Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This research examines the effect of organizational commitment, apparatus competence, and information technology utilization on the implementation of SAKIP at the Population and Civil Registration Office. The method used is a quantitative approach with an associative design and a confirmatory research design. Data collection was conducted via a questionnaire. The study population consisted of 125 employees of the Population and Civil Registration Offices in Pati and Jepara Regencies, with a sample of 76 respondents selected using convenience sampling. The collected data were analyzed through multiple linear regression, partial and simultaneous hypothesis testing, as well as coefficient of determination analysis using IBM SPSS version 25. The findings indicate that organizational commitment has a positive but insignificant effect on the implementation of SAKIP. Conversely, apparatus competence and the use of information technology significantly and positively influence the implementation of SAKIP. Collectively, the three independent variables explain 50.1% of the variance in SAKIP implementation of SAKIP, with an F-calculated value (24.073) > F-table value (2.732) and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.501 indicates that the three variables account for 50.1% of the variation in SAKIP implementation, whereas the remaining percentage is explained by variables beyond the scope of this study.

This study aims to examine the implementation of morning activities in improvingstudent discipline at SDN 026 Huraba through Field Experience Practice (PPL). Field observations indicate that SDN 026 Huraba implements various forms of positive habits that involve students from the very start of daily activities. These activities begin with a morning greeting, a group prayer, singing the national anthem, and a 10-minute literacy sessionbefore instruction begins. Teachers involvestudents in monitoringclassroom cleanlinessand the orderlinessof seating arrangements. Research findings indicate that morningactivities have a positive impact on improving student discipline. This isevident in increased punctuality, neatness of attire,compliance with rules, and active participation in school activities.In addition, religious activities such as reciting the Yasin also play a role inshaping students’ religious character. Habits formed through daily routinesare able to instill a disciplined attitude gradually withoutcoercion. Thus, the implementation of morning activities can be one of theeffective strategies for improving student discipline in elementary schools.

Learning concentration is an essential ability that students must possess to support the success of the learning process, yet many students at SD Negeri 36 Banda Aceh still exhibit low focus during lessons. This study aims to determine the improvement of students' learning concentration through the Senam Anak Indonesia Hebat (SAIH) program. The research employed a quantitative approach with an experimental method, specifically a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of 186 students, and a sample of 29 fifth-grade students was selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, Likert-scale questionnaires, and documentation, then analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and t-test calculations. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant effect of the SAIH program on students' learning concentration. This is supported by the t-calculated value of 10.18, which is higher than the t-table value of 1.70 at a significance level of 0.05. Furthermore, the average concentration score increased from 34.13 in the pretest to 38.86 in the posttest. It is concluded that the implementation of SAIH effectively enhances student focus and readiness in the classroom.

This study aims to analyze the influence of the presence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers as role models on students' religious behavior at MAN 2 Karawang. Religious education in schools is not only oriented towards knowledge transfer, but also character building and internalization of religious values in daily life. Therefore, teacher role models are an important factor in shaping students' religious behavior. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational survey method. The research sample consisted of 28 grade XI students selected through a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a Likert scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. The results showed that the presence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers was in the moderate category with an average value of 32.21, while students' religious behavior was in the moderate category with an average value of 34.29. The regression test showed a positive relationship with an R value of 0.583 and a coefficient of determination of 34.0%. This confirms that teacher role models have a significant contribution in shaping students' religious behavior. Thus, improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education teachers' role models is a strategic step in strengthening the character of students in the madrasa environment (Akip et al., 2025; Dewangga et al., 2026).

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of suboptimal student learning motivation at MTs Muhammadiyah Lempangang Gowa. The focus of this research is to examine the influence of fiqh teacher performance on student learning motivation. This study aims to describe the performance of fiqh teachers, student learning motivation, and analyze the influence between the two variables. The method used is quantitative ex post facto with a simple paradigm design. The study population involved 73 eighth grade students, with data collection techniques using questionnaires (Likert scale) and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression through the assistance of SPSS. The results showed that the performance of fiqh teachers was in the moderate category (71%), and student learning motivation was also in the moderate category (57%). The results of the hypothesis test showed a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, which means that teacher performance has a positive and significant effect on learning motivation by 48%, while the remaining 52% is influenced by other factors. In conclusion, the performance of fiqh teachers has an important role in encouraging student learning activity and enthusiasm. Teachers are expected to continue to improve the quality of their learning so that student motivation is maintained and increases effectively.

