Abstract

Character education is a learning process that provides support for the social-emotional and ethical development of students and an effort to build character. Character education aims to form a person who is devoted and faithful and who is more responsible for all behaviors possessed by students, such as self-confidence, innovation, passion, competitiveness, creativity, honesty, high social spirit, and kindness. With The application of character education in every aspect of learning is expected to support the creation of a more moral education. This article is the result of an analysis using the literature study method, or literature review. The results of the study show that exemplary teachers are continuously needed in efforts and struggles to instill noble values in strengthening student character, both in aspects of behavior, attitudes, and habits in the school environment and in other environments. The success of character education in schools depends entirely on how teachers conduct lessons. A teacher is a role model; a teacher is the pinnacle of everything. What a teacher does affects the development of students.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology and the lack of digital education for the community make all groups use social media freely without education. In this case, the concern is students who are still in elementary school and who are already using social media freely. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study type. The main data source in this research is news articles about elementary school children who are influenced by social media so that it has an impact on children's behavior and character education, which is sourced from online news portals on the internet regarding the case. The result of the discussion of this case is that the incident ended peacefully in a family manner. Abstract

The purpose of this research is improving the discipline of grade 4 students at SD Negeri Tingkir Tengah 02 Salatiga City for the 2023 academic year by using the Velue Clarification Technique learning technique. In this study using Classroom Action Research which consists of two cycles. This research used as subjects students in class IV Semester I at SD Negeri Tingkir Tengah 02, Salatiga City, academic year 2023 with a total of 26 students.. The data collection technique is observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using triangulation techniques and descriptions. Cycle I produced a 53.85% classical percentage and continued the research in Cycle II to obtain 80.77% classical results. From the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the learning model using Velue Clarification Technique has succeeded in improving the discipline of class IV Semester I students at SD Negeri Tingkir Tengah 02, Salatiga City, for the 2023 academic year.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are analyzing the effect of academic supervision with class visitation and its strength to the pedagogic competency teachers’ in managing the class. This is an experiment research. The place of this research is in Kedungringin General Elementary School. The moment of this research is from February up to May of 2023. The independent variable (X) is the minister academic supervision with class visitation. The dependent variable (Y) is the pedagogic competency teachers in managing the class.  The population is 8 teachers. The tool of collecting data is questionnaire (polling). The technique of analyzing data is using Paired Sample t Test. The result of this research is academic supervision with class visitation has very strong and significant effect to the pedagogic competency teachers in managing the class. tcalculation on [-12,28] with  significance on 0,000 is bigger than ttable (1,894). Before the treatment (pretest), the pedagogic competency teachers’ is including on good enough category (C). After the treatment (posttest), the pedagogic competency teachers’ is including on good category (B).

Abstract

The purposes of this research are describing the application of the Concept Sentence Method on the Social Science about the Interaction between Countries in Asia and other Countries in Class IX I of 1 Rembang Junior High School, First Semester 2023/2024 Academic Year and analyzing the enhancement of learning outcomes. The type of this research is Class Action Research (CAR). The place of this research is in class IX I of 1 Rembang Junior High School. The time of this research is middle of August until early of September. The subjects of this research are 30 students; consist of 16 boys and 14 girls. The techniques of collecting data are test with multiple choices as the tool and non test with sheet of observation and camera application as the tools. The technique of analyzing data of this research is comparative description. The model of this research is Cycle Model. The results of this research are the application of the Concept Sentence Method in individually with synchronized the concepts to the material coverage and the learning outcomes enhanced gradually and continuously. Abstract

This research is a type of quantitative research. The number of samples was 27 students of SD Negeri Madyotaman No. 38 Surakarta for the 2022/2023 academic year who were selected through a saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The test was carried out twice, namely pretest and posttest with the aim of determining the improvement of students' science learning literacy skills before and after treatment. Data analysis techniques in the form of hypothesis tests with T-tests using the Paired Sample T-test formula. Data analysis obtained tcount = 13.521 and ttable with dk = (N-1) so (27-1) = 26 with a significance level of 5% which is 1.706. Then tcount > ttable or 13.521 > 1.706 which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it was concluded that "There is an influence of the use of TPACK-based Problem Based Learning Learning Model on Class IV science learning literacy skills of SD Negeri Madyotaman No.38 Surakarta for the 2022/2023 academic year" at a significance level of 5%.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the analysis of language errors in the field of morphology in the narrative essays of 6th grade students at SD 1 Lau. This approach uses a qualitative, descriptive research approach. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data collection of words and sentences containing language errors in the field of morphology in the narrative essays of grade VI students of SD 1 Lau was carried out by observing and using the documentation method and simak catat. Based on the results of the identification of errors that have been obtained, they are then processed through technical data analysis work. Data obtained by reading each essay of grade VI students and noting the use of incorrect language. Based on the results of the study, it shows that grade VI students of SD 1 Lau still experience errors in writing student narrative essays. These errors are: errors in writing prepositions; errors in using the prefix ke-; errors in using the prefix di-; errors in writing the suffix -nya; errors in writing the suffix -an; errors in omitting the suffix -i; errors in using the confix or simulfix men; errors in using the confix or simulfix ber; and errors in writing reduplication.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes on Pancasila education content by applying Javanese culture. This research includes quantitative research by taking pretest and posttest data to see whether this research is successful or not. The sample used by researchers was one group consisting of one class totaling 25 students with different characters and emotions. The results of the research show that there is an increase in learning outcomes as evidenced by an increase in learning outcomes from the pretest and posttest. There are 10 students in the high criteria, 9 students in the medium criteria, and 6 students in the low criteria out of a total of 25 students. , while the average posttest score was 87.52 from 25 students. From these gains, there is an average difference of 18.44. With this difference in average, it can be said to be significant because there is an increase in the academic achievement of class IV students at Wonotingal Elementary School.

Abstract

The research started from the researcher's observation in class V of SD Supriyadi 02; it was found that some students were distracted while learning, and their learning outcomes were still low, only reaching 42% of the KKM 75. The research was conducted during the first semester of the 2023–2024 academic year, mainly in October and November 2023, in class V of SD Supriyadi 02 in Semarang. The research subjects consisted of 28 students, with 13 boys and 15 girls who were grade V learners. The method used was classroom action research. The purpose of this study is to improve the achievement of learning outcomes in nature subjects on material related to human respiratory organs in class V SD Supriyadi 02 by applying a problem-based learning model. The results showed that the application of the problem-based learning model succeeded in improving the learning outcomes of IPAS in grade V students of SD Supriyadi 02 in the 2023–2024 academic year. Before the PTK was carried out, only 42% of students reached the lower category. However, after the action in cycle 1, there was an increase to 65% in the sufficient category. Furthermore, in cycle 2, there was a further increase to 82% in the good category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Asmaul Husna reading habituation program that strengthens students' character education at Wonotingal Elementary School. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods with phenomenological research. Data collection methods were carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation. While the data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, The results of this study found that strengthening character education through the asmaul husna reading habituation program, which is attended by all students and teachers who are Muslim, is carried out every Wednesday from 07.00 WIB until 08.00 WIB, ending with art performance activities or showing off for students. This can make the personalities of students good, positive, disciplined, creative, religious, honest, tolerance, curiosity, friendly and communicative, care for the environment, and responsible.
