Abstract

Public Health Center is a first-level health facility that requires good management of medical records in order to achieve orderly administration. The purpose of this study is how the factors that cause the duplication of medical record numbers in Bromo Health Center Medan. This type of research is descriptive research. The population is the entire medical record of outpatients in Bromo Health Center as many as 4262 medical records. While the sample was 366 medical record files and the number of officers was 6 people. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling. Data collection was carried out using the observation method using an observation sheet and the interview method with a questionnaire. Data were analyzed descriptively to see the cause of the duplication of medical record document numbering based on patient factors, staff factors and medical record management system factors. The results showed that the number of duplicate medical record documents at the Bromo Health Center in Medan was 8.74%. Factors causing duplication are patients not carrying medical identity cards, medical records officer qualifications that are not appropriate, no tracers, expedition books and Standard Operating Procedures (SPO) in the storage section, numbering system and the use of non-standard family folders. It is expected that the Public Health Center will search and rearrange lost and scattered medical record documents, recruit medical record officers according to the competencies and qualifications of the formal medical record education, and provide medical record training as needed, create Standard Operating Procedures (SPO), change numbering and alignment of medical records, using tracers and expedition books and outreach to patients about the use of a Medical Identity Card .

Abstract

Fatigue has a significant impact on the economy of a region. This is because it leads to absenteeism, decreased productivity, health costs, and accidents. It is something complex primarily caused by 2 factors, including work and non-work fatigue. The purpose of this study therefore is to determine the factors associated with the fatigue level in copper and gold ore processing workers. It uses a cross-sectional design with the Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC) questionnaire to measure the fatigue level and The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) of 260 respondents working in the copper and gold ore processing firm. The results showed that 1 worker (0.4%) experienced severe fatigue, and 12 workers (4.6%) moderate, 243 (93.5%) mild fatigue, while only 4 (1.5%) were not affected. Additionally, there is a significant relationship between fatigue levels with sleep quality. In conclusion, poor sleep has the potential to increase fatigue. Companies therefore need to provide training related to the management of fatigue and sleep quality for workers.

Abstract

Background: Worm infections occurs in people who pay little attention to personal hygiene behavior, home sanitation and lack of knowledge about worms infection diseases. Objective: This study aims to determine the related factors associated with worms infections incidences in garbage collector of the Environtmental and Forestry Department, Kendari. Method: This research used analytic observational with cross sectional study design. Determination of the sample in this study used the total sampling approach. The sample in this study is 45 garbage collector. Data collection by used questionnaires and microscopic examinationt identifyti the presence of worm infections in garbage collectors. From the sample examination, we have known that 6 out of 45 respondent were infected by worms. The statistical test used was chi square at an alpha error level of 0.05. Results: The worms infected the respondent are the Ascaris lumbricoides and the Trichuris trichiura species from the STH group.The result shows that there is correlation between personal protective device usage with the occurrence of worms infection (ρ = 0,012), there is correlation between hand washing habit with the occurrence of worms infection (ρ = 0,023), there is correlation between the bowel habits with the occurrence of worms infection (ρ = 0,023). Conclussion: From this study, it can be concluded that there is a correlation between behavioral and home environment sanitation knowledge with the occurrence of worms infection incidences in garbage collectors of the Environmental and Forestry Department

Abstract

Non-communicable diseases have become the leading cause of death globally at this time. Posbindu PTM is a form of service that involves community participation through promotive-preventive efforts. This type of research is a mixed methods approach with the aim to find out the factors that influence the utilization of Posbindu PTM in the elderly in the Work Area of ​​Rantang Medan Puskesmas Medan Petisah District with a population of 653 elderly with a sample technique using accidental sampling as many as 87 elderly. The results showed that knowledge had a sig-p 0.011 <0.05, an attitude of sig-p 0.017> 0.05, a distance of sig-p 0.041 <0.05, support of health personnel sig-p 0.415> 0.05 and family support have a p-p 0.028 <0.05. The conclusion is the influence of knowledge, attitudes, distance and family support for the use of Posbindu PTM in the elderly, while the support of health workers does not have an influence on the use of Posbindu PTM in the elderly. This research is expected to be a useful input or information for Puskesmas, Health Services, and other agencies related to the use of Posbindu PTM. Abstract

