Abstract

Penelitian ini menelaah pengaruh video animasi sebagai media pembelajaran pada siswa sekolah dasar melalui analisis pustaka terhadap jurnal ilmiah terkait. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengkaji dampak video animasi terhadap perkembangan kognitif, sosial-emosional, kreativitas, dan minat belajar. Hasil analisis menunjukkan potensi positif video animasi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan minat belajar siswa dengan menyederhanakan materi kompleks dan meningkatkan motivasi serta partisipasi aktif. Video animasi terbukti efektif dalam membuat pembelajaran lebih menarik dan mudah dipahami .Namun, penelitian juga mengidentifikasi keterbatasan, yaitu sebagian besar studi yang ditelaah hanya berfokus pada aspek kognitif, mengurangi pemahaman komprehensif terhadap dampaknya pada aspek perkembangan lainnya. Penelitian lebih lanjut dibutuhkan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak jangka panjang video animasi terhadap seluruh aspek perkembangan anak secara menyeluruh dan seimbang. Studi futuristik perlu mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor lain yang dapat memengaruhi efektivitas video animasi sebagai media pembelajaran, serta mempertimbangkan perbedaan individu siswa dalam merespon media pembelajaran ini. Kesimpulannya, meskipun video animasi menjanjikan, penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk memastikan penggunaannya yang efektif dan optimal dalam mendukung perkembangan holistik siswa.

Abstract

Rendahnya daya kreatif siswa sekolah dasar menjadi salah satu tantangan utama dalam proses pembelajaran konvensional sehingga peningkatan hasil belajar siswa tidak maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektifitas implementasi pembelajaran menggunakan media puzzle berbasis teknologi dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dan daya kreatif siswa sekolah dasar. Metode pembelajaran puzzle dipilih karena mampu merangsang kemampuan berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, serta imajinasi siswa secara aktif dan menyenangkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen pretest-posttest. Data kreatifitas siswa diukur menggunakan tes kreatifitas yang telah diuji validasi dan reliabilitasnya, kemudian dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan mean untuk melihat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil pretest-posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada skor kreatif siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan media puzzle. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa pembelajaran puzzle dapat menjadi strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan daya kreatif siswa sekolah dasar. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar guru mengintegrasikan metode pembelajaran ini dalam proses belajar mengajar guna mendukung pengembangan kreatifitas dan potensi siswa secara optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mother-child interaction on the language development of early childhood aged 5–6 years at TK Cerdas Ceria, Tapian Nauli Village. Language development in early childhood is an essential aspect that not only functions as a tool for communication but also influences cognitive, social, and emotional growth. Mother-child interaction, as a two-way communication involving attention, affection, and verbal stimulation, is believed to play a significant role in supporting the optimization of children’s language abilities. The research empl6oyed a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design. The population consisted of 13 children in group B at TK Cerdas Ceria, all of whom were included as the sample using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires distributed to mothers and analyzed through simple linear regression with SPSS 27. The results of the data analysis show that there is an influence of mother-child interaction on the language development of early childhood aged 5-6 years at TK Cerdas Ceria, Tapian Nauli Village, as proven through the following data analysis: 1.Analysis Requirements Test: a. The test for a positive influence yielded an rxy value of 0.754. The calculated r-value was compared with the r-table value (α=0.05; CI=95%; n=13), which is 0.514, resulting in a calculated r-value > r-table value (0.754 > 0.514). Therefore, there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. b. The significance test for the relationship yielded a t-calculated value of 3.810 > t-table value (α=0.05, dk=n-2=13) of 2.201. Thus, there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. 2.Influence Test: a. The regression equation test is Ŷ = 41.033 + 0.135X. b. The Coefficient of Determination test (r²) shows a value of 56.9%. 3.Hypothesis Test: From the hypothesis test results, a calculated F-value > F-table value (14.516 > 4.75) was obtained, so the research hypothesis is accepted. It can be concluded that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of linguistic politeness principles in the utterances of Ganjar Pranowo and Najwa Shihab in the Mata Najwa program broadcast on the YouTube channel. Linguistic politeness is an important aspect of communication that reflects ethics and social norms in interaction. This research focuses on analyzing politeness maxims based on Geoffrey Leech’s theory, which includes the maxim of tact, the maxim of generosity, the maxim of approbation, the maxim of modesty, the maxim of agreement, and the maxim of sympathy. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method with a pragmatic approach. The data sources are the utterances spoken by Ganjar Pranowo and Najwa Shihab in episodes of the Mata Najwa program uploaded on YouTube. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation and note-taking methods, namely by watching the videos, transcribing the conversations, and recording utterances that contain principles of linguistic politeness. Data analysis was conducted by identifying, classifying, and describing the utterances based on politeness maxims, as well as analyzing compliance with and violations of linguistic politeness principles. The results show that the utterances of Ganjar Pranowo and Najwa Shihab reflect all six politeness maxims proposed by Leech. Both speakers tend to comply with politeness principles in communication, although several violations of politeness maxims were also found in certain contexts. Compliance with politeness maxims is demonstrated through the use of polite utterances, respect for interlocutors, and consideration of others’ feelings. Meanwhile, violations of politeness maxims occur in specific situations influenced by the conversational context, communication goals, and discourse strategies used in the talk show.

