Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and critical thinking skills in sixth-grade students in the science subject in elementary school. This study used a quantitative research approach with a correlational approach. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 182/I Hutan Lindung during the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. The sample used was a total sampling, with a population of 20 sixth-grade students. The instruments used were an emotional intelligence questionnaire and a critical thinking skills test. The data were analyzed using inferential statistics using normality tests, linearity tests, and Pearson Product Moment correlation tests. The results of the study showed a correlation coefficient of 0.756 between emotional intelligence and students' critical thinking skills, which is greater than the rtable value of 0.444, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. This value indicates a significant relationship, with the relationship being categorized as strong. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination of 0.572 indicates that emotional intelligence contributes 57.20% to students' critical thinking skills. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and critical thinking skills in sixth-grade students in the science subject. Therefore, the development of emotional intelligence needs to be given attention in the learning process to ensure optimal development of students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi kecerdasan buatan (AI) sebagai mitra asesmen dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar dan mengkaji perspektif guru mengenai efektivitas, relevansi, dan tantangannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode studi kasus tunggal di satu sekolah dasar. Data penelitian ini didapatkan melalui wawancara dengan guru yang menggunakan bantuan AI dalam pengembangan dan implementasi asesmen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan dari AI dapat membantu guru menghasilkan suatu instrumen asesmen yang lebih bervariasi, cepat, dan selaras dengan capaian pembelajaran yang ada. Efektivitas implementasi AI sangat bergantung pada kemampuan guru untuk mengelola hasil asesmen AI agar sesuai dengan lingkungan kelas dan karakteristik siswa. Meskipun demikian, guru harus terus memodifikasi hasil asesmen AI untuk menjaga relevansi materi, tingkat kesulitan, dan kewajaran asesmen. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi meliputi terbatasnya literasi digital di kalangan pendidik dan keterampilan teknis dalam merancang prompt yang tepat. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa AI memiliki potensi besar untuk mendukung asesmen di sekolah dasar di bawah kurikulum merdeka jika digunakan secara reflektif dan pedagogis.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers using a moral approach to assist problematic students at SMP Dharma Karya UT. A qualitative case study design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and document analysis of student violations and school programs. The findings reveal that PAI teachers contribute by providing personal guidance, religious habituation, exemplary conduct, and empathetic dialogue. The moral approach was implemented through modeling ethical behavior, counseling, spiritual coaching, and worship routines to strengthen students' character development. A collaborative pattern between PAI teachers and guidance counselors enhances the systematic handling of student issues. Supporting factors include strong teacher–student emotional bonds and a religious school culture, while inhibiting factors relate to limited teacher time, insufficient parental support, and negative peer influences. Overall, the moral approach effectively supports behavioral improvement and moral awareness among problematic students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms, factors, and functions of code-mixing used in the learning process at UPTD SMPN 1 Kapur IX, Lima Puluh Kota Regency. The background of this research is the frequent use of Indonesian mixed with Minangkabau and other languages in classroom interactions, considering that the school is located in an area where the local language is predominantly used in daily communication. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data consisted of utterances produced by teachers and students of class VIII.3 in Indonesian Language, Science, and Civic Education subjects. Data were collected through non-participatory observation, recording, and note-taking techniques, while data validity was ensured through source triangulation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that code-mixing occurred in the forms of words, phrases, and clauses, with phrases and clauses being the most dominant forms. The factors causing code-mixing included speaker factors, interlocutor factors, and habitual factors, with the interlocutor factor being the most dominant due to teachers’ adjustments to students’ linguistic backgrounds. The functions of code-mixing in the learning process included emphasizing certain meanings, expressing personal identity, and building familiarity between teachers and students, with the function of emphasizing meaning as the most dominant. Code-mixing in classroom interaction functions as a communicative strategy to facilitate students’ understanding of learning materials and to create a more interactive learning atmosphere. Abstract

