Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) abilities of prospective elementary school teachers in the context of science learning. PCK competence is a key factor for preservice teachers in designing and implementing contextual, systematic, and meaningful science instruction. This study is motivated by the importance of synergy between content knowledge and pedagogy in framing science learning that aligns with the characteristics of elementary students, as mandated in the Merdeka Curriculum and national education policies. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires developed based on five core components of PCK. The research subjects were fifth-semester students of the Elementary Teacher Education (PGSD) program at the University of Lampung who were enrolled in a science learning course. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The findings are expected to provide a concrete overview of the PCK mastery level of PGSD students in science learning, which may serve as a basis for curriculum development, training design, and instructional strategies in teacher education. This study also supports the strengthening of preservice teachers’ professionalism in responding to the demands of 21st-century education.

Abstract

Student learning interest in mathematics is still low due to the implementation of monotonous learning models resulting in a lack of use of interactive learning media. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of the use of digital media wordwalls on student learning interest in mathematics learning in grade IV of SDN 10 Siak Kecil. This study used a pre-experimental design method with a "One group pretest-posttest design" research design. The population of this study was all fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 10 Siak Kecil. The fourth-grade sample served as the experimental class. Based on the analysis results in the discussion that showed low student learning interest with the use of wordwall media, this was proven using the Wilcoxon test obtained an average value of positive rank = 18.00 and negative rank = 0.00. Therefore, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. It can be concluded that the use of wordwall media has an effect on student learning interest in mathematics subjects in grade IV of SD Negeri 10 Siak Kecil.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas VI B SDN 67 Pekanbaru. Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di Sekolah Dasar memiliki peranan yang sangat penting bagi pengembangan keterampilan berbahasa baik membaca, menulis, menyimak, dan berbicara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI B dengan jumlah 18 siswa di SDN 67 Pekanbaru. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 butir soal melalui aplikasi Quiziz. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Analisis data meliputi uji normalitas dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal. Uji-t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest. Rata-rata nilai siswa meningkat dari 72,78 menjadi 86,39 setelah penggunaan media berbasis teknologi. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas VI B SD Negeri 67 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study aims to describe inclusive learning strategies for students with special needs in primary schools. The research employed a qualitative approach using field research methods. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 146 Pekanbaru, a school that has implemented inclusive education and accepted students with special needs for several years. The findings indicate that the implementation of inclusive education at SD Negeri 146 Pekanbaru demonstrates a strong commitment to accommodating the learning needs of all students. The strategies applied include the use of adaptive learning methods, the active role of special education teachers (GPK) in supporting classroom learning, and collaboration among teachers, parents, and school administrators. This collaborative approach creates a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters both academic and social development for every student.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive infographic learning media based on the Snappa application for the Introduction to Historical Science material for tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 4 Pagar Alam. The issue addressed is the students' need for more engaging and effective learning media to understand history material. The research method uses the ADDIE development model consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. In the analysis stage, curriculum, material, and student needs analyses were conducted through interviews and Google Forms. The design stage produced an interactive infographic design with an ordered material structure supported by a storyboard. The development stage involved creating the learning media and product validation by material, language, and media experts, with validation results indicating that the media is highly feasible to use (average score 4.42). Implementation was conducted through individual trials, small group trials, and field tests, producing very positive responses with an effectiveness score of 4.65. The effectiveness evaluation using pre-tests and post-tests showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes with an N-gain value of 0.77, categorized as high. This interactive infographic media has proven valid and effective in improving history learning outcomes and student interest. The study recommends using this media as a learning tool in classrooms to enhance understanding of history material.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe various problems faced by students in solving story problems related to SPLTV material, as well as to identify the factors that cause them. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, where the research subjects are three students of grade XI at MA As'adiyah Sei. Nyamuk. The instrument used in this study is a written test in the form of story problems. The results of this test become the basis for data collection. Data analysis is carried out using qualitative methods through the stages of data condensation, analysis, and evaluation. This study aims to improve students' ability to solve contextual problems, especially those related to mathematics. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there are four types of errors made by students in solving SPLTV story problems based on Nolting's Theory. The most dominant types of errors are omission errors and conceptual errors, each amounting to 37.50%. In general, the causes of these errors are a lack of understanding of the mathematical material and a lack of accuracy in solving problems. Solutions that can be done to overcome this problem are to deepen the understanding of mathematical concepts through various trusted learning sources and increase practice in solving story problems.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' difficulty in understanding how to convert mixed fractions into improper fractions, which is a misconception in understanding the concept. This study aims to analyze students' errors in solving fraction problems based on their mathematical understanding and the influencing factors. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The study was conducted at in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through written tests, interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the research results, errors in solving fraction problems are errors in understanding concepts (K1) with a percentage of 40%, calculation errors (K2) contributing only 5% of the total errors, and unidentified answer errors (K3) at 7.5%. This research shows that students' success in solving fraction problems is greatly influenced by conceptual understanding.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using Quizalize on the Arabic learning motivation of 11th grade student at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. The background of this study is based on the low motivation of students in Arabic learning, which is still dominated by lecture methods, even though the school has eduquate technological facilities. This study used a quantitave approach with a quasi-experimental method and a One group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research subjects were 32 students in class XI-4. The instrument used was a learning motivation questionnaire with 20 statements based on five indicators, namely interest, attention, need for success, perseverance, and satisfaction. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics using the Paired Sample t-Test. The results showed that the average score of student learning motivation increased from 70.19 on the pretest to 81.34 on the posttest. The t-test results showed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference between before and after the use of Quizalize media. Thus, it can be concluded that Quizalize media has a positive and significant effect on increasing students' motivation to learn Arabic. This media is suitable as an alternative interactive learning tool to create a more enjoyable and motivating learning atmosphere.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the differences in learning styles among equivalency education learners (Warga Belajar) residing in urban and rural areas at PKBM Al-Ikhram. The background of this study is rooted in the importance of understanding learning styles as a contextual factor that influences learning effectiveness, particularly in equivalency education where participants have highly diverse social backgrounds, ages, motivations, and learning experiences. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that learners in urban areas tend to have visual and reading-writing learning styles, which is influenced by better access to technology and learning media. Conversely, learners in rural areas predominantly use kinesthetic and auditory learning styles, which are closely related to direct experience and verbal social interaction. These differences are also influenced by environmental factors, age, motivation, and the availability of learning facilities. This finding emphasizes the importance for the mentors or tutors in equivalency education to understand and adjust their teaching methods to the learners' styles to ensure the learning process is more effective and meaningful.

Abstract

This study examines the differences in motivation and participation of learners in Community Learning Centers (PKBM) located in rural and urban areas, with case studies of PKBM Laskar Pelangi (village) and PKBM Al-Ikhram (city). Learning motivation in villages tends to be pragmatic and oriented toward functional skills to support family economic well-being, while motivation in cities is more directed toward improving academic qualifications and careers. Participation in rural PKBM is more intense and consistent, although quantitatively lower due to limited facilities and time. Meanwhile, participation in urban PKBM is higher quantitatively but less consistent due to limited time and busy schedules. Key supporting factors include family support, educational facilities, and program relevance, while the main constraints are economic constraints, time constraints, and facilities. This study concludes that PKBM management strategies tailored to local characteristics are necessary to increase the effectiveness of non-formal education programs.
