Abstract

One of the growing tourism trends is tourism villages. The beginning of Sumberbulu Tourism Village, Mojogedang District, Karanganyar Regency, was formed from the existence of tourism opportunities to make Sumberbulu Tourism Village included in the top 50 of the 2021 Indonesian Tourism Village Award (ADWI) and won 1st place in the souvenir category. Welcomed by high community participation is the basis for building cooperation in tourism development. Based on the title presented above, the problem in this research is the form of community participation in the development of Sumberbulu Tourism Village. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using indicators put forward by Josef Riwu Kaho (2007: 127) namely participation in decision making, participation in implementation, participation in benefit taking and participation in evaluation. This research uses a qualitative research approach with a qualitative analysis model using the Miles, Huberman and Saldana model, namely by (1) Data Collection, (2) Data Condensation, (3) Data Presentation and (4) Conclusion Drawing. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that community participation in the development of Sumberbulu Tourism Village, Mojogedang District, Karanganyar Regency was considered very good. This can be seen from the active participation of the community in the development of tourist villages, starting from the community participating in making the stages of planning, participating in implementing development activities through organized trainings, taking advantage of the development of tourist villages in the form of increased economic welfare and program evaluation activities that have been implemented. Abstract

The research aims to determine the communication strategy of the fas @ konata radio talk show program at radio konata surakarta with a research focus on communication strategies, radio konata, and the fas @ konata program. The limited means of communication media for children makes radio konata one of the media means for children to entertainment and education through radio broadcasts. The type of data and data sources in this research use descriptive qualitative using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation. The aspects examined in communication strategy based on the theory of communication strategy steps include : 1. Getting to know the audience, 2. Determining goals, 3. Developing messages, 4. Determining methods and choosing the media used. Overall, we get an overview of Konata Surakarta Radio's communication strategy to educate children through the Fas @ Konata program, namely : 1. Conducting roadshows to introduce the audience, conducting outdoor media publications and utilizing social media as a means of information and so on. 2. Establishing good relationship with broadcasters and listeners. 3. Presenting quality content, placing a different broadcast schedule at each time. 4. Utilizing technology to reach a wider audience through digital broadcasts and using Instagram social media as a means of information and so on.Keywords : Communication Strategy, Konata Radio and Fas @ Konata Program.

Abstract

Every child is unique, there are children who easily perceive external responses, but there are also those who are slow to perceive responses. Nobody wants to be born less than perfect. Deafness of hearing in deaf people has a big impact on the ability to receive information that is developing in society and has an impact on lack of verbal skills, so that in communicating with others, deaf students have language limitations, a lack of vocabulary which results in students needing special media to communicate. Education has an important role in the deaf learning phase to speak and communicate. Interpersonal communication between teachers and deaf students in the teaching and learning process is very influential in improving student’s skills. When they are new students, deaf students tend to be passive aggressive, close themselves off and find it difficult to communicate, and tend to be less sensitive to current social situations. The formulation of the problem in this research is How Teacher Interpersonal Communication Improves the Social Skills of Deaf Students in the A.B.C.D Extraordinary Elementary School, Suka Dharma Foundation, Polokarto District, Sukoharjo Regency. This research aims to determine, describe and analyzse teacher’s interpersonal communication in improving the social skills of deaf students at Suka Dharma Foundation A.B.C.D Special Elementary School, Polokarto District, Sukoharjo Regency. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in-depth interview techniques with four informants. The results of this research show that the social skills of deaf students based on each indicator proposed by Nandang Budiman are perceived by special school teachers through three main components as a result of interpersonal communication established between teachers as subjects and deaf students as objects resulting in the conclusion that the interactional communication model which was carried out successfully met the criteria for improving the social skills of deaf students which were divided into three components, namely communication skills, the ability to adapt to the environment, good relationship skills with other people.   Keywords: Interpersonal Communication, Deaf Students, Social Skills

