Abstract

The emergence of technological innovation provides new things that can strive for ease in life. The topic that is currently trending is inseparable from AI (Artificial Intelligence). A program that has been used in various sectors whose goal is to replace all jobs, such as humans. Represented by thought and intelligence by design connecting information that resembles a human. This research aims to explain the use of AI and students' perception of AI in Indonesian language learning. Using qualitative research methods is phenomenological. The results of this research are 1) Utilization provided through the ease of learning resources, fulfillment of helpful tasks in terms of flexibility, and providing feedback. 2) Students' perception of AI in Indonesian learning is influenced by positive and negative perceptions, influencing factors, the desired attitude of students in its use, and recommendations from related parties. In conclusion, the study of AI is centered on the dimension of world culture that contributes to the advancement of knowledge, but has a diverse impact on the implementation of each actor who uses it.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the Practical Work Program (Praktik Kerja Lapangan/PKL) implementation in the Industrial Mechanical Engineering Skills Concentration at SMKN 8 Kota Serang. The evaluation was conducted because PKL is a strategic component of vocational education, yet its effectiveness needs to be continuously assessed to ensure alignment with industry demands and competency achievement. This research employed a quantitative descriptive approach using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). The participants consisted of 31 twelfth-grade students who completed PKL. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire that had passed validity testing (25 valid items) and reliability testing with Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.909. Data analysis was performed descriptively by calculating mean scores and categorizing the results based on predetermined criteria. The findings indicate that the overall implementation of the PKL program was categorized as Very Good. In the Context aspect, the program objectives were considered relevant to industry needs. The Input aspect showed adequate readiness of students and supporting resources. The Process aspect reflected that PKL implementation and monitoring were generally conducted according to procedures. The Product aspect demonstrated positive contributions to students’ hard skills, soft skills, and work readiness. These results suggest that the PKL program has been effectively implemented and can be maintained with continuous improvement in monitoring to ensure more consistent competency development among students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the integration of philosophical values in Tor-Tor dance as an effort to increase the social awareness of vocational high school (SMK) students using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. Tor-Tor dance, which is part of Batak culture, contains philosophical values that can be applied in the context of character education and students' social life. The research process began with an analysis of the needs and objectives of program development, followed by the design and development of materials, and implementation in extracurricular activities. Data was collected through observation, interviews with teachers and students, and evaluation of the program that had been implemented. The results of the study showed that the integration of philosophical values in Tor-Tor dance can increase students' social awareness, especially in terms of togetherness, respect, and cooperation. This program also contributes to the formation of students' character who are more concerned about their social environment.

Abstract

This study examines the perceptions of Christian Religious Education (CRE) teachers regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the learning process. The rapid development of AI in the field of education has brought significant changes to teaching and learning practices, including in religious education. On the one hand, AI offers various advantages, such as more personalized learning, the provision of interactive learning materials, and greater efficiency in managing teachers’ administrative tasks. On the other hand, CRE teachers face new challenges, particularly related to digital literacy demands, technological readiness, and ethical and spiritual responsibilities in using AI so that it does not conflict with Christian faith values. The purpose of this study is to identify the benefits and challenges of integrating AI into Christian Religious Education, as well as to examine the factors that influence teachers’ perceptions of this technology. This research employs a qualitative method using a literature review approach, in which data are obtained from books, scholarly journal articles, and relevant documents discussing AI in education and Christian Religious Education. The data are analysed thematically to identify patterns of perspectives, opportunities, and challenges. The findings indicate that, in general, CRE teachers hold a fairly positive attitude toward the use of AI, especially because of its potential to support adaptive and engaging learning. However, significant obstacles remain, including limited technological infrastructure, a lack of specialized training for teachers, and concerns about reduced personal relationships and students’ spiritual development. Therefore, it can be concluded that the successful integration of AI in Christian Religious Education largely depends on teacher readiness, technological support, and the wise and ethical use of AI, so that it truly serves as a supportive tool that strengthens students’ faith formation and character development rather than replacing them.

Abstract

Inferential comprehension is a critical component of upper-elementary reading literacy because it requires students to integrate explicit textual information with prior knowledge in order to construct implied meaning. However, classroom reading instruction often remains focused on literal understanding, limiting students’ opportunities to practice drawing inferences, interpreting characters’ motives, and establishing causal coherence across a text. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of dialogic read-aloud in improving fifth-grade students’ inferential comprehension. A classroom-based quasi-experimental design was employed using a pretest–posttest comparison between an experimental group and a control group. The study was conducted with Grade 5 students in two public elementary schools—SDN 006 and SDN 004 Langgini, Bangkinang. The intervention implemented dialogic read-aloud through narrative/children’s literature texts accompanied by open-ended prompts, prediction, clarification, and elaborative feedback, while the control group received conventional reading instruction. The findings indicate that students exposed to dialogic read-aloud demonstrated stronger gains in inferential comprehension than those in the control condition, reflected in improved ability to generate inferences, justify interpretations of characters’ actions, and articulate moral messages in an evidence-based manner. These results suggest that dialogic read-aloud is a promising instructional approach for enhancing higher-order reading literacy and strengthening Indonesian language instruction in upper elementary classrooms.

