Abstract

The purpose of this study to synchronize between the potential to planning. The purpose in particular is to calculate and analyze the potential of the hotel and restaurant tax, calculate and analyze the effectiveness of tax collection of hotels and restaurants, and deliver development strategy hotel and restaurant tax in Kotabaru district.This study was designed to approach descriptive analysis to describe and analyze the potential tax revenues of hotels and restaurants in the district of Kotabaru. Survey conducted on 24 hotels and 165 restorant. Data were analyzed using models of computation approach and the potential effectiveness of hotel and restaurant taxes.The results showed that the hotel tax potential per year higher than the average budget hotel tax years 2010 to 2015, or by only 36.46% of the existing potential. Similarly, when compared to the budget 2015, only 47.42% of the existing potential. Potential restaurant tax per year is higher than the average budget restaurant tax from 2010 to 2015, or only 26.49% of the existing potential. Keywords: collection, effectiveness, hotel, restaurant, strategy, tax

Abstract

The aims of this research were 1) to analyze the significant effect of individual characteristics on employees’ performance partially, 2) to analyze the significant effect of job characteristics on employees’ performance partially, 3) to analyze the significant effect of organizational characteristics on employees’ performance partially, 4) to analyze the significant effect of individual characteristics, job characteristics and organizational characteristics on employees’ performance simultaneously.The types of research was causal research. The populations were employees at Polytechnic of Kotabaru with 39 peoples as samples in this research and sampling technique uses saturated sampling technique. The method of data analysis used multiple regression analysis.The results of research showed that 1) individual characteristics have insignificant effect on employees’ performance partially, with the effect was -21,9%, 2) job characteristics have significant effect on employees’ performance partially, with the effect was 38,8%, 3) organizational characteristics have significant effect on employees’ performance partially, with the effect was 43,3%, 4) individual characteristics, job characteristics and organizational characteristics have significant effect on employees’ performance simultaneously, with the simultaneous effect was 35,3%. Keywords:             Individual Characteristics, Job Characteristics, Organizational Characteristics, Employees’ Performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership style (7 items) as an exogenous variable / free, work motivation (3 items) and Employee Performance (3 items) as an endogenous variable / tied to the Vocational School (SMK) Telekomunikasi Sandhy Putra Banjarbaru South Kalimantan.The study uses a quantitative approach with a population of 63 people , taken a sample of 58 people . In this study used a questionnaire to reveal the variables that influence the decision of the respondent . Instruments of each item statement was measured using a Likert scale of measurement that uses an interval scale 1-5. Point 1 to 5 are level scores for each statement . The results of the questionnaire first tested the validity and reliability. Further analysis conducted inferential statistics that aims to test the influence of transformational leadership style variable ( X1 ), work motivation ( X2 ) on the performance of the employee ( Y ) as well as to test the hypotheses that have been formulated in this study . This study used path analysis method to examine the contribution that each pathway is indicated by the coefficient of the path diagram of causal relationships between variables X1, X2 on Y. correlation and regression analysis which is the basis of the calculation of the path coefficients. In the calculations using the tools of SPSS for Windows version 21.The results showed that transformational leadership style variable to variable indirectly affect work motivation, work motivation variables directly influence employee performance variables. transformational leadership style variable to variable indirectly affect employee performance, transformational leadership style independent variable has no direct effect on employee performance through workplace motivation.Keywords: Leadership, motivation and performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study to prove the influence of Competence (X1), Work Discipline (X2), and the Working Environment (X3) on employee performance (Y)Location Research Office Bank Branch in Banjarmasin city in South Kalimantan, that concist from 4 office branch with the size a sample of 48 employees were selected by sampling saturated. Collecting data using questionnaires designed using level Likert scale 1-5. Data analysis using PLS.The test results prove competency significantly influence employee performance Bank branch Banjarmasin in South Kalimantan, with great effect by 66%, Work Discipline not significant effect on Employee Performance Bank branch in South Kalimantan Banjarmasin with great effect by 6.6%, and the Working Environment effect is not significant the Employee performance Bank branch in South Kalimantan Banjarmasin with great influence with the great influence of 11%. Keywords: Competence, Work Discipline and Work Environment and Employee Performance

