Abstract

Nanofibers is one of the results of composites that have an important role in the industrial field, wound dressing, drug delivery and tissue engineering. Manufacturing of nanofibers can be carried out using electrospinning. Electrospinning is an easy, fast and simple technique for produced fibers with sizes ranging from micrometers to nanometers. We explained how to produce and the characteristics of nanofibers.  The purpose of this study was to see the characterization of PVP/CA fiber. The fiber were made with consentration of PVP 10.4% (w/w) and mixed with variation of chitosan 0.5%;1%;1.5% (w/w). Process parameter that used in this research such us flowrate 0,20 ml/hour, high voltage 12 kV, and speed of drum is 200 rpm with the distances to needle tip of collector is 75 cm. The result showed that the morphology of fiber PVP/CA are bead fiber and bead free. The average diameter of PVP/CA fibers was 234;267;325 nm. Adding chitosan made the diameter of fibers increase. The XRD result shown that the fibers of PVP/CA/AE has an amorf phase. The fibers were potentially used in any sectors.

Abstract

The purpose of this Systematic Literature Review (SLR) is to identify the cybergogy trends in cognitive psychology in physics learning from 2019-2023. The focus of this review includes research methods, technology used, links to cognitive psychology, and physics concepts. A total of 60 articles (60 articles indexed Scopus and 29 of them indexed Scopus and WoS) were used in this review using the Prisma guide. The analysis was carried out with the help of NVivo12 as well as percentage calculations. The results show that: 1) The research method used is dominated by quasi-experiments (22%); 2) The technology used in learning is dominated by virtual reality/lab (35%); 3) Most of the links with cognitive psychology are devoted to conception (33%), and; 4) Physics concepts that are widely used in research are dominated by concepts related to electricity and magnetism (27%). The results of this review indicate that research on cybergogy directly in physics learning is still minimal. However, if it is generalized to research on technology in physics learning over the last five years, it can be seen that the trend is quite good. Thus, the results of this review recommend further research in developing technologies that are popular in physics learning cybergogy, such as the development of virtual reality/lab or Augmented Reality.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the cognitive structure and problem-solving of high school students in business materials and energy based on the framework of assimilation and accommodation. The method used is a mixed research method with an explanatory sequential design. Data collection was carried out on 53 students in class X using diagnostic test instruments in a five-tier format, then continued with the provision of description tests and interviews to three research subjects with different comprehension categories. The test results showed that students' understanding of concepts was 30.2% in the energy change sub-material, and 52.8% in the non-understanding of concepts in the relationship between potential, kinetic and mechanical energy. Meanwhile, the misconception of the concept was known at 23.6% where students considered the amount of effort to depend on the length of the trajectory taken. Solving problems of subjects with different comprehension categories showed that all three subjects had a less coherent local cognitive structure. Subjects with a conceptual understanding category (S3) have a better assimilation process than subjects with a non-conceptual category (S2). However, it was found that there were subjects with a misconception category (S1) who could solve problems through the assimilation process from beginning to end, this shows that the assimilation process can occur when the subject has the same knowledge scheme as the problem at hand. The accommodation process shows that the subject has a different knowledge scheme with new information/problems faced, especially in mathematical calculations and foreign terms. This is due to associative thinking, intuition and incomplete reasoning.

Abstract

Eye fatigue may be brought on by the room's inappropriate lighting level. Classroom lighting is one of the physical aspects of learning that can impact how well students learn. The University of Muhammadiyah Lamongan has never reviewed the amount of light present in classrooms, nevertheless. Therefore, in this study, we brought up the issue of the connection between the classroom's light intensity and the measure of the impact of eye tiredness on the efficacy of learning at Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan. Based on a review of the outcomes of mapping light intensity in classrooms at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan, this study intends to ascertain the impact of room light intensity on eye fatigue in students as well as review classroom facilities. Analytical observation is the research methodology used. The information was gathered using a questionnaire about using a lux meter to measure light intensity and creating two- and three-dimensional contour maps of the distribution of light intensity in classrooms. Following the collection of data from the two processes, the data was examined to determine whether the respondent survey results and the light intensity contour map data could be correlated based on the respondent's seat in the classroom. Students that were enrolled in classes at Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan were the respondents. According to the study's findings, eye fatigue affects students in class A302 at Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan because of the room's low light intensity values, which range from 56.5 to 67.6 Lux.  If the light intensity value is greater than 69 lux and is evenly distributed among all coordinate locations, which are the points where students are seated during lecture activities in class A302, the weary eye effect will vanish.

Abstract

Ethnoscience-based learning is limited to constructing community knowledge into scientific knowledge, it needs to be directed at solving problems that occur in local potential/culture. The research aims to analyze students' problem-solving abilities in learning using the Ethnoscience Based Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) Approach. The research uses a quantitative approach, true experimental method, and pretest-posttest control group design type. The research sample was taken using the simple random sampling method. Problem-solving ability is measured using description questions and analyzed using a percentage scale. To see the difference in problem-solving abilities between the experimental class and the control class, the t-test was used and to see how big the difference was, the Gain test was used. The research results showed that 81% of students' problem-solving abilities were in the good category. The results of the t-test show that there is a difference in problem-solving abilities between classes that apply the ethnoscience-based Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) approach and those that do not, as indicated by the tcount of 7.396 which is greater than the ttable of 2.045. The difference in students' problem-solving abilities is 0.74 in the high category. The impact of being trained in the stages of problem-solving on each topic of local problems, students have good problem-solving abilities.
