforts made by parents for blind children through the habituation of daily activities.

Abstract

AbstrakBesarnya dampak wabah Covid-19 pada lingkup pendidikan mendorong dilakukannya perubahan dalam proses pembelajaran untuk dapat memutus rantai penyebaran Covid-19 dengan menerapkan kegiatan pembelajaran secara online untuk seluruh jenjang pendidikan. Sangat mungkin bagi siswa menemukan kesulitan-kesulitan selama pembelajaran daring dan membuat motivasi belajar siswa menurun. Maka untuk menghadapi kesulitan tersebut diperlukan kecerdasan yang mampu membantu siswa tetap bertahan atau disebut dengan Adversity Quotient (AQ) yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis Adversity Quotient dan mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap motivasi belajar. Pendekatan penelitian ini dilakukan dengan penelitian kuantitatif, ada 108 responden penelitian berdasarkan teknik cluster random sampling. Adapun pengambilan data penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner skala likert 5 point, lalu dianalisis dengan teknik analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa Adversity Quotient ditinjau dari aspek control, origin and ownership, reach, dan endurance berada di kategori cukup baik. Terdapat pengaruh Adversity Quotient dan motivasi belajar siswa secara positif dan signifikan dengan kontribusi pengaruh berada pada kategori tinggi.AbstractThe magnitude of the Covid-19 impacts outbreak on the scope of education encourages changes in the learning process to be able to break the chain of spread of Covid-19 by applying online learning activities for all levels of education. It is quite possible for students to find difficulties during online learning and make students' learning motivation decrease. So, to deal with these difficulties, intelligence is needed that can help students stay afloat or called Adversity Quotient (AQ) which can ultimately increase students' learning motivation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Adversity Quotient and find out its effect on learning motivation. This research approach was carried out with quantitative research, there were 108 respondents based on cluster random sampling techniques. As for the data collection of this study using a 5-point likert scale questionnaire, it is then analyzed with a simple linear regression analysis technique. The results of this study that Adversity Quotient reviewed from the aspects of control, origin and ownership, reach, and endurance are in the category quite well. There is the influence of Adversity Quotient and student learning motivation positively and significantly with the contribution of influence to be in the high category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parents’ religious coping and perceived competencies in handling their children with special needs and their parental stress level. The subject of the study is 122 parents of children with an array of special needs, selected using an accidental sampling technique. Data for the study were obtained through the Indonesian version of Amer et al.’s BARCS questionnaires (2018), with some adaptations applied. Parents’ perception of their competence in handling their children with special needs was measured using the SEDKO-ABK questionnaire arranged by the researchers. At the same time, Berry Jones’s Parenting Stress Scale (1995) was adapted into the context of the parenting of children with special needs to measure parents’ stress levels. The data were processed using multiple regression statistical techniques on the significance level of α=0.05. Based on the result, it is discovered that 1) parents’ perception of their competence in handling their children with special needs affects their parental stress level, 2) the use of religious coping has an impact on parental stress level, and 3) self-perception on self-competence and the use of religious coping in handling children with special needs simultaneously give an impact on parental stress level.

Abstract

Decreased learning motivation and enthusiasm of students of class XI APHP at SMKN 2 Cilaku Cianjur in the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic, causing a decrease in value in the cognitive aspect. In addition, the limited materials and learning media used by teachers contain students difficulty in understanding the material taught. Efforts made by researchers to overcome these problems are to develop website-based e-modules that can be accessed online to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this research includes (1) Knowing the feasibility of website-based e-modules used in the distance learning on fish production materials, (2) Knowing the learning outcomes of practical classes students using website-based e-modules and control classes that use power point after the implementation of distance learning activities on fish production materials reviewed from the cognitive aspect, and (3) Knowing the difference in the learning outcomes of practical classes students whose website based e-modules and control classes that use power points after the implementation of distance learning activities on fish production materials reviewed from the cognitive aspect. The development of this website-based e-modules uses an ADDIE model research design with several stages, including Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Website-based e-modules developed are then implemented with distance learning to determine students’ learning outcomes via Whatsapp video call connected to the Facebook application using quasi-experiment research – nonequivalent control group design. The result showed that the website-based e-modules were declared “Viable” by a media expert, declared “Very Viable” by a material expert and linguist expert, and the results of product trials were declared “Very Viable” by students.