Abstract

Starting from the phenomenon of declining sales that occurred at the Pizza Hut Solo Squarerestaurant outlet, this research was conducted to find out how the persuasive communicationprocess uses suggestive selling techniques in sales transactions on the level of sales at the PizzaHut Solo Square restaurant outlet, using descriptive qualitative methods, and using techniquescollection of observational data and in-depth interviews. This research was created in order toprovide insightful information to readers about the persuasive communication process usingsuggestive selling techniques used by cashier staff to consumers of Pizza Hut Solo Square. Theresults of the research carried out show that the persuasive communication process usingsuggestive selling techniques carried out in sales transactions by cashier staff to consumers,namely with a friendly attitude, using sentences that do not seem pushy and giving attentionand being a listener to consumers makes consumers feel comfortable and confident in makingtransactions, so that the cashier staff can recommend additional products that are useful forconsumers, in the form of selling combo packages (upselling) and selling complementary menus(cross selling). This suggestive selling not only benefits consumers but also the Pizza Hut SoloSquare restaurant outlet. Based on the results of this research, the process carried out by PizzaHut Solo Square staff in influencing consumers using persuasive communication withsuggestive selling techniques has a maximum impact on the sales level of the Pizza Hut SoloSquare outlet.Keywords: Persuasive Communication, Suggestive Selling

Abstract

This research aims to describe the Public Relations strategy of Favehotel Manahan Solo in an effort to improve the hotel's reputation. This research uses descriptive type qualitative research. The method used is a case study. This research data collection technique uses primary data obtained through interviews and observation, as well as used secondary data both through documentation and from references such as books and journals. The validation technique used is triangulation. Based on the results that the strategy implemented by Public Relations of favehotel Manahan Solo yaitu with conducting in-depth research first, after obtaining data from the field, programs are prepared or planned that are appropriate to the existing situation, then action and realization involving various parties in carrying out each program that has been planned, as well as evaluation as the final stage which aims to be a form of evaluation of work and also existing facilities so that they can be improved in the future so as to increase the reputation of the hotel. Forms of program results include social media branding, advertorials, reply to all guest comments, collabs and partnerships, CSR, media relations, joining events, and press releases.

Abstract

This study examines the Online Media Reporting Strategy of LPP RRI Surakarta in Maintaining Its Existence. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with primary data sources in the form of observations, interviews and documentation as well as secondary data sources by conducting literature studies and document studies. The informants in this study are broadcast administrators, associate experts as well as editors at LPP RRI Surakarta and also RRI online media news readers who are students, informant determination techniques using purposive sampling techniques. The data was then analyzed using Miles and Huberman's data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of this study are strategies used by LPP RRI Surakarta in choosing issues to be raised as a news including: 1) Carry out company procedures to prioritize actual issues, 2) Choose issues based on the principle of usefulness to readers, 3) Conduct direct investigations into the field, the types of news published are straight news and new features, with rubrics: news, economics, law, sports, and lifestyle, the news presentation strategy applied is to apply separate standards and there are 3 elements that are used as criteria in LPP RRI Surakarta to assess feasibility News, which contains elements of novelty, is important and interesting. Abstract

In modern times like now, people have started to switch to using digital media to carry out their daily activities, including in the field of marketing. Antik Keris Shop is one of the many businesses that choose to market their products online. Antik Keris Shop chose the Shopee marketplace as a means to market its products. Digital marketing communication activities can be used to achieve an increase in sales. By using marketing communication activities, the Antik Keris shop is able to influence consumers' interest in choosing the products offered. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the digital marketing communication activities of the Antik Keris shop on the Shopee marketplace to increase sales. This research uses the concept of Digital Marketing Communication by Philip Kotler and Gary Armstrong. The research method used by researchers in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by researchers through interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that the Antik Keris shop uses digital marketing communication activities to increase sales. The digital marketing communication activities used include advertising and sales promotions. Abstract

