Abstract

The curriculum change from the 2013 Curriculum to the Independent Curriculum is one of the government's efforts to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. This study aims to assess these changes in the learning practices of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) at SMA Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi. This curriculum change impacts the role of teachers, learning strategies, and student engagement in the learning process. This study used a qualitative approach with the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of PPKn teachers, the vice principal for curriculum, and students. Data analysis was conducted descriptively qualitatively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that, from a contextual perspective, the implementation of the Independent Curriculum is in line with the needs of 21st-century learning. From an input perspective, teacher readiness and facilities still need to be improved. In terms of process, learning has become more flexible and student-focused, although there are still problems in developing open modules. Meanwhile, in terms of product, there has been an increase in student participation and critical thinking skills. Thus, the curriculum changes have a positive impact on PPKn learning, but there is still a need for improvement in its implementation.

Abstract

The problem addressed in this study is the low level of motivation among pupils in learning mathematics. Pupils still regard mathematics as a difficult subject and therefore lack enthusiasm for participating in lessons. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of learning media on the motivation of Year 4 pupils to learn mathematics. This study employs a quantitative approach in the form of a quasi-experimental design. The population in this study comprises all Year 4 pupils at SDIT Annawawi Metro. The research sample consists of Year 4 Class Roudhoh as the experimental class, comprising 26 pupils, and Year 4 Class Nabawi as the control class, comprising 21 pupils. The sampling technique employed non-probability sampling using the purposive sampling method. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires and observation, and was subsequently analysed using simple linear regression. The hypothesis of this study was that there is an effect of the use of Augmented Reality (AR) media on the mathematics learning motivation of Year 4 pupils at SDIT Annawawi Metro, based on the results of the simple linear regression test; therefore, the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) was accepted. Based on the analysis results, an Adjusted R-Square value of 0.484 or 48% was obtained, meaning that the variable of Augmented Reality (AR) media implementation was able to explain 48% of the variation in learning motivation, whilst 52% was influenced by other variables outside the scope of the study

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning (PBL) on students’ mathematical problem-solving ability and self-efficacy through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The study followed the PRISMA guidelines and collected articles from Google Scholar, Portal Garuda, and DOAJ published between 2018 and 2026. A total of 11 primary studies that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed descriptively. The findings indicate that PBL consistently has a positive and significant effect on students’ mathematical problem-solving ability and improves students’ self-efficacy. In addition, both variables were found to be interrelated in supporting successful mathematics learning. These results suggest that PBL is effective in simultaneously developing students’ cognitive and affective aspects. However, this study is limited by the relatively small number of studies and the dominance of quantitative approaches.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment on employee performance at PT Semen Padang, Logistics Distribution Unit. The work environment is considered a crucial factor affecting employee effectiveness and productivity, both through physical aspects such as facilities and workplace comfort, as well as non-physical aspects including interpersonal relationships, leadership, and organizational climate. The research employed a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires distributed to employees within the unit. The collected data were analyzed using simple linear regression to examine the relationship and impact of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The findings reveal that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, indicating that better workplace conditions contribute to higher levels of performance. These results highlight the importance of sustainable management of the work environment, both physically and psychologically, in order to enhance productivity and achieve operational targets.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning interest of fifth-grade students in mathematics learning at SDN 3 Dunguswiru. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a purposive sampling technique. The subjects of this study were 29 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through a questionnaire instrument consisting of 19 valid items after validity and reliability testing using SPSS, with a Cronbach Alpha value of 0.884 (very high reliability). The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistics with percentages. The results showed that 79% of students (23 students) were in the high interest category, 21% (6 students) were in the moderate interest category, and no students were in the low interest category. However, a finding also emerged that 79% of students experienced high levels of anxiety in mathematics learning. These findings indicate that although students generally show high enthusiasm and interest in mathematics, high anxiety levels still need to be addressed through varied, supportive, and student-centered learning strategies. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of contextual learning in promoting deep learning and strengthening moderate values among elementary school students using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The study is motivated by the need to enhance students' character development in the context of social diversity, as well as the persistence of surface learning practices in primary education. Data were collected by reviewing relevant scientific articles from reputable databases using keywords such as "contextual learning," "deep learning," and "moderate values." From an initial search of 45 articles, 15 articles were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The findings indicate that contextual learning plays a significant role in encouraging deep learning by connecting learning materials with students' real-life experiences, fostering critical thinking, reflection, and meaningful understanding. Furthermore, contextual-based deep learning contributes to strengthening moderate values such as tolerance, respect for diversity, cooperation, and inclusiveness. The effectiveness of this approach is influenced by factors such as teacher competence, learning strategies, and classroom environment. However, challenges remain, including limited teacher understanding of deep learning concepts and constraints in learning resources. In conclusion, contextual learning integrated with deep learning is an effective strategy to enhance both cognitive and character development, particularly in strengthening moderate values among elementary school students.

