Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of interest and love among young people forthe moral values contained in the Parno Adat tradition in Kampung Dalam Village,which has led to a degradation of local wisdom values that should be passed downfrom generation to generation. This study aims to identify and analyze the moralvalues in the Parno Adat tradition. The researcher uses a qualitative descriptiveresearch method with research subjects consisting of young people, customaryleaders, village heads, and the community. The researcher employs data collectiontechniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The researchresults describe that there are three important moral values, namely the moral valueof the relationship between humans and God, the relationship between humans andothers, and the relationship between humans and themselves, which is inseparablefrom social life in the community.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in the improvement of conceptual understanding abilities in the subject of Natural Sciences between classes that apply the Station Rotation type Blended Learning model and classes that apply the Direct Instruction model. This study is motivated by the low conceptual understanding of fourth grade students in the subject of Natural Sciences at UPI Laboratory Elementary School Cibiru, among others, students often experience difficulties in interpreting the concept of Natural Sciences, the application of models and methods that are less varied so that students have less endurance of learning focus, and less attention to differences in student characteristics. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Quasi-Experimental method of the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design type. The population of this study is the fourth grade of UPI Laboratory Elementary School Cibiru, while the sample of this study is the students of class IV E as many as 22 students as the control class and class IV F as many as 23 students as the experimental class. The data collection techniques are documentation, tests, and observations. Data analysis techniques with descriptive analysis consisting of analysis of test and non-test results and analysis of prerequisite tests namely normality tests and homogeneity tests, inferential analysis namely hypothesis tests, and N-Gain tests. Data analysis was carried out with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics 26 software. The results of the independent t-test N-Gain showed a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05. The average N-Gain value of the control class was 0.39 with the "moderate" category and the experimental class was 0.65 with the "moderate" category. Thus, H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected, which stated that there was a difference in increasing conceptual understanding in the science subject between classes applying the Station Rotation type Blended Learning model and the Direct Instruction model.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of an accelerated program for reading classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning) using the Nubdzatul Bayan method among Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students and to analyze its level of effectiveness. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design conducted at MI Darullughah Wal Karomah, Kraksaan, Probolinggo. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the head of the madrasa, curriculum coordinator, teachers, and students. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of the accelerated program consists of three main stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. In the planning stage, the program is systematically designed by considering students’ readiness and teachers’ competencies. During the implementation stage, learning activities include memorizing nadzom (rhythmic texts), repetition of materials, and the use of musical approaches that enhance students’ motivation and engagement. In the evaluation stage, written tests, oral tests, and level progression systems are used to measure students’ mastery continuously. The study indicates that the program is relatively effective in improving students’ ability to read classical Islamic texts and enhancing their learning motivation. However, the effectiveness is not evenly distributed among all students. Differences in students’ abilities and limited instructional time are identified as the main challenges. Therefore, further development of the program is needed, particularly in adopting adaptive teaching strategies and improving time management to achieve more optimal and equitable learning outcomes.

