Abstract

Tafsir di era kontemporer dituntut untuk mampu menyajikan petunjuk-petunjuk al-Qur’an secara dinamis dalam rangka menjawab tantangan zaman. Demi memenuhi kebutuhan itu, tak sedikit mufassir masa kini yang berupaya menyusun tafsir-tafsirnya dengan gaya, pendekatan, dan metode yang berbeda dengan tafsir-tafsir klasik. Al-Tafsi>r al-Wasi>t} li-al-Qur’a>n al-Kari>m karya Muh}ammad Sayyid T{ant}a>wi> adalah salah satu karya tafsir yang ditulis untuk memenuhi kebutuhan itu. Tulisan ini tidak sependapat dengan pandangan yang menilai tafsir kontemporer sebagai genre tafsir yang memiliki distinggsi epistemologis tersendiri, namun mendukung pendapat yang memahami tafsir kontemporer secara terbuka sebagai karya-karya tafsir yang ditulis di masa kini dengan beragam genre-nya. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan interpretatif, tulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa al-Tafsi>r al-Wasi>t} adalah salah satu tafsir kontemporer yang ditulis untuk merespon berbagai persoalan kehidupan saat ini. Epistemologi tafsir ini berpatok pada tiga prinsip utama, yaitu penyajian produk tafsir secara praktis; integrasi antara riwayat dan nalar; dan orientasi pada pemecahan permasalahan kontemporer. Meski bertumpu pada metodologi tafsir tradisional, tafsir ini relatif mampu menghadirkan penafsiran yang fleksibel terkait isu-isu kontemporer tertentu, tanpa menegasikan kaidah-kaidah yang disepakati bersama (al-qat}‘iyya>t).

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the extent of interest in reading the Quran among @ngajilagi.id followers, the level of engagement of Instagram users with the @ngajilagi.id account, and whether there's a correlation between interest in Quranic reading and Instagram activity among followers in Indonesia. This research adopted a quantitative ex-post facto approach, employing targeted sampling and simple linear regression analysis for hypothesis testing. The findings indicate a substantial level of interest in Quranic reading in Indonesia. The study revealed that 4% fell within the deficient category, 21% in the low category, 29% in the medium category, 36% in the high category, and 10% in the very high category. Regarding Instagram activity on @ngajilagi.id in Indonesia, it was moderate. The analysis indicated that 8% fell within the deficient category, 21% in the low category, 38% in the mild category, 23% in the high category, and 10% in the very high category. Based on the analysis and data processing conducted by the researchers, it was found that the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05. This indicates that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the activity of followers of the Instagram account @ngajilagi.id influences the interest in reading the Qur'an in Indonesia, with an influence of 24.7%.

Abstract

Seeing the reality of today's society, moral degradation has arisen in humans, so it is essential to improve ourselves by returning humans to their existence as servants of Allah SWT. One alternative is to study and practice the teachings of Sufism. In the teachings, there are spiritual stages (maqâmât) to achieve perfection as a servant of Allah. The focus of this research is to examine Hamka's interpretation style in al-Azhar's tafsir by explaining his interpretation regarding the maqâmât verses so that the dimensions of Sufism and its relevance found in Hamka's al-Azhar tafsir are known. This research aims to find out Hamka's style and interpretation in al-Azhar's interpretation regarding the maqâmât verses and the dimensions of Sufism contained in them so that we can find out whether maqâmât is still relevant or not to be practiced in the present era. The methodology used in this research is qualitative library research (library research) with a mauḍu'i model of the Sufism approach that focuses on maqâmât verses using descriptive-analytical analysis of Hamka's Sufism thought. The results of this discussion show thatHamka's interpretation of the verses of maqâmât is in the style of Sufism by exploring the meaning of zahir and theinner meaning in which there are nuances to society (Adabi Ijtima'i) covering the socio-culture of Indonesianculture so that the dimension of Sufism contained in Hamka's interpretation is still very relevant to modern lifetoday.

Abstract

القرآن هو وحدة متينة، كهيكل بناء قوي لا يمكن فصله، ومترابط بشكل وثيق بين الآيات وبين السور فيه. ولكنّ يرى ريتشارد بيل خلاف ذلك، على سبيل المثال يعتقد أن سورة نوح ليست بشكل منهجي وهناك عدة أخطاء وأغلاط في وضع الآيات، خاصّة في الآية الخامسة فهي ليست في وحدة واحدة. فيهدف هذا البحث إلى كشف بنية سورة نوح بتطبيق أساس التحليلي البلاغي السامي على تلك السورة مطابقة بالبنية المتوازية أو المحورية أو المعكوسة. وذلك باستخدام الأسلوب التحليلي لمعالجة البيانات والإجابة على مشكلة البحث، مع المنهج التحليل البلاغي السامي لإيجاد البنية النصية من سورة نوح والمناسبة لإيجاد الارتباط بين الآيات فيها. ونتائج هذا البحث هي على حسب التحليلي البلاغي السامي تنكشف بنية سورة نوح حيث أنها مقطع واحد يحتوي على 3 أجزاء و7 أقسام وتشكل بنية محورية متوازية (أ ب /ₓ/ أ′ ب′). وكل قسم وجزء له علاقة بالأقسام والأجزاء الأخرى التي تدل على حسن المناسبة، حتى لم يكن هناك ترتيب آيات غير مرتبط بين الآيات السابقة والآيات اللاحقة، كما في الآيات 5-7 الذي يشرح دعوة نوح المكثفة ورفض قومه لدعوته. وهذا الاكتشاف يفنّد رأي رتشارد بيل، لأن كل آية في سورة نوح قادرة على أن تكون متماثلة مع آية أخرى من مستوي الأدنى إلى مستوى أعلى. وخلاصة هذا البحث أن سورة نوح منظمة بشكل منهجي ومرتبة بين آياتها.

Abstract

In social life, humans cannot be separated from communication between others. In human consciousness as social beings, there is a need to share a sense of responsibility and nurture younger individuals from older individuals. One of the social problems that often occurs is social crimes against children (pedophilia). The reason why someone becomes a pedophile is because they have a traumatic past, cannot socialize, feel low self-esteem, economic factors, etc. The Qur'an describes this sexual disorder. The Qur'an describes this sexual disorder as an abominable act in Qs. An-Naml [27]:54 and Surah Al-An'am [6]:151 in the book of Al-Azhar interpretation by Prof. Dr. Hj Abdul Malik Abdulkarim Amrullah, also known as Buya Hamka. This heinous act is a disease; in addition to homosexuality, there is another explanation of sexual abnormalities, namely the sexual desire of older people attracted to younger ones. The results showed that this heinous act is found in the Qur'an story.

Abstract

This study explores the relevance of QS At-Tahrim verse 6 in parenting in the modern era, which faces challenges from social and technological changes. The main focus is on how Islamic parenting methods can be adapted to contemporary life demands and how this verse can serve as a foundation for developing a relevant parenting concept today. Using library research methods and a descriptive analysis approach, the study utilizes literature such as Quranic exegesis and scholarly articles on Islamic parenting. Through Tahlili and ijmali exegesis, the research finds that this verse emphasizes the role of parents in protecting themselves and their families from the fire of Hell through strict religious education and supervision of children. The study links these Islamic parenting principles with modern parenting models, such as positive and authoritative parenting, which share similarities in supervision, discipline, and communication. The conclusion is that QS At-Tahrim verse 6 is relevant for modern parenting and provides guidance in shaping a generation that is strong both spiritually and intellectually.
