Abstract

This study is motivated by the low level of students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities. One contributing factor is the use of learning models that do not adequately support the development of students’ learning independence. Therefore, a learning approach is needed that can enhance active engagement and provide opportunities for students to independently direct their learning processes. The Self-Directed Learning model integrated with the Educaplay platform was selected as an alternative, as it is considered capable of creating a varied, interactive, and student-centered learning experience. This study aims to examine the effect of the Educaplay-based Self-Directed Learning model on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of fourth-grade students. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research instrument was an essay test designed to measure mathematical problem-solving ability. The population consisted of all fourth-grade students, while the sample comprised 56 students, including 28 students in the experimental group and 28 students in the control group. Data analysis included the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, Levene’s test for homogeneity of variance, and hypothesis testing using the independent samples t-test. The results indicated that the significance value (2-tailed) was 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Therefore, H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted, leading to the conclusion that the Educaplay-based Self-Directed Learning model has a significant effect on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of fourth-grade students at MIN 2 Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum on the History of Islamic Culture (SKI) subject within the Merdeka Curriculum using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes learning flexibility, character strengthening, and holistic competency development, thus requiring a comprehensive evaluation of its implementation, particularly in PAI learning. This research employed a qualitative approach through literature study and document analysis, including curriculum documents, learning outcomes, and relevant previous studies. Data analysis techniques were carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing based on the CIPP evaluation framework. The results indicate that from the context aspect, the Merdeka Curriculum for SKI material is relevant to students’ needs and national education goals. From the input aspect, the availability of teaching resources and teacher competencies is considered adequate, although limitations in understanding curriculum implementation remain. In terms of process, SKI learning has adopted a more active and contextual approach, yet its implementation has not been fully optimal. Meanwhile, from the product aspect, the curriculum contributes positively to improving students’ understanding of Islamic history and strengthening their religious character. This study is expected to provide evaluative insights and recommendations for the development and improvement of Islamic Religious Education learning, particularly SKI material within the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok have become increasingly integrated into students' daily lives and hold great potential as educational tools, yet their use in schools remains suboptimal and is often perceived merely as entertainment. This study aims to analyze the use of social media in strengthening Pancasila values at SMKN 5 Pekanbaru. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires involving PPKn teachers and students from grades X and XI. The findings indicate that social media enhances students' participation and understanding of Pancasila values, especially when they actively create educational content relevant to their daily experiences. However, several obstacles persist, such as limited infrastructure, low digital literacy among teachers, and the absence of school policies supporting social media as a learning tool. This study concludes that social media has the potential to be an effective medium for character education if supported by appropriate strategies, teacher training, and adequate facilities

Abstract

In the digital era marked by information disruption, hoaxes, cyberbullying, and moral degradation, the Al-Qur'an emerges as a dynamic framework of values for navigating ethics, culture, and law. This qualitative study employs a library research approach with thematic analysis of 25 Qur'anic verses (e.g., QS. Al-Hujurat: 6, 11-12; An-Nur: 27-28), synthesized with contemporary data such as Kominfo reports (2022) on religious hoaxes and APJII surveys (2022) on Muslim digital literacy. Key findings reveal that the Qur'an provides principles like tabayyun as a relevant principle of information verification in addressing the phenomenon of digital disinformation, hifzhul lisan against hate speech, and tawazun for virtual social balance, which may be applied within various contexts of digital religious literacy. Culturally, the Al-Qur'an strengthens moderate identity on social media, while legally supporting cybercrime regulations based on universal justice. The integration of Qur’anic values into digital literacy provides a conceptual foundation for strengthening ethical media practices in digital spaces, with recommendations for interactive tafsir apps and digital ethics education in madrasahs.​ Keywords: Al-Qur'an, digital era, tabayyun, cyber ethics, digital literacy, Islamic law

Abstract

Education is a basic effort planned to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students are able to actively develop their potential in order to have spiritual religious strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble morals, and skills needed by themselves and society. The purpose of this study is to determine and describe the role of teachers in overcoming students' learning difficulties in the PPKn subject of Class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Dua Boccoe. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with subjects consisting of 1 teacher and 3 students of class VIII from different classes. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used through four stages, namely the data collection stage, data reduction stage, data presentation stage, and conclusion stage. The results of this study indicate that there are 5 efforts made by PPKn teachers in overcoming students' learning difficulties, namely teachers create a pleasant learning atmosphere, provide stimulus in the form of questions, provide learning motivation to students, use various learning methods, and use teaching media during the learning process. Abstract