Abstract

Cooperation ability is an important aspect of social development in early childhood that needs to be stimulated through appropriate learning activities. However, learning activities in kindergarten are still dominated by individual tasks and teacher-centered approaches. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of group-based ecoprint activities on children's cooperation ability at Taman Kanak-kanak Yayasan Amalan. This research used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a pretest–posttest control group design. The research subjects consisted of 16 children divided into an experimental group and a control group. The instrument used was an observation sheet of children’s cooperation ability. Data were analyzed using the Mann–Whitney test and effect size calculation. The results showed a significant difference in cooperation ability between the experimental and control groups with a significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05). The effect size calculation resulted in r = 0.847, which indicates a high effect category. Therefore, group-based ecoprint activities are effective in improving cooperation ability in early childhood.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has created new opportunities for innovation in educational assessment, particularly in mathematics learning at the elementary school level, which requires accurate identification of students’ prior knowledge. This study aims to analyze the needs and urgency of integrating ChatGPT and Python in the development of diagnostic assessments for elementary school mathematics learning. The study employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional survey design. The research subjects were elementary school teachers in Kranggan District, Temanggung Regency, selected through incidental sampling. The research instrument was a needs analysis questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The results indicate that the average response percentage reached 83%, which falls into the “strongly agree” category, demonstrating a high level of teachers’ need for diagnostic assessments based on the integration of ChatGPT and Python. These findings confirm that the utilization of artificial intelligence and programming technologies has the potential to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy of diagnostic assessments in elementary school mathematics learning. This study provides an initial contribution to the development of technology-based diagnostic assessments as an innovative solution aligned with the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum and 21st-century learning.

Abstract

ABSTRACT There are many methods and techniques that can be used to implement a joyful learning approach in effective learning of reading, writing, and arithmetic (calistung). The concept of joyful learning is very suitable for preschool students because the enjoyable learning concept can engage and capture students' attention, as some of the methods used involve the concept of play, which is essentially a learning concept suitable for early childhood, that is, learning through play. The purpose of this research is to understand the Joyful Learning approach in introducing reading, writing, and arithmetic skills to preschool students. The method used is Systematic Literature review by tracing previous research related to the research topic. The results indicate that several methods/strategies that can be used in the joyful learning approach include the methods or techniques and media used, which are able to support children to be actively involved in the learning process, attract children's attention, and make children more focused during the reading, writing, and arithmetic learning process. In addition, the lack of media and teacher competence becomes a challenge in applying the joyful learning approach in reading, writing, and arithmetic learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare labor market policies in Indonesia and Australia in their efforts to reduce unemployment. Unemployment is understood as a structural issue influenced by labor market conditions, the quality of human resources, and the institutional capacity of the state. This research employs a qualitative method with a comparative public policy approach. Data are collected through a literature review and document analysis of regulations, official government reports, and relevant academic publications related to labor policies in both countries. The analysis is conducted using a descriptive-comparative method by examining labor market policies, vocational training systems, labor market information systems, and social protection measures. The findings indicate that Australia has more effective and adaptive labor policies, supported by strong institutional capacity, an integrated labor market data system, and active labor market policies that are responsive to economic changes. In contrast, Indonesia continues to face significant challenges, including the dominance of the informal sector, skills mismatches within the workforce, and weak coordination and implementation of labor policies. The study concludes that strengthening cross-sectoral collaboration, developing a comprehensive labor market information system, and expanding active labor market policies are key strategies to improving the effectiveness of labor policies in Indonesia.