Anemia is a medical condition in which the number of red blood cells or hemoglobin is less than normalis <12 gram/100ml. Province of Riau is a region wiyh high anemia rates in Indonesia with prevalence exceed the threshold (36%). Based on the results of a survey conducted at SMAN 1 of TelukBelengkong Indragiri Hilir Regency was obtained from 10 female students and 7 people who were anemia. The purpose of this research was the knowing relationship between menstruration, phyisical activity, consumption fe tablet, breakfast, vegetable consumption, tea consumptionwith anemia in female students in the SMAN 1 of Teluk Belengkong Indragiri Hilir Regency year 2019. This research is quantitative analytic with research design a cross sectional. The study population amounted to 90 people with a sample of 90 people. Sampling technique is total sampling with chi square test. The result 60 % have anemia,P value < 0,05 show have relationship between menstruration P value = 0,003 (POR = 4,2), phyisical activity P value = 0,001 (POR = 4,8), breakfast P value = 0,001 (POR = 6,8) and tea consumption P value = 0,014 (POR = 3,2)with anemia in female students in the Sunior High School 1 of Teluk Belengkong. No have relationship between consumption fe tablet P value = 0,355 (POR = 1,7) and vegetable consumption P value = 0,093 (OR = 0,4) with anemia in female students in the Sunior High School 1 of Teluk Belengkong. the conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between menstruation, physical activity, breakfast, and tea consumption among female students to the incidence of anemia at SMAN 1 Teluk Belengkong. It is recommended that the school collaborate with the puskesmas in periodic anemia examinations and provide counseling about anemia and prevention efforts

Abstract

The implementation of public health which carried out in hospitals is determined by the provision of health care facilies, especially medical devices. To maintenance the properimplementation it needs to be supported by the amount of human resources, costs, infrastructure, Standard Operating Procedures for maintenance of medical devices and using MFK 8 as a guide. The problem found in this study is in case of carrying out the maintenance of medical devices not using the hospital accreditation standard. The purpose of this study is to know the management of medical device in hospital X. This research was a qualitative method. This research was conducted in August-September 2018. The informant in this study were 6 people who were taken based on the principle of sufficiency. Data processing used Triangulation. Data analysis used content analysis. The results showed that the maintenance of medical devices had not optimally due to lack of human resources and also constrained bycosts so that it had an impact on the availability of infrastructure in the hospital and the incomplete Standard Opertiang Procedures for medical devices. There was no inventory list and risk identification. There was not found evidence of medical equipment regularly checking. Should be doing the test of the function of each medical devices when buy them. Already doing a preventive and calibration maintenance program. Do not have technicians (ATEM) to carry out maintenance of medical devices. Keywords : ATEM, MFK 8, Resources

