Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of a reward program in enhancing distributor loyalty at the Sumbar Sales Unit of PT Semen Padang, the oldest cement producer in Indonesia with an extensive distribution network in West Sumatra. The research focuses on the design, implementation mechanisms, types of rewards provided, and their impact on distributor motivation and loyalty in supporting the company’s marketing efforts. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation studies of distribution activities and promotional programs carried out by the company. The findings indicate that the implementation of the reward program is conducted systematically through clear achievement criteria, diverse forms of rewards such as cash bonuses, price discounts, travel incentives, and religious programs like Umrah, as well as transparent evaluation periods. The application of rewards has proven effective in enhancing distributor motivation, strengthening cooperation satisfaction, and encouraging long-term commitment in distributing the company’s products. However, the study also identifies challenges, including intense competition with other cement producers and the need to adjust reward schemes in line with market conditions to remain relevant and attractive. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the reward program functions not only as a form of appreciation for distributor achievements but also as an effective retention strategy to strengthen loyalty, ensure sustainable distribution, and enhance the competitiveness of PT Semen Padang in the national cement industry.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model to improve student activity and learning outcomes in the PPL program at SMAN 17 Merangin. This study used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 30 11th-grade students. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, documentation, and learning outcome tests. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The results showed an increase in student learning activity, from moderately active in cycle I to very active in cycle II. The average student learning outcome score also increased from 70.3 in cycle I to 84.1 in cycle II, with classical mastery reaching 90%. Thus, the application of the Problem-Based Learning model has been proven to improve student activity and learning outcomes in the PPL program at SMAN 17 Merangin.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategies implemented by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in instilling the values ​​of religious tolerance and to assess their effectiveness in students at Makassar City's National Elementary School. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that PAI teachers' strategies in instilling the values ​​of religious tolerance include integrating tolerance values ​​into learning materials, providing role models, cultivating tolerance in daily life, and utilizing active learning methods such as discussions and group work. These strategies have proven effective in instilling the values ​​of religious tolerance in students, demonstrated through mutual respect, appreciating differences, and creating harmonious interactions within the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze risk-based school governance in improving the quality of education at SMPS Nurul Yaqin, located in Nogosari Village, Rambipuji District, Jember Regency. The study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of the principal and teachers. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that school governance at SMPS Nurul Yaqin has implemented several principles of good governance, including participation, transparency, communication, accountability, and supervision. Decision-making processes are carried out collaboratively through meetings involving teachers, educational staff, and the foundation management. In addition, the school has implemented learning supervision and routine evaluations as forms of internal control. The school also develops educational quality improvement programs through workshops, teacher training, digital learning, and the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL). However, several risks affecting educational quality were still identified, including limited facilities and infrastructure, low competency of some teachers, variations in students’ abilities, and inadequate discipline among educational staff. This study concludes that risk-based school governance at SMPS Nurul Yaqin has been implemented fairly well in supporting educational quality improvement. Nevertheless, strengthening internal control systems, improving teacher competency, and enhancing staff discipline are still necessary to achieve sustainable educational quality improvement. The findings of this study are expected to serve as evaluation material for schools in strengthening governance systems and educational risk management.

Abstract

Kementerian Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak Republik Indonesia reported a 15% increase from 4,000 cases of sexual violence against children in 2022. This study aims to develop and determine tool in educating children aged 7–8 years about sexual abuse and violence. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The results indicate that the SAM.Kids application is valid, practical, and effective in improving children's knowledge and preventive behaviors regarding sexual harassment and violence.

