Abstract

Event musik Young Struggle lahir dan hadir untuk memperingati Anniversary ke 5tahun dari sebuah kelompok supporter sepak bola di Kabupaten Sragen. Adanya hambatan dalam proses komunikasi didalam serangkaian prosesi acara membuat ketua harus memiliki gaya komunikasi yang efektif untuk mencapai tujuan dari event yaitu meningkatkan eksistensi. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Terkait dengan teknik pengumpulan informan, Sugiyono (2019) menyatakan bahwa purposive sampling merupakan teknik sampling yang paling umum digunakan dalam penelitian kualitatif. Dalam proses validasi data, penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Yang terakhir, proses analisis data, Sugiyono (2019) mendefinisikan bahwa analisis data merupakan proses mencari dan menyusun secara sistematis data yang diperoleh dari catatan lapangan atau observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa terdapat 4 gaya komunikasi yang digunakan oleh ketua event musik Young Struggle yaitu The Equalitarian Style, The Structuring Style, The Dynamic Style, dan The Reliquishing Style. Dari berbagai gaya komunikasi ini, The Equalitarian Style merupakan gaya yang paling ideal digunakan dalam berkomunikasi, karena komunikasi terjalin secara dua arah yang dilandasi aspek kesamaan. Ciri khas gaya komunikasi ini adalah adanya feedback dari komunikator. Komunikasi yang dijalin cenderung dilakukan secara terbuka dan dinilai efektif dalam event musik Young Struggle untuk meningkatkan eksistensi di Kabupaten Sragen.   Kata kunci : Gaya Komunikasi, Kepemimpinan, Gaya Komunikasi Kepemimpinan                 ABSTRACT   The Young Struggle music event was born and present to commemorate the 5th anniversary of a football supporter group in Sragen Regency. The existence of obstacles in the communication process in a series of event processions requires the chairman to have an effective communication style to achieve the goal of the event, namely to increase existence. This type of research uses qualitative descriptive. Regarding the informant collection technique, Sugiyono (2019) stated that purposive sampling is the most common sampling technique used in qualitative research. In the data validation process, this study uses source triangulation techniques. Finally, the data analysis process, Sugiyono (2019) defines that data analysis is the process of systematically searching for and compiling data obtained from field notes or observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that there are 4 communication styles used by the chairman of the Young Struggle music event, namely The Equalitarian Style, The Structuring Style, The Dynamic Style, and The Reliquishing Style. Of these various communication styles, The Equalitarian Style is the most ideal style to use in communicating, because communication is established in two directions based on aspects of similarity. The characteristic of this communication style is the feedback from the communicator. The communication that is established tends to be done openly and is considered effective in the Young Struggle music event to increase existence in Sragen Regency.   Keywords :  Communication Style, Leadership, Leadership Communication Style

Abstract

This research focuses on interpersonal communication in the Rajasawardhana Roleplayer chat group using WhatsApp social media with the aim of describing interpersonal communication in the Rajasawardhana Roleplayer chat group. This research uses an effectiveness study proposed by Joseph A. Devito which has 5 indicators including openness, empathy, support, positive feelings, and equality. The results of this study indicate that interpersonal communication in the Rajasawardhana chat group is openness between administrators and chat group members and fellow members, administrators provide information about changes in the flow of activities to members in order to maximize workmanship where administrators have empathy for members, members give each other encouragement when they will part with one another because the Rajasawardhana Roleplayer group has been disbanded, do not force chat group members who do not want to join the topic of conversation because they must prioritize their own comfort when interacting with others, old members and new members who have joined there is no difference and all are equal. The research method used is descriptive qualitative and uses purposive sampling to determine informants based on the length of time joining the Rajasawardhana Roleplayer chat group. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that interpersonal communication in the Rajasawardhana Roleplayer chat group has five aspects of effectiveness, namely openness, empathy, support, positive feelings, and equality so that members who are members of the Rajasawardhana Roleplayer chat group have a close relationship. Abstract