Kurikulum memiliki peran strategis dalam menentukan arah dan keberhasilanpendidikan, khususnya Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang dituntut mampumerespons perkembangan zaman tanpa mengesampingkan nilai-nilai ajaran Islam.Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah bagaimana pengembangan kurikulum PAIdapat disusun berdasarkan hakikat belajar dan teori-teori belajar yang relevandengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsepbelajar, tujuan belajar, serta macam-macam teori belajar dan implikasinya terhadappengembangan kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam. Metode penelitian yangdigunakan adalah studi pustaka (library research) dengan mengumpulkan danmenganalisis berbagai literatur berupa buku, jurnal, dan sumber ilmiah yangberkaitan dengan teori belajar dan kurikulum PAI. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwabelajar merupakan proses perubahan perilaku yang relatif menetap sebagai hasildari pengalaman dan latihan yang mencakup aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor.Tujuan belajar tidak hanya berorientasi pada penguasaan pengetahuan, tetapi jugapada penanaman keterampilan serta pembentukan sikap dan kepribadian pesertadidik. Artikel ini menguraikan teori belajar behavioristik, kognitif, konstruktivisme,dan humanistik yang masing-masing memberikan implikasi dalam pengembangankurikulum PAI. Implikasi tersebut menuntut kurikulum PAI yang menekankankeaktifan peserta didik, pemahaman mendalam, pembentukan akhlak, sertaintegrasi nilai-nilai spiritual Islam dalam kehidupan nyata. Dengan demikian,pengembangan kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam perlu dilakukan secara adaptif,kontekstual, dan integratif agar mampu menghasilkan peserta didik yang beriman,bertakwa, berakhlak mulia, dan siap menghadapi tantangan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS, khususnya pada materi bagaimana bentuk Indonesiaku. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut peneliti menerapkan model pembelajaran Make a Match yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Pre-Experimental desain dengan jenis One-GroupPretest- Posttest Design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V SD Negeri Citepok. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu berupa tes tulis. Sedangkan instrumen penelitiannya yaitu berbentuk soal pretest dan posttest berbentuk pilihan ganda sebanyak 10 butir soal. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji Liliefors dan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa thitung = 55,442 ≥ ttabel = 2,0396 yang berarti thitung lebih kecil dari ttabel, maka Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Make a Match terhadap hasil belajar IPAS pada materi bagaimana bentuk Indonesiaku kelas V SD Negeri Citepok Kecamatan Paseh Kabupaten Sumedang Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024.

Abstract

Scientific research is a fundamental instrument in the development of knowledge that demands objectivity, systematization, and academic accountability. The validity of data and scientific findings depends heavily on the accuracy of the methodology applied by the researcher. This research report aims to examine in depth the urgency of research methods in guaranteeing data validity, especially in the context of contemporary research dynamics in 2019-2025. Using a qualitative approach based on library research, this analysis explores various criteria for qualitative data validity including credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. Findings indicate that techniques such as triangulation, prolonged observation, persistent observation, and audit trails are crucial strategies for minimizing bias and increasing confidence in scientific findings. In addition, this report highlights the role of digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) which bring new challenges to academic integrity and the need for ongoing human oversight. The results of the study emphasize that research methodology is not just a technical tool, but an ethical foundation that ensures that scientific products truly reflect the reality of the phenomenon being studied. Thus, strengthening methodological literacy for novice researchers and enforcing publication ethics are absolute requirements for maintaining academic reputation in the digital era.

Abstract

Elementary education is a crucial stage in shaping students' character, academic abilities, and learning interests. A strong learning interest increases student engagement, focus, and motivation, while low interest can decrease the quality of learning. Technological developments have provided various digital-based learning media, such as interactive videos, educational applications, gamification, and augmented and virtual reality, which can create engaging and character-appropriate learning experiences. This study used a qualitative method with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to examine the influence of technology-based learning media on elementary school students' learning interests. The study results indicate that technology media effectively increase learning interests through immersive, interactive, and contextual learning. Successful implementation is influenced by teacher competence, infrastructure, environmental support, and content relevance. Barriers such as limited access to technology and teachers' digital literacy need to be addressed. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for teachers and researchers in designing more effective and engaging learning strategies for elementary school students.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) bagi siswa autis dan tunagrahita di sekolah luar biasa memerlukan strategi yang adaptif karena perbedaan karakteristik perilaku, kemampuan kognitif, dan stabilitas emosional siswa, yang sering menimbulkan kendala seperti tantrum, perubahan suasana hati, dan keterbatasan fokus belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji karakteristik siswa autis dan tunagrahita, strategi pembelajaran PAI yang diterapkan guru pada materi Aqidah Akhlak, serta kendala dan solusi dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menerapkan strategi pembelajaran individual melalui kombinasi metode ceramah sederhana, demonstrasi, drill, modelling, dan PECS, yang didukung model pembelajaran individual, kooperatif, behavioristik, dan experiential learning, serta penggunaan media visual, konkret, dan digital interaktif. Strategi tersebut membantu siswa memahami nilai Aqidah Akhlak secara lebih konkret, membiasakan ibadah, serta meningkatkan sikap religius, kemandirian, dan kemampuan sosial. Evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan strategi sangat dipengaruhi oleh kepekaan dan fleksibilitas guru. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran PAI disarankan terus dikembangkan secara kreatif, personal, dan berbasis pengalaman langsung sesuai kebutuhan individual siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of deep learning on students' learning outcomes in the theme "Me and My Needs" for Grade IV at SD Negeri 94 Palembang. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely Grade IV A as the experimental class treated with deep learning, and Grade IV B as the control class using conventional learning, each consisting of 20 students. Data were collected through pretests, posttests, observations, and documentation, and then analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and Independent Sample t-Tests. The research results indicate a significant improvement in learning outcomes in the experimental class. The average post-test score of the experimental class was 88.88, higher than the control class at 83.97. The hypothesis test results showed a calculated t-value > table t-value (2.520 > 1.670) with a significance value of 0.014 < 0.05, thus it can be concluded that deep learning has a significant effect on students' learning outcomes. Accordingly, the implementation of deep learning is effective in enhancing conceptual understanding, critical thinking, as well as active student engagement on the theme “Me and My Needs”.
