Abstract

The rapid development of e-commerce transactions in Indonesia plays an important role in driving economic growth in Indonesia, especially amidst changes in exchange rates and interest rates that affect the overall economic situation. However, there have not been many studies that examine the influence of these three variables simultaneously using quarterly time series data. Therefore, this research is intended to be able to examine the impact of e-commerce transactions, exchange rates, and interest rates on Indonesia's economic growth during the quarterly period of 2011 to 2024. The method applied is multiple linear regression with the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method on time series data, accompanied by classical assumption tests such as autocorrelation, normality, heteroscedasticity, and multicollinearity tests to ensure the validity of the model using Eviews 12 software. The results of the study indicate that e-commerce transactions, exchange rates, and interest rates simultaneously (together) and partially (separately) have a positive and significant effect on economic growth. The resulting regression model had an R-square value of 98.7%, indicating excellent ability to explain variations in economic growth. Therefore, it can be concluded that these results form the basis for recommendations that must be analyzed holistically for digital technology integration policies through e-commerce and responsive monetary policy, which are key factors in supporting sustainable economic growth in Indonesia. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for policymakers in formulating economic strategies to remain adaptive to technological developments and macroeconomic conditions.

Abstract

The phenomenon of divorce in Indonesia shows a growing trend and has serious impacts on the psychological, social, academic, and moral conditions of children. This situation gives rise to broken homes, which place children in a vulnerable position, both emotionally and legally. This article aims to examine the legal responsibilities of parents after divorce from the perspective of positive Indonesian law and Islamic law, while analyzing their implications for child protection. This research uses a juridical-normative approach by examining Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage, the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI), and Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection, along with an analysis of relevant literature. The results of the study indicate that divorce does not eliminate parental responsibility for the care, education, and protection of children, as emphasized in legislation and the principle of the best interests of the child. However, the implementation of court decisions regarding child custody (hadhanah) and child support still faces legal, psychological, social, and institutional obstacles. Furthermore, child neglect is categorized as a criminal offense under national law, while in Islamic law it is considered a form of ta'zīr (indecent act) that contradicts the maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah (obligatory religious duties). Therefore, institutional reform is needed through strengthening mediation, counseling, and the establishment of specialized supervisory institutions, along with increasing public legal awareness. This way, post-divorce child protection can be more effectively implemented within a legal and social framework.

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of live duplicate abuse on the Shopee platform and analyzes its economic impact through the lens of Islamic economics. Using a qualitative approach with content analysis and online interviews involving Shopee affiliates and customer service representatives, this research explores the ethical and economic implications of the misuse of live streaming features. The findings reveal that the practice of duplicating live broadcasts across multiple accounts not only violates Shopee’s policies but also creates unfair competition, decreases affiliate engagement, and reduces consumer trust in the platform. From an Islamic economic perspective, such actions contradict the principles of sidq (honesty), amanah (trustworthiness), and adl (justice), which are essential for maintaining fairness and transparency in digital transactions. The study suggests that implementing maqasid al-shariah values and reinforcing regulatory control over live commerce can prevent unethical practices, protect market integrity, and promote a more sustainable e-commerce ecosystem.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively examine the characteristics and methodology of Musnad Imam Syafi'i, the work of Sheikh Muhammad 'Abid al-Sindi, which compiles the basic hadiths of Imam Syafi'i's legal arguments. This study was conducted to answer the academic need to understand the authenticity, structure, and role of the book in the development of hadith science in the 2nd century Hijriah. This study uses a qualitative, codicological and historical-descriptive approach. Primary data comes from the modern tahqiq edition of Musnad Imam Syafi'i, while secondary data are obtained from classical works such as Tarikh Baghdad (al-Khatib), Siyar A'lam al-Nubala' (al-Dzahabi), and Tahdzib al-Asma' wa al-Lughat (al-Nawawi). Data collection techniques were carried out through documentary studies and text analysis, while data analysis was carried out by analyzing the content of sanad-matan criticism, as well as verification of other works of Imam Syafi'i such as al-Umm. It was found that the Musnad of Imam Shafi'i was compiled based on the companions of the narrators, and focused on the ahadith al-ahkam. The methodology of this book demonstrates a balance between the authenticity of the sanad and legal rationality, emphasizing Imam Shafi'i's role as a link between the early tradition of hadith transmission and the textual and rational Islamic legal system. This study confirms the significance of the Musnad of Imam Shafi'i in the study of hadith and the Shafi'i school of thought, and offers a new approach by combining the study of codicology and hadith criticism to contribute to the study of methodology and the preservation of classical Islamic treasures.