One of the bands that speaks about social issues is Crashead, a band from Surakarta. Crashead is a band that has a Hardcore music genre whose songs convey messages related to social issues in their work. The purpose of this study was to determine how the Crashead band's persuasive communication on social issues at the Hardcore Everyday event. This study uses descriptive qualitative with information processing theory according to Mcguire. The informants of this study were Crashead personnel, and students who like Hardcore music and follow the Crashead band. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study showed that there was a persuasive communication process or influence in the music of the Crashead band towards the audience, namely students. The Crashead band's persuasive communication process conveys persuasive messages in the form of social issues, and the audience, namely students, paysattention to the social issue message, after that students will understand the social issue message, they will be influenced and believe the arguments of the social issue message conveyed, then there will be a new adoption position for students, and finally there is a change in student behavior desired by the Crashead band. The persuasive process occurs verbally and nonverbally to students. The Crashead band conveys its thoughts on social issues verbally through underground concerts and one of them is Hardcore Everyday as a forum for them to change the behaviorof their audience regarding social issues that are happening around us. In addition, nonverbal delivery with music listeners who listen through digital streaming platforms and through social media from the Crashead band.

Abstract

This research discusses development communication in empowering MSMEs carried out by the Boyolali Regency Cooperatives and Manpower Service using dialogical and top down communication flows by applying a participatory approach in every stage of development, from planning to utilizing the results. This type of research is descriptive research using qualitative methods. The techniques used in this research are in-depth interviews, non-participant observation and documentation. The research results show that development communication in empowering Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises carried out by the Boyolali Regency Cooperatives and Manpower Service applies a participatory approach in every stage of development, from planning to utilizing the results. Some of the main points of implementing this approach are (1) Community participation in the planning stage, namely Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are involved in discussion forums to convey ideas and the obstacles they face. (2) Community participation in the implementation stage can take various forms, such as labor contributions, provision of materials or moral support that helps facilitate the running of the empowerment program. (3) Community participation in the evaluation stage, namely Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises actors conveying their critical views and assessments regarding the effectiveness and impact of the program implemented by the Boyolali Regency Cooperatives and Manpower Service. (4) Community participation in the results utilization stage, namely Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises actors actively participate by applying the knowledge and skills obtained from the empowerment program, such as strengthening relationships, improving product quality, and utilizing social media for marketing. Abstract

Persuasive communication is communication that involves persuading and persuading which aims to change a person's attitude, opinion, or behavior. In this process, the communicator can plan to influence the communicant. The purpose of this study is to determine the persuasive communication of the Pura Mangkunegaran Tourism Public Relations in increasing visitors. The type of research used is a qualitative descriptive research method. The focus of the research in this study is how the persuasive communication of the Pura Mangkunegaran tourism public relations uses persuasive communication techniques, namely association techniques, integration techniques, reward techniques, arrangement techniques and red-herring techniques. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. In this study, the researcher used the Pura Mangkunegaran tourism public relations and Pura Mangkunegaran tourism visitors as sources. The data analysis technique used is interactive model data analysis developed by Miles and Huberman. The results of the research on persuasive communication of Pura Mangkunegaran tourism public relations in increasing visitors using persuasive communication techniques l, namely association techniques, integration techniques, reward techniques, arrangement techniques and red-herring techniques show that Pura Mangkunegaran tourism public relations uses social media which is a channel used by communication paths to convey messages from Pura Mangkunegaran tourism public relations to the community and potential local and foreign tourists. This study concludes that persuasive communication carried out by Pura Mangkunegaran tourism public relations contributes significantly to increasing the number of visitors. However, further innovation is needed in communication strategies, especially in utilizing digital technology to reach a wider audience. Abstract

Advances in communication and technology due to globalization have presented opportunitiesand challenges for the tourism sector in Indonesia. One of the developing destinations isSendang Kun Gerit, a natural bathing-based tourist attraction in Sragen Regency. Thisresearch aims to describe the marketing communication strategies implemented to increasethe number of visitors. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collectiontechniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show thatthe marketing communications implemented include online marketing via social media, publicrelations, personal selling, and sales promotions. The strategy contributed to an increase inthe number of tourists, especially during the holiday season. It is proven that every month thenumber of visitors increases and the busiest occurs in December 2024, reaching 35,231 peoplevisiting Sendang Kun Gerit.Keywords: Marketing Communications, tourism, Sendang Kun Gerit