Abstract

Low student learning interest has become a fundamental challenge at SDN Bunder IV, where approximately 77.42% of 31 students in Grade IV A appeared passive due to the predominance of non-varied lecture-based methods. This study aims to improve fourth-grade students' learning interest in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) through the implementation of Wordwall interactive learning media. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design using the Kemmis & McTaggart model, conducted across two cycles comprising planning, action, observation, and reflection phases. The research subjects were 31 students of Grade IV A. Data were collected through a Likert-scale learning interest questionnaire, observation sheets, and semi-structured interviews, and analyzed using descriptive statistics and N-Gain scores. Results demonstrated significant improvement from Cycle I to Cycle II: teacher activity increased from 89% to 97%, student activity from 89% to 96.5%, and learning interest from 90% to 97%. Post-test mastery in Cycle II reached 93% with an average score of 91, while the N-Gain value improved from the low category (0.25) to the moderate category (0.37). This study concludes that Wordwall media effectively enhances student learning interest and active participation. It is recommended that teachers utilize Wordwall features variably, supported by Student Worksheets (LKPD) and adequate technological infrastructure at school.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management system and implementation of administration in the Human Resource Development (HRD) Division of PT. Kepsindo Indra Utama. Human resource administration plays a strategic role in supporting the company’s operational activities, particularly in managing employee data, preparing documents, and regulating internal policies related to human resource management. This research employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach through direct observation, interviews, and documentation study. The results indicate that the HRD Division of PT. Kepsindo Indra Utama has implemented a fairly structured administrative system, which includes employee data archiving, attendance recording, and personnel reporting. However, challenges remain in the optimal utilization of information technology, causing certain administrative processes to run less effectively and efficiently. These findings highlight the importance of developing a digital-based administrative system to improve service quality, accelerate workflow, and support the achievement of organizational goals. Therefore, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of modern administrative practices within corporate environments, particularly in the field of human resource management.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of the learning environment in influencing students’ academic achievement, particularly the seating position in the classroom. The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation between seating arrangement and Grade Point Average (GPA) of students in the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) program. This research employs a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population consists of PGSD students, and the sample is determined using purposive sampling, focusing on students who actively participate in classroom learning. Data were collected through questionnaires, which included information about students’ seating positions (front, middle, and back) and their GPA, reported directly by the respondents. Data analysis was conducted using a normality test and Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results indicate that the data are normally distributed (p > 0.05) and reveal a significant positive correlation between seating position and students’ GPA, with a correlation coefficient of 0.748 (p < 0.001), which falls into the strong correlation category. These findings suggest that students who occupy more strategic seating positions tend to achieve higher academic performance.

Abstract

The current challenge in education is to create a generation that is not only knowledgeable but also has a strong character. Muhammadiyah Jogokariyan Elementary School holds a student leadership development program through leadership training. This program is designed for an annual program in a work meeting by the principal, teachers, and committee. This program is structured in stages from grade 1 to grade 6 which contains elements of student leadership training from an early age. This study aims to determine the planning, implementation, supporting factors, and inhibiting factors of student leadership development in character education at Muhammadiyah Jogokariyan Elementary School through a leadership training program. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with quantitative analysis, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources obtained are from the principal, teachers, and students as research subjects. The results of the study indicate that 1) the implementation of the student leadership development program in character education reviewed through the leadership training program includes: the leadership values ​​of responsibility, courage, and empathy. 2) the character values ​​developed reviewed through the leadership training program include: the character values ​​of discipline, religiousness, independence, and caring. 3) supporting factors for the analysis of student leadership development in character education include: a) the role of parents, b) the role of peers. 4) There are three factors inhibiting the analysis of student leadership development in character education, namely: a) the role of the family (parents), b) the role of peers, c) gadget factors.