Abstract

Poor Sanitaon, trash management, and the blockage of waterways was a cause of the high populaon of rodents. Rodent were known as vector of infecon diseases such Leptospirosis and Salmonellosis and it very important to protect housing sanitaon in Pekanbaru, especially Kampung Baru. This study aims to determine the relaonship between the physical condion of the house and the behavior of the community to the existence of rat vector in Kampung Baru village, Senapelan sub-district, Pekanbaru City. This study was a quantave analyc with crossseconal design. Populaon was house of cizen in Kampung Baru Sub-District of Senapelan Sub-Province Pekanbaru City. There were 67 households as samples in RW 06 Region. The results showed that there were correlaons on wall variables (p = 0.002), ceiling (p = 0.048), venlaon (p = 0.026), and SPAL (p = 0.020). There was no correlaon on the variable of the goodslayout (p = 0,060), and waste management (p = 0,437) The layout of respondent goods smoothed every 1-2 weeks and daily garbage management always take the household waste and dispose of directly to the disposal place the end of the far away from their community. We recommend that people should pay more aenon to cleanliness in the environment where they lived to avoid the rodent vector that can enter their home. A reproductive health problem faced by women presents an increase in infections of the reproductive organ’s sequel will cause cancer, one of them is cervical cancer. Cervical cancer is a primary tumor strike the organs of the female reproductive, between themselves and the uterus. The purpose of this is to analyze the research behavior of women visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA) positive in advanced examination detection of cervical cancer. Data in this study was obtained through observation and in-depth interviews of as many as 11 informants where there are the main informants, 5 informans advocates, and 1 key informant. The data validity used triangulation method. Data analyzed by content analysis. The results of observation and interview showed that there was low knowledge and attitudes of women with VIA positive because of their education background were elementary and junior high school, while knowledge is a basic of further examination. Information obtained through print media, and electronic media. Health workers were conducted counseling mobile VIA and cilical breast examination. Women with VIA positive is unwilling to conduct the advanced examination, fear, because of stress, shame, and less comfortable and poor awareness of the importance of advanced examination. Family encouragement doesn't obtain because women VIA positive checked, without the knowledge of the family while the family is the part most important give support to conducts the advanced examination. Abstract

Supplies are a number of materials or goods provided by the Hospital, both in the form of finished goods, raw materials, or all related items for the smooth running of the Hospital to meet patient requests. The aim of the study was to analyze the process of managing pharmaceutical supplies in the Pharmacy Installation of Bhayangkara TK III Pekanbaru Polda Riau Hospital. This type of research is a descriptive study with a qualitative method approach, carried out at Bhayangkara Hospital, Riau Regional Police with a total of 7 informants. This research was conducted by conducting in-depth interviews and field observations and document review, and data processing was done by data triangulation. From the results of the study it was found that the selection, planning, procurement, receipt, storage, distribution, control, deletion and administration of drug supplies in general has not gone well, but some obstacles experienced were in the selection of drugs determined by doctors, drugs often used by doctors drugs that are not available in the hospital or outside the formulary due to lack of human resources, preparation of drugs not in accordance with alphabet, found there is an error in distributing drugs to rooms, PJ Room that does not want to return drugs that are not used so that there is a buildup of drugs that expire in the room and not returned to the drug warehouse, there was no special team for drug management so that when the drug stock was lacking, the pharmacists bought it at a nearby pharmacy located near the hospital. For this reason, the management of pharmaceutical supplies is given more attention, especially in the field of pharmacy, in accordance with alphabets, drugs are always available and used by doctors, expired drugs are reduced every year and stock cards are filled every day

Abstract

Tuberculosis (pulmonary TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium Tuberculosis, which can attack the lungs and other organs. Rumbai Community Health Center in Rumbai Coastal District has experienced an increase in lung tuberculosis cases each year with the number in 2018-2019 there were 78 cases (35.8%). The purpose of this study was to determine the risk factors for nutritional status, behavior, contact history, and occupancy density for the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis. This type of research uses obsevational quantitative methods with case control design. The location of the study was conducted in the Work Area of ​​the Rumbai Puskesmas in the Rumbai Coastal District in June-July 2019. The population of this study were some patients with pulmonary tuberculosis and non-pulmonary tuberculosis patients who were registered in the medical records of the Rumbai health center. Respondents in this study were 90 respondents conducted by interview and observation to 45 respondents of pulmonary tuberculosis cases and 45 control respondents who were not patients with pulmonary tuberculosis were selected using systematic random sampling technique. Data collection using questionnaires and cross checks. The analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis with chi-square test with a confidence level of 95%. The results showed that nutritional status (p-value = 0,000, OR = 25,107 CI 95% = 8,268 - 76,245), contact history (p-value = 0,000, OR = 13,000 CI 95% = 4,505 - 37,510) and behavior (p- value = 0.009, OR = 3.532 CI 95% = 1.440 - 8.665) is a risk factor for the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis. It is recommended to health centers to increase information related to prevention of the occurrence of pulmonary tuberculosis and conduct active surveillance to break the chain of transmission of pulmonary tuberculosis