Abstract

At Pembina Barat State Kindergarten, the fine motor skills of early childhood students appear to still be developing toward their full potential, as evidenced by difficulties they experience when cutting, pasting, gripping, and crumpling paper. This situation forms the foundation of a study aimed at examining how effective collage activities using recycled paper are in stimulating the fine motor development of 5–6-year-old children at the institution. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, followed by data analysis including normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing to ensure the scientific validity of the findings. Results indicated that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous, allowing the hypothesis tests to be applied appropriately. The experimental class recorded a score increase of 61, far exceeding the control class, which only reached 33. These findings confirm that collages made from recycled paper have a significant positive impact on children’s fine motor development. This creative activity not only trains precision and finger coordination but also synchronizes the movements of the right and left hands, strengthens the control of small muscles in an integrated manner, and creates a dynamic, interactive, and enjoyable learning experience for the children at Pembina Barat State Kindergarten in Payakumbuh City. Keywords: Early Childhood, Fine Motor Skills, Recycled Paper Collage ABSTRAK Di Taman Kanak-Kanak Negeri Pembina Barat, kemampuan motorik halus anak-anak usia dini tampak masih dalam tahap transisi menuju optimalisasi, terbaca dari kesulitan mereka saat menggunting, menempel, meremas, dan menggenggam kertas. Situasi ini menjadi titik pijak penelitian untuk menelaah seberapa efektif praktik kolase berbahan kertas bekas dalam merangsang perkembangan motorik halus anak usia 5–6 tahun di institusi tersebut. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan eksperimen semu, diikuti analisis data yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis untuk menjamin validitas ilmiah temuan. Hasil menunjukkan distribusi data yang normal dan homogen, sehingga penerapan uji hipotesis dilakukan secara sahih. Kelas eksperimen mencatat peningkatan skor mencapai 61, jauh melampaui kelas kontrol yang hanya meraih 33. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kolase berbahan kertas bekas memberikan kontribusi positif yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan motorik halus anak. Kegiatan kreatif ini tidak semata-mata melatih ketelitian dan koordinasi jari, tetapi juga menyinkronkan gerak tangan kanan dan kiri, memperkuat kontrol otot kecil secara terpadu, serta membangun pengalaman belajar yang dinamis, interaktif, dan menyenangkan bagi anak-anak di Taman Kanak-Kanak Negeri Pembina Barat, Kota Payakumbuh. Abstract

This article aims to examine the implementation of communal cooperation (gotong royong) and social care values in the Libotan tradition of Pemaron Village, Brebes Regency, Central Java. Using a literature review method, this study synthesizes previous research findings concerning communal cooperation, social care, and local traditions in Indonesian rural societies. The review reveals that local traditions like Libotan function as social frameworks where the values of cooperation and social solidarity are manifested through collective labor, mutual assistance, and community participation. However, modernization and socio‐economic transformation pose challenges to the sustainability of these values. The article proposes a conceptual framework and field research instruments to empirically analyze these dynamics in Pemaron. The findings contribute to the academic discourse on sustaining local wisdom and social cohesion in Indonesian rural communities.