Abstract

The test results prove that the quality of care as measured by the variable aspects of physical evidence (X1), reliability (X2), responsiveness (X3) and guarantees (X4), which is partially the result of data processing with the use of t-test found that the number t for physical evidence variable (X1) is 2.708, the reliability (X2) is 4.784, responsiveness (X3) of 4.456 and a guarantee (X4) of 5,600 and while the table t of 1.98 or known than the t count> t table it can be concluded that there is a fourth partial effect of these variables on customer satisfaction. For empathy variable (X5) at 0,523 t, while t table when compared to the 1.98 or t <t table it can be concluded that there is no significant effect on satisfaction pelanggan.hal is also the reason why no significant effect of empathy variable partial to customer satisfaction. While simultaneously there is a significant influence on customer satisfaction Regional Water Company Kapuas of 0698 or 6.98% and the remaining 30.2% is influenced by other variables not examinet in this study. Keywords: Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the influence of communication and organizational culture to increase employee performance. Organizational culture contains norms and values beliefs that guide the behavior of employees. Therefore, the company should have to provide a vehicle for employees to internalize the culture so  that they are able to apply them in work.The research  have been conducted at PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Kalimantan Selatan in the area of Banjarmasin. The method used a quantitative approach with a population of some 90 officials who have a Risk Management Certificate, using the survey method obtained sample size of 90 people. Data analysis using statistical techniques and a multiple linear regression to test the significant level using a t test with SPSS.The conclusion of this research is that communication and organizational culture variables have positive and significant impact on employee performance. Organizational cultural variables have the greatest influence to increase employee performance than other variables, with a regression coefficient of 0.437 or 43.7%.

Abstract

The purpse of this research is to find out of the influence of job satisfaction, the motivation and disciplined against the performance of outsourcing employees on PT. Sindy Hutama Karya County of Paser. The Use samples with 100 people respondents. The research is a quantitative analysis of the descriptive statistics and SmartPls technique analysis. The result of reseach done that job satisfaction effect was 69%, the motivation 14% and disipline 19% influntial significantly againts the outsourcing of employee performance PT. Abstract

This study was aimed to discover (1) the influence of simultaneous marketing mix on the sales volume of Okky Jelly Drink in Banjarmasin area. (2) the influence of simultaneous marketing mix on the sales volume of Okky Jelly Drink in Banjarmasin area, and (3) to discover the most dominant marketing mix in increasing the sales volume of Okky Jelly Drink in Banjarmasin area. The analysis method used was multiple regression analysis, F test, t test and determination coefficient (R2). Based on research results, it’s concluded that marketing mix had partial positive influence on the sales volume of Okky Jelly Drink in Banjarmasin area. First, it’s proven that products (X1) influenced the sales volume (Y), Second, it’s proven that price (X2) influenced sales volume (Y), Third, it’s proven that distribution channel mix (X3) influenced sales volume (Y) and, Fourth, it’s proven that promotion mix (X4) influenced sales volume (Y). Analysis also concluded that there was influence of simultaneous marketing mix on the sales volume of Okky Jelly Drink in Banjarmasin area.  Keywords: Marketing Management, Marketing Mix, Sales Volume

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify factors which influence financial performance of the Savings and Loans Unit of Guru Mangkutala Cooperative of Kecamatan Teweh Tengah, Kabupaten Barito Utara towards the productive asset quality, management aspect and unoptimal liquidity aspect that may affect the financial performance.The financial performance of the Savings and Loans Unit of Guru Mangkutala Cooperativeis measured with the financial ratio analysis. Good financial performance can be measured from the analysis result to obtain percentages according to the standard established.The guidelines used in evaluating the financial performance of the Savings and Loans Unit of Guru Mangkutala Cooperativearethe standard of the decision of the State Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Middle-Scale Business number 14/Per/M.KUMKM/XII/2009 concerning the guidelines for evaluating the Savings and Loans Unit of Cooperatives. The aspects analysedare capital adequacy, productive asset quality, management, efficiency, liquidity, independence and growth, and cooperative identity. The analysis result shows that productive asset quality, management and liquidity have not been optimal. The result of the research indicates that the main cause of the unoptimal financial performance in productive asset quality aspect is the high percentage of no performance Loans and there is no allocated reservation for risk fund.  Inmanagement aspect, there is no long-term planning, no reserved fund policy to abolize Non Performance Loans, no policy to control liquidity and the weakness of human resources. Abstract

Employee contribution become important if done effectively and right in implemented. Not only in amount of business but also direction of business. Attitudes, effort or intention to work and several organizations supports means a lot in the success of employee performance.The purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of leadership style and corporate culture toward increase employee performance. Using these variables results , for instance Peter Lok (2004), Rini (2010), Julitriarsa, Djati (2012), Rani Mariam (2009).The study was conducted at Daily Newspaper Barito Post , the sample size is about 113 employee, using the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results show the effect of leadership style toward increase employee performance is positive significant; The effect of corporate culture toward increase employee performance is positive significant; The effect of corporate culture style toward leadership style is positiveThe empiric finding, indicated that to increase employees performance at Daily Newspaper Barito Post need to pay attention to factors that influencing employees performance such as leadership style and organizational culture. Because by given the referable the relation, influence to design strategy utilize improvement of employees performance.Keywords: leadership style, corporate culture, and employee Performance