Abstract

The digitisation of hadith has changed the landscape of Islamic studies globally, providing quick, broad, and interactive access to classical hadith sources. This study examines the strategic role of digital hadith maktabah in strengthening contemporary Islamic propagation, education, and research and evaluates the serious challenges that come with it, such as the spread of false hadith, copyright issues, commercialisation of knowledge, and data manipulation. Through a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach and critical literature review, this study shows that although the hadith maktabah offers easy access and efficiency, it still requires ethical standards, academic verification, and interdisciplinary collaboration to maintain the authenticity and integrity of Islamic scholarship in the digital era. The findings confirm the importance of integration between modern technology and classical scientific traditions in the responsible and sustainable utilisation of the hadith maktabah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the taʿlil al-hadith methods between Imam al-Bayhaqi and Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali, two important figures in the classical tradition of hadith criticism who represent two different methodological styles. Al-Bayhaqi is known for his jamʿwa taqwiyah approach which emphasizes the strengthening of hadith through shawahid and mutabiʿat, while Ibn Rajab stands out with his tamyiz wa tahqiq style which focuses on identifying the hidden ‘illah in the sanad. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-comparative approach to primary sources, namely al-Bayhaqi’s works such as as-Sunan al-Kubra and al-Madkhal ila as-Sunan al-Kubra, as well as Ibn Rajab’s works such as Sharh ʿIlal al-Tirmidhi and Jamiʿ al-ʿUlum wa al-Hikam. The results of this study indicate that although both have different epistemological orientations, both strive to maintain the authenticity of the hadith by balancing strengthening the sanad and exposing hidden flaws. This finding contributes to the enrichment of modern hadith criticism methodology by emphasizing the importance of integrating a textual approach with in-depth sanad analysis.

Abstract

The role of the principal has fundamentally shifted from a traditional administrative function to a role as an instructional leader that emphasizes improving the quality of learning processes and outcomes. This article is a narrative literature review that examines the evolution of the principal's role in the 21st century with a focus on the context of Indonesian schools. This study integrates findings from empirical and conceptual literature from the past five years (2020–2025) to formulate a conceptual framework regarding the tasks, competencies, practices, barriers, and policy implications for school leadership transformation. The results indicate three main shifts: (1) an orientation from administrative management to instructional and visionary leadership; (2) the need for digital competency and change management in the face of Society 5.0 and the implementation of the Independent Curriculum; and (3) the need for policy support, ongoing training, and an outcome-based evaluation system. This article recommends that educational stakeholders in Indonesia design principal development programs that are contextual, sustainable, and focused on improving learning.

Abstract

This article examines the process of digitalization of management within vocational schools and its role in improving the quality of educational governance. Digital adoption is essential to ensure efficiency, transparency, and accountability in all aspects of school management, from student administration and curriculum management to human resources and school assets. Digitalization offers significant opportunities, such as streamlining administrative workflows, facilitating faster and more accurate data-driven decision-making, and strengthening collaboration between schools, industry, and parents. This directly contributes to the creation of educational governance that is far more adaptive and responsive to workplace needs.Digitalization of vocational school management is not only about utilizing technology for learning, but also encompasses restructuring governance, strengthening information systems, improving the competency of educators, and collaborating with data- and technology-driven industries. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the challenges and opportunities for digitalization of vocational school management in Indonesia through a systematic literature review of research conducted between 2022 and 2025.The study's findings indicate that key challenges include limited digital infrastructure, low digital literacy among education personnel, organizational cultural resistance, curriculum unpreparedness, inadequate sustainable funding, weak policies, and data security issues. However, digitalization offers significant opportunities in the form of administrative efficiency, governance transparency, improved technology-based learning, the establishment of a stronger industry partnership ecosystem, increased graduate employability, and data-driven decision-making. This article concludes that digitalization can only be successful if implemented through a comprehensive transformation strategy: infrastructure readiness, human resource development, robust national policy design, and ongoing evaluation. Recommendations for further research are also presented to enrich the direction of future vocational education transformation.

Abstract

This article discusses the comparative concept of character education from two different perspectives, namely the Islamic perspective represented by the thoughts of Muhammad Natsir and the Western perspective put forward by Jean Piaget. This study aims to examine the fundamental similarities and differences in how the two figures understand and develop character education, while also examining its relevance in responding to the challenges of globalization and formulating a character education model that suits the needs of the modern era. By using the literature review method and a descriptive-comparative approach, this study reveals that Natsir places prophetic character education based on monotheism as the main foundation, which includes the dimensions of transcendence, humanization, and liberation in order to form a human being who is balanced between physical and spiritual aspects. On the other hand, Piaget emphasized the moral development of children through cognitive stages, emphasizing the importance of a socio-moral environment based on mutual respect, as well as a constructivist approach in the formation of moral understanding. The results of the study indicate a point of similarity in the attention to the formation of the whole individual and the role of learning experiences in the educational process. However, fundamental differences are seen in the philosophical basis used, namely the spiritual-religious approach of Natsir and the rational-cognitive approach of Piaget. This study concludes that the integration of these two perspectives has the potential to enrich the development of a holistic character education model that is relevant to the current context, especially in Indonesia, in an effort to shape a generation that is morally and intellectually strong.
