Abstract

The technique of providing basic and quick life support (BHD) and transportation to patients with cardiac and pulmonary arrest can save a patient's life. An ambulance driver as one of the ambulance personnel should be equipped with the two forms of skills above. The aim of community service is to increase the capacity of ambulance drivers in terms of providing basic life support skills and patient transportation to improve patient safety. This training was held in September 2019, at the H. Adam Malik General Hospital Training Center Installation Medan, with 24 participants. The training is carried out with 2 methods, namely exposure to BHD theory and BHD skills training. The knowledge and skills of participants before and after the training were assessed. Pre and post assessment results were analyzed using paired t-test with a significance level of p <0.05 Ambulance drivers in the Medan Tuntung and Medan Sunggal area are mostly over 30 years old, with most working as ambulance drivers for more than 5 years. The most recent level of education is high school graduation or equivalent. The results of statistical analysis using paired t-test, obtained a significant difference in the knowledge of ambulance drivers about basic life support theory before and after training (p = 0.000). Likewise, ambulance driver skills in providing basic life support for adult patients, infants and children were significantly different before and after training (p = 0.000). Abstract

Indonesia currently has Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Criminal Justice System for Children (UU-SPPA) to provide protection for children who need special protection such as child offenders, victims and witnesses. In fact, the implementation of the UU-SPPA actually only focuses on children as perpetrators. This not only shows that justice for children is still not upright especially for children who are victims of sexual violence. This is evident from the findings of a study conducted in 2019 entitled "The Effectiveness of the Convention on the Rights of the Child Victims of Sexual Violence". This study found that although Indonesia already has 2 government regulations governing the fulfillment of victims of sexual violence in the form of compensation and or restitution, none of the decisions of the Medan District Court and Lubuk Pakam contain the rights of victims. The decisions of the Medan District Court and Lubuk Pakam throughout 2018 were oriented towards providing penalties for the perpetrators. The two Government Regulations which are guidelines for implementing the Law are (a) Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 7 of 2018 concerning Provision of Compensation, Restitution and Assistance to Witnesses and Victims; and (b) Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 43 Year 2017 Concerning Implementation of Restitution for Children Who Are Victims of Criminal Acts. These two Government Regulations are the basic ingredients for the implementation of the 2019 Mandatory Servant Lecturer service dedication. This situation is the basis of community service in two districts namely Medan Baru and Medan Sunggal. Law Enforcement Officials (APH) in this case the police and the community not only obtain new information about victims' rights but also increase their awareness to guarantee the rights of children victims of sexual violence are requested in legal proceedings for perpetrators. Furthermore, the Police and the community hope that the information on these two Government Regulations can be continued both by the Regional Government Organization (OPD) and other institutions such as the Civil Society Organization (CSO) in Medan.

Abstract

Great potential as a producer of Goldfish and Tilapia in the Haranggaol Village is very large, and the production of fish is very well known up to the city of Medan, each Goldfish buyer knows the quality of Goldfish originating from the Haranggaol Region and has a relatively high price (above average) (average price of goldfish from other regions), but the fish production can be developed further from economic value if obtained in other forms such as fish processing into fish nuggets which are still rarely carried out by the local community, by looking at the potential quantity and quality of fish in Haranggaol Village. used as a potential source of Social Welfare for the community, especially the wamad mamak (recitation of mothers) group who routinely conduct recitation in the Haranggaol Village.

Abstract

Agriculture is the activity of utilizing biological resources carried out by humans to produce food, raw materials or energy sources, and to manage their environment. The use of biological resources included in agriculture is commonly understood by people as crop cultivation or farming (English: crop cultivation) and raising livestock (raising), even though its scope can also be in the use of microorganisms and bioenzymes in processing advanced products. Based on the analysis of the situation in Pardomuan Motung Village, the problems obtained include environmental conditions which are agricultural areas that produce a lot of waste through agricultural and livestock products caused by the lack of community knowledge about waste treatment.
