Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at the secondary school level still tends to be normative and universal, so it is not fully responsive to the social and cultural context of students. This study aims to examine the implementation of the integration of local wisdom in PAI learning as an effort to strengthen the values ​​of religious moderation. This study departs from the gap between the ideal concept of religious moderation and its learning practices in schools, and positions local wisdom as a medium connecting religious teachings and social harmony in a pluralistic society. The study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at SMAN 7 Jakarta. Data collection was conducted through learning observations, semi-structured interviews with PAI teachers and 12th-grade students, and analysis of supporting documents. Data analysis refers to the interactive model of Miles and Huberman with triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The results show that the integration of local wisdom is carried out contextually through case study methods and discussions, by linking the values ​​in the Mangkeng and Munggahan Ceremonial traditions such as mutual cooperation and togetherness with the principles of religious moderation. This approach encourages students to assess cultural practices proportionally and develop dialogical and respectful attitudes. The research results show that the integration of local wisdom is carried out contextually through case study and discussion methods, by linking values ​​in the Mangkeng and Munggahan Ceremonial traditions, such as mutual cooperation and togetherness, with the principles of religious moderation. This approach encourages students to assess cultural practices proportionally and develop a dialogical and respectful attitude. The research findings indicate an increase in students' appreciation of cultural diversity and a decrease in rigid assessment attitudes. The successful implementation is supported by a conducive school program and teachers' dialogical competence in managing learning.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Tahfizh Al-Qur'an activities in shaping the religious character of students at Miftahul Husna Islamic Boarding School. The research employs a qualitative approach with a field study design, including in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document study to obtain comprehensive data. The data were analyzed inductively through data reduction, narrative presentation, and interpretation to understand the internalization of religious values through Tahfizh. The findings indicate that Tahfizh not only enhances memorization of the text but also serves as a medium for internalizing moral, spiritual, and positive character values such as discipline, responsibility, and sincerity. This suggests that well-structured Tahfizh practices oriented towards developing faith and morals effectively shape students' religious character. In conclusion, Tahfizh functions as a strategic instrument in Islamic education to instill noble character and cultivate students with strong religious character.

Abstract

IPAS learning in the Merdeka Curriculum is designed to promote meaningful, student-centered learning through discovery-based activities. However, the learning process in grade IV of SD Negeri 01 Bandar Buat, Padang City was still dominated by conventional methods, with lesson modules that were not optimally designed and low student participation, resulting in learning outcomes that did not meet the Minimum Learning Achievement Criteria. This study aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes and learning activities through the implementation of the Discovery Learning model. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles involving 28 fourth-grade students. Data were collected through tests and non-test techniques, including learning outcome tests, observations of lesson modules, teacher and student activities, as well as assessments of students’ attitudes and skills. The results showed an improvement in lesson planning quality from 92.86% in Cycle I to 96.43% in Cycle II, teacher activity from 87.50% to 96.88%, and student activity from 81.25% to 96.88%, all categorized as very good. These findings indicate that the Discovery Learning model is effective in improving the quality of IPAS learning processes and learning outcomes in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of volunteers of the SADILA community (Friends of Lampung Disabilities) in the development of social inclusion for children with disabilities.Social inclusion is an effort to create a friendly, fair, and equal environment for people with disabilities to participate fully in social life. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research subjects were determined purposively, namely active, participatory, and passive volunteers of the SADILA community who are directly involved in assistance activities for children with disabilities. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data obtained was analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques which included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The research findings indicate that volunteers of the SADILA community play an important role in the development of social inclusion for children with disabilities through various activities, such as learning assistance, arts and creativity programs, as well as educational and social campaign activities for the wider community. These volunteer roles contribute to building the self-confidence of children with disabilities, enhancing their social skills, and expanding their social interactions with the surrounding environment in promoting social inclusion. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the role of volunteers in the SADILA Community contributes significantly to the development of social inclusion for children with disabilities.

