Abstract

Purwakarta Regency is one of the regions in West Java that remains focused on restoring local wisdom in its community, one of which is the promotion of the special 7 Poe Atikan Purwakarta program in Purwakarta. Strengthening the implementation of character education in Purwakarta Regency includes several functions of training and mentoring students both inside and outside school according to the level of elementary school education, improving themselves who are empowered, have a strong mentality, spiritual, have good morals and have the skills they need for themselves, both in the community and at school. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach and the method used is a literature review.  Based on the content of the 7 Special Atikan Poe program implemented in Purwakarta area schools, it is very desirable because judging from the content of activities that take place from Monday to Friday it can foster good habits of students so that their character will be formed. become. It also appears, shaping the character of religion, mutual aid, nationalism, integration, and independence that the nation awaits

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the character of elementary school-age children, and character education for elementary school children, as well as the role of teachers and parents in building children's character. This research uses a type of qualitative research using the method of literature study or literature study. Subjects in the study were taken from various previous studies that had similarities or relevance to this research. The results of this study indicate that character education has a significant role in the moral formation of children at elementary school age, this role must be supported and assisted by teachers and parents as the main actors in the formation of good character and morals of children. Education and instilling good character and morals in elementary school-age children can be carried out by carrying out learning that has positive values, developing social skills, and instilling an understanding of the consequences of every action taken by children at elementary school age.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam penanaman nilai-nilai karakter peserta didik khususnya pada anak sekolah dasar. Program 7 Poe atikan hadir untuk membentuk karakter perserta didik sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pandangan masyarakat terutama guru dan orangtua pada efektifitas penerapan program 7 poe atikan sebagai acuan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis kajian deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui hasil survey dan studi kepustakaan. Dari penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil bahwasanya efektifitas penerapan program 7 poe atikan di Purwakarta ini efektif dalam membentuk karakter siswa di sekolah. Sehingga Pendidikan yang dijalankan tidak hanya menjadikan siswa cerdas secara akademik, namun memiliki karakter yang baik bagi kehidupan bangsa. Hal ini diharapkan menjadi perhatian penting dan kerja sama dari berbagai pihak seperti keluarga, sekolah, guru, masyarakat dan dinas pemerintah agar anak dapat menerapkannya di dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Abstract

Pendidikan di Indonesia perlu mengintegrasikan nilai kebudayaan sebagai dasar untuk membangun dan mengembangkan kehidupan yang lebih beradab. Hal ini agar peserta didik memiliki tolak ukur moral yang perlu mencakup nilai-nilai kebudayaan di era globalisasi. Globalisasi membawa dampak dalam kehidupan sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan pendidikan karakter berbasis budaya dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Pendidikan karakter ini merupakan nilai yang perlu diwujudkan dalam kelangsungan hidup bangsa, yang akan menjadi tumpuan anak bangsa Indonesia untuk menjadi pribadi yang berkualitas, sesuai dengan 18 nilai-nilai karakter yang berlandaskan pada budaya bangsa. Pendidikan tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kebudayaan. Pendidikan karakter ini sebaiknya dapat dilakukan melalui pendekatan komprehensif (global) dan holistik (menyeluruh). serta dapat dilaksanakan dengan melalui proses pembelajaran (teaching), keteladanan (modeling), penguatan (reinforcing), dan pembiasaan (habituating).

Abstract

In the 21st century, the rapid development of technology has penetrated the world of education. Learners are required to adapt to the digital world. In positive terms, technology makes it easier for students to access learning. But in fact, technology is like a double-edged knife. Technology can have a negative impact on students, one of which is the fading of the morals and ethics of the nation's children. Therefore, to encourage quality and moral education, the government held a Strengthening Character Education (PPK) program. This research uses a literature study method (library research). This article is reviewed with the aim of realizing the importance of implementing character education to shape the characteristics of students in the 21st century to become advanced, superior, and intelligent individuals. The research results of this article show that character education has an important role in creating a quality young generation.

Abstract

Character education in this digital era is quite a spotlight in the world of education. The purpose of this research is to examine and understand the "Role of Character Education in Facing the Digital Era" which is related to the social sphere. The research was conducted using the literature study method from a qualitative approach, by searching for and also reading existing written sources such as a book or literature in which there is an explanation related to theoretical studies. The results of this study are seen from several articles that explain character education which has a role when facing the digital era.

Abstract

A gadget is a digital technology in the era of globalization that has an active role in social life and has a significant influence, especially on students who use it. Because gadgets are easily available at an affordable price, they can be tailored to the needs of their users, so there are various features that can be used. This study was conducted to determine the responses of respondents related to the effect of gadget use on the character education of students in the era of globalization. This method is carried out in research using questionnaires and literature studies. There were 80 respondents, consisting of 8 students (10%), 15 teachers (18.18%), 39 students (48.8%), 5 housewives (6.3%), and 13 members of the general public (16.2%). Based on the results of the questionnaire, the use of gadgets by students affects their character education; they tend to be more apathetic, have an irrational mindset, and lack sympathy. In addition, students often leave their obligations, namely worship, because they are too engrossed in using their gadgets.

Abstract

Character education is education that aims to instill character values in students so that they have good or noble morals, tolerance, and character. Korean culture, or Hallyu, is a South Korean culture that produces many products such as drama, music, movies, fashion, food, and lifestyle that spread in Indonesia. These products are growing more rapidly due to digital-based technology. This research uses qualitative research with a literature review, which is a series of activities related to how to collect data and obtain information based on books, journals, newspapers, magazines, and others. In this study, the researcher used the influence of K-Pop culture on the character education of the nation's children because the nation's children were fanatical and liked K-Pop excessively, so the researcher raised this phenomenon. With this literature study, researchers have a lot of information about the influence of K-pop culture on the character education of the nation's children.

Abstract

Character education is a learning process that provides support for the social-emotional and ethical development of students and an effort to build character. Character education aims to form a person who is devoted and faithful and who is more responsible for all behaviors possessed by students, such as self-confidence, innovation, passion, competitiveness, creativity, honesty, high social spirit, and kindness. With The application of character education in every aspect of learning is expected to support the creation of a more moral education. This article is the result of an analysis using the literature study method, or literature review. The results of the study show that exemplary teachers are continuously needed in efforts and struggles to instill noble values in strengthening student character, both in aspects of behavior, attitudes, and habits in the school environment and in other environments. The success of character education in schools depends entirely on how teachers conduct lessons. A teacher is a role model; a teacher is the pinnacle of everything. What a teacher does affects the development of students.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology and the lack of digital education for the community make all groups use social media freely without education. In this case, the concern is students who are still in elementary school and who are already using social media freely. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study type. The main data source in this research is news articles about elementary school children who are influenced by social media so that it has an impact on children's behavior and character education, which is sourced from online news portals on the internet regarding the case. The result of the discussion of this case is that the incident ended peacefully in a family manner.