Abstract

Students of the Agroindustrial Technology Education Study Program who take part in the Kampus Mengajar program are feared to have lower pedagogic competence than students who take the Education Unit Field Introduction Program (PPLSP). This study aimed to determine the level of pedagogic competence of students of the Agroindustrial Technology Education Study Program who took part in the 2021 PPLSP and the Kampus Mengajar Program Batch 2 and the differences in pedagogic competence in the two groups of students. Pedagogic competence is measured based on students' perceptions by filling out a closed questionnaire. There are 10 pedagogic competence indicators described in 30 statements in the questionnaire. The questionnaire was filled out by 40 students who took part in the 2021 PPLSP and 17 students who took part in the Kampus Mengajar  Program 2. Structured interviews to obtain additional data were then conducted with 28 people who were randomly selected from the group of students who took part in the PPLSP and the Teaching Campus. The results showed that the pedagogic competence of students who took part in the 2021 PPLSP and the Kampus Mengajar Batch 2 were in the high category. However, three statements of pedagogical competence are considered to be in the medium category for PPLSP 2021 students but high for Class 2 Kampus Mengajar students on Kampus Mengajar students Batch 2.

Abstract

Parents become one of the important roles in the family environment in the strengthening of character. The thing that needs to be given special attention in strengthening this character is parental guidance in order to facilitate the potential of the child. Parents must work together to have knowledge and experience about instilling good values in children such as independence. This research was conducted using quantitative methods. Group B parents were the population and samples in this study. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire with a data analysis technique using percentage calculations. The results of the study provide a positive understanding of children categorized as very good, educate children accustomed to be neatly categorized as good, provide games that can form children's independence categorized as very good, get children used to behaving in accordance with good manners and motivate children not to be lazy to be categorized as good. These five aspects of the study greatly affect the independence of children at home.

Abstract

With the Covid-19 Pandemic, the teacher's role is not only as a teacher in a formal school. This research generally aims to develop teaching materials in Hybrid learning by using video recording and streaming with the Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) application. This research uses research and development procedures or research and development. The research model used in this study is the ADDIE development model. This model has five research stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results showed that the teaching materials developed in the Hybrid Learning method through Video Recording and streaming assisted by the Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) application were quite good. The results of expert judgments carried out by material experts, media experts, and linguists showed that the average score for the material aspect was 3.9; the media validation score was 3.9, and the language aspect validation score was 3.45. The results of this study indicate that the teaching materials developed in the Hybrid Learning method through Video Recording and streaming assisted by the Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) application are suitable for learning.

Abstract

AbstractThis study was conducted to describe the types of bullying behavior and its causes at SDN Inpres Kala, and efforts to prevent and treat bullying behavior at SDN Inpres Kala. This study uses a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach to the theory of Edmund Husserl. The material object studied is the prevention and handling of bullying behavior in elementary schools, with the data sources studied are teachers, parents, and students. Based on the results of the study, bullying behavior at SDN Inpres Kala is a category of physical, verbal, and cyber bullying. Prevention efforts taken by teachers and parents to avoid bullying behavior in children/students is to provide education and socialization about what bullying behavior is and how it affects the perpetrators and the victims. If there are indications of bullying in children/students, immediately give warnings and warnings, as well as punishments. The efforts made by parents and teachers in dealing with bullying cases at SDN Inpres Kala are by approaching the perpetrators and victims, giving punishments and sanctions to students who do bullying.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis perilaku bullying dan penyebabnya di SDN Inpres Kala, dan upaya pencegahan dan penanganan perilaku bullying di SDN Inpres Kala. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi teori Edmund Husserl. Objek materil yang dikaji adalah upaya pencegahan dan penanganan perilaku bullying di SD, dengan sumber data yang diteliti adalah guru, orang tua, dan siswa.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan Perilaku bullying di SDN Inpres Kala merupakan kategori bullying fisik, verbal, dan cyber bullying.  Upaya pencegahan yang dilakukan guru dan orang tua untuk menghindari timbulnya perilaku bullying pada anak/siswa adalah dengan memberikan edukasi dan sosialisasi mengenai apa itu perilaku bullying dan bagaimana dampaknya bagi pelaku dan bagi korban. Apabila terlihat adanya indikasi bullying pada anak/siswa segera memberikan teguran dan peringatan, serta hukuman. Adapun upaya yang dilakukan orang tua dan guru dalam menangani kasus bullying di SDN Inpres Kala adalah dengan melakukan pendekatan terhadap pelaku dan korban, memberikan hukuman dan sanksi kepada siswa yang melakukan bullying.