Abstract

This study collects data on the role of organizational communication at Lanext Coffee and Space in mitigating conflict among employees. It highlights how perceived conflict arises from different goals, beliefs, and attitudes within the organization, which can hinder the achievement of individual and collective goals. This study uses the formal and informal organizational communication theory by Pace and Faules, and uses qualitative methods, focusing on interviews to collect data on employee performance, organizational communication practices, and strategies for conflict resolution. The findings indicate that effective communication is essential in addressing and anticipating conflict, thus promoting a more harmonious work environment. The results of the study indicate that organizational communication at Lanext Coffee and Space is less effective. This study emphasizes the importance of clear structures and boundaries in corporate communication, which is important for all members of the organization to understand their roles and responsibilities. In addition, triangulation methods are used to validate the data collected, ensuring the credibility of the findings. Overall, this study contributes to the understanding of how organizational communication can serve as a tool to reduce conflict in the workplace environment. Abstract

BDRT FIRM is a part of the group of Surakartans supporters who support the Persis Solo team. The BDRT FIRM supporter group has a membership that tends to increase every year. However, the increase in the number of members was accompanied by the number of cases of clashes between BDRT FIRM supporters which also increased. BDRT FIRM supporters appear solid only when there are matches and when there are riots. However, after the match finished they dispersed without being organized. This research aims to determine effective group communication to increase cohesiveness among BDRT FIRM members. This research uses Umdtot theory which shows that group development at BDRT FIRM is formed from the forming element where the introduction of BDRT FIRM members. Storming, here member conflicts begin to occur. Norming, BDRT FIRM members maintain a conducive atmosphere for each other during the match. Performances, forums and anniversary celebration agendas were carried out by BDRT FIRM to build solidarity. This research also shows that group communication in building and increasing the cohesiveness of BDRT FIRM has not been effective. This is because the emotional cohesiveness of several BDRT FIRM members cannot be implemented properly. This is proven by the case where several BDRT FIRM members were involved in riots with fellow Persis Solo supporters and other supporters. The inability of BDRT FIRM members to manage their emotions shows that Emotional Cohesion in BDRT FIRM is not working as it should.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the meaning of the word jancuk in the film Lara Ati by Bayu Skak through Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. The word jancuk in the context of this film is often used as an informal term and has different connotations depending on the context. The data collection technique is in the form of documentation, namely using scenes in the film Lara Ati which show the use of the word jancuk. The research results show that the word jancuk in the film Lara Ati not only functions as a curse, but also as a greeting and a symbol of closeness in friendships. Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis helps understand how the word jancuk becomes a complex sign, containing diverse and changing meanings depending on the context. Thus, this research contributes to a deeper understanding of how symbols in the media can provide complex and varied meanings, as well as how semiotic analysis can be used to reveal these meanings. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the use of the Instagram account @tfpkopiwarun as a medium for marketing communication information for TFP Kopi Warung Pasar Gede Solo. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, with the subject being the Instagram account @tfpkopiwarun. Informants for this study were selected using purposive sampling techniques, resulting in five informants, the account manager of @tfpkopiwarun, Meynar Intan. Three followers of @tfpkopiwarun, and one visitor to TFP Kopi Warung Pasar Gede Solo who is not a follower of @tfpkopiwarun. Data collection methods used include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out descriptively interactively through data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through triangulation techniques. The results indicate that the Instagram account @tfpkopiwarun is effective in disseminating information that is both understandable and visually appealing. Posts made by the account are well received by followers, as evidenced by interactions such as likes, comments, and information sharing. The account manager consistently provides accurate and reliable information and posts with regular frequency. The attractiveness of the messages is enhanced through content selection, photography and editing, and informative caption writing.Keywords : Instagram, information media, marketing communication.