Abstract

Produk yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti dapat dikatakan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran setelah melakukan uji coba yang disesuaikan dengan tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini, yaitu ensiklopedia bola besar yang valid, efektif, dan menarik untuk kelas V. Tingkat kevalidan ensiklopedia bola besar diperoleh melalui penilaian dari tiga validator, yaitu ahli materi, ahli desain produk, dan ahli desain pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, ensiklopedia bola besar termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk siswa kelas V. Tingkat keefektifan ensiklopedia bola besar dianalisis berdasarkan data lembar tes hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif, lembar observasi aktivitas guru, dan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa. Hasil tes belajar siswa ranah kognitif menunjukkan persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebesar 100%. Hasil observasi aktivitas guru menunjukkan persentase 100% pada pertemuan pertama, kedua, dan ketiga. Sementara itu, hasil observasi aktivitas siswa menunjukkan presentase sebesar 96,9% pada pertemuan pertama, 99% pada pertemuan kedua, dan 100% pada pertemuan terakhir. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, karena ketuntasan belajar klasikal melebihi 85% dan presentase observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa masing-masing melebihi 50%, maka ensiklopedia bola besar dinyatakan efektif untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran kelas V. Tingkat kemenarikan ensiklopedia bola besar dianalisis melalui hasil angket respon siswa dan guru yang diisi pada saat uji coba skala besar. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, angket respon siswa menunjukkan presentase sebesar 99%, sedangkan angket respon guru mencapai 100%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of developing the independence of elementary school students as a provision in facing the challenges of life in the future. Through the entrepreneurship theme in the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project, students are expected to gain real learning experiences that can train and develop various aspects of independence. The research was conducted at SDN 006 Rambah, Rambah District, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The research subjects numbered 63 people, consisting of 1 principal, 2 class teachers (grades II and IV), 30 students (15 grade II and 15 grade IV students), and 30 parents of students. The selection of subjects was carried out using a purposive sampling technique, with the consideration that the subjects were directly involved in the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project on the theme of entrepreneurship and had information relevant to the research objectives. Data collection techniques used in this study included in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project on the theme of entrepreneurship at SDN 006 Rambah was implemented in a planned and systematic manner through the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the suboptimal development of discipline and responsibility among students of the Computer and Network Engineering Department at SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung, despite the implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in Islamic Religious Education. The research aimed to analyze the planning, implementation, character-building process, and supporting and inhibiting factors of CTL in enhancing students’ discipline and responsibility. This study employed a qualitative field research approach conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung, involving Islamic Religious Education teachers and Computer and Network Engineering students as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. Data validity was ensured through source, technique, and time triangulation. The findings revealed that CTL-based Islamic Religious Education learning was systematically planned by connecting learning materials with students’ real-life experiences. The implementation of CTL was carried out through eight major characteristics, namely making meaningful connections, doing significant work, self-regulated learning, collaborating, critical and creative thinking, nurturing the individual, reaching high standards, and using authentic assessment. The process of character formation followed Thomas Lickona’s theory through moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action stages. The successful implementation of CTL was supported by teachers’ understanding and role modeling, contextual learning materials, students’ enthusiasm, and adequate school facilities, while the inhibiting factors included passive student behavior, limited instructional time, external environmental influences, and unconducive classroom conditions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on the communication skills of fifth-grade elementary students in Science and Social Studies (IPAS). Utilizing a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group, the study involved 60 students divided into experimental and control groups. Data were collected through tests, questionnaires, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using a t-test following normality and homogeneity checks. The results showed that the experimental group achieved a higher average communication score (76.57) compared to the control group (68.10). Hypothesis testing yielded a significance value of 0,000 < 0,05, confirming that PjBLsignificantly impacts students' communication skills. By fostering active participation through discussion, teamwork, and presentations, the PjBL model proves to be an effective instructional alternative for enhancing communication skills in elementary education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of e-learning learning media and lecturer creativity on students’ learning motivation and learning outcomes of students in the Office Administration Education Study Program, Class of 2021, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Medan. This research used a quantitative approach with an ex post facto method. The population consisted of 89 student an all were seleted as research samples using the total sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires with a Likert scala that had been tested for validity an realibilty. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS software. The results showed that partially E-Learning learning media had a positive and significant effect on learning motivation with t value 5,200 > t table 1,988 and significance 0,000 < 0,05, while lecturer creativity also had a positive ang significant effect on learning motivation with t value 8,019 > t table 1,988. Furthermore, E-Learning learning media had positive and significat effect on learning outcomes with t value 6,098 t table 1,988, and lecturer creativity had positive and significant effect on learning outcomes with t value 5,474. T table 1,988. Simultaneously, E-Learning learning media and lecturer creativity significantly influenced learning motivation with F value 97,870 > F table 3,10, and learning outcomes with F value 21,834 > F table 3,10. The coefficient of determinaton indicated that the independent variables contributed 69,5% to learning motivation and 40,7% to learning outcomes. It can be concluded that E-Learning learning media and lecturer creativity have a positive and significant influence on student’s learning motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study was prompted by the high unemployment rate among vocational high school (SMK) graduates in Indonesia, which exceeds 8%. This is due to a mismatch between their skills and the industry's needs. This highlights the urgent need to strengthen 'link and match' policies to bridge the gap between the education sector and the workforce. This study aims to identify and analyse the impact of link-and-match models on labour market indicators, and to examine the factors that support or hinder their implementation in SMKs in Indonesia. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted using the PSALSAR framework (Protocol, Search, Appraisal, Literature Synthesis, Analysis, Synthesis, and Report). The results suggest that implementing the link-and-match model through curriculum alignment, industry partnerships, and practice-based learning could reduce competency gaps. However, the effectiveness of this approach is hindered by limited facilities, insufficient human resource readiness, and weak sectoral collaboration. This study makes a theoretical contribution to the development of a holistic vocational education model and serves as a policy reference for the government in its vocational high school revitalisation programme. Strong synergy between schools and industry is key to enhancing competitiveness and graduate employability in the labour market.

Abstract

Human resource development is a strategic factor in increasing workforce competitiveness in the era of globalization. However, economic constraints remain a barrier to access to higher education. Therefore, the government introduced the Indonesia Smart College Card (KIP-K) program to provide financial support for students from low-income families. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the KIP-K program as a human resource investment in improving the quality of the future workforce. The method used was a quantitative approach using a survey questionnaire distributed to 30 KIP-K recipient students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Semarang (FEB UNNES), which was analyzed descriptively. The results indicate that the KIP-K program contributes to improving educational access, learning motivation, and the development of student skills and engagement, although inequalities in its utilization remain. This research is expected to serve as an evaluation tool for the government and educational institutions in optimizing the program and as a reference for further research related to human resource development.