Abstract

Learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is not only about understanding the material but also about shaping students' character. However, in practice, PAI learning still prioritizes cognitive aspects. Therefore, strategies are needed to ensure these values ​​are truly applied in everyday life. This article aims to analyze how to implement habituation, role modeling, and positive reinforcement in the PAI learning process. The method used is a literature review with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results indicate that habituation is carried out through regular daily activities, role modeling demonstrated by teachers' attitudes and actions, and positive reinforcement provided by appreciating students' good deeds. These three strategies have proven to complement each other in shaping students' religious character.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of ATM (Observe, Imitate, Modify) learning strategies in improving the learning outcomes of writing news texts for grade VII students at SMP Negeri 11 Tarakan. The research used a qualitative descriptive method with data sources in the form of Indonesian language teachers and grade VII students. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation of student writings. The ATM strategy is implemented through three stages, namely observing news text examples, imitating the structure and pattern of writing, and modifying the writing according to students' ideas and creativity. The results of the study show that the ATM strategy is able to help students understand the structure, elements, and linguistic rules of news texts more easily and gradually. The use of learning media in the form of printouts also supports students in developing ideas and compiling writing systematically. In addition, teachers play an active role in creating a comfortable learning atmosphere, providing motivation, and guiding students during the learning process. The learning outcomes of students showed that most of them had reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) with scores in the good category. However, there are still obstacles in the form of students' dependence on the examples given. Therefore, it is necessary to develop more varied learning strategies so that students' creativity and independent thinking skills can increase optimally. Abstract

Improving the quality of education needs schools to create plans that can change and grow as things inside and outside the school change. This study aims to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) in the development of SMP Negeri 6 Samarinda and to formulate appropriate school development strategies to improve educational quality. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach with SWOT analysis. The data collection process differs because it emphasizes that individual rights must be aligned with the principles of Pancasila. The data were gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation involving school principals, teachers, education staff, and school documents. The results showed that SMP Negeri 6 Samarinda has several strengths, such as experienced teachers, good learning facilities, and a supportive school environment. However, weaknesses were identified in the utilization of educational technology, disparities in students’ abilities, and limited infrastructure and budget. Opportunities include government support programs, technological advancements, and institutional partnerships, while threats consist of school competition, social media influence, economic conditions of parents, and dynamic educational policies. Based on the SWOT analysis, the school's development strategy should focus on making the most of its strengths and opportunities, while also working to reduce its weaknesses and threats. This can be done by improving the skills and knowledge of teachers, making the most of digital learning tools, focusing on teaching character education, and building better connections with all the people involved, like parents and the community. The study concludes that SWOT analysis offers a comprehensive foundation for strategic school development and sustainable improvement of educational quality. Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) in enhancing event service sales at Harian Bisnis Indonesia Representative Pekanbaru. It aims to analyze how IMC is applied not only as a coordination mechanism of promotional tools but also as a relational and strategic communication system that supports long-term relationships with event sponsors. A qualitative method was used through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation to explore the integration of advertising, public relations, sales promotion, and personal selling in marketing communication practices The findings show that IMC operates as a multilevel communication system. Advertising functions as the initial stage in building awareness and cognitive positioning of audiences. Public relations strengthens credibility through media legitimacy and third-party endorsement. Sales promotion accelerates perceived value through bundled offerings and integrated marketing solutions, while personal selling serves as the main interpersonal channel that enables negotiation, trust-building, and co-creation of value between the organization and sponsors.The study also finds that IMC implementation is not linear but cyclical and adaptive, where each communication touchpoint contributes to continuous relationship building and value creation. In addition, the integration of the marketing mix 7P demonstrates that IMC is operationalized across product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence, reflecting a holistic communication system in the service industry. In conclusion, IMC at Bisnis Indonesia Pekanbaru functions as a relational communication system that goes beyond promotional effectiveness to foster trust, commitment, and sustainable partnerships with stakeholders. This study contributes to IMC literature by highlighting its shift from a transactional promotional framework to a strategic system of value and relationship creation

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of initial reading content differentiation in Indonesian language learning for slow learners in grade I of elementary school. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through direct observation, in-depth interviews with class teachers, and documentation of learning tools. The results of the study indicate that content differentiation is implemented through five interrelated aspects: initial assessment based on picture letter cards during the MPLS period, simplification of content from sentences to single words with a CV-CVC pattern to reduce cognitive load, the use of picture flashcards as a visual cognitive bridge, intensive mentoring (scaffolding) strengthened by parent collaboration in the classroom, and a qualitative assessment system based on individual progress (self-referenced assessment). Although these strategies have proven to be theoretically and practically relevant, this study also identified limitations in the form of the absence of regular assessments, gradual plans to higher levels, and structured documentation of progress. This study concludes that the effectiveness of content differentiation is determined by the cohesive integration of assessments, materials, media, mentoring, and assessments that are responsive to the individual needs of slow learners.