Abstract

Emotion is a person's reaction to a situation. Emotions can be pleasant feelings such as joy, happiness, love and laughter. A person who has good emotional regulation can behave positively and benefit themselves and others. This study aims to determine the effect of group guidance using role playing techniques on the emotional regulation of students at MTs Al-Washliyah Jati Rejo. The method used in this study is pre-experimental research. The research design uses one group design pretest and posttest, namely the existence of a group that is given treatment preceded (pretest) before treatment and (posttest) after treatment. The population in this study were all class VIII MTs as many as 30 students. The researcher will use 10 students as research samples taken based on the results of the questionnaire that has been given and based on certain criteria. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire. The data obtained are then calculated using statistical assessment. So that the results of the calculated t value are greater than the t table, namely (5.626> 2.262) indicating that the relationship between the two variables is positive. The significance value of 0.00 is smaller than the significance level of 0.05 (0.00 < 0.05), which indicates that the research hypothesis is accepted. Thus, the Role Playing Technique Group Guidance Service on Students' Emotional Regulation is proven.

Abstract

The rapid evolution of digital technology in the contemporary era has compelled business entities to leverage social media as a primary vehicle for marketing communications. Instagram, in particular, has emerged as a highly potent platform due to its inherently visual and interactive nature, making it exceptionally effective at capturing the attention of younger demographics. This current research was undertaken to analyze the specific influence of Instagram content, as a strategic form of promotional communication, on the brand awareness of the local footwear label, AEROSTREET. In terms of methodology, this study adopted a quantitative framework, utilizing a survey-based approach. Primary data was gathered via online questionnaires distributed to 77 active Instagram users. The subsequent data analysis involved both descriptive statistics and the Pearson correlation coefficient test to determine the relationship between variables. The empirical findings reveal that the marketing communication efforts executed through social media content have a positive and statistically significant impact on AEROSTREET’s brand awareness. This is evidenced by a correlation coefficient value of 0.699 and a significance level of 0.000. These results suggest that as the effectiveness of marketing content delivered through Instagram increases, there is a corresponding rise in consumer brand recognition. Consequently, this study serves as a valuable reference for local entrepreneurs in designing more impactful digital marketing strategies. By optimizing visual storytelling and engagement on social media, local brands can strengthen their market presence and foster deeper connections with their target audience in an increasingly competitive digital landscape.

Abstract

A study conducted at SD 2 Jepang focused on improving elementary school students' learning outcomes in Pancasila Education by implementing the Problem- Based Learning model assisted by utagory media. The research aimed to address issues including lack of student interest, low classroom engagement, monotonous lectures, and limited learning media. The research followed a quantitative experimental model, using a one-group pretest posttest design with a sample size of 25 students. Various data collection techniques were employed, such as tests, interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings revealed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, with an average pretest score of 48.2 and an average posttest score of 77. The hypothesis testing confirmed the impact of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by utagory media, as indicated by a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, confirming that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, the study demonstrated that the application of this learning model positively influenced Pancasila Education in the fourth-grade class at SD 2 Jepang.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ early reading skills through the phonics method assisted by puzzle media in Grade I students of UPT SDN 009 Simpang Kubu in the 2024/2025 academic year. The type of research used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study were the students, while the objects of the study were the phonics method assisted by puzzle media and students’ early reading skills. The research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, tests, and documentation. The results showed an increase in the number of students who achieved the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP), as well as an improvement in the class average score and classical mastery. The percentage of classical mastery in Cycle I Meeting I was 61.90%, increased to 76.19% in Cycle I Meeting II, then increased significantly to 90.47% in Cycle II Meeting I, and reached 95.23% in Cycle II Meeting II. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the phonics method assisted by puzzle media can effectively improve the early reading skills of Grade I students at UPT SDN 009 Simpang Kubu.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan elemen krusial dalam dunia pendidikan yang bertujuan membentuk kepribadian siswa dengan nilai-nilai moral, etika, tanggung jawab, dan sikap yang baik. Sekolah dasar berfungsi sebagai lingkungan awal yang sangat berpengaruh dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Melalui proses pendidikan, individu dapat mengembangkan potensi diri, meningkatkan keterampilan membaca, serta membangun kepribadian yang kuat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran guru dalam membentuk karakter siswa dan meningkatkan budaya literasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tinjauan literatur, di mana penulis mengacu pada berbagai sumber dari jurnal ilmiah dan buku yang relevan dengan permasalahan yang dibahas. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter sangat penting diterapkan dalam pendidikan formal, informal, dan non-formal. Salah satu contoh konkritnya adalah budaya literasi yang diajarkan kepada anak-anak sejak usia dini. Melalui pendidikan karakter, diharapkan anak-anak dapat tumbuh menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik.