Inclusive education in Indonesia has evolved from mere policy discourse into a complex pedagogical reality, demanding profound transformation in learning management, particularly within Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This study aims to present a comprehensive analysis of inclusive PAI learning management, focusing on three crucial dimensions: the adaptation of religious competence policies, collaboration strategies between PAI Teachers and Special Companion Teachers (GPK), and the development of accommodative religious culture models. Employing a qualitative approach with extended library research methods and meta-synthesis of data from Sinta-accredited journals and national policy documents, this research unveils the dynamics of religious education for students with various impairments (visual, hearing, autism, and intellectual disabilities). The findings indicate that effective inclusive PAI curriculum management is not monolithic but applies a continuum of adaptation ranging from duplication, modification, substitution, to omission, based on Individualized Education Program (IEP) assessments. In the strategic realm, it is found that PAI teachers need to transform from mere textual transmitters into spiritual facilitators utilizing multisensory methods—such as the use of tactile 'control prayer mats' for visually impaired students and visual total communication methods for hearing-impaired students. Furthermore, this study identifies that the greatest barrier to serving the spiritual needs of students with special needs lies not in the students' cognitive limitations, but in the rigidity of school culture and the lack of collaborative competence among educators. Therefore, this research recommends a reorientation of the school's role from merely a provider of physical access to an inclusive spiritual ecosystem, where religious culture is translated not as ritual uniformity, but as a sincere acceptance of the diversity of God's creation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, and Transferring (REACT) learning model on improving mathematical problem-solving abilities in terms of learning motivation. The population in this study were 287 students of grade XI even semester at MA Negeri 1 Kota Serang in the 2024/2025 academic year and the sample consisted of 26 students of grade XI IPA 1 and 26 students of grade XI IPA 3. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The research instruments included a mathematical problem-solving ability test and a learning motivation questionnaire. Data were analyzed using a two-way ANOVA test. The results of the study can be concluded that: 1) there is an influence of the REACT learning model on improving mathematical problem-solving abilities, 2) there is an influence of learning motivation (high, medium, low) on improving mathematical problem-solving abilities after implementing the learning model, and 3) there is an interaction between the REACT learning model and learning motivation on improving mathematical problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Powtoon-based animated video learning media on the topic Living Together with Nature to improve the learning outcomes of third-grade students at SD Negeri Tegalrejo II Yogyakarta. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects were third-grade students, and data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The feasibility of the media was validated by media and material experts, while its practicality and effectiveness were analyzed using teacher and student response questionnaires as well as pretest and posttest results. The findings indicate that the Powtoon-based animated video learning media is highly feasible, with an average validation score of 3.9 from media experts and 3.7 from material experts. Teacher and student responses were categorized as very good, with average scores of 3.5 and 3.75, respectively. Student learning outcomes showed a significant improvement, as the average pretest score of 43 increased to 81.6 in the posttest. The results of the Paired Sample T-Test showed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference in learning outcomes before and after the use of the media. Therefore, Powtoon-based animated video learning media is effective in improving IPAS learning outcomes for third-grade elementary school students. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Salah satu kompetensi penting yang perlu dikembangkan sejak dini adalah literasi digital, yaitu kemampuan siswa dalam mengakses, memahami, mengevaluasi, dan memanfaatkan informasi digital secara bijak. Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis digital menjadi salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mendukung pengembangan literasi digital siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan media Animaker dalam pembelajaran serta menganalisis perannya dalam mengembangkan literasi digital siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru dan siswa sekolah dasar yang terlibat dalam pembelajaran menggunakan media Animaker. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Animaker dapat menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan interaktif, meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, serta membantu siswa dalam memahami dan memanfaatkan teknologi digital secara positif. Media Animaker juga berperan dalam mendukung pengembangan literasi digital siswa, khususnya pada aspek pemahaman dan pemanfaatan konten digital dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, media Animaker dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran digital untuk mendukung pengembangan literasi digital siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penggunaan aplikasi ChatGPT terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran biologi siswa kelas XI di SMAN 27 Bone. Perkembangan pesat kecerdasan buatan menghadirkan peluang sekaligus tantangan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner tertutup yang terdiri atas 20 pernyataan dengan skala Likert lima tingkat, yang diisi oleh 23 siswa yang telah menggunakan ChatGPT sebagai alat bantu belajar. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif melalui tabulasi dan interpretasi distribusi jawaban responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa memberikan persepsi positif terhadap penggunaan ChatGPT, terutama dalam membantu pemahaman konsep biologi, memberikan jawaban yang relevan dan cepat, mempermudah akses informasi, serta meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dalam belajar. ChatGPT juga dinilai efektif sebagai sumber belajar pendukung yang mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Meskipun demikian, ditemukan beberapa keterbatasan, seperti kendala teknis jaringan dan potensi ketergantungan siswa pada jawaban instan. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan ChatGPT berdampak positif terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran biologi apabila diintegrasikan secara tepat dan disertai pendampingan pedagogis untuk mendukung berpikir kritis dan etika akademik.