Ganjar Pranowo is one of the presidential candidates contesting in the 2024 election. Based on a survey conducted by LSI in 2023, Ganjar Pranowo has the highest electability with a percentage of 37 percent. However, in March 2023, Ganjar Pranowo issued a controversial statement rejecting Israel's participation in the U20 World Cup in Indonesia. A few days after his statement, FIFA revoked Indonesia's hosting rights. After the incident, Ganjar Pranowo also received attention from various online news portal media, including DETIK.COM which is the most popular and largest online news portal in Indonesia. The framing DETIK.COM of the incident becomes interesting in the midst of election season and the strong influence of the mass media. Therefore, this study aims to find out the framing of Ganjar Pranowo's news that rejected Israel's participation in the U20 World Cup. This research uses qualitative methods and is analyzed using Zhongdang Pan & Kosicki's framing analysis theory with four tools (Syntax, Script, Thematic, Rhetorical). The conclusion of this study also shows how DETIK.COM framed Ganjar Pranowo as a cadre loyal to his Party's ideology which is upright to Karno's mandate in fighting for Palestinian independence. In addition, Ganjar is considered guilty of failing the U20 World Cup, as well as being a figure who is threatened with a decline in his electability as a Presidential Candidate, following Indonesia's failure to host the U20 World Cup Keywords: Framing Analysis, DETIK.COM, Ganjar Pranowo, U20 World Cup Issues.

Abstract

Karanganyar Regency carries out integrated service policy responsibilities organized by the One Stop Integrated Service and Investment Service (DPMPTSP). This service is a digital-based non-business licensing service called SIMPEL (Electronic Service System). Practically, people manage their service needs all through an electronic service system. Through the SIMPEL service system, all non-business licensing arrangements can be carried out more easily, quickly, precisely and efficiently.The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. This research aims to describe the quality of non-business licensing services through a simple application at the Karanganyar Regency Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Service using the theory of Zeithaml, Parasuraman, Berry (in Hardiansyah (2011:41)). This model states that the success of service quality is determined by 5 indicators which serve as benchmarks for measuring service quality, these indicators are physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy In the results of research on real variables (physical evidence) based on the information used in obtaining permits which is quite easy, researchers also found that the ease of access to information available on the SIMPEL website is said to be good. In the Reliability variable, employees have followed the SOP as a work guide, and understand what information will be conveyed by the public as service users. In the Responsiveness variable, employees serve service users quickly and respond to every online and online service user. offline. In the Assurance variable, it can be said that the cost indicators and security guarantees are good and the employees are polite, courteous and friendly. The Emphaty indicator in prioritizing the interests of service users is said to be quite good, as can be seen from the statements of informants interviewed by researchers in the field. Informants expressed satisfaction with the service on this indicator. It can be concluded that all indicators carried out by researchers have worked well. Apart from that, it is recommended to DPMPTSP Karanganyar to further maximize employee performance and improve services that are already running well in accordance with the SOP and objectives of DPMPTSP Karanganyar Regency.  Keywords: Service quality, Licensing, SIMPEL Implementation

Abstract

The LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) phenomenon is an issue that is increasingly prevalent in Indonesia, there were at least 119 LGBT organizations in 28 of 34 provinces in 2013. Pros and cons certainly occur in Indonesian society, LGBT is considered to violate existing norms in this country. However, several opinions say that LGBT perpetrators should receive clear human rights protection, the perpetrators also use human rights as a form of their struggle to immediately recognize their existence. LGBT issues related to human rights have also adorned various information media in Indonesia, especially online news portals, including Detik.com, which is the most popular online news portal in Indonesia. Detik.com's framing of this phenomenon is interesting considering that LGBT people have never found clarity regarding their existence and rights. Therefore, this research aims to determine Detik.com's framing regarding LGBT news that is linked to human rights. This research uses qualitative methods and is analyzed using Zhongdang Pan & Gerald M. Kosicki's framing analysis theory with four analytical tools (Syntax, Script, Thematic, Rhetorical). The conclusions from this research also show how Detik.com frames LGBT actors as a group of figures who must have clear rights protection, and recognition of the existence of LGBT is an urgency that needs to be considered so that LGBT actors are no longer subject to acts of discrimination by any party. However, Detik.com also frames LGBT as a group that is at risk and vulnerable in terms of health and a deviation from norms in Indonesia.
