Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of learning motivation on learning outcomes through a jigsaw type cooperative model on Theme 8 at Grade V SD RK Budi Luhur Medan. The research method used was an experimental type of quantitative research. The data were obtained by using data collection tools in the form of documentation, a questionnaire of 25 statements and 33 questions. The research was conducted at grade V SD RK Budi Luhur Medan on 20 to 21 May 2021. The number of samples were 35 students selected by saturated sampling technique. Based on statistical analysis of the data, it was obtained that the results of learning motivation questionnaire with student enthusiasm were 48% in very high category and the results of the pretest were answered by students was an average value of 65.8 in moderate category. Furthermore, the results of the post test scores obtained by students from the answers was an average value of 86.74 with very good category. The results of the correlation analysis of the influence of learning motivation on learning outcomes through Jigsaw Cooperative model obtained a correlation value of rcount = 0.880 with rtable = 0.334. Thus, the value of rcount was higher than the value of rtable, so the correlation was very significant. Hypothesis testing with t-test obtained tcount = 10,618 ttable 1,697. It was concluded that there was a significant influence between learning motivation on learning outcomes through Jigsaw Cooperative Model.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought significant changes to learning systems. Thus, it is highly important to evaluate the implementation of online learning. This study aimed to investigate students’ satisfaction with online learning through End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) proposed by Doll. There were five EUCS indicators utilized to determine the level of satisfaction, namely: content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and punctuality. EUCS instruments were adopted, modified, and tested for the validity of 12 items. This study involved 108 respondents consisting of students from four faculties at IAIN Langsa. Data were collected by using a google form questionnaire. The findings showed that the score for the indicator of the content of online learning was 67% (satisfied) while the score for the indicator of the accuracy of online learning was 54, 54% (quite satisfied). Moreover, the score of the indicator of the form of online learning was 56, 48% (quite satisfied), and the score of the indicator of the convenience of the access of online learning was 78, 79% (satisfied). At last, the score of the indicator of punctuality of online learning was 64, 26% (satisfied). This data showed that the highest score of students’ satisfaction was the convenience of the access of online learning while the lowest score of students’ satisfaction was the indicator of accuracy.

Abstract

This research and development aimed to achieve 2 main objectives: to develop a mind mapping model based on prophetic values in writing exposition texts, and to describe and discuss the profile of mind mapping model based on prophetic values in writing exposition texts. This model was developed by using 4D model (definition, design, development, and dissemination) which was modified to 3DI (definition, design, development, and implementation) . This research was conducted in the academic year 2019/2020 at a high school in Bandung. The instruments of this research were questionnaires and observation sheets that fulfilled the validity and reliability requirements. The initial product was tested on a limited trial in X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Baleendah Bandung. Then, the revised product was tested extensively in 2 classes, namely X IPA-3 and X IPS-5. The last procedure in this research was the dissemination of the final product prototype, which was teaching materials entitled Mind Mapping Based on Porphetic Values: Teaching Materials for Writing Exposition Texts for Grade X SMA/MA. This teaching material consisted of 30 pages, A4, time new roman, 12 automatic spaces outside the start page of 7. Ho was rejected for the paired sample t test because the sig. 0.037 < p = 0.05 for class X IPA-3 and the sig. 0.037 < p = 0.05 for class X IPS-5. Thisproduct was believed to contribute to the process of learning writing exposition texts at high schools. After that, as users, the Indonesian teachers scored in mode 4 for a scale of 1 to 4 for the 4 feasibility indicators. The score mode of 4 also occured in the assessment given by the expert team.