Abstract

Speaking is a fundamental skill in English language learning that requires active, contextual, and student-centered instructional support. However, speaking instruction at the senior high school level often relies heavily on textbooks and teacher-centered methods, which do not adequately accommodate students’ diverse learning styles. This study aims to identify the speaking material needs of eleventh-grade students and to develop a speaking worksheet based on the VAK (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic) learning model at MAN 2 Kota Bengkulu. This research employed a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods. Data were collected through interviews with English teachers, classroom observations, student questionnaires, and document analysis. The needs analysis results revealed that students require interactive, contextual, and varied speaking materials that support visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning preferences. Most students showed a tendency toward kinesthetic and visual learning styles, indicating the need for materials that involve active practice such as role plays, discussions, simulations, and visual aids. Based on these findings, a VAK-based speaking worksheet was developed to provide balanced activities that integrate visual stimuli, auditory interaction, and kinesthetic engagement. The developed worksheet is expected to enhance students’ speaking confidence, fluency, and participation by providing more opportunities for meaningful oral practice. This study contributes to the development of adaptive speaking instructional materials and offers practical implications for English teachers in designing learning resources that accommodate diverse learning styles.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of visionary leadership exercised by the Chairperson of the Sasmita Jaya Foundation in the management of Universitas Pamulang, particularly in terms of visionary leadership characteristics, forms of support and challenges, as well as leadership experiences encompassing feelings, beliefs, and perceptions. This study employs a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving key informants consisting of the Foundation Chairperson, the Rector, and Vice Rectors, as well as supporting informants including senior lecturers, deans, and heads of institutional units. The findings indicate that the leadership of the Foundation Chairperson reflects key characteristics of visionary leadership, including vision formulation through the development of a long-term vision oriented toward upholding educational integrity and the Tridharma of higher education; vision communication through consistent dissemination of the vision to all stakeholders; commitment to vision as reflected in the consistency of strategic policies; collaboration and empowerment through the active involvement of academic members and external partners; strategic responsiveness and innovation in responding to institutional dynamics through programmatic initiatives and digital development; and value-driven leadership grounded in humanistic and religious values. Support for visionary leadership is developed through participatory mechanisms, including the alignment of strategic policies and programs, active engagement of the academic community, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The challenges identified include intergenerational differences as internal challenges and government regulations as external challenges. Furthermore, the findings reveal that the leadership experience of the Foundation Chairperson is characterized by courage, confidence, and high awareness; a strong belief in achieving the institutional vision through an optimistic attitude while upholding educational integrity and humanistic and religious values; and a self-perception as a responsive and innovative leader who acts as a reformer while maintaining continuity with the founder’s values.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students’ standard language skills in terms of phoneme pronunciation, word usage, and sentence construction in scientific presentations of students from the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at Universitas Negeri Makassar. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, note-taking, and recording of students’ utterances during scientific presentation activities. Data analysis was conducted through transcription, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that students’ standard language skills in scientific presentations are generally at a fairly good level, although several inaccuracies are still found. In phoneme pronunciation, errors such as omission, addition, and substitution of phonemes occur due to regional dialect influence. In word usage, students still use foreign loanwords that are not in accordance with standard Indonesian equivalents. In sentence construction, incomplete sentences and inaccuracies in the use of subjects and predicates are identified. Therefore, consistent practice in using standard Indonesian in academic contexts is necessary.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group counseling services using relaxation techniques in reducing mood swings in learning among students of class XI F-2 Boarding School at MAN 1 Surakarta in the 2025/2026 academic year. The study employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design using a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research subjects consisted of 10 students of class XI F-2 Boarding School at MAN 1 Surakarta selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was a mood swings questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon test with the assistance of SPSS version 23.The results showed a decrease in mood swings scores after the implementation of group counseling with relaxation techniques, with a mean pre-test score of 106.3 and a mean post-test score of 91.9. The Wilcoxon test results indicated a significance value of 0.005 < 0.05, thus it can be concluded that group counseling services using relaxation techniques are effective in reducing learning-related mood swings among students of class XI F-2 Boarding School at MAN 1 Surakarta. This study implies that the application of relaxation techniques in group counseling can help students regulate emotions, calm their thoughts, and improve learning concentration.

Abstract

Issues related to the regulation of digital governance from the perspective of the principles of efficiency and effectiveness of governance are very important to discuss because they require appropriate regulations so that the application of digital technology can improve the quality of public services and accelerate bureaucratic processes optimally. The research method used in this study is the normative juridical method, namely by combining the legislative approach and the conceptual approach. In the data collection stage, researchers collected primary legal materials such as laws, secondary legal materials in the form of journals or legal books, and tertiary legal materials such as legal encyclopedias and dictionaries. All collected legal data and information were then analyzed using qualitative analysis methods to gain a deep understanding of the issues studied. The results obtained are that the regulation of digital governance from the perspective of the principles of efficiency of governance is an effort to ensure faster, more transparent and effective administrative processes and public services by utilizing information technology. This also aims to reduce complicated bureaucracy and improve the quality of services to the public and the regulation of digital government administration from the perspective of the principle of effective governance is an effort to ensure that the implementation of information technology in public administration is able to increase transparency, efficiency, and accountability, while providing faster, easier and more targeted public services.