Reading comprehension skills in elementary school students still need attention because some students experience difficulties in understanding reading texts even though they are already able to read fluently. In the learning process, the use of less varied learning media often makes students feel bored and less focused during reading activities. The use of computer-based digital media can be an alternative for teachers to create more interesting reading instruction and encourage students to be more active during learning activities. This study aims to determine teachers’ strategies in utilizing computer digital media to improve elementary school students’ reading literacy. The study used a qualitative approach with a literature review design. Data were obtained from scientific journals, books, research articles, and academic documents related to teacher strategies, computer digital media, and reading literacy. Data collection techniques were carried out through documentation studies, while data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the study show that teachers’ strategies have an important role in the use of computer digital media in reading instruction. Teachers play a role in preparing learning activities, guiding students during reading activities, and evaluating students’ comprehension. In addition, the use of computer digital media helps create more interesting learning activities, makes students more focused, and helps students understand reading texts better.

Community empowerment through productive activities is one strategy to increase individual and group independence. One such activity is hydroponic vegetable cultivation. This study aims to describe the empowerment stages implemented through hydroponic planting activities in the Kemuning Women's Farmers Group (KWT) in Cibeber Village, Cilegon City. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques including interviews and documentation. The results indicate that empowerment activities were implemented through four main stages: site selection, program socialization, implementation of empowerment activities, and member self-reliance. In the initial stage, site selection took into account accessibility, land conditions, and the availability of local resources. The socialization stage was conducted to increase members' understanding of the benefits and techniques of hydroponic cultivation. The implementation stage was realized through practical activities such as planting, maintenance, and harvesting. Meanwhile, the self-reliance stage was demonstrated through the development of members' creativity and innovation in optimizing land and planting systems. This program provides social and economic benefits for members and the surrounding environment.

Public Health Centers (Puskesmas) as primary healthcare facilities play an important role in providing quality health services to the community. One of the initial service points that influences patient satisfaction is the registration service. Patient satisfaction is an indicator of healthcare service success and is influenced by service quality, which includes the dimensions of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. This study aims to describe the level of patient satisfaction based on service quality dimensions toward the services provided by registration staff at Jagapura Public Health Center, Cirebon Regency, in 2026. This study employed a descriptive quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with an accidental sampling method. The research instrument was a questionnaire using a 1–4 Likert scale. The research variables included respondent characteristics (name, gender, age, and occupation) and the five dimensions of service quality (tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy). Data were analyzed using univariate analysis to obtain frequency distributions and percentages for each satisfaction indicator.

This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design, where data was collected through a questionnaire. The results showed a positive relationship between pedagogical competence and self-confidence. This means that students with strong pedagogical competence tend to have higher self-confidence as prospective teachers. Becoming a teacher requires not only teaching skills but also the confidence to communicate and interact with students in class.This study aims to analyze the relationship between pedagogical competence and the self-confidence of Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) students as prospective educators. Pedagogical competence encompasses the ability to understand student characteristics, design learning, and manage teaching and learning activities. Meanwhile, self-confidence plays a crucial role in helping students deliver material clearly, effectively, and convincingly.

This study examined differences in organizational commitment in terms of work-life balance types among public junior high school teachers in Sidoarjo Regency. A comparative quantitative design with purposive sampling involved 334 teachers. Data from validated work-life balance and organizational commitment scales were analyzed using an Independent Sample T-Test. The results showed a significant difference between Active Balance and Beneficial Balance types (t(307.9) = -7.409; p < 0.001). Teachers with Beneficial Balance demonstrated higher organizational commitment than those with Active Balance. These findings indicate that work-life balance typology specifically the interaction between job demands and resources plays a key role in shaping teachers' organizational commitment. This study contributes by showing that a typological approach provides a richer understanding of organizational commitment variation.
